Magi 203
Alibaba is still
brooding this time, but not because of Balbadd. Morg thinks he should be happy
because he added two more people to his household, but doesn’t realize he’s
lingering on Olba and Toto getting together. They’re being very lovey dovey and
they stop, thinking they’re bothering Alibaba, but he says it’s fine and goes
to his room. He lets out his real feelings, frustrated that he can’t have a
girlfriend.
Olba tries to
apologize later, noting that Alibaba liked Toto first, Alibaba responding that
he’s a bit full of himself, since he barely knows Toto. Olba responds that
Alibaba still has Morg. He even notes that there are some signs that Morgiana
likes Alibaba. But Alibaba says they’re just good friends and Olba
misunderstood. Going back to his room, Alibaba is stunned, since he thinks
there’s no way Morg could fall in love with him. However he thinks he might be
too hasty in judging that way, since if he assumes she did, it would explain
her behaviors that confused him. But he’s also not sure how to respond to her
feelings. He then decides to confront her.
Morg is training,
Alibaba not able to be up front, deflecting the confession with observations
about the weather. But then Morg decides to tell Alibaba something, Alibaba
thinking it must be a confession. She says that he is an amazing person,
drawing people into his household with the qualities of a king. Eventually,
though, he may have so many people that Morg will become less important and she
wishes to remain by his side. He responds that she is important to him as well
and that she should try to do something besides being with him. Morg
misunderstands, Alibaba explaining that he meant that if she decides to stay,
he wants her by his side forever. Morgiana starts to cry, since she’s so happy
and Alibaba embraces her, smiling at Olba and Toto as the chapter ends.
World Trigger 38
Yuma is shown to get
top scores in all the other exams he takes, figuring out that even if he gets
perfect scores in the group sessions, it will take over 4 months to get 4000
points just by that. Therefore, his main focus is the rank wars, which Tokieda
starts to explain.
We see some of the
stuck up rookies from before starting the rank wars, which are apparently a
simulation system. One of the bullies finds himself against Yuma. He
effortlessly defeats them all, gaining much more points. Kido sees this,
commenting on how much power he has, being Kuga’s son. The others think he
might be too powerful and should’ve gotten about 3000 points, so he’d advance
to B rank much quicker, but Rindo thought Kido would object. We find out Kitora
started with 3600, so it’s something usually done for those with exceptional
talent. Kido asks why Yuma’s not using his Black Trigger, Rindo responding that
it’s obvious that Kido would object to that as well.
Chika is also
brought up, with her exceptional Trion level. Rindo then explains that Chika is
the main reason why the three skilled rookies in Tamakoma are teamed up, trying
to become an away squad to get to the Neighbor world and find Chika’s friend
and brother. Kido says that they may not even be alive and with the amount of
countries, it’d be difficult to specify where they are. Rindo responds that
they are still motivated by that goal, so they’ll work harder because of it. He
then connects back to Miwa and his goal of revenge for his sister, Kazama
commenting that he’s different from either of them. He also notes that Miwa has
seemed disturbed by something Arashiyama told him a month ago. Jin arrives and a meeting starts, the topic about
a projected large scale Neighbor invasion.
We see Yuma and
Replica talking about the human system of currency and how the higher amounts
are in paper instead of metal coins as well as the concept of getting change
when you buy something. He drops a coin and the chapter ends as Miwa confronts
Yuma.
Bleach 557
The chapter starts
with something causing massive destruction in the area where Bambietta is and
she’s stunned at the power. We see Dangai Jouei and he shows off his power
more.
Bambietta is
surprised there wasn’t a dog/wolf under the armor and then moves to attack,
thinking there might be one under the new form’s face. But it blocks her attack
with its hand, seemingly no damage dealt.
Komamura explains
that the original form was armor with life breathed into it, but the new form
is pure reiatsu, so her reishi based attacks cannot affect it, since it’s
intangible in a way. But Bambietta responds that she should still be able to
destroy it, since it’s exposed now and anything she puts her power into
explodes. Komamura retorts that there’s no life in it, since it cast the source
of its life away.
We see his ancestor
looking at the heart Komamura gave him and Bambietta is confused, since her
understanding was that the Bankai was linked to its holder, so if the holder
was killed the Bankai should cease to exist. She then attacks Komamura himself,
but it seems like even he is almost indestructible. We see the hole where he
removed his heart and he explains that his body is like a shell now, that he’s
already cast aside his life for this power. The body he has is temporary, but
for the amount of time he has for the Human Metamorphosis technique, his body
is immortal.
Bambietta thinks
he’s wasting his time, since he might defeat her, but he’ll die as well. But
Komamura says that he decided this from the start, since he has to repay the debt
he owes to Yamamoto. He specifies he isn’t throwing it away, but putting his
life on the line, so I wonder if he’ll be able to survive this.
The chapter ends as
Bambietta is cornered by Dangai Jouei and he slashes her as the chapter ends,
but Bambietta explodes, meaning this battle might not quite be over.
Naruto 655
We see the Tailed
Beasts all compliment Naruto on bringing them out and stopping Obito.
Sasuke moves to kill
Obito, Obito accepting it. Suddenly Kakashi appears from the other dimension,
apparently also moving to kill Obito. He says he’ll talk to Sasuke later, but
since Obito was his friend, he’s taking responsibility. But Minato stops
Kakashi at the last moment. The rest of the army seems to support killing him,
but Tsunade calms them down.
Minato tells Kakashi
that while Naruto was the one to stop Obito, Kakashi has to be the one to
really tell him the truth and can sympathize with him the most.
Minato tells Naruto
and the others to support Hashirama, Madara still needing to be sealed. He
tells Kakashi that Rin wouldn’t have wanted this to happen, but he blames
himself most of all. Minato wanted to protect Rin, Obito explaining how Rin was
the most important thing to him. When she died, his world became bleak and
dark. Even as he pretended to be Madara, his conviction only deepened and he
couldn’t see any hope. Kakashi says he felt the same way, having lost everyone
close to him. But he remembered Obito’s words and he tried to see a new future
with the Sharingan he gave him.
Obito thinks he’s
talking about Naruto and that he won’t fail, but Kakashi admits he could. But
he’s less likely to fail and Kakashi says he will help him when he stumbles. Obito
asks why, Kakashi explaining that Naruto doesn’t accept things as they are,
always pressing forward. And he draws in comrades with that attitude, which
makes his resolve stronger. Obito wonders if it’s possible to be so positive, Kakashi
saying that he can find it, since he is like Naruto in his own way. The chapter
ends as Kakashi says if Obito had had friends like Naruto does, he could’ve
seen a new path.
Naruto is on hiatus
until the beginning of next year, so at least a month without Naruto.
One Piece 728
We see the chaos
continue in Dressrosa, thanks to Doflamingo’s meddling. The higher ups have
called Vergo and the Marines to quell the conflict.
Meanwhile Viola, who
was the member of Doflamingo’s army with the Goggle Goggle fruit, finds Monet
opening the palace doors to let the “true” rulers into the palace. We see what
I imagine is most of Doflamingo’s major crew enter and proceed to clear out the
soldiers and everyone else.
Riku, meanwhile, is
grief stricken at what Doflamingo is forcing him to do and the citizens are
astonished at the atrocities he’s committing. They begin to resent him,
starting the hatred that continues to the present.
Suddenly, Doflamingo
and his three highest generals, Diamante, Pica and Trebol, appear to “save” the
country. They go about this and the people love them for saving them from the
horrors that occurred.
The story complete,
we see that everyone regrets doubting Riku. Usopp thinks that logically, the
king would’ve been put to death, but since that clearly isn’t the case, we get
an explanation of how he survived. Viola was King Riku’s daughter, presumably
Rebecca’s mother’s sister and with her power, Doflamingo agreed to a deal: let
King Riku live in exchange for Viola joining his group. And now she’s Violet,
so we see how the pieces connect and why Violet seeks to escape. The suffering
they must have had to endure weighs heavily on the others.
Even the army
defected, though they had no other choice, some of them dying in the conflict.
But it turns out that the soldiers were still only a portion of the country’s
army. Many were turned into toys and some have even forgotten who they are. The
toys still recall their hatred for Doflamingo and the toy soldier says that’s
what will turn the tide in this rebellion, since there are so many of them.
Usopp says they
don’t have to fight Doflamingo, since their main objective was destroying the
factory. It’s then revealed to them that Doflamingo didn’t actually quit the
Shichibukai, which understandably makes them shocked and see that their
original plan is falling apart.
We see Chinjao and
Riku talking about their retirement and that they wished they had children. The
other grandson of Chinjao and other fighters are being turned into toys,
explaining why Chinjao is losing his memories of them.
The chapter ends as
Luffy finds Zoro and Kinemon, Bellamy moving to attack Luffy as Doflamingo
ordered him to.
Fairy Tail 360
Natsu and Jackal are still staring each other down, Mikero
starting to run away, Lucy and Wendy keeping him safe.
Jackal uses his power and creates a ring of explosions
around the area they’re in, sealing them so they can’t escape.
Natsu moves to attack, Jackal using an explosion directly on
Natsu, but Happy says they’re useless on the fire dragon slayer, who eats it
and closes in on Jackal, knocking him back. He dodges Natsu’s follow up attack,
but Natsu then attacks from below. Jackal seems beat, but he tries to tell him
something. But Natsu isn’t having any of that, pummeling him more. He remembers
that he’s supposed to ask about their hideout and goals.
Mikero thinks that they could be after “Faith”, a “White
Inheritance” that is rarely known about even amongst the council members. The
mystery behind it deepens, since Zeref apparently knew about it and that was
part of his plan. He moves to leave, but the others are suspicious, thinking he
knows something that he’s keeping from them, but he insists he doesn’t know
anything
Jackal gets back up and before he starts again, he tells
Natsu that his curse is turning anything that touches him into bombs (though I
wonder how he blew up the other stuff before unless he also made contact with
it at some point) and Natsu begins to glow, exploding and seemingly defeated
and charred.
The chapter ends as Jackal says that Mikero should give him
the info he desires, so he’ll just kill his granddaughter instead of both of
them.
