Boku no Hero Academia 75

Todoroki and Bakugou are walking from the midpoint, where Ragdoll was waiting. They encounter one of the Villains, dressing in what appears to be a gimp suit as he looks upon someone’s dismembered arm. Bakugou resolves to fight him, since he creeps him out.

We see a map of where most of the Heroes and Villains are as we move to where Mandalay is fighting Spinner.

She uses her Telepathy to distract him with a fake compliment, slashing at him. She’s pulled by the other Villain, stopped from being struck by his giant magnet by Tiger, who notes that his Villain name hints at his Quirk ability to draw in metal with magnetism of some sort.

Magne blocks Tiger’s punch, Mandalay wondering why Ragdoll hasn’t responded, since she’s usually very prompt.

Meanwhile, Deku is attacked by the Villain targeting Kouta, though he reveals that his assigned mark is Bakugou, asking him if he knows where the Explosion Hero is.

He continues to beat Deku up, even laughing as Deku tries to attack him, the punch landing but having no impact to it and the One For All inheritor knocked away.

The nature of the enhancement Quirk is explained, strengthening muscle fibers. The Villain taunts Deku, saying he shouldn’t just brag that he’ll protect people if he doesn’t have the power to back it up.

Kouta throws a rock to distract the Villain, lashing out at him for killing his parents. But the Villain responds that he doesn’t hold a grudge, he was just doing what he wanted and Kouta’s parents tried to stop him.

He suggests that people who complain and blame others are ineffective at making things happen rather than the ones who make an effort and gain power to enact their goals.

Deku rushes at him again in spite of the Villain calling him weak. He gets his arm intentionally trapped between his muscle fibers to close the distance.

The chapter ends as Deku prepares to use 100% of One For All’s power, saying that the Villains are at fault, Heroes risking their lives just part of their job and not something to be condemned.

Seven Deadly Sins 158

We see a bard singing of the adventurers trying to conquer the labyrinth and how hopeless it seems

Meanwhile, Hawk is impressed at how his new form allows him to swim underground, Diane and the others trying to attack the Earth Crawler.

Diane’s hammer slides off the monster’s skin, Gilthunder and Hauser’s combined attack doing some damage. As it tries to retreat, Diane uses her Creation power to push it out the ground.

The three team up to attack, but the mysterious figure from before observes the mucus covering the Earth Crawler’s body, freezing it with a mysterious power and defeating it almost instantly.

Elsewhere we see Assassin Knights of Marakia having defeated one of the Earth Crawlers with poison, while a devotee of the Goddess has done immense damage to the area, even mourning the creature it killed as it cries out in pain.

Someone with more Japanese clothes has sliced one in two, astonishing the other fighters.

The chapter ends as Meliodas has defeated a handful, sampling their meat with Arthur and noting how bad it tastes, thinking it’ll be good for Hawk.

World Trigger 128

The battle begins in earnest, Gatlin’s arm gun unleashing a massive blast. Kou manages to block the brunt of it, but a Dog Trion Soldier attacks him in the blind spot created, taking off his arm.

Ratarikov unleashes a new Trigger called Despinis (Dancer), attacking in the form of orbs surrounded by rings in an arc pattern. This reveals to Gatlin that Kazama can’t attack while cloaked, the agent blocking one of the attacks with Scorpion.

Gatlin then slashes with the insectoid arms on his back, Konami and Tachikawa narrowly dodging. Konami then attacks from above with Meteor, Kou knocking back Ratarikov’s Despinis.

Tachikawa appears next to Ratarikov, slashing at him with Senkuu Kogetsu, but Gatlin blocks it with his arms, knocking Tachikawa into the wall. Kazama keeps away some Dogs from targeting Tachikawa while he’s weakened.

Konami attacks from the side, managing to do some damage to one of the arms, surprising Gatlin.

The groups split apart after some clashes, Gatlin impressed that something not of a Black Trigger could piece his Pasiussa (Executioner). Ratarikov is impressed at their tactics, told by Gatlin to summon more Dogs to overwhelm them. Gatlin notes he’ll need some time to recharge the cannon on his arm to fire again.

Tachikawa thinks it took a lot of effort just to take one of Gatlin’s extra arms out, but Kazama says they have to work with their tempo, since the Neighbors know what they’re protecting and can target it to disrupt their movements. Konami also says they’re not falling for the traps Fuyushima set.

They agree they need to take out Gatlin first, since he’s tougher by comparison. The Dogs and the Dancer Trigger are coordinating, Kazama deciding he’ll target Ratarikov, who’s wary of his stealth tactics, while Konami, Murakami and Tachikawa focus on defeating Gatlin.

As the team prepares to fight we shift to Hyuse, who thinks that it’s more likely he can escape if Galopoula is invading rather than Rhodokroun, since the latter is more dependent on Trion soldiers, while Galopoula has elite soldiers, with Triggers suited for multiple enemies.

The chapter ends as he thinks he has a small chance either way, but he has to take it when it presents itself, the last panels focusing on Koskero and Reghindetz, implying Hyuse might contact them after helping them in battle or the like.

Magi 292

Alibaba is shown the libraries where various documents on Kou’s history, judicial system and other aspects are stored, one room of many that are similarly massive in scale.

Kougyoku wonders why Alibaba isn’t focusing on his search for Aladdin, but the Dungeon Conqueror responds that even Sinbad and Yunan don’t know, as well as the empress, so he’s taking advantage of his lucky arrival in this situation.

He thinks Aladdin will notice when he’s helped the Kou Empire, but Ka Koubun thinks it’s hopeless, since there’s no way Alibaba could read all the books here in the time they’ve been given by Sinbad to repay the debt.

We see that Alibaba’s power of concentration allows him to read the scrolls faster than anyone normally could. He thinks to himself that he has to help Kou, because friends like Kouha and Kougyoku helped him in the past.

2 weeks later, the group has found a solution, Koubun thinking it’s acceptable. But Alibaba says Kougyoku has to be the one to encourage the people, even though the others think she can’t show herself as the empress. Alibaba encourages her, thinking she has the responsibility now, Kougyoku agreeing in spite of Koubun trying to dissuade her.

A summons was sent to all corners of the empire, calling back anyone associated with the empire.

The returning solders are bewildered at their empress being so young, but Kougyoku commands their respect as she questions their capabilities, questioning their competence since she thinks they judged her capacity from her appearance.

She tells them that the war is not over, it’s merely changed from military to economic in nature, even suggesting that the other countries are stealing their resources and invading them in a proverbial sense.

To change their position, they must reconsider their perspective and use their resources in new ways, turning swords to plowshares and ships for trading purposes instead of naval battle. She insists they can rule the world again with the skills they’ve developed directed towards creating a trading company.

Her charisma and devotion to the pride of her country inspires the soldiers, who praise her as their empress as the chapter ends.

Bleach 660

Orihime and Chad arrive where Ichigo is, seeing Uryuu and astonished at his seeming betrayal.

Jugram arrives, Ichigo noticing his eyes are like Juhabach’s, and tells Uryuu that he must kill them to prove he isn’t a traitor. But he thinks he’s already seen the future.

Uryuu attacks Ichigo, the two clashing as Ichigo asks why he’s attacking them.

The Soul Reaper is pushed back, Uryuu shooting the ground and creating an opening that the trio falls through, Uryuu following in the confusion.

The group is safe, Orihime having cushioned their fall with Santen Kesshun.

Ichjigo demands to know why Uryuu’s doing this, the Quincy saying that he’ll tell them, but he hopes his friend won’t get violent if he doesn’t understand.

He gives them a Sun Key, allowing them to utilize the Sun Gates that connect to various locations, including the Human World. The group is told to take some directions and leave, so Uryuu can enact his plan.

He will use the chips scattered around Wahrwelt and draw in the reishi, causing the palace to collapse.

Chigo responds that Uryuu doesn’t have to do this alone, but Uryuu says that only his spirit pressure can activate them, since it was from the Sanrei Glove he used in their first travel to Soul Society.

He tells them that they cannot hope to defeat Juhabach, hoping that they retreat before Juhabach or Jugram figures it out.

The chapter ends as Jugram appears, saying he was already aware of this plan from the start with the Almighty’s power.

One Piece 814

The group is heading to meet Cat Viper, who speaks to Wanda and Carrot about the situation and how Nami and the others are trying to avoid the issue of Sanji and blaming themselves for Pekoms, the Night group taking care of his injuries. He insists that the Straw Hats need to let the Minks help them, since they were saved in their greatest time of need.

Meanwhile, Brook has been singing a song about how he imagines Cat Viper, fictionalizing things that he doesn’t know, like how he imagines the Lord of Night is lonely.

The crew discusses the situation, Luffy indignant at the idea of serving under Big Mam, but the alternative not very pleasant either, since it could mean Sanji intends to leave the crew.

Sanji’s letter makes them think he knew there was no choice; that he had to go to the wedding.

Usopp thinks that Sanji’s family is the key in this, Robin thinking she might’ve heard the name Vinsmoke at some point.

Zoro reminds everyone that they have more pressing matters, since Kaidou is now a threat with the SMILE factory in Dressrosa destroyed.

Nami defends Sanji’s actions, saying that he didn’t do this out of some desire to get away from everyone, but to save them.

Luffy says they should ask Sanji, but the others remind him that Big Mom is not to be trifled with.

Chopper brings up that they could ask Pekoms, a member of her crew left behind, about their whereabouts, once he recovers.

The group arrives, the Guardians apologizing for their overzealousness before, Luffy saying it wasn’t much. We also meet Pedro, mentioned before, the leader of the Guardians.

We hear Pekoms’ full name Pekomamushi, Chopper guided by a deer Mink who he’s apparently somewhat smitten with.

Nekomamushi is in the bath eating lasagna, Chopper’s orders ignored since the Cat Viper enjoys freedom too much. Chopper insists he get in bed after Cat Viper’s wounds reopen as he plays with a ball.

CatViper is treated by Chopper, frustrated at how uncooperative he is.

Meanwhile, Pekoms is recovering well, having blocked some of the shots with a power, possibly from a Zoan Devil Fruit, since we saw him get a turtle shell at some point.

He explains that Mom was the one who arranged the marriage along with Sanji’s father. The Vinsmokes, it turns out, are a notorious family of assassins, the chapter ending on this revelation.

Toriko 356

Komatsu’s group is in awe of NEWS, Jiji impressed that Brunch and Zebra managed to capture and prepare it.

The pair was chosen because Area 5 has the absolute strongest beasts apart from the 8 Kings. Thankfully, with NEO’s fragment distracting them, Zebra and Brunch avoided them and got NEWS ready in the opening they had.

As the group arrives at Area 4, they’re told about the Cave of the Old, rumored to have a temporal adjustment that moves time 200000 times faster, rapidly aging someone in a matter of a few hours.

Komatsu’s worried though, since Sani and Livebearer can’t use the Back Channel to slow down the temporal distortion.

Somehow the two didn’t age rapidly, EARTH acquired, since Yosaku let them know about it beforehand. The version they have is likely purer, since it’s from the Gourmet Garden itself rather than just the roots which Yosaku revived the ingredients from initially.

The pair only explain that they somehow managed to get through, arriving at the civilization in Area 4, which was where they found out about the Gourmet Garden and acquired EARTH, helped by Manan and Yosaku of Biotope 0.

As the group comes to Area 3, we’re told about how ATOM, Acacia’s drink, comes to be, the magma from Cloud Mountain, pulling in toxins from space and coming back down to earth. There it becomes a poisonous waterfall, which you must then purify to get the ingredient, comparable to GOD and ANOTHER in difficulty.

It’s also dangerous to walk in Area 3, since the clouds only have certain areas that are stable, the Red Nitro creating a bridge that allows for easier travel over the poisonous clouds below.

The group starts to split off after meeting Coco and Tairan, most of the Full Course brought together. The 10 Shell Five return to human world with Chiyo and Chinchin, Brunch heading to the Bishokukai, because he has something to deal with there.

The 3 members of the Four Kings already present, along with Jiji and Komatsu, head to Area 2 to meet up with Toriko and Starjun to capture and prepare GOD.

Jiji warns them that NEO will probably be awakening soon and they’ll have to fight him.

He proceeds to explain the nature of the ancient Gourmet Demon, Toriko telling Starjun, the Blue Nitro to Jirou and Joa to Midora as the chapter concludes with the initial fact of NEO’s existence: it was a single cell in the beginning.

Fairy Tail 470

Warrod and the others make a last ditch effort to take down Serena, Warrod binding him with plants, Wolfheim transforming and striking him with his enhanced power, Jura knocking him into the air with pillars of earth and Hyberion using his vampire magic, which somehow immobilizes the mage.

August is impressed, in spite of being considered one of the strongest mages himself. Jacob moves to help, but August says Serena has yet to reveal his true power.

Serena’s eyes turn dark as he uses what appears to be Earth Dragon Slaying magic, knocking the Wizard Saints back. But he also uses the other magics of dragons we vaguely know of.

Jacob and August comment that Serena has 8 different Dragon Slayer Lacryma in his body, basically making him the strongest Dragon Slayer around, called Hybrid Theory as an alias.

As the Spriggans leave, everyone in the area suddenly is overwhelmed by a new presence.

It’s Acnologia in his human form, Serena ready to fight him and prove his power.

But he’s immediately dispatched in one blow, Acnologia noting there are 7 left until he destroys all Dragons, the chapter ending on his overwhelming victory.
