Boku no Hero Academia 56

Stain emphasizes how his purge targets both Villains who have no goals and Heroes with no sense of duty.

Shigaraki is irritated at this turn of events, wondering why Stain’s doing this and how the Noumu was killed so quickly.

The Heroes at the scene think Stain took Deku hostage as Endeavor appears, telling them to fight him.

But Gran Torino seems to recognize Stain’s true face as he rips off his torn mask, the Hero Killer now targeting Endeavor.

He says that he must kill the fakes, emitting such bloodlust that everyone is near paralyzed with fear. But he suddenly loses consciousness, one of his ribs perforating into his lung.

Deku, Todoroki and Iida are recovering a few days later, all thinking that Stain must’ve let them live, since he saw something in them that was worth protecting.

They’re greeted by Gran Torino and Chief Tsuragamae of the Hosu Police department.

He explains that the reason why Heroes are accepted today is because their predecessors followed rules strictly. Thus, it is incumbent on him to dole out a punishment for Deku, Iida, Todoroki, Manual Hero (the Hero who was with Iida initially), Endeavor and Gran Torino.

Todoroki says that’s absurd, since if Deku and Iida hadn’t violated the rules, people would’ve died. The chief of police admires that spirit, even if they are young.

Tsuragamae continues, saying that he would do that as a police officer, but that with the situation as it is, he’d rather keep this quiet, allow the public to think Endeavor beat Stain and preserve their reputations.

So things end with Deku, Iida and Todoroki remaining unknown as to their efforts and accomplishments against the Hero Killer, but they escape any official censure or punishment, thinking about their actions and trying to improve from their mistakes.

The chapter concludes as Deku thinks that there were still consequences to that day which no one could have seen coming.

Seven Deadly Sins 137

The group leaves Jenna and Zaneli, Elizabeth still worried about her failure to get stronger. Meliodas encourages her, saying he failed lots of times to control his rage and she’s already shown she has a great power in her when she saved everyone at the battle at Liones.

We see that Zaneli has likely unrequited love for Meliodas, holding back as the group leaves.

King has a brief talk with Helbram in his helmet, what happened in the cave with Meliodas still bothering him.

After everyone departs, Jenna notes that Zaneli set up Elizabeth’s trial so she’d fail, Zaneli saying she wanted to keep Elizabeth away from Meliodas, so he might come back to her. But Jenna responds that the reason why Meliodas risks everything for Elizazbeth is because she’s Liz’s reincarnation.

The group is still impressed Meliodas fought one of the Ten Commandments, Meliodas saying that he thinks Gil and Howser look stronger. They don’t think they’ve gotten much stronger, but Hawk confirms they’ve increase about 400 from their initial levels.

Meliodas asks Hawk what happened for him to change his appearance so much, the Leftovers Captain saying that he was eaten by a Tyrant Dragon and ate his way out. Now he can shoot fire from his nose and sort of fly with his ear wings.

Gowther and Arthur are still trying to get the weird thing off the king’s head and Griamore is still a child, Slader comforting him like a parent.

Gilthunder asks Hawk about Meliodas’ power level, Hawk seeing it as 3250, which is odd. Merlin corrects him, the actual number 32500.

But as the group leaves to find Escanor, Melidoas says the Sin of Pride is stronger than he is, though his own power is still a bit unstable.

Elsewhere, we see Fraudrin entering a town, some people observing that he’s changed from Dreyfus’ power quality. The two people in question are other members of the Six Stars of the Azure Sky from before, which included Dogget, Deathpiece and Wayeo, all of which were seen as moderately powerful, though only in the 1000s or so.

These two are much younger, Arden and Deldrey preparing to fight Fraudrin as the chapter ends.

Magi 277

Kouha discerns from the Seven Seas Alliance members from Sasan and Kina came here because Hakuryuu intentionally drew in Koumei’s side to fight them. This gave his allies the pretext to help him, since he was in what amounts to a civil war in a country they regard as rightfully his.

Takeruhiko says he doesn’t like how Hakuryuu’s been doing things, but he has no choice but to help his ally in a war. He unleashes his Djinn, Caim, throwing out a slash that misses Kouha, aiming for Koumei, who he strikes through the chest.

Kouha thinks to himself that this fight seems to just be a distraction, Sinbad bringing even more Metal Vessel users to Balbadd, while this 3 vs. 3 match continues. He resolves to fight, not willing to let this end with everyone dying against Hakuryuu’s forces as traitors.

The Leraje Djinn user tells Kougyoku that if they defeat Hakuryuu, the other 2 members of his alliance won’t have any need to be here. But she reacts as if she’s being controlled by Sinbad again, putting her blade to his neck.

Sinbad reveals himself to Kouha as we shift to Balbadd. The head of the Seven Seas Alliance says he supports ending the conflict in Kou, seeing Hakuryuu as the legitimate successor, since Hakutoku was the original emperor.

Hakuryuu continues along this line, noting how Kouen allied himself with Al Thamen and betrayed the emperor’s trust. He tells the rebel army to lay down their weapons and surrender.

We flash back to Hakuryuu asking Sinbad about his goals, Sinbad saying that they share similar goals of not wanting meaningless wars to be continued by those in power. With Hakuryuu taking down Gyokuen, Sinbad had an opportunity to unify Kou under Hakuryuu’s power. He tells Hakuryuu that their goal should be to take down Kouen, since he’s the last remaining person who seeks those wars to conquer others.

Hakuryuu reiterates this point, shocking everyone with his efforts alongside the Seven Seas Alliance to take down Kouen, who he sees as a false emperor.

The chapter ends as we’re left on the uncertainty of what Kouen will do against Sinbad and Hakuryuu’s combined assault

One Piece 798

Bastille demands to know where the reinforcements are, one of the Marines saying that all the bullets and gunpowder, along with anything else that was a weapon in their possession, has been stolen, revealed to be by the Tontatta. Also, the ships have been sewn together by Leo’s Sew Sew fruit and the Marines paralyzed from before are still immobile.

Meanwhile, the Marines that could fight are being delayed by Mansherry, who asks for more Dandedonors to help the injured.

Luffy’s heading to the Eastern Port, while Bartolomeo’s group prepares to hold off Fujitora’s troops.

Sengoku, talking to Law, flashes back to talking with Rocinante about the boy having White Leading Poisoning and reminding him that his primary mission is to stop his brother, Doflamingo.

He tells Law that he knew a Marine that was absolutely loyal, seeing him as his son. But one day he lied to him, dying in the process. He reveals that this incident was where Rocinante saved Law as well as the Op Op Fruit.

Law says that he wants to know why Rocinante died that day, seeing him as his savior in all ways after sacrificing himself to get the Op Op fruit to save his life. His greatest desire is to avenge Rocinante by killing Doflamingo, but Sengoku wonders if that’s what he’d want for the person he saved.

Law asks if Sengoku knows anything about the D initial, the Inspector General saying he doesn’t and Rocinante knew even less. Which means that he didn’t’ save Law because of his initial, but just because he cared for him as a person and was able to empathize with his situation of losing his family.

Sengoku leaves, saying he can’t do anything here, but that Law shouldn’t try to insist on revenge for Rocinante’s sake, but keep his memory alive.

Back at the Eastern Port, Fujitora utilizes his Devil Fruit power to levitate the rubble above Bartolomeo’s group, Tsuru telling Bastille to send the order for retreat, since they don’t need help now.

Law arrives, Bartolomeo ordering everyone to head for the ship. Luffy’s in the distance, Bartolomeo telling him to avoid Fujitora and get to the port with everyone else.

But the chapter ends as Luffy punches Fujitora, saying that he’s not going to run away from a challenge like he did 2 years ago.

Bleach 640

Nemu flashes back to when Mayuri first created her, thinking of the name he first gave her.

In the present, we see Mayuri laughing maniacally, inquiring as to whether Ashisogi Jizou’s digestion has been affected. Knowing that Pernidas regenerated allowed him to design the new form without teeth so that he wouldn’t break him up into multiple pieces.

But it seems that Pernidas still has tricks up his sleeve, exploding the inside of Ashisogi Jizou with his Quiny bow, virtually unharmed. He asks if Mayuri forgot that he’s a Quincy that uses a bow and arrow, the scientist saying that he didn’t forget, but that he’s surprised at the Soul King’s left arm referring to itself as a Quincy, somewhat shameless of him.

Pernidas retorts that there’s nothing to be ashamed of, his speech actually adjusting slightly as if he’s become slightly more intelligent for a brief moment. Mayuri wonders if he’s regaining his memories as the Soul King or if he’s evolving.

The Compulsory forms 5 bows, one on each finger, firing the bolts at him and attaching his nerves to allow for adjustment of the path as well as extend them out to Mayuri’s limbs.

Mayuri is forced to blow off one arm and a second arrow is redirected by nerves on the ground. Nemu grabs the arrow, slicing off her own arm, Mayuri having to pull her off the ground before the nerves scrambled her body.

He asks why she did that, since she’s not supposed to act in a way contrary to what he’s taught her.  Mayuri emphasizes, by referring to her as Sleeping Number 7, that he doesn’t want to have to go through this again and raise the next one in a slightly different way.

The chapter ends as he tells Nemu that she will only die when he says so, not sacrificing herself through her own will, and commanding her to get up, the Soul Reaper obeying.

Toriko 336

Nakaume’s hair turns white at the thought of what he saw. Teppei notes that he’s heard the 8 Kings are all moving, including Dragon King Deros in Area 1. He speculates it might be due to the coming Gourmet Solar Eclipse or the cooking competition in Area 6.

The cooking is apparently similar to what’s been done by the Blue Nitro for centuries, but Nakaume was one of the few chefs that went to that area. Nakaume says that it doesn’t matter where they go, that this thing will eat everything on earth, seeing a larger form of the abomination as it continues to grow.

Joa is preparing some ingredient, preserving it in a petrie dish along with others like it, when she notices Teppei and Nakaume are sneaking around.

Teppei tells Nakaume that there are people that might be able to take out something of the intensity that he saw, including Jirou and Setsuno.

But they’re attacked by something, whoever’s controlling it even able to temporarily adjust time, catching Teppei in a sticky web.

It’s Mohyan Shaishai, one of the greatest Saiseiya in history. He’s taken on a spider form, saying that he’s merely helping Joa, who is the main attraction. As the two fire attacks, we see that Shaishai can apparently speed up or reverse the growth of ingredients, which explains some of what he was doing before.

Teppei manages to escape, but before he can make another move, Joejoe, Kousairou and Zaus appear, Joejoe’s tongue grabbing at Teppei’s leg.

Alfaro manages to sever Joejoe’s regenerating tongue with new Gold Plates, and Midora also appears, taking out the three enemies, the chapter ending as he appears, Zaus shocked by his presence.

Fairy Tail 449

Mavis explains how she met Zeref by chance, learned magic from him and saved Magnolia from a dark guild. After using an incomplete magic, she was unable to age further, but didn’t seem to care much.

Later, a war for trading rights began, mage guilds drawn into the conflict as mercenaries. We see how Mavis already showed her amazing tactical skills to armies. Yuri and the others are part of the squad that’s meant to face the opposition’s mages. The army, with Mavis’ aid, manages to defeat their opponents, in spite of being massively outnumbered.

Afterwards, Mavis regrets the loss of life as everyone else makes merry. The Second Trade War ended with 10x the casualties of the first, mostly because of magic getting involved. The guilds unanimously decided that they should pass a treaty that forbade armed inter-guild conflict, creating a temporary peace.

Later, Mavis meets Zeref, thanking him for helping her. She is shocked to realize he’s Black Mage Zeref, the immortal wizard not telling her his identity back then for that very reason.

After she explains that her body doesn’t age because of using Law, Zeref thinks that she may have become just like him through a curse of Ancselam. He warns her that because of the recent war, she may start to value life more and the curse will affect those around her as well.

She runs away, thinking that it cannot be true as Zeref notes that this is how horrible he truly is.

The chapter ends as we see that Yuri is now a father, Makarov born as Mavis thinks she does appreciate life, but Zeref’s warning still lingering in her mind.

WSR 8-10 + 8-17-15

Disclaimer: These aren’t official translations, merely scanlations. Buy localized or original manga to support the author if at all possible. Know the difference between piracy/theft and sharing without personal profit.

Delayed release because of Obon happening recently, so there was a week without manga in official status. Some series have double releases even though others don’t because we already got them, I suppose. We should be back to normal next week.

Boku no Hero Academia 54-55

We flash back to Deku learning about Iida’s brother being Ingenium and how much Iida respects his brother as a Hero.

Iida thinks to himself how blind he’s been to what a true Hero is and how he’s insulted his brother’s name by using it like this.

The Engine Hero remembers how his brother told him that he became a Hero partly out of obligation, but also because he wanted to help people, respecting even those people who aren’t Heroes doing good things for those in need. He compliments Iida, saying he has great skills and his admiration for Ingenium makes his brother cool in spite of him being weaker by comparison, mostly because of how kind he is.

Iida thinks to himself he has to get better and even if he can’t compare to Deku or Todoroki, he needs to act now to save them.

Todoroki is stunned by Stain, who manages to avoid his attacks, saying the young Hero focuses too much on his Quirk.

Iida rushes in, saving Todoroki from the blade that Stain nearly hit him with, knocking him away with another kick after breaking the katana.

Stain says that he can’t fool him, that the young Hero hasn’t changed truly. But as Todoroki says that his thoughts are old fashioned, Iida notes that he has been selfish and needs to change, especially since giving up would be like killing his brother and shaming his name.

The Hero still stunned tells the others to run, but Todoroki observes that Stain has gotten more aggressive. Deku also points out that, reduced to his Quirk, Stain is actually rather limited in terms of combat, but he’s strong enough that he enhances that with general physical prowess, though he’s weaker against multiple opponents on his level, so he’s gotten serious now to eliminate what he sees as small fry.

Iida asks Todoroki if he can control his temperature, requesting him to chill his radiator so he can use his Quirk again, trying not to clog it like he did a while back.

Todoroki tries, while Deku is also moving to attack Stain after recovering from Blood Clot.

Iida pushes forward, the chapter ending as he and Deku simultaneously land a solid blow on Stain, resolved to fight with all their strength.

The next chapter begins a few minutes earlier where Endeavor and Gran Torino are fighting one of the Noumu. It releases the energy it absorbed from the flame attack, but Torino observes it seems to have multiple Quirks.

The Noumu rushes at Endeavor and Gran Torino takes it out with a successive blast of his Quirk, Jet. He releases air from his boots, but he has a limit based on his own breath capacity.

Shouto leaves Endeavor, giving him the address where Deku and the others are at. Endeavor tells Gran Torino to follow Shouto, while he provides assistance here with the other Noumu attacks.

Back with Shouto, Deku and Iida’s fight against Stain, Deku freezes as his power output went a bit overboard. Iida follows up his attack with another kick to the side, Stain feeling the pain from that one.

Shouto eases Deku and Iida’s fall with a wall of ice. They’re worried Stain might still get up, but it seems he was knocked out with that last attack by Iida.

The group ties him up, the pro Hero thinking he was useless. But the others say they managed to win by some luck and Stain’s lack of focus with Deku as a threat with his newly concentrated Quirk.

They meet up with various Heroes that Endeavor called to their location, the pros impressed that Stain was captured by them.

Iida apologizes for getting Shouto and Deku hurt, but they say he needs to pull himself together, since he’s the class president.

Suddenly, one of the Noumu flies over and grabs Deku, taking him away.

But the chapter ends as we see Stain had a hidden knife, freeing himself and stabbing the Noumu in the head, commenting on how his targets are both Villains who thoughtlessly throw around their power and Heroes who are fakes

Seven Deadly Sins 136

Galan demands that Merascylla, the Ten Commandment who apparently has the best ability to sense magic power, find Meliodas, but the others say he’ll just lose again.

Zeldris says their priority is destroying Britannia, ordering everyone to fan out and recover their power as best they can. Fraudrin wanrs them of the Seven Deadly Sins, which the others don’t seem to know about, Galan saying that he could’ve beaten Meliodas.

But before he finishes, another Commandment tells him that if he’s lying that he’ll have his power reflected back on him.

The group splits off, only Zeldris and Estarossa left behind. Zeldris says he has something to deal with nearby, Estarossa wanting to enjoy the fresh air after three millennia.

A bird lands on his arm, twisted by his dark power and then killed because it annoyed the demon.

The scene shifts to another town, everyone eating and making merry, Monspiet and Derriere (yes, that's her name, it would seem) arriving.

And at Byzel’s ruins, where Taizoo, one of the fighters in the preliminaries, is trying to set up a new fighting arena, two more of the Commandments arrive.

As Meliodas returns, everyone’s frustrated at him provoking the demonic generals, saying that he just make things worse.

The Sin of Wrath responds that with this state of things, the Ten Commandments are split up and the group can better fight them in teams, rather than all at once.

Most everyone is done with their training: Hawk has gotten dragon armor of some sort after training with Oslo; Arthur and Gowther come out, the king having a weird creature on top of his head, Slader and Griamore appearing, Dreyfus’ son apparently reduced to a younger state, the others confused.

Elizabeth appears, having completed her training as well, Zaneli giving her a new set of clothes that makes it easier to move around in, Howzer ogling Elizabeth. But Meliodas won’t have that, poking the Holy Knight in the eyes.

Hawk still wants attention, irritated that everyone is ignoring him to focus on others.

But the chapter ends as Elizabeth reveals she actually failed her training, to everyone’s shock.

World Trigger 112

Osamu is managing to shield off Inukai’s attacks as a Gunner, Shiori telling Yuma to get to where his leader is to protect him.

Tsuji attacks Yuma, but leaves him, saying that his opponent will be Kageura, since he and Inukai are supposed to double team Osamu.

The commentators note how dangerous it is in the beginning for everyone, Tamakoma 2 now in fights separately, since they couldn’t meet up.

Osamu thinks to himself about how he can fight a Gunner as a Shooter. Arashiyama told him that the major difference is control of the bullets, but the Gunner has more range to control the fight.

Since Osamu can’t maintain a prolonged fight in the snow, where his mobility is limited, he has to get out of it, so he breaks into a building with some shots, the weather not carrying into the structures.

Inukai moves in as well, Osamu trying to counterattack. But he shields the blow, everyone thinking that Osamu has lost the battle. It turns out, however, that Osamu had some shots waiting in Inukai’s blind spot.

The Gunner managesd to shield against it, complimenting Osamu on his improvements. But he keeps pressing him, Raygust about to break from the assault.

Suddenly, Azuma squad’s attackers burst in, taking out Inukai’s arm with a combined attack. He counterattacks and everyone’s shocked as Tsuji bursts in, taking out Koarai’s legs with a slash.

The situation has radically changed with 4 people targeting Osamu, but 2 of the pairs going against each other as well, Azuma’s threat of sniping keeping Tsuji and Inukai on their toes.

Azuma squad has the advantage according to Kako, since Inukai can’t support Tsuji in a narrow space without risking friendly fire. Tsuji concludes that Azuma did this on purpose to draw them into an indoor fight to begin with.

Koarai and Okudera’s teamwork as Attackers makes them excel against even higher level opponents according to Kazama.

Osamu thinks that since they aren’t targeting him, he should take the moment to attack, but Azuma uses the opening to take out Tamakoma 2’s leader.

Everyone notes that Azuma squad’s leader was the first Sniper, former member of the top A Rank squad, meaning they have a huge advantage in terms of experience.

Osamu Bails Out as the chapter concludes with Azuma squad getting the first point.

World Trigger is off next week.

Magi 276

Judar is still amazed that they’ve been within the world we’ve seen for most of the series, asking the Mother Dragon if they can get to where Hakuryuu and the others are. She says it would take 40 years by foot, since it’s such a massive continent.

We’re reminded by Alibaba that this is essentially the world of the Origin Dragon and the Red Lions, since they couldn’t be incorporated into the new world. Ugo had to drag it from space and connect it to the new planet through the power of the Sacred Palace.

The Origin Dragon explains that this is a world where the concept of a Magi chosen by Solomon doesn’t exist, since it’s disconnected from that world, which is why Judar could only use his own inner Rukh and not the Rukh around him. But he’s also physically weaker, so his magic wasn’t as powerful as it could be with proper training.

Mother Dragon says that she could see everything, including Il Illah. Judar wonders if they have to open up a hole again, but it turns out the world is already connected to Il Ilah.

But it seems that this god’s personality has changed from its original more benign regard towards the world, serving as a ground of being. Now, David, Solomon’s father, has apparently managed to overtake Il Illah and is now the dominant force.

Instead of just drawing out the white Rukh and rendering everything lifeless, David wants to control everything down to the last detail. Mother Dragon thinks it’s somewhat petty, but Alibaba says he cares about his friends and wants to help them live their lives as free as they can.

The Origin Dragon remembers her own family, inspired by Alibaba and replying that she will take them to Aladdin and the others.

As they’re flying towards their destination, Judar asks why this abnormality with Il Illah happened if Gyokuen is dead. Alibaba responds that it wasn’t Gyokuen who was connected to David, but someone else. It was a recent development, but it seems that Sinbad is the one connected to David’s rukh, the chapter concluding as he arrives at Balbadd.

One Piece 797

Luffy’s group heads off, while their captain goes to deal with his issue. There are Marines in the central area looking for the Straw Hats. They attempt to contact the eastern group, but they’ve apparently already been overwhelmed by the gladiators in order to cover the Straw Hats’ retreat.

We see the other gladiators and criminals standing to hold off the Marines as Zoro and Bartolomeo’s group is getting closer to the eastern port.

Luffy is at the palace, Marines reporting this as he calls for Rebecca. She sees him, calling the pirate over to the window where she’s looking out.

Riku tells Captain Tank to get Viola and Rebecca so they can announce the royal family’s return to power.

Rebecca is being shielded by soldiers as Luffy leaps at the window, asking her if she’s okay with them spreading the rumor about her father, since she might never see him again.

The gladiator princess says that she got the letter from Kyros, wondering if he’s doing this because she’s a burden to him or such. Luffy says she has to decide that, Rebecca saying she hates how this has turned out. The two leave to go to where Kyros is, the Marines in hot pursuit.

Riku is told by Tank that Rebecca’s been kidnapped, this sentiment the general interpretation of what happened by everyone besides Luffy, Viola and Rebecca. He leaves her at the hill while he distracts everyone else, so she can meet up with Kyros.

Kyros is leaving, but Rebecca manages to get to his house. She says he shouldn’t try to cover up his identity as her father. Kyros reminds her that he’s killed many people and was generally a hardened criminal, but Rebecca says that doesn’t matter. She still recognizes him as her father, even at the points where she didn’t realize who he was as a toy. Kyros wonders if she really wants him as her father, Rebecca saying that she does and they should stay together.

Viola reveals to Riku that Rebecca asked her to be princess instead, noting that Scarlet did the same thing in the past, suggesting she really took after her mother in that respect, leaving royalty behind.

The chapter ends as Bartolomeo’s group sees that Fujitora is coming, Luffy now the last person that needs to get to the eastern port for them to leave.

Bleach 639

Mayuri comments on how long it’s been since he performed a one armed operation, his work a bit shoddy compared to before.

Pernidas takes this to mean Mayuri’s less confident, but Mayuri says that may not be the case.

The Compulsory’s severed finger regenerates into a separate hand and attacks Mayuri, but he throws acid at it, stopping the assault. He’s impressed at this new trait, noting that severing it into tiny pieces won’t work

But it seems that Pernidas still has some tricks up its sleeve, noting that it’s gotten blood in its eye after willfully tearing off one of its fingers. Mayuri remembers something he read in a book about how the Soul King’s right hand is stillness, while the left hand is progress.

We see that Pernidas has now made 2 copies of himself with his regenerative powers, Mayuri ready to finish this fight by unleashing his Bankai.

Yumichika thinks it’ll be dangerous, since it releases poison, but Mayuri shows that it’s taken on a new form. He’s reconfigured it so that it changes form based on information he sends it through a battle, its appearance much more corpulent.

The new form rips out of the cocoon like form, screaming out in pain. Mayuri says that its nerves are all spread out on the surface, meaning it will suffer immensely with any contact with even the air, let alone the ground.

But as Pernidas tries to take it over, Mayuri reveals that there are 70,000 layers, so it’ll be near impossible for him to control the Bankai.

The new Ashisogi Jizou eats Pernidas, the chapter ending as Mayuri says he can try to fight it, but he’ll have to go through all those layers to have any chance.

Toriko 335

The chapter begins as we’re told about how interrelated all the events have been, from the newborn Herac Horse’s cry, the dance of the Monkey King or even Toriko awakening his Gourmet Cells 2 years ago. All of these events are suggested to be a potential impetus for the Whale King Moon awakening.

The first place where this was felt was Area 5, where Zebra and Brunch are. The forest seems to shake, but Zebra discovers with Echolocation that it’s not a forest at all, but the head of the Deer King, Sky Deer.

Sani and Livebearer see the Mother Snake, looking like a giant wall of scales in their way, while Coco and Tairan are almost hit by one of the Emperor Crow’s feathers as it flies overhead.

Toriko and Starjun encounter a King Land Shark, not quite on the Eight King’s level, but still very dangerous. Toriko’s interested in it because it’s in Jirou’s Full Course, but Starjun says he’s concerned about the Battle Wolf behind it, reminding him of Terry, which he saw in the 1st Biotope back when they were pursuing the Regal Mammoth.

Meanwhile, we find that Terry, Kiss and Quinn are all training with Bambina to get stronger, hiding away in a space that has a tiny hole noticed by Zonge and his group.

We shift to NEO’s hideout, where Nakaume is approached by Teppei, who says he’s not under Joa’s control, noting about the bacteria not affecting the chef. Before they plan their escape, Teppei wants to know what Nakaume saw in Area 1.

The chapter concludes as we see some monstrous aberration in Area 1, possibly related in some way to Acacia.

Fairy Tail 448

The guild is celebrating Makarov’s return, Erza stepping down as master, meaning Makarov is now the 8th master, having gone through this process once already with Gildartz, who left the guild in his hands.

Everyone’s catching up, people especially shocked at Laxus and the Thunder God Trio having joined Blue Pegasus, not matching what people see them as for the most part.

Mest had to calm down Sorano, since they left her behind by taking the ship that Laxus brought, Pantherlily amazed at the idea of the ship that can go underwater. Natsu and Gajeel start to bicker after it’s observed that even Wendy has started to acquire the traits other Dragonslayers have already shown, like motion sickness in vehicles.

Erza is shocked to discover Star Mangoes don’t exist in Ishgar, and Juvia apparently thinks Gray might be joining Blue Pegasus or some other misunderstanding.

Lucy thinks that things have finally gotten back to some normalcy, but remembers about the threat that lies in Alvareth, as well as Zeref’s plan to acquire Lumen Histoire.

Makarov interrupts the festivities, apologizing for breaking up Fairy Tail. The guild forgives him, thinking that he did what he thought was best and they’re all together now. But the guildmaster says that Alvareth is now motivated to attack Ishgar in full force.

Natsu says that doesn’t faze them. They’re going to fight for the sake of maintaining this happiness of everyone spending time together and that’s what will give them strength in this upcoming fight.

Makarov is happy that they’ve resolved to push forward, saying that he’ll support them as his children. Everyone’s thinking about the upcoming battle, Gray thinking about END and Mira and Lisanna saying they’ve been training as well, likely the same for the others we haven’t seen fight yet

Suddenly, Mavis appears, saying that she is here to reveal the secret behind Fairy Heart, the true name of Lumen Histoire.

The chapter ends as she says that this all connects back to her past with Zeref and something that happened back then.
