So Magi ended roughly this week in Weekly Shounen Sunday, so I’ll cover the final 2 chapters now.

Dr. Stone 33

Senkuu and the others bring back the sulfuric acid, Kohaku excited about the making of Ruri’s medicine. But Senkuu explains to her that they still need to make the other parts before they can start, planning to make it all in one go.

First they make hydrochloric acid with a special glass bottle made by Kaseki. Afterwards, they take mineral deposits Senkuu got from near the sulfuric acid lake and boil them, mixing it with the hydrochloric acid to make chlorosulfonic acid.

Using the generator, they break down saltwater to have the materials for sodium hydroxide. Each of these materials is explained by Senkuu to be something dangerous, Kohaku wondering why they’d make Ruri ingest it. But he explains that these are just for the process itself, not the parts of the medicine she’ll take.

The ammonia needed involves Senkuu and Chrome peeing into a bottle, Kohaku even more infuriated at this, still not understanding that these will help make the sulfonamide

Senkuu explains that they only have three substances remaining, but to make them, they’ll need alcohol to work backwards.

Kaseki explains that the winner of the tournament will have all of that they desire, the group excited since it starts the next day

We learn that the rules don’t prohibit Kohaku from participating again, the only limits being over 14 and unmarried in order to ascend to the position of chief.

Jasper reveals to Kokuyou that another competitor has entered, Ginrou explaining that it’s Senkuu, the two intending to help out Kinrou by throwing their matches against him.

Kinrou thinks it’s dishonorable to do so, but Kohaku doesn’t care, wanting to even the odds so they can win.

We learn that it was 5 months since Senkuu arrived and this is the first time he enters the village proper.

The chapter ends as Ruri seems to recognize Senkuu somehow, not sure exactly the method.

We Can’t Study 36

Rizu’s parents will be away for the night, her father thinking she’ll be lonely, though she rebuffs his attempts at affection.

As she heads home from summer school, Rizu hears some girls talk about a movie at the theater where she and Yuiga watched the romantic film before.

Yuiga is at home when he gets a message of Rizu which sounds like she’s in danger, rushing off on his bike

Turns out she saw a horror movie by mistake and was scared, hiding under a blanket, though she insists she’s just perturbed at her meal being tasteless so she wanted Yuiga to keep her company

Rizu’s spooked by a gust of wind, spilling her food on herself. She takes a shower, insisting that Yuiga stay nearby to make sure it’s safe, though Yuiga’s embarrassed at the proximity to a naked girl.

Suddenly, Sekijo bursts in, saying she got Rizu’s text as well, but Rizu wasn’t responding, Rizu coming out of the shower, both of them embarrassed at the situation.

Sekijo leaves, thinking that Rizu and Yuiga are romantically involved, Yuiga unable to explain the situation before she’s gone.

Rizu tells Yuiga that even if it’s only a small possibility, if aliens or ghosts exist, she should be reasonably afraid. Yuiga suggests they turn on the TV, but it shows a program investigating ghostly phenomena, Rizu clinging to Yuiga.

Fumino and Uruka come by, also getting Rizu’s text, but Fumino is the first to enter, quickly confirming voicelessly that Yuiga and Rizu aren’t doing anything improper and covering for him so Rizu isn’t embarrassed either, the two leaving for ramen.

Rizu tells Yuiga he should stay, holding her hand until she falls asleep. Yuiga thinks to himself that Rizu normally seems like a small animal or such, but he recognizes that’s she actually beautiful in her own way too. Rizu suddenly leaps into Yuiga’s arms again, her restless sleeping still bothersome

Suddenly, Rizu’s dad comes home, seeing Yuiga and her in that position. Rizu wakes up the next morning, Yuiga still holding him off as they have to explain the situation, her father forbidden from coming within 10 meters of her again as the chapter ends.

Black Clover 131

We see that both crystals were destroyed at the same time, the match a draw as Zora insults Langris and the other nobles further, saying they were too arrogant, too scared or just blowing smoke. He even admits to himself that he was in the wrong and needs to rely on his friends more, like Asta.

Asta falls unconscious as his form expends the rest of his energy, but is held up by his friends

We see that Luck and Lill’s teams are the next to fight, everyone inspired to do their best.

Lill is waiting for an opportunity, but Luck’s team combines their magic to make a massive ballista to fire a lightning arrow that they claim can’t be blocked.

Suddenly, Lill unleashes a new painting, God’s Play seemingly from his past, turning the attack back on them, shattering their crystal in an instant.

Yuno’s team is the next to fight, their match finished off panel, as expected from Yuno’s strength.

Because Asta and Langris’ match would’ve been one of the two final matches, the true final match now is between Lill and Yuno’s teams as the chapter ends on their imminent fight.

Boku no Hero Academia 158

We see Chisaki explain how Eri’s Quirk was enhanced by his research to return people to a state before the Quirk mutation evolved, rendering them Quirkless. Eri is at the center of his plan to destroy the world’s basis on Quirks.

He attacks, but Deku at 100% power, knocks him away with immense power. Deku thinks to himself that Eri’s lack of control is similar to how he was when he first used One For All’s power

Meanwhile, the clone of Compress is melting as Toga and Twice watch the fight, Uraraka taking Nighteye to the ambulance as Ryukyu throws her up through the hole

Chisaki remembers how he clashed with his boss in terms of how to repay his debt he felt he owed to them for taking him in. His resolve doesn’t change, explaining to the boss about how they can use the drugs and develop them further to make both Quirk erasing bullets and a Quirk restoring serum through the same principle of Eri’s Quirk, playing Heroes and Villains both to get them more money.

But the boss tells him to stop such thinking, wondering how he can treat humans like that. Chisaki then moves forward, saying he won’t let him stop the plans he has in mind, likely using his Quirk to put him in the state we see him in at present.

In the present, Chisaki rages at Deku saying Heroes don’t see the big picture of trying to radically change the world and focus on the tiny aspect of justice instead.

Deku attacks again, recognizing that Chisaki has a moment where he restructures himself with his Quirk, but now that he has 100% One For All’s speed, he can push past that instant and keep attacking him so he can’t regenerate. Deku emphasizes that he has to win to prove that he’s All Might’s successor.

The chapter ends as Nighteye is in shock at Deku’s power, thinking that the future he saw might have changed

Boku no Hero Academia is on break next week for Horikoshi to do research.

One Piece 883

Luffy starts to use Gear Fourth but is stopped by Katakuri, who says he won’t underestimate him. He uses his Awakened Devil Fruit to turn the Mirror World into mochi, burying Luffy under it to suffocate as he leaves, saying his snack time is already 40 minutes late

The chefs offer him the special treat as Katakuri tells them to not enter the shrine he makes out of mochi. They’re impressed at his diligence to focus himself.

Luffy bursts out of the mochi, having eaten it as he runs around to burn the calories off. He then bursts through the temple, revealing that Katakuri is actually lying on the ground eating the donuts happily, radically different from his serious self.

The Mochi Man stabs the chefs, saying no one is allowed to see his true self, moving to finish off Luffy as well, using Square Mochi to seemingly toughen and enhance his attack strength.

The two clash, Luffy’s hands hurt from the strike. He notices something as Katakuri readies his attack, suddenly kicking him, which surprises both of them that it managed to connect. Luffy claims he’s figured out that Katakuri has a method to his fighting style and that he’s not invincible.

The chapter ends as Luffy dodges the Rain Mochi attack, striking Katakuri with Gear Fourth Kong Gun.

Magi 368-9 (END)

Everyone’s still deliberating whether this is the right thing, to destroy the Magi system and the power of the Metal Vessels by association, but Alibaba and others are confident in spite of their misgivings, the older Metal Vessel users convinced that they can do this.

As Aladdin is pushed to his limits by forcing back David, we see Yunan and Titus appear to help suppress the rukh flow on the surface.

Even the Household Vessel users appear to assist in the fight, along with Magicians and others using their own abilities like Magoi manipulation to fight against the angels. Everyone’s efforts combined together shift the tide of battle.

But Aladdin is threatened by David’s upsurge of power, Sinbad intervening to protect him.

Sinbad is finally fading away, telling Aladdin that it’s better this way, that he should stand as a symbol for what happens when a single king tries to dominate everything.

But Alibaba tells Sinbad that he can’t disappear yet, that a new world without the Magi or Metal Vessels is the perfect place for an adventurer like him.

Everyone utilizes their Extreme Magics to push back David’s magic and destroy the towers, while Aladdin is assisted by the rukh, Ugo, Solomon and Sheba all providing motivation to him, the chapter ending as David is seemingly vaporized and defeated for good.

The final chapter starts with Alibaba telling Morgiana they should get married, but she brings up that things are destroyed and reconstruction should take priority, the wedding postponed for now to Alibaba’s dismay.

Alibaba explains that it’s been 2 months since the final battle, the Alibaba Trading Company assisting with the rebuilding efforts across the world.

Olba and Toto, seemingly together romantically, are flirting, others telling them to get back to work.

Remano is at the center of things, everyone from the other countries meeting together to put together a new census, a new constitution and most importantly deal with the radically changed landscape to determine new borders for the countries.

There are massive floating islands now, everything rearranged radically in regards to what should normally follow, even parts of the ocean floating in midair.

Everyone is working together now to rebuild and restore the world to some semblance of normalcy in spite of their differences.

We see Drakon has returned to his human form before assimilating with his Metal Vessel (an event that occurred in Adventures of Sinbad). He mourns the loss of Sinbad but thinks he can’t depend so much on his master

Alibaba tells Hakuryuu, Muu and Takeruhiko about his wedding being postponed, Hakuryuu thinking it was cancelled entirely, while Muu and Takeruhiko tease him that Morgiana doesn’t love him anymore.

After running away in frustration, we see Alibaba explaining things to Cassim’s grave. The magicians are searching for a way to communicate across dimensions and that with that, things will truly start to change, interacting with other worlds.

In spite of everyone being different, Alibaba thinks that’s all the more motivation to try and change things, such a thing not a problem so much as an opportunity.

As Alibaba returns home, he’s shocked to see Morgiana in her wedding dress, unable to speak about what he thinks of it to her irritation.

Aladdin says they should start the wedding, remembering how he had to part ways with Ugo and the others as he returned to the surface.

The chapter and series ends as we discover that the world opened up a great deal with the Great Rift disappearing along with the Sacred Palace, the Red Lion Fanalis in the Dark Continent appearing as well, the journey continuing onward with Alibaba and Aladdin.

A fine end to the series, though not without some flaws in rushing to an end of sorts or glossing over particular points. I’d recommend the series, especially in regards to the great intellectual and philosophical points it brings up throughout. And if you want more, then the prequel series, Adventures of Sinbad, is being scanlated by fans. Hopefully Viz may pick it up with Magi’s volumes eventually catching up to Japan’s in the next year or so.

Seven Deadly Sins 240

We see Chandler with a sizeable hole in his chest as King flashes back to meeting Meliodas, who knew that he had been falsely accused for the killing of humans that Helbram did.

King thinks Meliodas wouldn’t understand his suffering, having neglected his friends and family, even Diane. As he cries, Meliodas comments that he’s impressed, not having seen a king cry over the suffering of his subjects, saying that he’s a great king.

King remembers this as we flash forward, hoping that he’s become even better for when he reunites with Meliodas. Diane hops on King’s shoulder, still naked, to his embarrassment. But they wonder why she hasn’t returned to normal size yet or why the night is still present.

Gowther falls over, apologizing to everyone and saying that he can’t go any further.

We see that Hawk didn’t affect the seal at all, so Chandler’s Absolute Order still affected Gowther and is destroying his body, Elizabeth unable to heal his artificial body

Cusack is impressed that they managed to defeat Chandler, but observes that even Chandler’s imperfect strength was enough to cause them a loss as well

Zeldris says that Cusack doesn’t know Chandler that well; stating that he maintains that façade of a kind natured old man, but if he realizes that he can’t bring Meliodas back, his true nature comes out and no one can stop him then.

Chandler stands up, his wounds healing with demonic energy and his portly body enhancing with muscles. He even pulls out an exceptionally long sword from his cane.

King tells the others to leave as he holds Chandler back with Chastiefol’s Bumblebee form. He insists that Ban and the others can’t help him and that he’d rather sacrifice himself to serve as a fitting end for him as a king, Diane calling out to him as she’s pulled away.

Chandler unleashes an attack, breaking Chastiefol as a massive explosion results.

However, we see that King is still alive, Gloxinia and Dolor appearing to help King, saying that a ruler can ask for help occasionally. They vow to protect Meliodas and Elizabeth, their old friends from 3000 years ago

The chapter ends as the former Fairy and Giant King face off against Chandler’s new form, ready to serve as the foundation for the Seven Deadly Sins to save the world.

Dr. Stone 32

Wasn’t intuitive before, but the giant tubes on Senkuu and Chrome’s backs weren’t extra containers for sulfuric acid, but part of the primitive gas mask apparatus at large, the activated charcoal and potassium carbonate serving to filter the gas as it comes in there

Ginrou is panicking at the idea of going back to the sulfuric acid lake, his silver spear turning black even worse to him than the birds dying.

But Senkuu assures him they can fix it, rubbing some alkali on it to remove the blackening from the hydrogen sulfide

As they arrive, Chrome suddenly realizes more explicitly how dangerous the situation is, where breathing even a bit of the gas means death

Meanwhile, Senkuu just goes ahead, telling Chrome that worrying will make him perspire more, which will negatively affect the ability of the gas masks to purify.

Chrome understands, but thinks Senkuu’s still being overly fearless. He notices, however, that Senkuu’s hand is shaking and sweating, both of them pushing past their fear and entering the area to collect the acid

Shifting back to the village, Ginrou is complaining about how he has to stay behind, saying Senkuu and Chrome are crazy to try this plan.

Kaseki says that Ginrou seems to be projecting his own self loathing onto them, since he’s safe, but is nonetheless insulting those who were willing to risk their lives.

He notes that a leader doesn’t have weakness, that such a thing is innate to people, since someone who responds to their fear is more likely to survive, such as from predators. But he also says that everyone seeks to not be a coward.

Ginrou thinks that’s probably true, noting to himself how Kinrou is willing to fight Magma even with his blurry vision.

Kaseki explains that reason and heart can overcome such fears, Ginrou remembering Kohaku when she asked them to save Ruri.

We see that Kaseki made an extra gas mask, leaving it aside as a hint to Ginrou, who seems to be willing to help Senkuu and Chrome now

Shifting back to the sulfuric acid lake, Senkuu’s tube for his gas mask is about to break, Chrome warning him as he quickly fixes it.

But then Chrome has suddenly slipped, about to fall into the sulfuric acid lake. It seems like he won’t make it, but Ginrou rushes onto the scene, saving him by extending his spear out so Chrome can grab on.

Ginrou is breathing heavily in his panic, Senkuu telling him to control his breathing so he can win against fear and allow the gas mask to last longer.

Chrome encourages Ginrou by saying that nature, while powerful, has no heart or mind to use, humans able to fight by focusing their will to defeat fear that nature inspires.

Ginrou then pulls Ginrou back with a second wind of strength, the chapter ending as they acquire sulfuric acid.

We Can’t Study 35

Rizu, Uruka and Yuiga are studying, Rizu leaving to help out at the udon shop. With Uruka and Yuiga alone, they have an awkward tension between them.

Yuiga confides this with Fumino, trying to say it’s about his friend when it’s clearly about Uruka. Fumino wonders about how to solve this, since she wants to support Uruka romantically as well as Rizu.

Uruka also tells Fumino about her concerns, thinking that maybe the guy’s feelings were hurt, just wanting things to be normal like they were before and not having to lie about liking someone else because of how he’s focusing on studies now.

The next day, after Uruka’s swim practice, she’s with Yuiga, the two of them still having that unease between them going on.

Fumino is nearby in disguise as the two remember that she said they could text her for help.

She says to bring up a common friend to start a conversation, the two talking about Asumi’s family clinic and how unusual it was.

Uruka blurts out about how embarrassing it was when they got rained on and the girls’ tops were see-through. Fumino reacts as well, the two almost realizing it was her, but her bra pads make her seem too different from behind.

They tell Fumino about how things took a bad turn again, Fumino moving onto another strategy, though bringing up school supplies and shrines just reminds Yuiga and Uruka of awkward moments connected to them, like a pencil bag being mixed up with Uruka’s used swimsuit and the sexual tension at the shrine when Uruka was trying to be more forward

Fumino asks Uruka about the girl and if she wants the guy to like her, Uruka confessing that she does like the guy and just wants things to go back to normal for now, willing to wait for Yuiga to finish exams, though she still insists it’s not her but her friend.

Fumino then gets a text from Sawako asking about which hairstyle Rizu would like more (seemingly pushing more hints that Sawako may have a crush on Rizu that have been throughout the series), confusing the two texts and mistakenly sending one to Sawako instead of Uruka, wanting her to be upfront about her crush on Yuiga so they can maintain their friendship.

Yuiga seemingly got the text regarding Sawako’s hair question, complimenting Uruka’s hairstyle. This makes her happy, asking him to say it again and again, Yuiga noticing that the tension is disappearing.

The chapter ends as we see that Fumino’s changed her hairstyle, seemingly developing her own feelings for Yuiga more clearly, Sawako confronting Rizu to say she doesn’t have romantic feelings for her at all, wanting to be friends, since Fumino sent her the message meant for Uruka

Black Clover 130

Langris isn’t fazed by Zora reflecting his attack back, his own magic power surging as he unleashes a counter and negates the empowered magic to everyone’s shock.

He mocks them, saying he’s truly superior to them and that their efforts were for nothing.

But Asta, his black antimagic form manifest, rushes in front of Zora, saying his actions weren’t in vain.

Langris still insists that he is beyond them, Asta acknowledging that he is special with the spatial magic he possesses rare even among nobles. He even admired the Magic Knights, similar to Zora’s father, but he also says that nobles like him shouldn’t ignore the efforts that lesser people like him have put in.

Asta reminds him that everyone here shares a common goal of wanting to protect the people and trained to become stronger so they could join the Royal Knights and protect the Clover Kingdom.

Langris ignores this, telling him that he’s just a nuisance as he readies another attack.

But Asta counters, his antimagic form negating Langris’ abilities easily as he also slashes the crystal in half, the chapter ending with his victory.

Boku no Hero Academia 157

Major additions for last chapter: something I didn’t even notice at first was that Eri was also forcing Nemoto out of Chisaki’s body, reverting him to the form he had before. Also, Mr. Compress was how Toga and Twice got out, using his Quirk to compress the area so it would make holes to slowly create an opening. This means Twice’s Quirk definitely doesn’t require touch at all, so he wasn’t lying in regards to his Quirk just needing precise information about the target to duplicate them.

Deku reaches out for Eri as Eri does the same, clinging to him, her Quirk seemingly healing him to his surprise.

Chisaki moves to get her back, Deku not able to counter as well in midair. But he still insists he won’t give up Eri, remembering how Mirio asked him what kind of Hero he wanted to be, Deku saying he wanted to be someone who saved others and never lost

Deku moves to kick with One For All’s power, Chisaki manifesting more earth spikes. But Deku and Eri suddenly disappear unexpectedly, a massive shockwave following as Deku and Eri reappear aboveground.

Deku wonders if he overused One For All’s power, but his legs are fine, suggesting Eri’s power may be involved in some way

Chisaki wonders if Eri somehow learned to use her Quirk, saying he needs her as he moves to fuse himself with Rikiya

Ochako and the others hear from Nighteye that they need to save Deku, since he’s the target of Chisaki’s attacks. But Nighteye warns them that they can’t win even if all of them fight Chisaki together

Ochako says they won’t know unless they try. Nighteye tells Tsuyu to go where Mirio is and asks Ryukyu and Ochako to help him to the surface

Deku realizes his injuries are healed, thinking it must be Eri’s power. It starts to negatively affect him, Chisaki telling him as much.

We see that Chisaki’s new form is monstrous, more animalistic than before, multiple arms branching out and his true body in the mouth of Rikiya’s fused part of the body

Chisaki says as long as Deku holds onto Eri, she’ll revert him further, that he’s the only one who can stop it.

But Deku thinks that as long as he’s accumulating injuries like before when he used 100%, Eri’s power will keep him safe

The chapter ends as Deku manifests Full Cowl 100%, asking Eri for her assistance.

One Piece 882

Katakuri tells Luffy that many people die against their will, not because they desire to as he moves towards him.

Brulee appears behind Luffy, praising her brother’s strength, claiming he’s never been defeated and never has even laid his back on the ground.

Luffy moves to punch her, but Katakuri grabs him before he makes contact, slamming him into the wall

He stabs with his spear, even rapidly spinning it as Luffy narrowly dodges. But even as he dodges, the sheer impact causes massive damage behind him.

Katakuri explains that the spear is named Mogura, referring to a mole, also known as an earth dragon in Japanese. He says he’ll take Luffy’s parts one by one starting with his eyes, Brulee wanting him to take his neck first

Brulee thinks to herself that she knows about Luffy’s discussion with Nami due to her Mirror Mirror powers. She tells this to Perospero, who’s in shock at this revelation.

He tries to tell Big Mom, but she doesn’t listen, heading to Nuts Island instead of Cacao Island, ignoring his explanation about the wedding cake being made at the latter location

Meanwhile, Luffy is still fighting Katakuri, narrowly dodging his attacks to the Mochi Man’s irritation, since normally his Observation Haki and general power allows him to easily defeat an opponent. We see that Katakuri’s Devil Fruit is Awakened, like Doflamingo’s, as he turns the ground to mochi.

Luffy is about to initiate Gear Fourth, Katakuri seeing as such in the future to his interest

Mont D’or is confused as to why the sea slugs in the area haven’t communicated the new location of the Thousand Sunny, telling Pekoms to stop crying about Pedro’s death.

Tamago offers his condolences to the Mink for the loss of his brother. He thinks they need to be vigilant and not underestimate Luffy and the Straw Hats, since many unusual things have happened since they arrived.

The Minister of Custard reports, saying that the sea slugs haven’t reported for them either on Bege’s ship, Mont D’or telling people to go and check the sea floor immediately.

Bege’s ship, the Nostra Castello, is heading towards Cacao Island to rescue Chiffon, taking advantage of the situation with the sea slugs and Den Den Mushi communication issues.

Mont D’or receives communication from Nusstorte, who was pursuing Germa, telling him that they defeated them all, preserving the cloning technology.

But as the chapter ends with Mont D’or rejoicing at this, we see that Germa 66, seemingly just the forces of Ichiji, Niji, Yonji and Reiju, managed to defeat Big Mom’s forces and Ichiji is deceiving them as to where the Straw Hats are heading.

Magi 367

Sinbad justifies his choice of Alibaba by saying that he has the potential of crossing dimensions with his previous experience.

But Kouen disagrees with this plan, saying they should just destroy the towers. Sinbad retorts that such a thing, even if it were possible, would create a new problem: the Magi system, as well as the Djinn and Metal Vessels, would cease to exist.

With the lack of even the distinction of those that have hatred towards destiny being classified into the black rukh flow, chaos would ensue

In order to prevent this, they should seal the towers in a different dimension rather than destroy them and they can only do that by combining the Metal Vessels’ powers

Muu thinks to himself that Reim couldn’t sustain itself without the Magi system that aided them for the last 2 centuries

The others think similarly, that if they destroyed the Magi system, the world would regress to a point before it was remotely unified under the International Alliance. So their sacrifice could lead to a single King unifying the world after the chaos

Arba notes that they’re really just changing God from Sinbad to Alibaba, but thinks it might be best if they had someone the others trusted.

The others also think that it’d be best, Sinbad telling Alibaba they’re counting on him, but he refuses.

He explains that even if he weren’t to become a dictator, the world could still become chaotic again in some other way. Living based on what others expect of you only works so long as they’re aiding you, but when you lose that assistance, it starts to crumble

Alibaba says they need to decide what to do as individuals, everyone thinking that they were ruled by the expectations of people they admired in the past. He even says he falls short compared to Sinbad, Kouen and others in motivating the various countries as a leader.

Hakuryuu and Judar agree, thinking they need to confront the problem directly instead of just avoiding them with a quick solution like this.

Kougyoku and Morgiana also agree, wanting to solve things as a group.

Alibaba emphasizes that everyone, regardless of their standing, can contribute to things in this world, remembering how his friend Cassim said as much

Everyone in this world will aid in making it better, Aladdin manifesting all the Rukh, both black and white as the chapter ends with the group moving to finish things once and for all

Seven Deadly Sins 239

Chandler says such an idea of Meliodas needing allies that aren’t Demons is ridiculous, launching Grudge Blade at them, which King counters with Chastiefol. He then sends the spear at him, which Chandler Full Counters back, King managing to block it as well with the spear’s form of multiple blades, which the Demon is impressed at.

King is confident that he can fight well in this kind of battle, the others ready to defend Meliodas and Elizabeth as well.

Chandler comments that his magic is less than half now because of Gowther’s attack, meaning this is almost a fair fight in his opinion with that handicap on his side.

The group rushes him, saying that Meliodas needs Elizabeth even though Chandler claims otherwise. Diane emphasizes this as she punches Chandler, her small form seemingly not negating her strength that much.

But Chandler stops her in midair, suddenly grabbed from behind by Ban, who takes King’s rain of blades along with Chandler.

Ban still berates himself for being so cold to Meliodas, acting like his suffering was greater than the person he called his best friend.

Chandler isn’t fazed much, even knocking Ban away and slicing off his limbs temporarily, saying his immortality doesn’t mean much in this battle or against his immense power.

The Demon clashes again with King, one attack managing to get through and hit Elizabeth’s shoulder.

Diane asks why Chandler is being so reckless, since he could kill Meliodas too, but Chandler retorts that Meliodas is stronger than that, so he doesn’t have to worry.

Ban tries to attack again but is blasted away by Chandler as he did back when he fought Hendricksen as a Demon

Gowther still can’t act, the seal on Chandler’s right hand the key to it, which Hawk hears, thinking he has to do something.

King is pushed back, nearly unable to stand as Hawk suddenly starts to lick Chandler’s right hand, trying to get rid of the seal, though Chandler just smacks him away

King and the others are healed by Elizabeth with the threat of Chandler looming on them, Elizabeth saying she won’t let them be hurt anymore.

Chandler tries to attack again, but he’s managed to be affected by Gowther, the seal on his right hand seemingly distorted by Hawk in some way.

King lets loose a massive attack that seemingly defeats Chandler as the chapter ends with the Fairy King exhausted from the fight
