Must’ve missed the detail that World Trigger is off this week. Shonen Jump didn’t mention it either. Also, Magi is on break next week, so we’ll only be short one series next week, thankfully

Seven Deadly Sins 82

Hendricksen is enraged, attacking Gil for his betrayal, Gilthunder responding he was never on his side to begin with, shocking the other Holy Knight. Gil dodges Hendricksen’s attack, knocking him away. He tells Meliodas he’ll take care of the rest, having waited 10 years for this; to avenge his father’s death by defeating his murderer.

The masked Holy Knight wonders how long Meliodas knew, the Sin of Wrath responding it was a while ago, roughly when they first met Diane after the Sins split up, very early in the series, relatively speaking. And he figured out about Margaret just recently. She was a hostage, presumably of the masked Holy Knight and killing the beast nullified the curse that was preventing Gil from betraying Hendricksen.

Meliodas figured that since Gil wouldn’t betray his sense of justice if it was just his life in danger, someone else had to be involved.

The Knight’s Creed is important to Gil, because it’s the path he chose, seeking to be as strong as Meliodas and his father. Margaret encouraged him back then, Meliodas even joking that she was the more assertive one in their “relationship”

Later, Gil tells Meliodas on Kingdom Founding Day that something is going to happen to the Sins, but he can’t tell them what. Meliodas calms him down, encouraging him with a charm in the form of a mantra; to say that he’s stronger than any of the Seven Deadly Sins. Gil saying this recently hinted to Meliodas that Gil was under pressure from somewhere.

The masked Holy Knight is astonished, since Meliodas was going all out, Meliodas responding that he had to respond in kind to Gil’s resolve.

Gilthunder attacks Hendricksen, stabbing him through the gut and unleashing his full power, slamming him into a cliff nearby.

King, Diane and the others notice the power and that the fighting has ceased, thinking Meliodas might be in danger. But Meliodas, Gilthunder and Margaret all appear, the chapter ending as Meliodas tells the others they have to save Elizabeth.

I doubt Hendricksen will go out like that, especially since he’s likely got a backup plan or a trump card involving the Demon Clan and its blood that he likely ingested.

Magi 230

Solomon tells the others they have to stop David, saying he must be at the Cathedral District.

Meanwhile, David and some of his underlings are attacking a village protected by Solomon’s staves. Solomon and his group find him and they clash. Solomon demands to know why they attacked, David saying they were offering a great quantity of magoi to Ill Ilah for the anniversary of his descent. He emphasizes that he personally killed Setta, stripping him of his flesh and bones, killing him slowly.

Solomon is enraged, attacking David with immense magic. The others also attack, but each volley is knocked aside by David, even causing collateral damage. David declares that the Resistance must all be offered to God, including the species that allied with them.

Solomon responds they don’t need such a God, attacking David and directing his magic to attack the other Orthodox members, who start a ritual to self destruct themselves and take everyone with them. But Solomon moves to push them out of range, the Orthodoxy pushing back against him.

David and Solomon talk, Solomon inquiring about David’s motivations. David responds that all of this was destined and that he will now become one with God. He moves towards Solomon, an explosion knocking Solomon out.

The chapter ends as we see David gave Solomon his staff, hoping that he might be able to change things, since David despaired at his destiny, which he hopes Solomon will not seek out through magic. As noted earlier, Magi’s on break next week.

Naruto 682

Naruto and Sasuke plan to use “that” jutsu, something I think was hinted at early on after the timeskip by Jiraiya. Black Zetsu thinks it’s useless, since Kaguya is the originator of all chakra.

Naruto’s Shadow Clone talks to Kakashi and Sakura about the situation, thinking they have to take a gamble in this situation.

Sasuke’s a bit unsure of whether it’ll work, but Naruto convinces him, Sasuke using the Amaterasu to distract Kaguya, Naruto unleashing his Reverse Harem jutsu, summoning numerous Shadow Clones, then turning them into naked men. Sakura’s astonished, thinking this is an insane idea, but Naruto thinks there’s a pattern that the stronger the person, the more likely it’ll work (technically it did work on the 3rd Hokage in the early chapters).

Naruto punches Kaguya, he and Sasuke making a pincer formation to use their sealing technique. But before it can land, Kaguya transports them to a new location, the sheer cold freezing them in blocks of ice

Kaguya pulls back, Sasuke getting him and Naruto out of the ice with Amaterasu and a Kagutsuchi technique.

Sasuke and Naruto, concluding the Sexy Jutsu failed, agree to use Sasuke’s plan.

Black Zetsu suggests that they separate Naruto and Sasuke, taking them out individually. Kaguya agrees, summoning a gateway, pulling Sasuke through it from behind, into a desert world as the chapter ends.

One Piece 751

Bastille tells the other Marines to stop attacking, since he knows Sabo is now a Logia. But even without using these powers, Sabo can crush a bazooka with his bare hands. Bastille tries to attack, but Sabo’s Dragon Talon technique breaks his Shark Cutter Sword. As Sabo’s about to crush Bastille’s helmet, Fujitora attacks with his Devil Fruit, the meteor barely able to get through Bird Cage, sliced into pieces, the attack range much wider, which concerns Fujitora as a Marine.

Sabo has burned Bastille, not quite killing him. Fujitora confirms that Sabo, Ace and Luffy are sworn blood brothers, Sabo saying that he will always come to Luffy’s aid, no matter what the situation. They clash as the scene moves elsewhere.

Luffy, Abdullah, Jeet and Ushi meet up with Cavendish and the others. The Funk Brothers find Luffy, telling him they’ve found a passage that’ll take them right to the Sunflower Fields near the Palace. Abdullah and Jeet fall off Ushi as Luffy goes through the tunnel.

Luffy’s Den Den Mushi rings, Robin contacting them about finding the key to Trafalgar’s cuffs. The group plan to meet up, but the chapter ends as Luffy find that the tunnel is a dead end and Doflamingo has appeared in the entrance.

Toriko 282

Branch laughs at Zebra, who was given the dessert in his Full Course in exchange for spying on some female Daruma’s conversation. Zebra wonders why anyone with the Hermit title seems to be a pervert.

The two arrive at Stardust Hill, where Meteor Rain of various sizes constantly falls.

Melk explains in a flashback that they need to take 4 different routes, aiming for the Slow Rain Hills. The reason is because when the Gourmet World enters Night, the weather becomes especially dangerous. They have to get to the center of Area 8 and they’ll each have a team with one Heavenly King in it to spread out the power accordingly.

To help them, they have the three present Gourmet World Beast Warriors: the blue oni, Dinner, a saiseiya, Nosh, a kappa bishokuya, and Branch, a tengu chef. Mappy will also help, since he was previously a Gourmet World Beast Warrior.

The Daruma Hermit, as per his nature, easily changes his level of enthusiasm, from high to virtually nothing, encouraging them strongly one moment and then saying they might have a chance.

Sani’s teamed up with Nosh, the two of them faced with Laser Rain. Coco is with Dinner, the pair talking about how the other civilizations in Gourmet World failed, the Hex Food world surviving by their enthusiasm. The Poison Cloud rain is the challenge for these two.

Mappy, Toriko and Komatsu discuss the process for acquiring Acacia’s Full Course: you have to get it in a specific order or the other parts of Gourmet World won’t be open.

Toriko reacts with extreme fear, Mappy revealing that they’re at the nest of Horse King Heracles. In order for these civilizations in Gourmet World to prosper, they had to offer a sacrifice in order to maintain the protection of the King of each continent. The chapter ends as Mappy says he’ll be offering himself as a sacrifice so they can hopefully proceed to capture AIR.

Bleach 586

Bazz B and Renji’s groups square off, Bazz B realizing there’s not even enough for 1 on 1. He asks if any of them are Special War Powers and when it’s revealed there are none in this group, he moves to get past them, but Ikkaku and Rukia send the point home that they have to go through them to get to Ichigo.

Liltotto says they should go Vollstandig in order to catch up to Ichigo, everyone agreeing as the two groups move to fight.

Ichigo, meanwhile, is rushing towards Juhabach, who motions for Jugram to attack. But Uryuu intervenes, attacking Ichigo instead. The Soul Reaper/Quincy hybrid is shocked at his old friend attacking him, Uryuu telling him to leave, that he cannot defeat Juhabach.

But Ichigo insists that he needs to know why Uryuu is with Vandenreich, Uryuu responding by unleashing a rain of arrows. Orihime and Chad appear, Orihime having blocked the attack from hitting Ichigo.

Juhabach tells Uryuu to come with him, asking if he’s truly bid goodbye to his friends, since he’ll never see them again once they go to the Soul Palace. Uryuu says he has and the chapter ends as the three fly into the air, Ichigo yelling at Uryuu.

Fairy Tail 390

The chapter begins with a flashback to Gray’s past, when his family was killed by Deliora, including his father.

We return to the present where Silver insists he is Gray’s father, Gray attacking him, but Silver knocking the attack aside. Gray keeps attacking, but each strike is blocked and he’s thrown back. Silver says that he is indeed Gray’s father, but things are more complicated than before, Silver now part of what he calls a greater existence, destined to fight.

Natsu, Gajeel and Juvia are all fighting their opponents as well: Natsu and Gajeel try to throw Torafusa and Tempesta into each other, but they break the tag team apart and throw them into the wall, Juvia slashed by Keith. Lucy wants to help, but Natsu says they can take them on without her, that she should rest.

Gajeel and Natsu observe that they’ve smelled Rogue and Sting for a while as the scene shifts to them. As Sting and Rogue attack Marde, he begins to understand why Kyouka wanted to fight with them, since they were so unaware, in his view, of how weak they were compared to demons, fighting with pure willpower. He things it’s pathetic, seemingly preparing to unleash his full power, since he wasn’t being serious up until now.

Erza, Minerva, Frosch (I called him Fro last chapter, I forgot) and Lector meet with Happy and Pantherlily, Minerva recognizes the mushroom and who it is, ripping it, with some pain from Happy, off his head. She thinks Franmalth will know where the control room is.

Back at Gray and Silver’s fight, Silver explains that his body is just a vessel, meaning Gray’s father is actually dead and the demon is just using Silver’s body, since he happened to see it. Silver is, in fact, Deliora, the demon that caused Gray’s teacher, Ur, to sacrifice herself. Deliora was revived as Silver in Hell’s Core back at Tartaros.

The chapter ends on this revelation and Gray’s determination to end this once and for all, Keith saying that the son may meet the same fate as his father.

Seven Deadly Sins 81

We continue the fight where we left off, with a color page to start things, showing the Holy Knight is wearing a metal mask.

Elsewhere, the lightning strikes are frightening the citizens, but Margaret is moving towards the battlefield. She thinks to herself that Gil has changed from when they were children and he promised to protect her on his pride as a knight. She feels especially bad he’s attacking Meliodas, the person he respected the most as a hero.

Gil attacks Meliodas with an enhanced attack from the masked Holy Knight’s magic after Hendricksen smashed the Sin of Wrath into a building.

The shockwave reaches King’s group, Gowther confirming that all three of Meliodas’ opponents are Great Holy Knight class.

Gil and the masked Holy Knight are astounded that Meliodas’ power is still growing, Hendricksen thinking this is because he intends to focus all his strength into one attack.

Margaret continues to run towards the battle as both sides prepare to attack. Gil, Hendricksen and the masked knight send their attacks at Meliodas, but he dodges, seemingly targeting Margaret. But it turns out there was a monster behind her.

Meliodas is hit by the attack from the masked Holy Knight and Hendricksen prepares to finish him off. But his arm is cut off by Gilthunder, who thanks Meliodas for freeing him from the curse that was placed on him (either by Margaret or the Masked Holy Knight) as the chapter ends.

Magi 229

We resume on David’s attack on Solomon’s base, while Solomon and most of his allies are trapped. Ugo explains that they’re surrounded by a Borg made with an immense amount of Magoi, making it impenetrable. Falan starts to despair about Tess, but Solomon assures her they’ll save her and everyone else.

Solomon says they should be able to turn it off, since it’s a defensive spell, but Ugo says it’s impossible to deactivate, since the complexity of the magic took centuries to build up, something on the level of David’s skill would be required to understand it.

Ugo is encouraged by Solomon, who says that Ugo’s genius is what allowed them to make leaps and bounds in magic theory, Ugo agreeing as they begin to utilize the circuits and break down the formulae. Solomon continues to support Ugo, who begins to grasp it more and more. Ugo sees Solomon as amazing, encouraging people to find the good parts of themselves when they cannot see them.

Solomon thinks to himself that Ugo is more amazing than he thinks, able to imagine things of greater magnitude than all the power David or Solomon could manifest.  They break down the barrier, flying towards the base.

But it’s too late, everyone killed. Tess is barely alive, dying in Falan’s arms. The chapter ends on her anguished scream, hinting she might fall into despair.

World Trigger 64

Yuma and Jin square off against Hyuse and Viza, but Hyuse fires a blast at Chika. Osamu blocking it, Jin telling him and Kyosuke to retreat directly to the base. Viza says he’ll stop them from running, but Yuma reveals he placed Chain traps around Viza when he kicked him, stopping his movement. Jin then activates Escudo, creating a wall of shields behind them so the Neighbors can’t catch up to Osamu and Chika.

Jin and Yuma try to decide who’ll fight who, remembering Reiji’s analysis of Hyuse and Viza’s Triggers. Viza and Hyuse debate whether they’ll tag team or fight separately. It’s decided that Yuma will take on Viza and Jin Hyuse, Hyuse saying he has a backup plan, since Osamu has some of his shards imbedded in his arm.

Yuma starts to fight Viza, throwing him into the air with a Chain. But Viza starts to counterattack: he didn’t realize, however, that Yuma places Anchor Triggers on his Organon, slowing down the blades so that he understands the attack pattern. Yuma then combines the Anchor with a Bolt attack, weighing Viza down like Miwa did and plunging him to the ground. Viza discerns that when he cut the Chains, the Anchor traps on his Organon were activated.

Yuma asks why Aftokrator is targeting Meeden, since they could get people with Trion from closer nations. Viza replies that they are and since Meeden is much tougher, they have to calculate their manpower more. Yuma’s still confused, but Viza says it’d be pointless to explain, since Yuma would still oppose them.

The chapter ends on Jin and Hyuse fighting, Hyuse’s attacks missing Jin and Jin thinking that the worst future for Chika and Osamu still isn’t going away.

Naruto 681

Sasuke’s attack failed, Sasuke knocked back and falling into the lava. But he appears behind Naruto, his new powers allowing him to move at Body Flicker speed.

Kaguya appears behind them from a portal, teleporting herself through spacetime and looks at Naruto and Sasuke, weeping as they seem like her sons in her vision. She starts to drain away their chakra, Black Zetsu attaching himself to them and saying that it’s a bittersweet moment that Kaguya has to kill what are like her sons to achieve her goal.

Black Zetsu explains that he sealed Kaguya in himself. While Hagoromo sealed the Ten Tails in the moon and divided the chakra amongst the Bijuu, Black Zetsu preserved Kaguya’s will in himself and created the story of the ninja over the generations to bring forth Kaguya’s resurrection.

He continues to explain, saying that Kaguya was the Ten Tails, along with the body of the Divine Tree. Being sealed away caused her to bear Black Zetsu so she could be revived again. She doesn’t entirely want to gain all chakra, though that seems to be her goal. According to Black Zetsu, she wanted to give the chakra equally between her children. Perhaps now that goal has been corrupted.

Black Zetsu started this conflict when Indra was denied the succession of Ninshu to his brother, and he even altered the stone tablet and what it said of the nature of the Infinite Tsukuyomi, using the Uchiha as his pawns. He continued to use them and the Senju to try to unite the chakra, hoping Madara would be able to accomplish this.

After Madara was defeated by Hashirama, Black Zetsu took the corpse, Madara acquiring Izanagi in a similar way to Sasuke acquiring Amaterasu from Itachi, reviving his body and replacing it with a Shadow Clone as a fake corpse.

He unlocked the Rinnegan and summoned the Gedou Mazou. White Zetsu was part of this outcome as well, though it seems like this was also part of Black Zetsu’s machinations, since they’re technically people trapped in a previous Infinite Tsukuyomi from Kaguya, absorbed into the Gedou Mazou and brought out by Black Zetsu.

Kabuto being shown Madara’s corpse, Obito’s being twisted into darkness, Black Zetsu passing himself as Madara’s will, the creation of Akatsuki, all of this was in order to create a state of war and with the chakra from the Infinite Tsukuyomi, Kaguya was finally revived.

Black Zetsu returns to Kaguya, who states she hates Naruto and Sasuke, wanting to return Hagoromo and Hamura to her. But Naruto insists that Kaguya isn’t a good mother, since her children gaining independence should make her happy, but she’s trying to take them back. The chapter ends as Naruto and Sasuke emphasize they have to seal her with their combined power.

One Piece 750

Luffy’s fellow fighters from the coliseum all rush to take on Doflamingo, trying to get to the Royal Palace. Baby 5 notes that there are 4 major groups: Zoro and Pica are one, while Luffy, Law and Zoro are another going against Machvise, Derringer, Baby 5, Gladios and Lao G. The Coliseum army is going up against the Marines, Kyros as well.

Usopp’s group is meeting up with Viola and King Riku. Riku wonders why Viola wants to help Law and the others, Viola responding that she thinks they’re the only ones who can free this country. She calls the World Government and Marines hypocrites, only listening when it benefits them and not when there is suffering like what Doflamingo has caused.

Rebecca volunteers to take the key to Luffy, Kabu, Leo and Viola supporting her. The Tontatta troops split up, the majority going to help Franky at the SMILE Factory.

Franky prepares to fire his Radical Beam at the Factory, but is stopped by Senor Pink, who suplexes him, making the beam miss.

Derringer, meanwhile, is confused as to how the Coliseum army got past the Marines and is climbing up the new landscape to the Royal Palace. Luffy is also getting closer.

The chapter ends as we see that Sabo is holding off all the Marines, taking out a good portion of them already and preparing to fight Fujitora and the others

Bleach 585

We begin with the light that surprised Ichigo, who wonders what it is. Juhabach speaks, his voice reaching Ichigo somehow. He says Ichigo was the one who led them to the light. This is explained further as Juhabach credits Ichigo with allowing them to be able to invade the Soul Palace.

The clothes Ichigo is wearing are also called the King’s Key, like the special item Aizen was trying to create. This King’s Key clothing is made from the bones and hairs of the Royal Guard. This allows them to pierce through the72 barriers separating Seireitei and the Soul Palace. It has amazing defensive power, but because of its ability to break through the barriers (though one would think Renji and Rukia, along with Byakuya, would’ve done this as well unless it wasn’t made from the same materials or Ichigo’s power specifically broke it) the barriers cannot be closed for another 6000 seconds, 100 minutes.

As Ichigo moves to stop Juhabach, Meninas grabs him and slams him into a wall, pushing him through several buildings. Ichigo gets away, but Nanana attacks, Ichigo narrowly dodging. The mustached Quincy who attacked Shunsui in the first invasion (still not named) attacks, Ichigo also dodging and countering. But Bazz B appears behind Ichigo preparing to attack.

But just before he can unleash Burner Finger, an attack knocks them apart. It’s Renji, who tells Ichigo he’ll hold off the Quincy. The other Quincy chase after Ichigo, but Byakuya’s Senbonzakura appears, the chapter ending as he, Rukia, Ikkaku, Yumichika and Hisagi all appear to hold them back.

Fairy Tail 389

Erza’s confused as to why Sting and Rogue are here, Sting explaining that she sent them a letter after she found out Minerva joined a dark guild. It took them a while, but they wanted to help their guildmate.

Marde says their reunion will be short lived, since all magic will disappear from this world. Erza counters by saying Face is destroyed, but Sting and Rogue confirm Marde’s response that only one was destroyed. In one hour, according to Marde, about 3000 magic pulse bombs will wipe out all magic on the continent.

Minerva says he’s bluffing, since they can’t remotely activate all 3. Marde responds that it’s true that only the chairman could do that, but they have a necromancer in their guild: Keith. Once they revive him, he’ll activate it. Sting and Rogue tell Erza to stop him, taking Minerva, Fro and Lector while they handle Marde.

Marde thinks they don’t stand a chance against him, the two Dragonslayers not able to land a solid blow on him as Erza’s group retreats. The pair try to tag team attack him, but each attack is dodged or blocked, Marde unleashing a powerful attack that causes massive destruction in the area. Marde thinks it’s pathetic for humans to try to use Dragonslayer magic, Sting and Rogue saying that they won’t forgive people who attack their friends.

We move to Gray and Silver’s fight, where Gray has learned about the 3000 Face weapons remaining. Silver moves on, saying he didn’t just bring him here to tell him that: he wants to see Gray despair before he kills him. Gray recalls Silver, but he insists that the voice he remembers is someone else, Silver a stranger to him. The chapter ends on this mystery of their relationship

Seven Deadly Sins 80

Threader pushes past the knights that are stopping him under the orders of the Holy Knights. He tries to slash through the door, but the attack is reflected back at him, the mysterious Holy Knight explaining that it’s a Perfect Cube, not allowing any attack in. The King tells Threader to not be so reckless, that he cares about him as a comrade, but Threader insists on trying to get in through by force even with the damage sustained.

The Holy Knight looks towards where Gil and Meliodas are fighting, thinking it’s a stalemate, but realizes Gil’s actually being pressed by Meliodas. Elizabeth insists Meliodas will win in spite of the Holy Knight thinking otherwise. Meliodas sends a wave of slashes at Gil as he knocks him off the tower. It looks like Meliodas may be able to win, but Hendricksen attacks him from behind, Meliodas barely able to dodge.

Hendricksen has managed to defeat Arthur, but he’s more interested in his partner, who just watched, neither supporting nor attacking Hendricksen to aid Arthur.

Gil and Hendricksen tag team Meliodas, giving him some problems.

Arthur is frustrated he couldn’t help, but his ally says that he did well and should use Meliodas’ fight as an example for when he takes over Britannia.

Meliodas seems to be keeping Gil and Hendricksen at bay, Hendricksen impressed and summoning the mysterious Holy Knight, who appears behind Meliodas.

After being frozen in an ice spell and breaking out, Meliodas is knocked back by Hendricksen, Gil preparing to attack, but Meliodas tries to push him back. He unleashes Iron Hammer of the Thunder Emperor again, Meliodas trying to Full Counter, but the Holy Knight bends the attack to strike Meliodas. The chapter ends as the three of them prepare to defeat Meliodas.

Magi 228

Setta is supporting the rear of the base, Tess regretful that she got angry at her parents. He comforts her, saying they should believe in them and provide the healing support they can as the battle progresses.

The group sees that the Cathedral District is surrounded by an Isolation Barrier. Solomon’s group presses forward, ready to finish off the Elder Council and David with their 12 Divine Staves. Sheba asks if Solomon is okay; he responds that he’s prepared himself for this day since the beginning.

But as they burst in, it seems David has already been killed by Arba, her squad more than enough, since the magic was virtually sealed by the Isolation Barrier. Sheba remembers that Arba was created by David 100 years ago, so he’s like a father to her as well.

The bodies of David and the elders turn into dolls, like we’ve seen from members of Alma Toran, meaning they were just doubles and not the real people.

Ugo wonders if they’ve beaten them, Solomon unclear. A projection from Clairvoyance magic appears, showing that David and the Elder Council are attacking the base, using this as a distraction.

The chapter ends as Solomon’s group prepares to leave, but Ugo realizes they’re trapped by David’s mysterious spell.

World Trigger 63

Viza compliments Reiji, though he says he shouldn’t feel bad, since no human who’s seen Organon for the first time has ever stood against it.

We flashback to Reiji and Jin talking, Jin saying they’ll come up against dangerous opponents. He tells Reiji that he should let the others escape and buy time if they come up against humanoid Neighbors, since he trusts Reiji as the best to do that.

Reiji turns the Shield he was using to a tiny blade, lodging it in Viza’s leg before he Bails Out. Viza is again impressed, Hyuse telling him they should go to capture the baby birds (C Rank agents). They unleash Butterfly Shield, the magnets sending them flying, almost like a railgun.

Yotaro is frustrated that Reiji lost, asking why he didn’t use his Full Arms (his ace in the hole, no doubt), Reiji focusing on getting the data for the enemy Trigger and analyzing it. He assures Yotaro that they haven’t lost yet.

Osamu and Karasuma’s group, with Chika in tow, finds they can’t get into a transporter nearby to get to HQ. Usami says there might be something going on at HQ, since she can’t contact them. Chika senses 2 enemies coming and fast, Kyosuke amazed, since Reiji only Bailed Out recently.

It’s Viza and Hyuse, Viza complimenting Hyuse’s new Trigger. Reiji contacts them, saying that Viza’s the one with the Black Trigger, meaning Hyuse’s is apparently just a specialized one. Hyuse is told by Viza to capture the trainees, while he takes on the others. Karasuma says he’ll handle them, telling Osamu to get the trainees to the rendezvous point with Jin.

Suddenly, Jin appears, saying he’ll fight the Neighbors, and Yuma is right behind him. He slams into Viza, Jin qualifying that they’ll both be taking them on as the chapter ends.

Naruto 680

The group is falling into the lava, Kakashi wondering if it’s genjutsu. But he senses it isn’t. Sasuke summons a hawk, catching Naruto, even though he says they should get Kakashi and Sakura.

The two are okay, Kakashi having tied a kunai to a scroll and used it as a rope to keep them above the lava, Obito also held up by a kunai stabbing his body against the wall. Kakashi and Sakura confirm it’s real when her headband falls into the lava. Kakashi wonders if they were teleported here and how Sasuke could use the summoning technique.

Sasuke reminds Naruto that they are the only two who can seal Kaguya and that if they die, the world is doomed. He tells Naruto that it was coincidence that Kakashi and Sakura were nearby, but Naruto responds that his body might just move on its own, like when Sasuke protected him back when they were fighting Haku. Sakura is moved to tears by Naruto’s sentiment that he’ll protect them.

The scroll starts to burn away, Kakashi and Sakura falling into the lava. Kaguya fires a storm of needles at them, Sasuke blocking most of them. A few stray needles hit the vital points on his hawk summon, but they’re all saved by Naruto’s chakra arms, revealing he can essentially fly.

Elsewhere, the Edo Tensei Hokage are moving towards where Kaguya and the others are, wondering what happened to Madara.

Naruto pulls everyone up, creating a clone to keep an eye on Kakashi and Sakura. He squares off against Kaguya, holding off her attack, getting pushed out of the volcano she apparently teleported them to. The chapter ends as Sasuke attacks Kaguya from above after Naruto signals him.

Toriko 281

Komatsu is happy to see Branch, vomiting after drinking too much. Coco almost does too, though Branch is more worried, since that’d be toxic.

The group sobers up with some Ie Tea (or Yay Tea) and Branch explains that he doesn’t get many humans here, since he doesn’t have any branch restaurants in Human World. He only got into the rankings because of an exhibition he did and the notoriety from that.

Toriko thanks Branch for helping Human World by bringing ingredients from Gourmet World, Branch saying that it somewhat inconvenienced them, since all they were left with were Takoyaki Testicles (literally, that’s what the Japanese joke is).

Branch resents Midora for causing the situation, Toriko saying that Midora is probably one of the strongest people around now.

Coco reminds Branch that they’re here to see the Daruma Hermit, Branch saying that they’re lucky they got here when they did, since it seems like Daruma Hermit might die soon. He has a physician from Human World looking after him and he’s soaking in a Kappa Hot Spring.

Mappy suddenly appears, saying something’s changed with the Daruma Hermit’s condition. We see that Atashino, the Gourmet Surgeon, and Melk the First are with him and he seems to be stabilizing, though he also seems to vacillate between being consciousness and unconsciousness, making Branch frustrated. Atashino says he’ll be okay; he’s just excited after looking into the female kappa bath, only irritating Branch further.

We focus more on Melk the First, who speaks to Komatsu, Zebra able to hear his low voice clearly. The chapter ends as he explains Melk will tell them about what happened a year and a half ago with the Bishokukai and how to capture Acacia’s salad, AIR.

Toriko will be on break for at least a week or two.

Bleach 584

We resume on Ichigo’s attack rushing at Candice, who isn’t fazed by it at all. Ichigo yells at her to dodge it, but she’s struck by it.

Elsewhere, Juhabach tells Jugram to utilize a key, Jugram pointing his sword into the air, emanating the form of a snowflake shape that sends beams of light in six directions. Juhabach speaks cryptically about being grateful to those who showed them the path towards the light.

Remarkably, Candice has survived Ichigo’s attack, only having lost her arm. She tells Giselle to restore it, Giselle excited at the prospect. Apparently, she doesn’t have to use her blood for this; she can use the reishi from her zombie corpses to restore lost limbs and such. She even says she can’t turn Quincies into zombies with her power unless they’re dead (making me wonder about Bambietta’s relevance)

The others continue to bicker, but they’re all attacked by Bazz B’s Burner Finger, the Heat wanting to take their prey from under their noses, since they technically planned to do it with Gremmy and Kenpachi’s fight. But 3 other Quincies: Pepe, Nanana and the mysterious Quincy who shot out Shunsui’s eye, also appear, wanting to take Ichigo out. The 4 female Stern Ritter managed to survive with Giselle’s abilities, meaning it’s 8 against 1 with Ichigo in potential danger with this much power against him.

Lilitotto says there’s no dividing this up: whoever kills Ichigo wins.

Suddenly, a beam of light appears off in the distance, Ichigo stunned by it. This is presumably the same light Jugram activated with the key.

The chapter ends as Juhabach tells Jugram and Uryuu it’s time to become one with him. What this means is unknown, so we’ll have to wait until next week.

Fairy Tail 388

Charle starts to say things are hopeless, but Wendy, after cutting her hair as a sign of her resolve, says they must keep fighting.

Erza’s being pushed back by Minerva, but even after getting her sword broken, she counterattacks with unexpected power, punching her to the ground.
