Naruto 700 +9

Shin starts to summon his blades, which seem to compose his entire right arm, the other clones surrounding Sakura.

Meanwhile, Sasuke is flying with Susanoo, Sarada thinking about Sasuke and what he said about Sakura, wondering what their relationship is and how Karin connects. Naruto helps her to concentrate, remembering that she wants to save Sakura.

Sasuke’s group gets to Shin’s location, Naruto seeking out Sakura’s chakra. Sakura is fighting Shin, who’s using the blades to form a shuriken that he can manipulate freely. But Sasuke bursts in with Susanoo, shattering the arm and destroying the blades.

He then starts to crush Shin, the group pulling Sakura into Susanoo. She starts to heal Sasuke’s wounds from Shin’s blades and Naruto commenting on how strong Sasuke is now.

Sasuke and the other prepare to take Shin, but he utilizes the clones. However, they betray him and stab their father with their giant shuriken. They conclude that he’s become expendable and weak, that they will become the superior genes.

We see a huge amount of Shins, the clones having made them over time in preparation for this. Everyone moves to fight them, Naruto using his Shadow Clone to make a dozen or so, Sasuke punching an especially large one with Susanoo.

Shin takes the opening, using the tiny Juubi to open a portal, sucking in some of the Shin clones.

But Sasuke tells Sarada to move, the Uchiha smashing the little monster and killing it, negating the wormhole.

More clones come in, Sakura moving to stop them, but Sarada surprising everyone as she utilizes similar strength to cause an upheaval of earth all around, like the first time we saw Sakura’s strength in Naruto, the chapter ending on this attack, imitating her mother’s technique with her fledgling Sharingan.

World Trigger 106

We resume with Ninomiya asking Chika and Osamu about Rinji, Chika saying he was her brother and Osamu noting that he was his tutor.

Ninomiya asks them if they recognize a woman in a picture he shows them. They don’t appear to, but he pushes the issue, saying that the person is wanted for illegally providing Triggers to civilians. Border suspects they went through the gate, all 4 of their signals disappearing.

The woman was part of Border and what she did was considered one of the highest crimes, sufficient to erase her memories. So he’s investigating anyone connected to her collaborators.

Osamu remembers Rinji mentioning other collaborators and recognizes Ninomiya as the one who went to Chika’s house when her brother disappeared. Yuma asks what he plans to do, the Border Agent saying they can’t arrest him, since they can’t even locate him. The higher ups are trying to keep this silent, since it would be bad press for them.

Ninomiya says that the person who distributed the Triggers was a Sniper from his team, Hatohara Mirai, but he thinks she was too simpleminded to plan this out, that there was someone else involved.

Chika responds that she thinks her brother was the most capable of arranging such a thing. Ninomiya notes that isn’t sufficient, Osamu claiming that Rinji told him a bit about the plan and showed him the Trigger, but he can’t substantiate it with anything concrete. Rinji did show him a map and it would likely match where Hatohara disappeared.

Osamu concludes that Hatohara could’ve had a deal with Rinji since they both had some common interest in mind, since Rinji didn’t seem like he was leading the whole thing.

Ninomiya leaves, Osamu asking for any information they might have, since they also seek to find out where he is in an away mission, if possible. The B Rank agent responds that Osamu doesn’t have a chance and that they should try to get Yuma into the expedition force. Osamu then suggests that Ninomiya give them the info if they are chosen, the #1 Shooter implicitly accepting.

We find out from Reiji that Ninomiya’s squad was demoted to B Rank after Hatohara’s betrayal, which explains why the captain resents her.  Officially, Hatohara was fired for violation of regulations, and only Azuma, Reiji, Ninomiya squad and Kazama squad officially know about this besides the administrators, since it getting out might make others try to do the same thing. Reiji was actually trained under Azuma along with Hatohara, so they were fellow students back in the day.

Chika is excited, since they’ve gotten some information about Reiji’s possible whereabouts.

Osamu contacts Karasuma, saying he wants to get serious about training as a Shooter, the last match making him realize how much they depend on Yuma as a squad. And even if he’s the strategist, he wants to be more useful as a member. But Karasuma replies that Osamu simply isn’t ready, no spite from his mentor in regards to training. He warns Osamu that the techniques might actually make him more vulnerable in trying to focus so much on hitting.

Osamu presses the issue, Karasuma agreeing to ask others for training. He suggests Tokieda and Arashiyama as well as Izumi as the specialists as the chapter concludes.

Boku no Hero Academia 47

We start with All Might talking with Tsukauchi, the detective from the police that was part of the investigation regarding Noumu and the villains.

They’ve determined he is brain dead, but more interestingly, he has the DNA of 4 other people mixed with his own. The sheer power he has to exert is why his brain activity is so low, but more concerning is how he got those Quirk powers, since he didn’t appear to acquire them through inheritance of the DNA itself. The theory is that it must be related to a Quirk that can grant Quirks, like All For One

Back with Deku and Gran Torino, the elderly hero comments on how Deku’s performance at the Sports Festival showed how his pupil wasn’t that good at teaching.

Deku puts on the costume, some slight aesthetic adjustments done by the support company. He’s worried he might cause problems fighting Gran Torino, but he’s pushed back by another attack.

Torino comments that All Might chose a pitiful 9th inheritor and he’s nothing compared to the older ones, implying Torino is the 7th who’s used All For One’s power, while All Might is the 8th.

Deku starts to focus, managing to dodge one of the elder’s moves, but Gran Torino manages to catch his arm and redirect the attack, commenting that he’s still stiff with his use of All For One.

Gran Torino tells him that his use of the power in the Sports Festival showed him that he’s become shackled to his admiration for All Might, which is limiting his potential.

He leaves Deku to think of the solution himself as we shift to Iida at Hosu, thinking to himself that he has to get revenge for his brother, even if he has to take vague hints to follow Stain’s trail.

Meanwhile, Stain is meeting with Shigaraki and Black Mist. The Destruction Quirk user tells him the goal is to kill All Might and the kids as well. But Stain says that Shigaraki’s a child compared to him, his motivations so simple and without any real purpose.

Shigaraki’s sensei tells Black Mist that he won’t help Shigaraki directly, wanting him to improve on his own.

Deku’s still thinking about his limit and rigidity in relation to All For One and then realizes that the opposite would help his thinking, to be more flexible.

Gran Torino is eavesdropping as the chapter concludes on him saying that All Might picked a great candidate to inherit All For One.

Seven Deadly Sins 128

The group arrives at Istar, Meliodas saying it’s been over a decade since they were last here.

Elizabeth wonders how Meliodas knows about the Druids, the Sin of Wrath saying that the Sins had a mission here. She notices the pillars, but then sees that they actually lead to another area that wasn’t initially seen.

Merlin explains that it’s a gate that connects two areas and requires the permission of the one who cast the spell. We see who it is, three members of the Druid clan.

As we learned before, the two young girls are actually the heads of the clan, while the imposing man is actually just a priest that guards them.

The two heads direct Meliodas and Elizabeth to follow them to the tower nearby, while the others wait, some still in awe of the wisdom of the Druids and their mysterious powers.

Meliodas is told by Zaneli, the one who took the pair to the tower, that he must take a trial in order to be allowed his power to be returned.

Zanali casts an incantation and Meliodas is suddenly thrown into some other world.

The chapter concludes as we see it’s Danafor in the past and Liz meets Meliodas, which shocks him, since she’s supposed to be dead.

Magi 270

Hakuryuu’s s soldiers are pressing towards the center, concerning some of Koumei’s men, but Kouha and Kougyoku’s armies encircle them, taking advantage of their superior numbers.

But the Eastern Army says that their hearts, filled with rage and hatred, can still push forward and maintain their momentum.

Koumei’s subordinate notes that since their opponents know no fear, they will fight to the last man, meaning that, even if the Western Army wins, both sides will suffer heavy losses. For that reason, Koumei must intervene.

Dantalion’s power to use transfer circles is shown, combined with Kouha’s Leraje. It seems like they’re not even hitting Hakuryuu’s armies, but it turns out they’re isolating them by creating a chasm around them.

The chapter concludes as the Eastern Army moves into the moat and is covered in oil, following by flaming arrows, engulfing them in a blaze, showing the true nature of the strategy.

Bleach 632

Bazz B recounts how they trained for 5 long years, Jugo still unable to utilize reishi. He thinks he might be one of those rare Quincy that was born without the potential, usually killed while they were young.

But instead Jugo poured himself into training with the sword and bow as real weapons, increasing his physical strength, which encouraged Bazz to stick with him.

The day came when Soldat under Juhabach announced his plans to create the Stern Ritter, seeing Soul Society as an eventual threat to them as they grew in power.

Bazz B rushes up to them and volunteers, the soldier leaving him, saying that he should practice until the actual exam date. But the Quincy fires a reishi arrow at him, challenging him to a fight here and now.

The soldier accepts, but before they can fight, Juhabach appears, emitting a strong reiatsu that nearly topples Bazz B.

Apologizing, the soldier is excused by the Quincy King who says he is looking for his right hand man. Bazz B thinks he should choose him so he can kill him, but the chapter ends as we see Juhabach choosing Jugram, calling him his other half.

One Piece 791

Luffy, having finished off Doflamingo, reverts back to his original form, Law teleporting him to the ground. People wonder what happened, Gatz noticing that the Birdcage is receding.

Everyone is still in shock as they push back the strings. Gatz is choked up at Luffy’s victory, not fully able to explain that Luffy won, getting stuck after he’s completed most of his speech. He recounts that the fight between Doflamingo and the various fighters as well as the final battle of the rogue Shichibukai versus Straw Hat Luffy is complete.

And as he finally cheers at Luffy’s conclusion of this battle, everyone cheers, Rebecca remember Luffy’s promise to defeat Doflamingo and Riku remembering Doflamingo threatening him 10 years ago.

The chapter concludes as we see other people remembering Kyros’ speech as a toy, the gladiator crying tears of happiness as he realizes that his dreams have been brought forth to reality by Luffys’ efforts, Rebecca still weeping over Luffy’s unconscious body.

Toriko 329

Komatsu’s group is about to go into Blue Grill, but the Corgolem piece jumps out to attack. It’s suddenly slashed into tiny pieces and picked up by giant pelicans.

Chef Yuda comments on how precise and powerful that Dice Cut was from this distance, everyone going to the gate.

Jiji says that Komatsu’s excitement is like Ichiryuu’s, who visited centuries ago. Don Slime seems to remember Ichiryuu with some resentment. Jiji also mentions that 3 humans were saved by a reconnaissance team from Blue Grill 2 years ago, nearly on the verge of death.

The first look at Blue Grill’s market is a bustling bazaar of activity, amazing cooking and cookware everywhere you look. The chefs are even involving themselves, helping local chefs with their cooking in one way or another.

The pelicans that took the sliced Corgolem wonder why the chefs are here. But the Corgolem pieces start to fuse back together, Chiyo slicing it more precisely so it can’t regenerate.

The chapter ends as Jiji thinks the chefs have already shown their skill in preparation for going into the Back Channel, the mysterious figures who tried to capture the Corgolem telling their subordinates to capture all the interesting chefs.

Fairy Tail 441

The group is using a boat to get to the continent where Alvareth lies (Alvarez was a somewhat inaccurate translation, Crunchyroll’s making more sense for once), Natsu asks why Mest couldn’t just teleport them there. The mage says it’s too far for his magic to do.

Wendy can’t even use her healing magic, since all Dragon Slayers seem to be affected by this motion sickness. Gray takes them to their rooms.

Erza asks Mest about Lumen Histoire, thinking that it doesn’t make sense unless they know the power of it as to why Makarov would risk so much for the guild’s safety.

There are other questions, like what the power of it was, if it could be used as a weapon, since Makarov was going to use it to stop the Face bombs. And the identity of Mavis and her status as a spirit but also encased in crystal as a body poses a big quandary as well.

Mest reminds them that they need to focus on getting to Arakitashia, the continent where Alvareth is. But before that, they need to prepare at Caracolle Island. They’ll meet an agent there to give them advice about infiltration.

Meanwhile, Gajeel’s group is trying to find where Laxus and his group are. Juvia wonders why they split into teams, but Pantherlily says that it’s better, since they only slightly increased their chances with a stealth mission rather than a direct confrontation.

Levy also explains that they need to find Laxus to potentially increase the odds more, complaining to Gajeel about leaving her behind. She warns everyone that the enemies at Alvareth are top tier, more dangerous than any other they’ve fought.

Natsu’s group is nearly to Caracolle, but they see Alvareth navy ships, investigating the harbor for a spy according to Natsu and Wendy’s ears.

They decide to infiltrate under the pretense of sightseeing as a fake guild based on Wendy’s old group, Cait Shelter. The guards are a bit confused, but Erza and Lucy use some sex appeal to advance their status, quickly checked in.

There are squads everywhere, Natsu warned to keep himself in check, the Fire Dragon Slayer saying he understands infiltration, but seems to only have a cursory idea of what ninjas are.

A child is crying to a guard, asking him about his father. The soldier is about to strike the child, but Natsu, Lucy, Gray and Erza take out the soldiers with a punch each, the chapter ending as Mest says they’re in a bad place now, having blown their cover.

Naruto 700 +8

Naruto’s shocked to see Sarada has awakened her Sharingan, but the Uchiha’s daughter replies that she doesn’t want to seem like her father at all.

The Hokage asks what she plans to do, Sarada responding that she’s going to leave and not come back to Konoha. She also says it doesn’t have anything to do with him, but he stops her, saying it does, since the Hokage regards everyone in the village as his family.

Sarada retorts that her father is never around and her mother lied to her, the Hokage just using this as an excuse in her eyes. She even says that she and Sakura aren’t related by blood, that she never really had a family and Naruto can’t feel what she’s feeling.

But Naruto thinks back to his own childhood, Iruka treating him like a son and also not having parents for most of his life. And then we see his fight with Sasuke before the Uchiha left the village years ago to go with Orochimaru. Naruto told Sasuke that he’s been able to form connections even if he’s not related to those people in that way, Iruka like his father and Sasuke like his brother.

He tells Sarada that bonds are made up of more than just blood or time, but love the strongest aspect of them. Naruto tells Sarada to look inside herself to see if she can find that love, the Uchiha flashing back to her childhood, seeing how Sakura both showed and spoke of how much she loved her surrogate daughter.

Sarada even asks Sakura once if Sasuke even loves them, Sakura saying that it’s because he loves them that he can’t be here because of the mission he was given. Sarada then asks if they’ve kissed, Sakura remembering something, saying that she remembered a moment just as important, but delaying it by doing the same thing Sasuke and Itachi did, placing a finger on Sarada’s forehead.

Returning to the present, Sarada is overcome with emotion, but is still confused about what to do, even though she wants to save Sakura. Naruto tells her that as long as she has that feeling, even the fact that they aren’t biologically connected shouldn’t matter.

The pair meets back up with Sasuke, telling him they need to talk later. Orochimaru notes that Sakura may already be dead, but Sasuke says that she’s tougher than that.

He prepares to seek out her location, his Rinnegan slightly weakened after searching for Kaguya, which uses up a lot of chakra to travel to her dimension.

But Sasuke also chides Naruto for being reckless in his fight before with Shin, Naruto shooting right back at the Uchiha that he’s not much better as Chouchou commenting on how cool Sarada’s dad is.

The chapter ends as Shin explains that he plans to wipe out all the genes that have become complacent in this peaceful time, asking whose side Sakura is on. The medic ninja starts to crack her knuckles, saying that the only reason he’s still here is because her husband is investigating him.

World Trigger 105

As Enedora tells everyone he’ll explain all he knows about Aftokrator, Yuma and Osamu are confused. Kinuta explains that they transferred Enedora’s horns into the Rad, which, because of how far they’d progressed into his brain, preserved his memories and personality.

Yuma notes that this makes sense as to how HQ gave up Hyuse to Tamakoma, since they had Enedora to interrogate. But he’s so cooperative that they’re suspicious about the veracity of his statements, so Yuma’s serving as a lie detector. The Neighbor responds to Kinuta’s curiosity about how effective his Side Effect is by saying he knew Kinuta was lying about planning to torture Hyuse.

The interrogation begins, Enedora confirming that the Neighbors sought to find soldiers by capturing those with high Trion levels. But Kinuta is more interested in why they invested so many Black Triggers into the mission.

Enedora says that their god is dying, further qualifying that the planets in the Neighborhood are all giant Triggers (which just occurs to me is a nod to the series’ title, World Trigger, a world that’s a Trigger). Aftokrator throws a sacrifice called a god into the Trigger to maintain it until they die. They’re desperately searching for a new Trion source, since the planet only has a few years left until the present one dies.

Kinuta asks why he killed civilians, the Neighbor saying they need the highest quality to maintain the size of their planet, so they couldn’t just use anyone. Enedora was commanded to make a disturbance, but Yuma says he’s lying about something.

After noting that they’re comparing information from other captives, Enedora figures out that Hyuse was captured, saying that he’d never give up anything about his country.

But Enedora’s different, willing to tell them how to get to Aftokrator because all he desires is revenge against those who betrayed and killed him. Yuma says there’s a slight lie there, but he’d be on their side, getting revenge his primary objective.

Kinuta tells him they’ll be interrogating him more later, so he’ll be called back occasionally.

With this in mind, Yuma, Osamu and Kikuchihara think that the away missions might come sooner than imagined. Yuma and Osamu conclude they have to get higher ranked soon before they announce the team.

Yuma goes to talk with Suwa squad and Tokieda from Arashiyama squad, Kikuchihara wondering if Osamu can really get better in the limited time they have, even with understanding that he can’t rely on Yuma to progress in the ranks.

Tokieda finds it odd that Kikuchihara is talking to Osamu, even making this clear to Yuma.

The chapter concludes as we see Osamu and Chika have a guest, Ninomiya Squad’s captain, who asks them if they remember the name Rinji Amatori, Chika’s older brother who disappeared years ago.

Boku no Hero Academia 46

Everyone’s deciding what Hero they’ll be shadowing for a day, Deku especially focused on who he has to choose, thinking of various factors.

Aizawa explains in a brief flashback that they will be interning with Heroes for a week, the ones who got drafted choosing from them, while the others will go with various agencies across the country that will take them in.

Uraraka is picking a tough Hero called Gunhead, since she was inspired by her fight with Bakugou to challenge herself and get stronger.

Meanwhile, All Might tells Deku about the person who drafted him. He’s called Gran Torino, he was All Might’s homeroom teacher and he only taught at Yuuei for a year. But he’s very impressive, All Might concerned about why he even took him in, since he was the one who trained Deku initially.

The day of internships starts and everyone heads out to their various locations.

Deku and Uraraka learned about Iida’s brother being targeted by Stain on the news and tell him that they’re here if he wants to talk. Deku thinks to himself that he regrets not doing more that day, since something bad happened with Iida later on.

Deku finds the building where he’s to meet Gran Torino, everything run down. Even Gran Torino seems like he’s gone senile, not recognizing Deku.

But he quickly changes his tone, telling the Hero Student to attack him so he can evaluate how much he’s improved with All For One. Deku thinks he can’t waste time fighting him, since he doesn’t think Gran Torino’s that good.

The chapter ends as the Hero shows impressive speed and tells him to not underestimate him, pushing him to fight.

Seven Deadly Sins 127

Meliodas stops the group, King also sensing the presences the Sin of Wrath felt before. The half demon identifies the 2 Commandments as Galan and Monspiet, but he doesn’t recognize the third one.

Diane is amazed to see her mentor, but Matrona knocks her out, taking her away.

Galan breaks out of his earth prison, but Diane and Matrona are already gone. He leaps into the air, trying to find them by stabbing his spear across a wide range.

Monspiet steadies himself, angered at his meal being interrupted. He emits a massive bloodlust, felt by Meliodas’ group, the Sin of Wrath thinking that Monspiet is one of the more dangerous Commandments to fight.

The Commandment notes where they are, sending out a bird made of Purgatory Flame which rockets towards them. Anyone in its way is immolated by the power as it flies in the direction of our group.

Hawk’s mother is told by Meliodas to change direction, but the dark phoenix chases after them. The giant pig turns around and rushes at the spell, managing to eat it to the surprise of everyone.

Monspiet thinks it might’ve been Counter Vanish, but it disappeared instead of being countered by magic. Galan thinks his attack must’ve killed both of them, but we see Matrona has burrowed under the earth and gotten away with Diane in tow.

Meliodas’s group is impressed at Hawk’s mother’s ability to eat the magic.

Merlin suggests they change course, King wondering why she doesn’t want to go after Diane. The Sin of Gluttony notes that she’s safe, but they shouldn’t go after her without more information. Instead, she says they ought to prioritize getting stronger.

We’re told that Merlin is now ready to give back Meliodas’ power and the location to retrieve it is the land of the Druids, Istar, which is nearby.

Magi 268-269/70

We move to the Kanan Plains, where the Kou Empire battled many times to maintain its advantage, the area a key location for the kingdom. Some of Kouen’s subordinates note that this is interesting, since they previously fought here for unification and now they’re involved in a civil war.

A scout tells Koumei that Hakuryuu’s army has begun to move, the strategists thinking it was reckless to progress from the canyon. Koumei responds that this might actually be to Hakuryuu’s advantage, since the use of Metal Vessels changed the understanding of tactics, the terrain also aiding certain Metal Vessels with their abilities, like the volcano for Kouen’s Astaroth. It’s as if Hakuryuu intentionally chose the plains for Belial and Zagan.

Koumei relays to the scout that Kouen should move some troops to the south of Rakushou.

But Seishuu, the Household Vessel user of Astaroth, wonders why Koumei’s so calm. Koumei responds that their objective isn’t to take Rakushou but to kill Hakuryuu. Either they’d have had to siege Rakushou or fight Hakuryuu at the plains. But since he’s come all this way, the battle has become more expedient for both sides.

The group begins to strategize, Koumei eventually leaving and thinking to himself about his regret in potentially killing Hakuei’s brother.

The next day, the war begins, the status of each army explained. Kouha is commanding the first army, while Kougyoku has the second, both numbering 200K or more. Kouen’s 2 subordinates are also helping with somewhat smaller armies, about 10K or so.

We see that Hakuryuu’s army is much smaller, but with his Metal Vessel, he’s summoned giant flying beasts to supplant his weaker numbers. The total number is about 100K.

The name of the mysterious person who aids Hakuryuu is revealed, Nanaumi, excited about the prospect of war.

The chapter concludes as Hakuryuu sends a message to Koumei’s army: give them Kouen’s head and surrender or prepare to die.

The next chapter begins where we left off, Kouha thinking Hakuryuu’s using a magic item to project his voice, everyone else thinking this is part of Belial’s powers.

Both Koumei and Hakuryuu command their armies to advance, the conflict beginning with a great burst of motivation.

Koumei’s troops seem confident, but find that Hakuryuu’s soldiers, empowered by Zagan and Belial, are managing to push through with sheer mettle. Their power is so great, a single fighter can slice through a horse and soldier with one blow.

It’s said that most soldiers are hindered somewhat by fear and hesitation, but these warriors know neither of these things. They’re considered monsters, enhanced by Zagan to be powerful and their fear suppressed by Belial, making them much more powerful even in smaller numbers.

Kouha and Kougyoku come into the scene, taking down some of the soldiers.

However, Kougyoku is divided in her mind, seeing these people as Kou citizens and not able to be as coldhearted as her brothers.

Kouha reminds her that their opponents are being manipulated: they have no choice but to kill them and save the lives that want peace.

Kougyoku regains her resolve, fighting to keep at least one of them pure, thinking Kouha deserves not to have the stain of blood on his conscience.

The chapter ends as they move to get closer to Hakuryuu’s position, encouraging the soldiers as well.

Bleach 631

Bazz B and Jugram continue their fight as we flashback to Jugram training with his bow.

The Heat user takes out the rabbit that the Balance was targeting, commenting on how bad he is.

Jugram asks who he is, Bazz B a bit offended at having to give his name to someone. He then says that he was here to help the Quincy, since he couldn’t even get game himself. Jugram admits this, but Bazz B encourages him, saying he’s just a natural genius compared to the others, including Jugram.

We find that Jugo is an orphan, his uncle taking him in. The Quincy tells Bazz B to leave him alone, the Heat giving him the rabbit he killed, since he doesn’t need it, being a prodigy and all.

Jugo is pulled back to his house by his uncle as the scene shifts to the present. Bazz B asks why Silbern is called Wahrwelt, but Jugo tells him that they should avoid fighting indoors.

Jugo flashes back to Bazz B’s house being burned down by Juhabach, the Quincy resenting the conqueror. We find that Jugo’s forest home was burned down and his uncle killed. The two decide that they must kill Juhabach, but first, they must become strong and gain his trust.

The chapter ends as we find that Juhabach had planned the Stern Ritter as a vanguard to take down Soul Society, having already conquered what they called the Kingdom of Light (presumably some area of the human World).

One Piece 790

Luffy stands before Doflamingo, who says the Straw Hat Pirate is probably barely able to stand up, Luffy responding in turn that Doflamingo’s not in the best shape either.

The String Man stabs Luffy with threads, Rebecca teleported out of the way to safety by Law.

Doflamingo then initiates Ever White, turning the whole area they’re in to string, disrupting Luffy’s balance. He pushes the Rubber Man back, slamming him into a wall and damaging him greatly even with Armament Haki.

Luffy flashes back to his training with Rayleigh and how Gear 4th is too dangerous when faced with some opponents.

Doflamingo manipulates Luffy to come towards him, but Luffy initiates Gear Fourth again, leaping up to finish the Shichibukai off after breaking the strings.

The former Tenryuubito throws his Spider Web attack out to block Luffy’s King Kong Gun, also firing out some threads to kill Luffy. But the punch the Bound Man throws is so powerful it actually smashes Doflamingo’s sunglasses and seemingly defeats him completely this time, the chapter concluding on this uncertainty.

Toriko 328

Everyone’s astonished at how pitch black the Black Triangle is, comparing it to soy sauce, squid ink or black coffee. Jiji says that it’s known as Soup Stock Sea, the origin of the Taste Tides that flow thorough the seas of Gourmet World. It’s 30,000 meters deep, only the 3rd deepest in Gourmet World and yet it’s said that some chefs completed their Full Course just here.

The Black Triangle also has materials that were used to make the 7 Golden Cookware that can prepare Spirit Food.

We’re told that the Back Channel is almost devoid of taste and most tastes cannot be brought there. Only ANOTHER, the source of the infinite tastes that flow throughout the oceans, can be brought to the “Front” world.

The group sees a beautiful garden in the Black Triangle, illuminated by a Stardust River left behind by one of the spawn of ANOTHER.

Chiyo is especially entranced by it, wondering if her dead son might be seeing this from the Back Channel. Hearing about this is why she joined the group, hoping to find out more about this world.

She speaks about how her son was deprived of even tasting food, possibly affected by the allergy we heard a few arcs ago and he was going to Chiyo’s restaurant when he passed away. The chef says she wanted to just remember the good times, but if she had the chance, she wanted to make a home cooked meal for her son.

Chinchin comments on how everyone has come into Gourmet World with strong resolve, so they won’t back down from a challenge.

But suddenly everyone sees a giant coral monster, fleeing from its danger. It turns out it’s one of the Seven Kings of Area 6, who all boast Capture Levels of 4000 or more, balancing out the ecosystem with Black Hole Whale Moon, the strongest of the 8 Kings.

We meet Don Slime, a Food Spirit that apparently has a secret power, guiding the group to Blue Grill in the meantime.

The civilization of Area 6 is covered by the Giant Shell, with a size that can encompass America, opening up to take everyone in.

The chapter ends as we see the entrance to the city, everyone getting out of the Camping Monsters as they surface.

Fairy Tail 440

We confirm that Makarov has gone to Alvarez to negotiate, everyone worried about him since Mest hasn’t gotten any communication in the last year from the guild master.

Part of the plan was to revive the Magic Council with the Ten Wizard Saints, including Warrod, and they’ve managed to create a temporary defense against the kingdom.

Mest says that since that’s complete, he’s now going to help them. Natsu is ready to go, but Erza says they shouldn’t act rashly. The Dragon Slayer says they’ve gotten stronger over the past year, so they have a chance to beat them.

Erza replies that as the guild master, she wants to rebuild the guild and get everyone back to the way it was. But as a guild member, she wants to rescue Makarov as well. She says that a small group, just those here, will be better. They’ll rescue him and get back to everyone here in Magnolia.

Everyone agrees, Erza reminding Natsu that this is an infiltration and rescue, so they won’t get into needless fights.

Meanwhile, Gajeel, with his enhanced hearing, eavesdrops and suggests that Cana, he, Juvia and Mirajane put together the team from the Grand Magic Games and find Laxus.

Back at the Magic Council, Levy is processing the forms with Jura. Warrod is happy to hear this as well, though Wolfheim, the 3rd ranked Wizard Saint, thinks the Warrod is playing dumb. He changes form wildly, threatening the plant mage, but Hyberion, the 2nd strongest mage, says they must set an example for others and remain calm in this situation.

Levy asks about God Serena, the strongest of the 10 Wizard Saints. But it’s revealed he betrayed Ishgar and joined Alvarez as one of its 12 strongest mages, which implies there are 11 others on his level, the chapter ending on this huge threat to the continent from the west.
