Waited a bit too long, but Black Clover seems to have a solid status in WSJ, so I’ll be adding it to the lineup. Eventually, Fairy Tail, Magi and Bleach will end, so I need something ongoing to add and there’re a lot of potential and awesome events this week for the premiere of it in the blog

One Piece is on break this week

Black Clover 54

We start a new arc after meeting a significant antagonist, right under the leader of the organization that led an attack on the Clover Kingdom, calling itself the Eye of the Midnight Sun.

Asta, our protagonist, is asked by the Wizard King’s assistant to use his sword, which has antimagic properties, gifted to him by his rare black 5 clover grimoire, to help them investigate more into the whereabouts and plans of the Eye of the Midnight Sun.

They have 2 prisoners in custody, Asta using his sword on them and Marx, the Wizard King Julius’ assistant, starts to interrogate them after they’ve broken seals on them.\

Meanwhile, most of the Magic Knight Captains, serving right under the Wizard King, are waiting to start their meeting, since the Golden Dawn’s captain, William Vangeance, hasn’t arrived.

Yami, leader of the Black Bulls and Asta’s superior, is bickering with various other captains before Vangeance arrives, apparently always very busy, since he wasn’t present when Asta’s rival, Yuno, was at a ceremony to be promoted in rank or when the kingdom was under attack.

Marx contacts the group, telling them to meet the Wizard King at another location.

As the Magic Knights arrive, they ask what they found out, the major revelation being that one of the Magic Knight Captains conspired with the Eye of the Midnight Sun, the chapter concluding as this revelation will be postponed until next week

Boku no Hero Academia 83

We see everyone regrouping after the Villain attack, Uraraka and Asui finally meeting up with Deku’s group, All Might’s disciple still in anguish at the utter defeat they suffered.

By Vlad’s reports, about 15 of the students were injured, ambulances arriving about 15 minutes afterwards. Ragdoll is missing (some speculating she may have been taken by the Noumu, since what looks like her helmet was in one of its hands last chapter), Bobtail in critical condition after the head wound. The Villains only had 3 defeats, all of them apprehended while the rest got away.

The next day, Yuuei’s administration is discussing how this development truly has shown them how soft they’ve become with the peace All Might created, not even considering that Villains could still be organizing under their noses.

Bakugou acting wild as he did in the Sports Festival may have been the catalyst to the Villains regarding him as a suitable target, his capture showing that Yuuei is taking them too lightly.

Present Mic brings up the legitimate concern they’ve had for a while: that there’s a traitor among the Yuuei faculty, possibly even a student. The others say they need to be cautious in making such accusations, Nedzu agreeing that they need to investigate such things.

All Might gets a call, leaving the meeting to talk to Tsukauchi, the lead investigator in the Villain cases. He says that they may have found the Villains’ hideout, Dabi’s description matching someone that one of his subordinates discovered through inquiries in the area.

The #1 Hero responds that he’s not going to take this lying down, that he’s out for revenge, to payback the Villains for what they did to his students.

Meanwhile, Deku spent about 2 days recovering, the rest of the class, minus some students still recovering, enters his room as he awakens.

Deku curses himself for not being able to save Bakugou, Kirishima saying that they’ll save him, since he and Todoroki overheard a conversation between Yaoyorozu and All Might. The Creation Hero says she put a transmitter into the Noumu with Awase’s help, giving All Might the tracker device. They’re hoping to get another one and go after them as well.

Iida says they should leave this to the professionals, but Kirishima says he wants to do something, since he felt so useless before. He can’t call himself a Hero if he doesn’t act to save his friend.

The others are mixed in their opinions, Kirishima telling Deku he still has a chance to help Bakugou as the chapter ends on this decision point.

Seven Deadly Sins 167

Diane thanks King, saying she saved him because he was willing to protect her even though she doesn’t believe they have any prior relationship.

The giantess summons her two golems, Fillet and Sirloin, but Dolor’s clone easily smashes both of them. She wonders why they’re so much more powerful, King saying that the Ten Commandments have immense magical strength, but that her own golems are weakened because they’re just imaginary friends she made when she was alone in the world.

In order for her golems to be the strongest they can, she has to have a solid belief and form in mind for who they take the shape of.

Diane tries again, making 3 golems, one resembling Matrona, another Meliodas and the last Elizabeth (a tiny Hawk golem is there as well).

King thinks it makes sense, since Meliodas is special to Diane, but we see that she made a 4th that took King’s form.

He’s so touched that he’s crying, Diane a bit confused at that.

Each golem shows some strength, but Dolor defeats each of them after they make their attacks, slowly wearing it down.

With only King’s golem left, he thinks they can’t win, but the Harlequin copy smashes through Dolor’s clone with one strike, the match concluded with that.

King wonders why Diane made him so strong, still not confident in his own strength. But Diane responds that she really sees great power in her friend, the chapter ending on their victory.

World Trigger 136

HQ is staying cautious, both because they think Galopoula could be doing a covert operation and because the Planet Nation is still in orbit near Earth for a month. They’re a bit ambiguous on whether they can defend against such an attack again, but they also have Jin’s Side Effect to thank

The major concern is whether they’ll attack the city, but they think they can prepare with Jin’s precognition.

Meanwhile, we see that Yoneya is still affected by Koskero’s Trigger, the group bringing it back to HQ for analysis. Arashiyama compliments the Attackers for keeping the Neighbors occupied outside HQ, especially Yomi and the Idras Trion soldiers he controlled.

Ninomiya asks Miwa why he cooperated with Jin when he’s known to hate Tamakoma, but Miwa simply says they decided it was the best course of action. We see other Border agents pushing Yoneya around, who’s sliding on his feet as they grab his spear and spin around or the like, Kako wanting to do similar things with Miwa, which he rejects.

Everyone else is throwing around congratulations for their hard work, especially Nasu and Kumagai taking out one of the invaders.

Meanwhile, back on the Galopoula ship, Reghindetz is getting torn into for his actions. He insists he was trying to bluff them, but Wen responds that they predicted his actions too easily. Koskero says it was his fault for giving Reghi control over the Trion soldiers.

The others think there must be some reason besides Hyuse, an Aftokrator prisoner, that they were able to discern their tactics so easily.

Yomi reports to Gatlin on Vassilissa, the Black Trigger having taken double damage in the battle, Tachikawa’s initial strike followed up by Konami with precision in the same place, making Gatlin impressed at their skill. They still have the mission to work on, but they have time, so they’ll wait until they’ve recovered to try again.

We shift to the Rank Wars, Sakurako of Ebina squad commentating alongside Tokieda from Arashiyama Squad and Izumi from Tachikawa Squad. She’s especially giddy because her squad finally made it into the middle B Rank.

Besides Tamakoma-2, the rookies in the B Ranks, Katori and Kakizaki squad are somewhat new in their relative rank, since Katori was pushed down by Mikumo Squad’s rise and then lost to Nasu squad in the round where Mikumo Squad went down a few ranks as well. Katori is well known as a squad that maintained a position in the upper B ranks for 2 seasons.

Kakizaki fell down due to losing to Arafune Squad in the 3rd round, but moved back up in the 4th, persisting and trying to get past people’s stereotype of them being too cautious. Kakizaki is a former member of Arashiyama squad, who Tokieda respects as his senior.

Tamakoma-2 is reiterated as being a rookie squad that had a rise in rank for a while, but then tasted defeat in the 4th round, showing how tough the wall to the upper B ranks is to climb.

The chapter ends as the 5th B Rank wars are about to start, Jin, Hyuse and Yotaro arriving just in time to watch them.

Magi 298

Sharrkan wishes to welcome his student back with a feast, Alibaba distracted by the more revealing clothes of the people, some women even topless. The king of Heliohapt explains that it’s tradition for the rulers of their country to wear snakes, which is why he has them around him now.

But he’s more confused as to why Sharrkan returned home, noting how the member of Sinbad’s Household was fiercely loyal to him. Sharrkan responds that he always intended to return back, but Sinbad’s actions to create a kind of world peace pushed things forward. He emphasizes that he’s still grateful to Sinbad nonetheless.

Alibaba asks Sharrkan if he thinks Sinbad is any different, his vassal noting that he’s more impressive to him than before, having achieved his goal of a peaceful world in a real way.

It makes sense that Sinbad’s closest allies. who’ve been with him longer, would regard him as being the same, but Sharrkan does note that he disagrees with Sinbad in regards to his disregard to nations as having value to people, since Heliohapt is Sharrkan’s home in spite of the political conflict it’s had in the past

The only thing he feels that he’s lacking is being able to understand Sinbad’s vision, but he still wants to fulfill his duties as king to the best of his abilities. Sharrkan agrees to let Alibaba make a teleportation circle and establish trade with Heliohapt and the Kou Empire, since it’s very isolated from Reim and Parthevia.

The next destination is Reim, Sharrkan calling someone, but his junior hanging up.

It turns out it was Masrur, who has joined the Fanalis Corps and has 2 wives, likely approved by Mu, the captain.

Alibaba asks why he’s not with Sinbad, the Fanalis saying he wasn’t needed, someone else at his side besides Jafar (probably Hakuei/Gyokuen?).

The Dungeon Conqueror asks Masrur if Sinbad should really be seen as admirable in making all these decisions. He thinks that it’s better for the people to make the decisions themselves rather than just leaving them up to people like Sinbad.

Masrur says Alibaba shouldn’t be so harsh on Sinbad, directing the Amon King Vessel to meet Reim’s Magi, Titus.

The chapter ends as we see him, Mu, Ignatius and what I imagine is Sphintus from Heliohapt, welcoming Alibaba

Bleach 667

As Gerard’s arm flies down, Ikkaku is in disbelief that Kenpachi has arrived on the scene.

Meanwhile, the Miracle regenerates his arm, Byakuya explaining that his ability seems to be improving and regrowing any part of his body that’s damaged, making it stronger than before.

Kenpachi moves to cut up Gerard even more, Toushirou stopping him. He reminds the reckless Soul Reaper that if Gerard becomes any stronger, his size would mean that if he was defeated and fell, Seireitei would be obliterated.

But Kenpachi doesn’t seem to care, pushing Gerard’s mass away after he tried to step on them, managing to stop the blow with his amazing physical power.

After he tries to slash through the Quincy’s shield, Gerard pulls out his Hoffnung blade to defeat Kenpachi.

Kenpachi releases his Shikai, Toushirou and Byakuya thinking this means that their theory that his Zanpakutou remained in perpetual release state was wrong.

The Miracle and Kenpachi clash, Kenpachi’s Nozarashi pushing Hoffnung back.

The chapter ends as Gerard says he’s not taking that laying down, noting how Nozarashi nicked Hoffnung, the two squaring off again.

Toriko 364

We find out that it isn’t Appetite Energy that Don Slime is creating, but a star, condensing an immense amount of mass into it so that the resulting supernova will wipe out the planet and everything within 7 light years.

The resulting explosion is eaten by NEO to Don Slime’s shock as he reverts back to his smaller form.

We flashback to Don Slime finding Ichiryuu’s soul in the Back Channel. Ichiryuu rejects Don Slime’s offer to be resurrected, focusing on something he found in the World of Spirits, something gestating, an unimaginable amount of appetite.

Since time is infinite in the Back Channel, Ichiryuu’s been contemplating evolution and how it connects to appetite. That drive pushed people to evolve in his perspective. He just hopes he’s changed the world so that the next evolution will make things better for people, to allow happiness where everyone is equal at the dinner table.

Ichiryuu notes that NEO is something radically different, not from their world.

ANOTHER’s preparation is complete, pushing Don Slime out of the Back Channel.

In the present, Don Slime is still in shock, NEO in the midst of eating him.

The Blue Nitro PAIR appears, noting that the reason why NEO is called that is because its Gourmet Cells are so radically different.

Don Slime is consumed by NEO, the Gourmet Cell Demon demanding to know when GOD is arriving.

To sate his appetite for the moment, PAIR says that NEO should help the Blue Nitro defeat Jirou, who is powerful enough to keep them occupied while the lone Blue Nitro arrived here to send the message.

The chapter ends on this building conflict, Jirou’s power more than we could’ve imagined.

Fairy Tail 478

Natsu punches Jacob, the Assassin Mage counter-attacking, the two exchanging blows for a bit, before Jacob grabs Natsu and slams him into the ground.

He disappears, Natsu unable to counter him as he attacks from seemingly nowhere. Mavis thinks this is a complete Stealth Camouflage magic.

The Spriggan explains he can even see those things which are normally unseen, like Mavis’ spirit form.

Lucy unleashes Loke, thinking that he’s just invisible, but Jacob still pushes the Stellar Spirit back.

He then initiates multiple attacks, revealing that his magic is focused on invisibility, making himself unseen and his attacks and also seeing that which is unseen.

Natsu continues to assault him, but Jacob pins him, making Lucy’s clothing invisible, leaving her in her underwear.

He taunts Natsu, thinking this is punishment to the Dragon Slayer, but Natsu thinks this is nothing, since Lucy’s always in revealing outfits, so he’s used to it. Jacob himself is unable to look at Lucy, thinking it indecent to do such things, the magic a double edged sword for him.

Lucy and Natsu make a quick plan, Lucy making to take off her clothes. As Jacob continues to close his eyes, we find that Lucy changed her Stellar Dress Form, she and Natsu taking advantage of an opening and simultaneously hitting Jacob with a kick and punch to the face.

The chapter ends as Jacob is fuming mad and ready to fight, while Mavis has somehow discerned a way to defeat Zeref from the battle so far.

Boku no Hero Academia 82

Iida’s group is shown as we flashback to when Mandalay telepathically relayed the message about Bakugou being targeted. They want to fight, but Vlad tells them they should stay here.

They think Aizawa might be returning, but it’s Dabi, blasting fire into the room.

Vlad pins him against the wall, but the Villain retorts that they’re already too late, revealing that Bakugou may have already been kidnapped by this point. He also notes that they’ve started their plan to break peoples’ trust in the Hero society by showing how vulnerable Yuuei is, to be assaulted by common Villains like this.

Aizawa bursts in, smashing the Dabi clone’s head, already having discerned that he wasn’t actually here, but merely had a replicant like before. He leaves Kouta in Vlad’s protection, going back to the frontlines while Vlad protects the main building.

The students think that, since Aizawa brought up the tactic the villains are using to distract them, that they should also help, but Eraserhead replies that the students’ safety is their top priority, since they don’t know what the Villain’s overall plan is yet.

Back with Deku’s group, the Magician is told to dodge by Dabi, who blasts flame at them, burning Deku slightly and knocking Shouji and Todoroki back as well.

Todoroki tries to fight back, but the clone Villain dodges.

Himiko targets Deku, saying she wants him to bleed more.

Meanwhile, Dabi asks for Bakugou, the entertainer moving to hand them as he shuffles in his jacket. Shouji manages to discern that the Magician Villain has Bakugou and Tokoyami in his right pocket, likely those small orbs he had in his hand last chapter

But Black Mist appears, the Villains starting to retreat.

The Magician Villain reveals that it was a ploy to distract Shouji, the two captured Heroes in orbs he had in his mouth, the ones he made before just pieces of Todoroki's ice attacks. The group retreats, but Aoyama fires his Navel Laser, hitting the mysterious Villain in the face, releasing the orbs.

Todoroki and Shouji go to get them, managing to get one away, but Dabi grabs the other one, confirming it’s Bakugou.

The Magician releases his Quirk, Tokoyami out of their hands.

But as Deku cries out for his friend, Bakugou tells him to stay away, the portal closing as the chapter ends with the One For All successor screaming in anguish at his failure.

Seven Deadly Sins 166

Diane and Dolor are confused at the new form, Gloxinia explaining that this is the true power of the Holy Tree.

Dolor’s clone rushes at King, but the Guardian smashes it through the pillar with incredible power, shocking everyone.

But Diane’s shock turns to fear as we see that King was weakened by using such power.

Gloxinia wraps thorned vines around Diane’s body, moving to finish her off before King can attack again.

King changes Chastiefol to its 2nd form, Increase, slashing the vines off of her with the daggers.

But the original Fairy King reconstructs the clone, confirming it’s meant to be a facsimile of Gerharde.

King says it’s fine for the clone to be in the air like it is, so he can target it with the 1st form of Chastiefol, the giant spear he used to destroy Albion. The clone is vaporized by the force of the attack, Gloxinia admitting defeat on her side.

Diane is worried about King, the Fairy King thinking he’s won. But Dolor’s doppelganger attacks him, the giantess moving to get him out of danger.

The chapter ends as she’s resolved to help him, since he put himself in so much danger to keep her safe.

World Trigger 135

We see a flashback from Reghindetz, seeing Hyrein, Viza and Rambanein, who are tasked with suppressing the Mother Trigger. He’s left behind, since he’s wounded and paralyzed with fear

He reiterates his request to Hyuse: capture Yotaro as a prisoner so they can be sure he’s loyal to Aftokrator. Also, the major point is to shift attention back to Aftokrator, since Meeden would otherwise target Galopoula as the attackers in the recent skirmish.

Reghindetz won’t let Hyuse on the ship otherwise, the Neighbor pulling out a Scorpion and stabbing Yotaro through the chest.

But his doesn’t change Reghindetz’s mind, only reinforcing his notion that the Aftokrator Neighbors are monsters, doing such things to a child. He tells Hyuse that they were told by his superiors to kill any Aftokrator prisoners, suggesting that he was abandoned by his country.

Yotaro wonders if this means Hyuse can’t go back, revealing he wasn’t hurt, the next panel showing that Hyuse altered the Scorpion’s shape at the last minute to make it look like he attacked him.

Reghindetz is enraged at being deceived, but Hyuse thinks Reghindetz lied to him as well. The Neighbor unleashes his Trigger, Thugater, to oppose Hyuse, who uses Lampyris.

Hyuse’s power is overwhelming, Reghindetz pinned to the ground and defeated in a few moves by Lampyris, Bailing Out as he’s shown Aftokrator’s immense ability.

Jin meets up with the 2, noting how they did well.

Hyuse brings up the bet that he and Jin made in regards to Tamakoma 2 winning or losing their last Rank war and invokes his request: that Jin get Hyuse to Aftokrator.

Jin agrees, taking him back to headquarters, telling him that he’ll show Hyuse the squad he’s joining; very likely to be Tamakoma 2.

Magi 297

Alibaba is shown to have successfully negotiated with Balbadd to have Kou’s teleportation circle used in their city.

His next location is Magnostadt, where he wants to investigate how the magic teleportation circles are so advanced, since it was the most well known magic city in the world.

But Magnostadt has changed drastically, much less dependent on magic tools than it was 3 years ago.

Yamraiha, the chancellor of the academy, explains that they’re still doing research and such, getting funds from various trading companies. But they’re using urban planning and creating more job opportunities by not having everything run through magic tools as it was before, which created a serious dearth of jobs for those without magic power and even exploitation of them

She’s confused about the use of such a tool, but Alibaba says that you don’t need to be a magician to use it. This makes the magician astonished, since if such technology was improved and mass produced, you could have a whole society of Household Vessel users

Alibaba agrees, thinking that such use would revolutionize the world, only further confirmed by Yamraiha explaining how only 3 people in the world: Judar, Scheherazade/Titus and Yunan could use the magic themselves without a magic tool of sorts like Koumei’s Dantalion.

After getting her permission to have a magic circle in Magnostadt, Alibaba asks about Aladdin’s whereabouts, the magician saying that she and Sinbad both were in contact with him, but he disappeared mysteriously and they couldn’t find any leads.

Yamraiha notes that she’s a bit concerned about Kou’s use of magic tools, but also thinks that with the world changing so much, they still need to advance in research, saying that she’ll collaborate in a project to improve the magic tools in the future.

The next location for Alibaba is Heliohapt, where Sharrkan, his former master, is now the king. Yamraiha continues to bicker with him even 3 years later.

The chapter ends as Alibaba sees Sharrkan, scared of the giant snakes behind him.

Bleach 666

Askin is amazed that Grimmjow is healed, Urahara explaining that he healed him, since the Arrancar’s reiatsu changes to Hollow instead of a hybrid when they use Resurrecion.

The Death Dealing is shocked that Kisuke thought that far ahead, but he responds that this is war: he has to consider every possibility and plan for it, even if it’s just something he’s curious about.

The Quincy starts to die, Grimmjow seemingly finishing him off.

But the Gift Ball Deluxe starts to get more intense, Askin leaving them with parting words that explain that his power intensifies when he dies, thinking that Kisuke might still get out of this alive with all his skillful means.

We see Neliel outside the Gift Ball, thinking that Urahara told her about this possibility, finding the exit he made and leaping towards it, seemingly to save him.

Urahara falls unconscious, saying he has to leave the rest to Ichigo and Rukia.

We shift back to the fight with Gerard, Toushirou nearly hit by the Miracle, but Byakuya distracting him briefly. Toushirou makes a joke regarding his height and the summit they have to reach, but Byakuya doesn’t laugh, trying to give the Soul Reaper some recognition that fails.

Gerard moves to attack the two, but his arm is chopped off, the chapter ending as we see Kenpachi, healed up by Mayuri’s technology, ready to fight and making light of the two being so friendly.

One Piece 820

It’s revealed by Dogstorm and Catviper that they were on Gol D. Roger’s ship at some point, along with Whitebeard’s before that. The two were around the same age as Shanks, having known him at some point and recognizing the straw hat he used to wear on Luffy.

The two reminisce about the journeys and adventures they had, their rivalry forgotten for the moment.

Kinemon and the others explain that Wano is isolationist, leaving its borders a crime that Oden opposed, a revolutionary thinker in his time. The others explain how they’re connected to Gol D. Roger’s crew as well, Franky’s master the shipwright of the Oro Jackson and Brook an acquaintance of Crocus, the doctor on the Pirate King’s crew that kept him alive and knew Laboon, Brook’s friend.

Nami’s concerned about their route, since they’re not even following the Log Poses anymore, Dogstorm says that they’ve gone slightly out of order in regards to how you’re supposed to get to Raftel, which is where the routes all lead up to. But Gol D. Roger’s method was unorthodox anyway, since he didn’t need to go to Ohara to learn how to read the Poneglyphs.

Dogstorm confirms that they’re on the right track, Luffy complimenting his navigator.

The group decides they need to find more power, Kinemon and Catviper saying they were searching for Marco, the former leader of Whitebeard’s 1st division.

He fought against Blackbeard’s crew with his captain’s remnants and they’re not sure if he survived. The battle was a great loss for Marco, cementing Blackbeard’s position as a Yonkou.

Raizou is greeted by the Minks who are so happy he’s safe that they want to have another banquet, the ninja crying in happiness.

Everyone decides that they need to split up to find the people in question, Luffy, Nami, Chopper and Brook going to help Sanji, while Catviper and his men will go to find Marco. Their meeting place will be Wano, Robin asking Luffy to get a copy of the Road Poneglyph Big Mom has.

But the chapter ends as Jack starts to attack Zunishia, the island shaking as Luffy hears a voice.

Toriko 363

Don Slime realizes it’s unlikely he beat NEO that easily, slashing him again as he tries to attack from behind.

Acacia’s Gourmet Cell Demon eats the severed arm and regenerates it, Don Slime thinking they won’t end this battle until one of them accepts defeat.

He rains countless attacks on the Gourmet Cell Demon, mashing him into paste and assaulting him with meteors, but he keeps coming back.

Don Slime starts to piece it together after the last attack, releasing the force of a nuclear bomb: NEO was eating his attacks, the undying Gourmet Cell Demon starting to eat Don Slime’s body as well, Ichiryuu’s Gourmet Cell Demon starting to realize he might die here, since NEO isn’t breaking down like others who’ve eaten his body in the past.

The chapter ends as he says that he’ll take them down together, starting to generate Appetite Energy to release in a final attack.

Fairy Tail 477

Natsu is still recovering, while the rest of Fairy Tail in the center celebrate the defeat of another one of the Spriggans, 7 remaining.

Mavis is uncertain about the 2 Spriggans in the east, since their magic signals have stopped moving.

But suddenly, the doors open to reveal Jacob Lessio, the Assassin mage.

August deduced the magic radar and camouflaged their positions.

The Spriggan explains that in Arakitashia, it’s Respect For The Aged Day, so he decided to go ahead of August to lighten his load a bit out of concern and admiration for the old mage.

He asks for some alcohol, but Makarov refuses.

Jacob brags about his skill in assassination, saying that he doesn’t even need to conceal himself against Fairy Tail.

With a clap of his hands, everyone in the guild disappears. The Assassin Mage even perceives Mavis, somehow affecting her with his powers and torturing her for the location of her body.

But before he can go further, Lucy bursts in, kicking Jacob in the head.

She noted that it was space magic that he used, Horologium keeping her and Happy safe when he used the spell on the guild.

The Celestial Spirit notes he won’t be able to use that ability again for a while.

Jacob tells her it would’ve been better if she’d just been taken with everyone else. He changes the conditions, noting that he’ll kill Lucy instead of Mavis unless she reveals where Fairy Heart is.

The Spriggan throws a knife at Lucy, but Natsu blocks it, having recovered enough to fight.

The chapter ends as the Flame Dragon Slayer stands off against the Assassin Spriggan to protect Lucy.
