Seems like we’re behind with Magi, so 2 chapters this time, and they might be related to the preferred scanlation group, because the quality is pretty good

Dr. Stone 8

Taiju starts to explain what he was going to say to Yuzuriha before the petrification incident occurred. But he instead decides that Yuzuriha will hear his confession after they restore humanity and civilization (meaning that whole romance subplot is tabled for now)

He then explains the situation, how he and Senkuu were revived after 3700+ years, then revived Tsukasa, who started to smash petrified people and that they now have to stop him.

Senkuu then reveals that they have the 3 ingredients needed to make gunpowder: sulfur from the hot-springs volcanic area, charcoal from burning wood and saltpeter from the cave where they had the nitric acid, which he had to prepare ahead of time.

With the right mix, they start to mix it, though Yuzuriha and Senkuu are worried that Taiju smashing it with a rock might ignite it. But Senkuu realizes that being in a volcanic area means there might be iron mixed in and Taiju inadvertently causes an explosion that they narrowly dodge.

Yuzuriha thinks of a funny situation of Tsukasa being burned, though Senkuu notes it could kill him, so instead of fighting him directly, they’ll make an exchange, since Tsukasa isn’t beyond reasoning and he did note that he wanted a fair exchange for his promise not to destroy statues when Taiju tried to reason with him.

But if things go badly, then things may come to a life or death battle with Tsukasa.

Yuzuriha sees a signal fire in the distance, which thankfully isn’t in the direction they came from, so it suggests there are other people besides them that managed to break free from petrification

In spite of the risk it poses, since Tsukasa is likely following them, Senkuu tells Taiju to relight a fire to signal to the other group of people as the chapter ends.

We Can’t Study 11

Furuhashi comes out of the shower, ready to start studying. But she gets on the scale and is shocked to find that she’s gained weight. The next day, she wonders why this has happened, but Takemoto and Rizu offering her snacks makes her realize this is likely the cause.

She asks them why they just constantly eat, thinking they should be worried about getting fat, though Takemoto says she doesn’t really gain weight, likely because of her swimming enthusiasm.

Fumino then resolves to cut down on her snacking, but is tempted each day by the others bringing in various food, like pudding, cheese tart and even eel udon.

Her weight hasn’t really changed, but she’s thrown out of her worries by Yuiga, who she’s alone with studying. He’s slightly worried about her being so distracted, but her stomach grumbling is audible to them both

Yuiga offers her some candy, but she still resists, insisting that she’s going to be made fun of.

He insists that she’s fine, but Fumino pulls up her shirt to expose her stomach, Yuiga hesitantly touching it to satisfy her worries.

As she asks him what he thinks, he says something she misinterprets to mean he said she’s fat, Yuiga trying to salvage the situation, but holds back, because he’s worried she’ll just take it badly.

Fumino rushes into a convenience store to get midnight snacks for studying, Yuiga thinking this might be the culprit all along.

The chapter ends as she resolved to just eat harusame, which is less intense on sugar, her weight resolving to normal overall.

Black Clover 107

People are still cheering on the Magic Knights, but the applause dies down significantly as the king of the Clover Kingdom, A. Keera Clover, appears.

He tries to garner more attention, but it fails utterly, the Wizard King still maintaining more popularity with the people. Even the Golden Dawn getting #1 makes the king angry, since they outranked the squad with members of the royal family.

The king still has a trick up his sleeve, announcing that they know where the Eye of the Midnight Sun is located and will form a squad of the most elite, the Royal Knights, with an examination in a week.

But Asta blurts out that he finds it odd that the king would choose rather than the Wizard King, since the King seems to have some magic power, but doesn’t use it for the sake of the people, even suggesting he has an aura of pettiness.

The king is infuriated at this, ordering them to be executed, but Julius pacifies him, noting that he’s being overly immature about this and that the two might become part of the Royal Knights in the future. He tells the people he’s confident that the Royal Knights will have a great importance in the war.

Afterwards, Julius warns Yuno and Asta that they need to be careful, since there are many powerful Magic Knights they’ll have to compete with.

The two of them are heading back, but the chapter ends as we see the new Crimson Lions’ captain punches Leopold in the face, demanding to know why they only placed 5th, even threatening to kill them in her anger, Asta thrown off at the situation they’re suddenly in.

Boku no Hero Academia 135

Nighteye begins to explain things, Deku’s group still confused, especially since Aizawa is also in the group of pro Heroes, having been asked recently to join.

Bubble Girl explains that their agency has been investigating the Eight Precepts of Death after the suspicious association they had with the Reservoir Dogs. Centipeder, another sidekick (who was the winner of a recent fan contest), says that there’s been an increase in communication both within and outside the organization since he’s been investigating them over the last year.

Of particular interest is the meeting with Twice and the Villain Alliance being connected by association, which is why Gran Torino has been pulled into this meeting.

Bubble Girl brings up the HN, the Hero Network, which is an internet service that those with a Pro license can use and have their services be requested by others. Some of the other pro Heroes think that the Yuuei students are still a liability, but Fatgum notes that Kirishima and Amajiki are witnesses to something important for the Eight Precepts of Death and their plan.

Because Fatgum knows about the marketing of illegal goods and how the yakuza group is connected with that, the existence of this new drug that erases Quirks, albeit temporarily, Suneater able to use his ability again, is something that’s concerning to the Heroes.

Eraserhead explains that his Quirk is different from the dart’s effect, since he can only stop someone from utilizing the Quirk temporarily, whereas the dart does damage directly to the Quirk factor itself, though it recovers over time with rest.

After analyzing the dart that Kirishima blocked, they found human blood and cells, meaning it’s connected to someone’s Quirk, quite possibly Eri from Overhaul’s custody.

One of the Heroes asks how this directly connects to the Eight Precepts of Death, .Fatgum explaining that there is a connection after you break down the web of distribution that exists with the drugs, one of the groups that Ryukyu caught with her agency a medium to avoid association.

It’s still not clear that the underworld organization is directly connected, but with the knowledge of Chisaki’s Quirk, also called Overhaul, which can disassemble and reassemble any target, they think he might be using Eri’s blood and cells to create the bullets.

If things advance enough, they could perfect the bullets to completely erase a Quirk.

Deku and Mirio are the most frustrated in all of this, since they had the chance to resolve the whole issue, Nighteye taking full responsibility for delaying that.

The chapter ends as Deku and Mirio say they won’t fail Eri next time, the plan revealed by Nighteye to be rescuing the girl

Magi 343-344

Sinbad still insists that his survival in spite of him seemingly being absorbed by the rukh means that Solomon, or someone even higher than him, thought he was destined to become a god.

Aladdin wonders why he suddenly regards Arba and David as his friends, Sinbad saying it’s because they think alike, even if he knows they would stab him in the back given the opportunity.

Sinbad then notes that Aladdin can stop him by force but that would be going against Solomon’s will, which Aladdin was an emissary of.

Aladdin insists he’s not from Alma Torran, that he’s a member of this world, since he really wasn’t raised in Alma Torran to begin with.

They begin the fight anew as Sinbad wonders if the Magi is doubting himself

Alibaba and Arba enter Furfur’s dungeon, Arba not in any hurry, unable to even hear the voice of Ill Illah.

But Alibaba mentions that he might have encountered Ill Illah when he was sent there by Belial’s magic, Arba in disbelief at such a thing being possible, even with the hole opened up in Magnostadt making the dimensional barriers weaker.

Alibaba thinks the place he arrived at was like an afterlife, many people from Alma Torran there.

Arba demands to know if Ill Illah said anything about her, Alibaba saying he met him by chance after Hakuryuu defeated him.

There were many other people who had been there for much longer, but Alibaba’s memories being still fresh in his mind made him different from them.

The sheer amount of people was such that Alibaba can’t count them.

As the chapter ends, we learn from the people involved that Alibaba has been sucked into Ill Illah.

The next chapter begins as Alibaba is still trying to process things, but begins to figure out that these are the people from Aladdin’s depiction of Alma Torran.

He recognizes many of them, and is confused as they’re piling up rocks, seemingly nothing else to do, unable to escape at all from the inside of Ill Illah, which is not so much an afterlife as a dimension within Ill Illah, it seems.

Someone brings up that David was able to escape, Alibaba thinking it’s possible he could do it as well.

David was initially absorbed into Ill Illah after his rukh became black like the others when the black hole incident occurred in Alma Torran.

Everyone else started to lose all feelings, but David was still motivated by his beliefs and his speculation about how to bring about Ill Illah’s revival by connecting with Sinbad.

Eventually a space opened up and David left to merge with Sinbad, commenting that the deaths of those in Alma Torran was part of this plan

The sheer strength of his convictions seemed to be connected to how he escaped, that will to continue on being what kept him stable compared to the others who became apathetic.

The others still insist that Alibaba can’t escape, but Alibaba refuses to believe that, the chapter concluding as everyone still thinks he’s an anomaly like David, still wanting to get out.

Seven Deadly Sins 214

King moves to kill Rou, who drops Gerharde, wanting her to be safe from the attack.

But as King remembers Elaine telling him how Ban provoked him on purpose back when they were in the Land of the Dead, he holds back, saying he can’t kill Rou

He then sees Rou cut down at the waist, Gloxinia in reality having lost himself to his anger and killed the human.

King awakens from the trial, Gloxinia noting that his choice was different. He even beats himself up over his failure to protect his sister or even check if she was still alive, just assuming she was already dead.

King insists he’s no better, Gloxinia asking why he made that choice to spare Rou, King saying that he understands that Rou and everyone he’s fought, such as Hendricksen, has come from various circumstances and aren’t truly evil.

Gloxinia appreciates his naivety, but thinks there is truly evil in the world. King agrees, which is why he’ll continue to fight against it.

King asks whether the trial was real or just an illusion, Gloxinia explaining that it was quite real and if he had died, his body would have followed suit in the real world. The only reason he shifted back was because he made a choice that was different from how things actually occurred and he was forcefully ejected out of the trial.

There has been some growth from King, better able to use the Spirit Spear now. But he seems to be overwhelmed by pain (possibly his wings growing) as Diane is still in the trial, not yet returned.

We see Diane preparing to leave, but Gowther notices an immense killing intent, having been noticed by the Ten Commandments as breaking out of prison.

It’s Zeldris, called the Executioner, pursuing his target as he approaches Dolor and Gowther, the chapter concluding on this imminent fight.

One Piece 863

We flashback to Luffy explaining his plan, putting a mirror inside the cake so the group can leap from the Mirror World into the cake, destroying it in the process. And with Brulee’s ability to project a reflection of something onto another thing, she makes the multiple Luffys, putting his image onto various animals as she did before, which Luffy managed to catch.

In the present, some people are thinking this turn of events is interesting, but Morgans recognizes the person as Luffy, one of the Worst Generation

The cake starts to fall down as Big Mom is furious at Luffy for ruining her giant sweet treat. She demands another cake, Morgans recognizing the ability as Soul Pocus, what she used on Muscato before, drawing out the life force of anyone who’s afraid of death.

In the Mirror World, the group is ready to head out after the last Luffy clone has been sent out, leaving the rest to Caesar for the escape.

Big Mom is trying to find out who the real Luffy is, Luffy responding to her as she demands to know where he is, to Bege’s shock.

They spot the portrait, Bege’s men ready to fire the poison gas dart launcher at the moment of its destruction.

As Luffy readies his attack, Dogtooth stops him, seemingly stretching out his leg that makes Luffy stick to it.

Dogtooth mentions how Luffy is targeting the Mother Carmel picture (it’s Carmel not Caramel in the Japanese, my mistake)

The others are ready to move, Jinbe attacking as Dogtooth blocks, revealing he’s a Logia type with the Mochi Mochi Fruit, making him especially sticky, though it can be negated with water

Jinbe tells Big Mom that he intends to leave and that he’ll accept her punishment of taking his lifespan if she promises to not harm anyone else.

Big Mom uses her Soul Pocus again, but Jinbe isn’t affected, not afraid of the Yonkou in the slightest, since he plans to join the crew of the future Pirate King.

Jinbe then offers a cup of sake as they break their bonds, Big Mom attacking him with Zeus and Prometheus.

The chapter ends as someone else, disguised with a scarecrow mask, smashes the picture of Mother Carmel, laughing in Brook’s tone to suggest who he is.

Fairy Tail 531

Acnologia is still pursuing Christina, the group at the helm wondering if he’ll continue to follow them.

Wendy talks to Anna, saying she wants to remember, but can’t, Anna telling her that she will in time.

Jellal voices concerns about Anna, but Erza thinks they can trust her.

They’re reaching the Ravines of Time, razor thing precision needed in order to avoid being sucked into it.

Managing to pass through, the group awaits Acnologia’s demise, but the Apocalypse Dragon seems to go into the Ravines of Time and comes out, untouched and grappling with the ship.

Anna realizes to her shock, that the Ravines of Time have been closed.

Zeref explains to Natsu that he was the one to find the Ravines of Time, and that he plans to use the immense time magic in it, but he wants it to be sealed until that moment.

The group, in a desperate attempt to get Acnologia off, smashes the Lacryma that allowed Dragon Slayers to not get sick, managing to push him away.

Anna says they need to pull the Ravines of Time open and finish Acnologia off

Gray, Lucy and Happy open the Book of END, magical characters flying outward, Lucy realizing something about them related to Natsu.

Natsu is still unable to effectively fight Zeref, but Mavis appears, saying she will stop Zeref

But Natsu breaks free, seemingly activating his Dragon Force as the chapter ends with him telling Mavis to step back, that he’ll fight Zeref
