One Piece is off this week

Tsunehiro Date brings us a new Jump Start this week, Cross Account. Our main character tries to present himself as normal, but on his other social media account, he’s gathered many follows. One in particular encourages him to stop lying to himself and he saves his friend from being molested by other otaku. We find out that it’s very likely that his first crush he confessed to his follower about is that follower, a popular idol singer.

Poro’s Daily Demon Diary, a Jump Start that ran right after U19, was cancelled in this week’s issue. I’m curious if it has anything to do with Hunter X Hunter’s return, though I’m skeptical if it will last more than a few months at most

Dr. Stone 16

Senkuu reiterates his plan to meet up with the group that lit the signal fires before, but he’s worried that they may encounter Tsukasa.

As Tsukasa is heading off elsewhere, he does meet one of them, a blue eyed blonde girl. But Tsukasa thinks he can’t let his guard down as she rushes at him, using a bouquet of flowers to hide daggers and a shield.

Tsukasa wonders who she is to have this kind of fighting talent, the girl not listening to his excuses, saying she knows that he’s evil in spite of only seeing things from a distance, seemingly having visual acuity that’s far beyond a normal human.

But the girl referring to Senkuu, who she saw get killed, as a sorcerer, and the explosions as the wrath of the mountain makes Tsukasa think she must not be someone who was revived from petrification, but someone actually born in this world from others who were revived.

He doesn’t want to kill her, chopping down a tree to pin her down as he leaves for the nitric acid cave.

Senkuu comes across the girl, asking if she’s okay or if he should blast her free with the last of his gunpowder. She says her organs are fine and that she can endure.

With some perseverance and ingenuity Senkuu puts together a series of pulleys, allowing him to pull the tree off the girl.

She’s amazed at his abilities, introducing herself as Kohaku and saying she may have fallen in love with him as the chapter ends on Senkuu’s shocked reaction

We Can’t Study 19

Yuiga asks Fumino if she knows why Rizu and Uruka’s grades have dropped, Fumino hesitating to tell him directly about the two of them having feelings for him. Instead she decides to pose it as a problem of a woman’s heart that Yuiga has to figure out for himself.

Uruka confides in her friends about the concern of Yuiga having a girlfriend, but they tell her that she should just try to make him focus on her to get his attention and win him over

Yuiga is thinking to himself that with Fumino’s advice about considering Rizu and Uruka’s feelings that he might’ve gotten too close with them, embarrassed at the idea and wanting to maintain a professional distance.

Uruka appears, her friends’ suggestions of opening her blouse a bit more to show cleavage and shorten her skirt by 3cm having a mixed effect, both her and Yuiga embarrassed as they decide to walk home together.

The two of them have the exact opposite intents, Uruka wanting to close the distance, while Yuiga wants to increase it. They keep trying to get closer and further, eventually getting lost as they weren’t paying attention to where they were going.

Coming across a shrine for academic and romantic success, they both go to pay a visit.

It starts to rain, making them unable to leave. Yuiga asks Uruka about her praying really hard at the shrine, Uruka confessing it was romantic luck she wanted rather than the academic.

Uruka lies back, following her friends’ advice to act defenseless by acting like she’s asleep, thinking that will draw Yuiga’s attention.

Meanwhile, Yuiga is still confused at the situation, not only because Uruka has implied she has someone she likes but her being in such a state that he has to resist his urges to look at her with lewd thoughts.

Uruka feels something like Yuiga petting her head, but then what seems to be licking as she panics, sitting up to discover that three of the stray cats in the area want food from her.

The pair walks down the steps as the rain stops, Yuiga bringing up Uruka’s outfit and how it’s making him nervous, suggesting that she should only wear that in front of the guy she likes, dangerous otherwise (which is better than just telling her to dress modestly all the time, which can be a Japanese stereotype that is mixed in its message). Uruka agrees, the chapter ending as Yuiga notices a few days later that her grades are going up and Fumino wonders if she’s gotten over her insecurities

Black Clover 115

It seems like Asta will be struck by the attacks from the three Magic Knights, but suddenly three barriers appear, reflecting the attacks back at their users, used by the fake Zaks.

Curtis barely managed to defend the crystal, which has a few cracks in it now. “Zaks” moves to destroy the crystal at point blank range

Zaks is about to attack, but Curtis curses his own weakness, losing to someone who insulted the Wizard King. But “Zaks” retorts that losing to someone like him means that Curtis and his bunch aren’t fit to be Magic Knights, needing to be able to account for various situations.

Mimosa notices that “Zaks” is using Ash magic, meaning that the paralysis trap wasn’t Curtis’ doing, but “Zaks’”. It seems like “Zaks” doesn’t intend to destroy the crystal, saying he has another goal, but turns around and smashes the crystal anyway, ensuring their team’s victory

As the other team is being healed, “Zaks” compliments Asta and Mimosa for being a good distraction, but Asta is infuriated, asking why “Zaks” would trick them like that.

“Zaks” says that they won, so Asta shouldn’t be so bitter, since he served well to draw the attacks that were then reflected and allowed him to destroy the opposing team’s crystal.

Mimosa further analyzes “Zaks’” spell, something he must’ve prepared ahead of time to first paralyze whoever stepped into it and then reflect the spells that came into its area a certain amount of time afterwards.

She’s amazed that he did such a thing, asking how he managed it when he was supposed to be asleep, “Zaks” just saying he needs to be mysterious as a man.

Magna and Sol appear, saying they need to fight on this stage next.

The chapter ends as their third member introduces themselves, Kirsch Vermillion, who Mimosa reveals is her older brother and thus both the cousin of Noelle and Meleoleona’s family as well (the situation is complicated, siblings shared on each side of the family without it being incestuous to my knowledge)

Black Clover will be off next week: thankfully it’s nothing serious, Tabata-sensei is apparently having some asthma problems, which will hopefully be resolved by the following issue

Boku no Hero Academia 143

Amajiki ties up and lightly poisons the three Bullets that he defeated, but as he leaves to catch up with the others, he faints, seemingly weakened enough by the battle to not be able to fight anymore

Kirishima and Deku are still slightly worried about Suneater, but Fatgum encourages them, saying they can’t waste the time he’s given them.

Aizawa wonders why Mimic hasn’t chased after them, thinking he can’t perceive this far away, only merging with the underground and having to peek out with his real body in order to manipulate things to get in their way, also occupied by the police squad that followed behind them.

Mimic, appearing out of the wall to look below, is surprised that the three Bullets lost against Suneater, but says they have someone else that’ll pose a real threat.

Meanwhile, the members captured by Bubble Girl and Centipeder tell her that their group isn’t really a Villain group, following the yakuza code. They think that Overhaul’s changed from what the original boss was like, becoming more like a Villain, but nonetheless thinking he won’t get captured

Aizawa is targeted by Mimic, manifesting a pillar to try and hit him, Fatgum getting in the way to take the blow so the others can continue ahead.

Fatgum discovers Kirishima also tried to cover for Aizawa, getting sucked into Fatgum temporarily.

Kirishima narrowly manages to block a series of blows from another assailant. Fatgum sees him beaten up, barely standing, as he attacks in return.

But another member manifests a barrier, protecting the attacker, called Rappa (Japanese for ruffian).

Fatgum takes another flurry of blows from Rappa, damaged more than he thought, the combo especially dangerous, since he and Kirishima are more defensive oriented.

The barrier user comments as much, referring to their combo as a spear and shield while Kirishima and Fatgum are merely a shield and shield, though he says Kirishima in spite of his Unbreakable Mode, seems to be lacking as a shield.

Kirishima starts to doubt himself, but Fatgum says they can’t give up, needing to win this fight and join up with the others as the chapter ends

Magi 352

Alibaba unleashes Amol Saiqa, but David regenerates the damage almost immediately, similar to when Aladdin, Hakuryuu and Alibaba fought Sinbad in the Baal dungeon.

David says he will finish what Sinbad started, Alibaba and the others vowing to stop him

However, David targets Aladdin, who narrowly pushes away his attacks. He wonders if David wants to get Solomon’s Wisdom from him, but thinks that wouldn’t make sense if he’s already the master of the Sacred Palace.

David comments that he feels nothing for Aladdin in spite of him being his grandson (on Solomon’s side), saying he must kill him.

But before he can attack again, Sinbad bursts out of David, along with Arba, splitting him in half

Ugo wonders why this happened, Sinbad saying he had plans in case David betrayed him.

It seems the power of the 7 Djinn under Sinbad’s control allowed him to invert the power hierarchy again.

David comments that his opponents are impressive, but Sinbad asks him why he’d even bother to appear before them when all he needed to do was activate the magic to return everything to the rukh.

Arba thinks that David wouldn’t be this direct, wanting to contain them in the Sacred Palace instead. She concludes that this means David’s real body must be somewhere else.

Aladdin plans to use Solomon’s Wisdom and escape, but David moves to stop them

Suddenly black bolts of lightning strike David as Judal and Hakuryuu appear to support the others, all of them attacking David to allow Aladdin to escape.

The chapter ends as Aladdin teleports out with Solomon’s Wisdom, moving to find David’s true body.

Seven Deadly Sins 222

Elizabeth is still confused at Zeldris’ revelation, the Piety explaining that she’s been cursed to reincarnate and lose all her memories, always meeting with Meliodas again. He notes it’s happened nearly 50 times now.

But to his shock, Elizabeth seems very happy, the one thing she’s wanted to be true actually the case. She thinks that Meliodas suffered more because of the curse than her, someone that he always tried to stay by and help.

Zeldris says if she wants to know so bad, he’ll show her the depth of her sins, seemingly attacking her.

But we shift to the physical world, Ban, Diane and King all running to the Boar’s Hat as they see a flash of light.

Merlin explains that Elizabeth broke Zeldris’ spell that had her in a deep sleep, thanking her and Escanor for helping in their own ways, though Escanor still wonders about what Merlin meant when she said Arthur was her hope

Elizabeth rebuffs Meliodas’ attempts to talk to her, saying she wants to be alone for a while. Hawk finds her downstairs, crying, but she says she’s not sad, truly happy about the knowledge that she’s been this close to Meliodas all these centuries.

We see the Seven Deadly Sins bid farewell to everyone in Liones, ready to take Camelot back from the Ten Commandments.

Merlin says it won’t be that easy, a massive dimensional distortion making her unable to teleport in or use Absolute Cancel

But she knows where the distortion is being generated from, somewhere in the vicinity of the stronghold Corand, destroyed many years ago.

Gowther observes they’ll be going through another familiar place, wanting to stop by on their way.

King thinks he’s heard the name, but finds he can’t contact Helbram.

The friend of Harlequin is speaking to Elaine, which they both acknowledge is an indication that Elaine isn’t quite alive anymore, but not quite dead either.

Where they’re heading is also important to them, which suggests it may be the Fairy King’s Forest or the Land of the Dead.

The chapter ends as Elaine comments that she’s worried about what will happen when Ban realizes who lies ahead of them on their journey, Merascylla seemingly still alive after Ban was said to have killed her by Estarossa.

Fairy Tail 540

Natsu realizes that he’s before Acnologia, looking around to see Wendy and the other Dragon Slayers encased in crystal pillars.

Acnologia explains that after eating the Ravines of Time, he’s utilized the time-space magic to control the pocket dimension, planning to destroy the rest of the world and finish off all the Dragons here

Meanwhile, Erza and the others are shocked at Wendy’s disappearance, noticing that Acnologia’s heading for Magnolia.

Ichiya and Anna appear from the cracks in the Ravines of Time, their survival another surprise to the group.

But Anna realizes something after Erza tells her that Acnologia seemingly absorbed Wendy, thinking that the Apocalypse Dragon has lost control of the power he acquired from eating the time space magic

Now his body and soul are separate, his physical form rampaging through the world causing massive destruction, while his soul is in the Ravines of Time using the magic of the captured Dragon Slayers to stabilize his own powers

Anna says they can’t do anything now but believe that the Dragon Slayers will survive, Erza moving to swim towards Magnolia. Mest appears, saying they’ll work together to protect their hometown.

We see Natsu being slowly covered by crystals as Acnologia is nearing completion with his plan.

Mest and Erza teleport near Lucy, explaining that Natsu is alive, but Erza is stunned to see that Makarov is alive.

Natsu finds he can’t even move his right arm, Acnologia saying that he was lucky to only have crippled that arm in his fight against Zeref.

The group in the physical world thinks that their friends won’t lose even if things seem hopeless here, all the Exceed especially confident in their Dragon Slayer partners.

Natsu continues to struggle and is shocked to see that he can move, Wendy and the other Dragon Slayers freed through the connections they have to their friends, crossing space and time to give them newfound power to start their fight against Acnologia.

The chapter ends as we see the 7 Dragon Slayers stand off against Acnologia, who says he’ll have to teach them why he’s called the Dragon King

WSR 6-12-17

Disclaimer: These aren’t official translations, merely scanlations. Buy localized or original manga to support the author if at all possible. Know the difference between piracy/theft and sharing without personal profit.

Next new Jump Start is Shuudan by Yokota Takuma, author of Straighten Up. Now we have even more competition for sports manga, this one being soccer based.

U19, a series that had an interesting premise and setting of dystopian Japan where the adults oppress children, sadly got cancelled in Jump this issue, which makes me think cancellation may be in the cards for another series with this recent pattern.  22 series or so is usually the limit in Jump

Dr. Stone 15

Taiju and Yuzuriha are still calling out to Senkuu, but as the rain stops, they’re worried they might be attracting Tsukasa’s attention with the noise.

But Senkuu returns to consciousness, praising his friends for figuring things out. He emphasizes they should move on, not focusing so much on being thankful that they don’t progress otherwise.

Yuzuriha pulls out a flag that she put together that she thinks looks like a rocket, something that Senkuu could use as a symbol.

She also moves to splint his neck, though Senkuu insists he’s fine, Taiju amazed that the petrification managed to heal in this situation, referring to it as a Dr. Stone of sorts

Senkuu thinks to himself that it is odd, suggesting that what turned them to stone may not have been an attack, possibly even having some restorative properties in some respect.

Yuzuriha wonders if they could still heal those who are broken statues, Senkuu getting an idea from that.

He tells her his plan, which she thinks is risky, Taiju asking directly what it is.

Senkuu explains that since Tsukasa thinks he’s dead, that Taiju and Yuzuriha should join him and infiltrate his new country as spies for Senkuu to get information on him.

The details of the plan are something only Yuzuriha knows, Taiju told to focus on protecting her.

Taiju’s worried about Tsukasa possibly getting access to more things, wondering how Senkuu will get his resources to fight against him with a new scientific army. Senkuu responds that he intends to find those groups that set the signal fires, including the girl from before, to generate his own group.

The two split off, fighting on two fronts as they bid a brief farewell, Taiju trusting his friend. Stopping himself from screaming out beyond calling out Senkuu’s name, he holds up a fist

Senkuu takes the flag, tying it to a stick and vowing to bring forth the kingdom of science as the chapter ends

Very nice turn of events, especially because it allows for the cast to diversify without necessarily taking away from Taiju and Yuzuriha’s contributions as well as emphasizing what Yuzuriha is good at and can bring to this Stone World.

We Can’t Study 18

We see that Yuiga’s three students are all improving greatly in the areas they performed poorly at initially, the headmaster impressed at their growth.

Kobayashi and Oomori notice Yuiga smiling to himself, asking if he’s dating one of the three girls he tutors, which Yuiga thinks is absurd. Oomori even jokes that he would’ve gotten a kiss from them at this point if it were him, which makes Yuiga act odd, revealing that he did kiss someone implicitly.

Uruka’s walking down the hall studying her vocabulary when Oomori runs past her, furious that Yuiga got a kiss from a girl. She’s confused at this, later bringing it up when she and Yuiga are studying interrogative questions, asking him if he’s kissed a girl.

Yuiga asks how she even knows this, Uruka thinking he’s confirmed it as she runs off, saying she has to go to swimming practice.

We see her on the roof, getting a bit sad, though she blames herself for not acting before. Fumino approaches her, Uruka asking her about the love problems under the pretense of it being for a friend, though she’s blatantly obvious about it being her and Yuiga.

The revelation that Uruka has a crush on Yuiga is one thing, but Fumino’s also confused about him supposedly having a girlfriend. She encourages Uruka by saying they don’t know for certain he has a girlfriend, so her friend can keep pursuing him.

Uruka is grateful, hugging Fumino as Rizu finds them like that, a bit confused. As Takemoto goes to head back and study, they hear that the rumors regarding Yuiga have spun out of control, much more than just that he kissed a girl, suggesting they’ve been going steady or the like.

But Uruka tries to pretend she doesn’t care, Fumino worried how she’ll do on the upcoming tests.

Rizu drops her books, seemingly thinking that her kiss with Yuiga at the study retreat might’ve been revealed, Fumino curious as to why she’s acting like that.

The next day, Fumino’s scores are improving, but Takemoto and Rizu’s have both fell back down to single digits, Yuiga wondering what happened.

Fumino starts to piece things together, thinking both Rizu and Takemoto like Yuiga, divided between who she should cheer on.

The chapter ends as the headmaster says he needs to talk to Yuiga regarding the recent rumors and such, Yuiga worried what will happen next.

Black Clover 114

Asta yells at “Zachs”, saying he should help them, but he responds that he’s tired and can’t function without sleep, so it’s better for him to do this, not to mention he doesn’t really care if they win or not

Meanwhile, we see that the Crystal Magic user, Rick Cornell, can confirm whether someone is faking sleep or such, able to discern their condition accurately. The other two, Forte Gris and Curtis Warren, prepare to attack as we shift back to Asta’s group

Mimosa uses her Plant Magic to generate a map of the area, discerning the location of their opponents and that they’re generating more magic power to finish them off in the next assault.

Asta manages to get an idea of where the attack is coming from and counter attacks, cutting the blast down, to Mimosa’s shock.

She suggests they team up together, ignoring their lazy teammate and get to the enemy’s crystal to take them down while keeping their own crystal safe as well

The spectators are shocked that Asta’s group is doing such a reckless strategy, Yuno confident Asta won’t lose.

Rick Cornell is shocked that Asta and Mimosa have figured out their location and are able to push forward so well.

Mimosa reveals her attack magic, blasting at them with a laser from a flower she summons, blocked by a stone wall Curtis creates.

Forte and Curtis observe that Asta is dangerous in close range with his antimagic sword, so they decide to split up, trying to draw their attention between them.

Mimosa figures out that Forte has the crystal, but also observes that Rick and Curtis are generating their own powerful attacks.

With things as they are, Asta can’t defend against all three and any one attack would shatter their crystal.

But Asta is caught in a paralysis trap magic that one of them set, all three attacks coming at him as the chapter ends.

Boku no Hero Academia 142

The Cleansing Salvo is impressed at how well Suneater uses his Quirk, but says they’ll finish him off.

Amajiki thinks that he still has more he can utilize with how much he’s trained his Quirk; simultaneous manifestation, size variability and precise selection of which ability to use.

He unleashes Chimera Kraken, massive tentacles thrashing around, making it near impossible for Setsuno and Hojo to counterattack.

But Setsuno says now it’s time for Tabe to use his Food Quirk, which allows him to eat and consume things quickly and effectively, digesting it near instantly as well.

Amajiki realizes that Eraserhead knew that Tabe’s Quirk was the most dangerous against Suneater, so he took him out to allow him to defeat the others, but he thinks he can still fight.

Trying to make a defensive mask out of the crab qualities, it’s taken away by Setsuno’s Larceny

Hojo lands a solid blow, Amajiki barely able to react enough to defend, pushed back further.

Tabe is moving to eat again, Suneater manifesting the neurotoxin from the common octopus, but Setsuno steals the tentacle away, Hojo following it up with another attack, Suneater not able to fight as effectively

The Cleansing Salvo trio notes how they may be considered useless, but they have strong camaraderie under the Eight Precepts of Death. Each of them was seen as useless or was betrayed, now wanting to be of use to Chisaki in some way because of viewing him as their savior

Amajiki thinks this is more like brainwashing almost, but thinks he has a way to counter them.

He first knocks some debris at Setsuno’s eyes, blocking his vision so he can’t use Larceny, needing to see what he wants to steal. After seemingly consuming Hojo’s crystal and gaining some of its properties he uses him as a shield, knowing that Tabe wouldn’t eat someone he considers a friend, slamming both of them into the wall with his chicken leg

The chapter ends as he notes that he can’t understand their situation, but he does know they’re not without some goodness in them even now.

One Piece 869

As Luffy’s group moves to enter Bege’s castle form, Big Mom’s family and associates are scrambling around themselves, Du Feld, one of the underworld higher ups, coming across the Tamatebako

Brulee is pulled off Caesar’s back by Katakuri, the Mochi Man, along with Smoothie, Daifuku and Oven all attacking the Straw Hats before they can escape, grabbing Nami, Carrot and Chopper.

But Sanji motions to his family to help, the Germa 66 putting on their Raid Armor suits, able to ignore the flames that surround them, to Perospero’s shock.

Ichiji, Niji, Yonji and Reiju each attack one of the Big Mom family, Nami, Carrot and Chopper freed as they run towards Bege, Judge also going with Sanji into the Castle Man.

We see Du Feld try to open the Tamatebako, but another shockwave from Big Mom knocks him off the tower to his seeming demise.

Bege tries to attack Big Mom with his cannons, but Perospero creates a candy wall. And his efforts, along with Katakuri’s, make Bege unable to attack or move, using candy to stick him to the ground and mochi to block the cannons from firing.

The others inside Bege are mixed in their reactions, though Bege is especially concerned, since his castle body makes him more vulnerable now and if he dies from the damage, his allies are all lambs to the slaughter.

Bege reacts with immense pain as we see Big Mom is grappling with his castle body, even breaking parts of it, the chapter ending as she demands they all come out.

One Piece is on break next week

Magi 351

We see Katargo, a province of the Reim Empire, where the villagers seem to speak Torran from the previous world.

An angelic shaped figure comes out of a cage of black rukh that surrounds the area and slices down a massive sword, creating a black circle that seems to vaporize the people, draining their rukh away to some unknown location (possibly the Sacred Palace)

Back in the Sacred Palace, the others are confused at the magic that’s meant to return everyone to the rukh flow still working, Hakuryuu and Judar also appearing as Ugo speculates someone else is manipulating the system of the Sacred Palace

Aladdin asks if someone else could be doing it, though Ugo thinks it’s impossible, since Sinbad’s the guardian of the Sacred Palace ultimately.

But suddenly the ceiling is broken and we see David grab Ugo, revealing he’s still somehow above this world as a god

He explains to Ugo that he used the same magic Ugo did to change the positioning of gods in the hierarchy on Ill Illah in the past, stealing the guardian position from Sinbad and reactivating the magic.

It’s thanks to Ugo that David can build on that to create things as they are now. He comments that he used to view Sinbad as his God, but with Sinbad changing his mind, he thinks that Sinbad’s merely become another rock, someone who doesn’t want to move forward anymore to complete David’s plan

He reemphasizes that he will complete Sinbad’s plan in his place, summoning more angels across the world as Ugo is paralyzed with confusion.

The chapter ends as we see that Aladdin’s group has moved forward, saying they will stop David.

Seven Deadly Sins 221

Elizabeth’s older sister Margaret, Bartra’s eldest daughter, is told by her servants that she shouldn’t leave, but she insists that she must find Gilthunder and Vivian

Meliodas is impressed that Margaret would do such a thing but thinks it makes sense with Gilthunder being her lover and such.

He admires the view, Elizabeth saying she doesn’t remember being here with him when she was younger.

But Elizabeth brings up how she saw the past through Zaratras and that Liz, Meliodas’ lover, died around the same time that Elizabeth was found as a baby.

Meliodas tries to pass it off as a coincidence, but Elizabeth notes Diane and King’s mention of meeting someone that looked just like Elizabeth 3000 years ago, the Sin of Wrath reacting as if she’s coming closer to the truth.

Elizabeth admits the idea is still unthinkable to her, Meliodas noting she might be over-thinking this and needs to rest.

But Elizabeth also remembers that Derriere recognized her as someone else from 3000 years ago, everything seemingly linked together to the past and something she doesn’t know.

Meliodas still plays dumb, claiming he doesn’t remember anything regarding that, Elizabeth leaving him as she says she trusts him not to lie to her.

King and Ban were nearby, not quite hearing the conversation, but observe that the two of them seemed to be fighting. The Fairy King was asking Ban how to propose to someone and they just happened to be in the area.

Ban asks what caused such a disagreement between Meliodas and Elizabeth, Meliodas knocking them both away as he thinks to himself that even if Elizabeth is willing to listen to what he has to say, he’s not fully ready to disclose it himself.

We shift over to Hendricksen and Escanor looking over Merlin, who seems to be sick, affected by what the Druid Knight thinks is some sort of curse, too powerful for him to do anything about.

But Hendricksen thinks of Elizabeth, calling her to help Merlin with her powers, which we’ve learned before were truly the Goddess Clan’s rather than the Druids, which are only a close approximation.

As Elizabeth uses her Ark power, she enters into Merlin’s soul, seemingly engulfed in pitch black darkness.

Suddenly, she encounters Zeldris, who refers to her by name, even though she herself doesn’t’ remember meeting him at all.

The chapter ends as Zeldris calls her the Cursed Goddess and asks why she continues to bother Meliodas.

Fairy Tail 539

The others in Erza’s group notice the crack in the sky, shocked that Acnologia could possibly break out after all the sacrifices they made.

But Acnologia shatters free of the Ravines of Time, breaking out, feeling the power of the time magic he devoured flowing through him.

The Apocalypse Dragon unleashes Eternal Flare, seemingly innumerable blasts raining across all of Isghar, destroying everything.

Erza is knocked underwater, but she swims back to the surface, refusing to give up.

But she sees Wendy attacked by Acnologia, who says he will devour all Dragon Slayers and become a Perfect Extinction Dragon.

We shift over to see the other Dragon Slayers affected similarly, also explaining why Natsu disappeared earlier

The chapter ends as we see Natsu awaken in an unknown place, explained by Acnologia in his human Dragon Slayer form to be the Ravines of Time, now under his control
