Dr. Stone 51
Everyone’s putting their best effort
into making the components for Senkuu’s proto cellphone in Ishigami Village as
Homura watches from a distance, figuring out that they’ve advanced to metalworking,
something they’d theorized about before
Senkuu is pushed into explaining the
principles behind the cellphone to Chrome and Kaseki. It’s taking the
vibrations of sound that result from our voices and amplifying them through a
series of devices, including a vacuum tube, taking the electromagnetic waves
that are emitted and receiving them to transfer them in reverse so someone can
hear them
Chrome barely understands it, Kaseki
not getting much at all and even Gen taken aback by the complexity.
Senkuu explains that the first thing
they need is a cotton candy machine. After they make the basic part that spins
out the thread, Senkuu reveals that their plan is actually to use this with
gold to make the fine wires that are required for precise electrical currents.
But instead of using gold, they decide to use the rock sugar that formed after
Homura burned the area that stored some of the sake and other alcohol like
mirin, making a rough form of cotton candy
It’s really enjoyable to the
village, not something they’d had before.
Senkuu asks Gen about Homura, Ginrou
thinking he’s interested in her romantically, but he reveals he’s suspected
that she’s got them under surveillance under Hyouga’s orders.
Gen says she respects Hyouga greatly
and that there’s no real way she’ll defect.
But Senkuu decides to offer her some
cotton candy, taking a batch out to where she happens to be, leaving a note to
tell her it’s not poisoned.
Gen and the others think he might be
trying to tempt her, but Ruri says he’s also doing it because he’s showing her
a kindness that Hyouga and the others haven’t, since Hyouga noted they were
weak to not even abandon Kinrou when he was wounded
The chapter ends as Homura takes a
lick of the cotton candy, surprised at its sweetness.
We Can’t Study 55
The chapter begins as it appears
Asumi is confessing her love to Yuiga, but we learn it’s a game popular with
high schoolers called the “I Love You” game, where the one who blushes first
after the confession or response loses. The maid café is participating in their
own way, asking 2000 yen for the round, but offering 3000 yen of food free if
they win against the maid. Asumi’s never lost yet, so the café is confident
they can keep getting profit from the trend
At school Yuiga is tutoring the
girls in math when they hear some people playing the “I Love You” game. Oomori,
excited to show how good he is at it, asks Yuiga’s group to play, Uruka
somewhat interested, but Rizu especially ready to play, since it’s a game.
Oomori starts against her, losing
easily because of how Rizu has no interest in him, her responses robotic in
nature.
But when they pit her against Yuiga,
she starts to hesitate, stammering her line, which makes her lose as she
blushes heavily.
Furuhashi’s group of supporters says
she should be the next to play the game, but when she sees Rizu and Uruka
looking at her, she throws the game, not wanting to confess in front of the two
she’s supporting in their own romance
Oomori suggests Yuiga be the
confessor in the game next time, Uruka volunteering in spite of the risk of a
penalty game for the loser. She intends to lose on purpose, but Yuiga freezes
up, unable to confess to Uruka in the game, losing instead, which makes her
disappointed
The penalty game is to play the “I
Love You” game with the next person through the door.
And as it happens, it’s Mafuyu who
comes through the door. Yuiga has her take a seat and starts the game, though
Mafuyu doesn’t understand, asking him to repeat himself. But he can’t,
admitting defeat as she leaves.
Before Mafuyu closes the door, she
tells Yuiga to meet her after school in the student counselor’s office.
After he explains things, Mafuyu
understands partially, though she says that since they’re teacher and student,
he should never do that, even as a game or a joke.
Yuiga agrees, though he says maybe
that means he shouldn’t go to her apartment to clean, the chapter ending as
Mafuyu says that’s a different matter.

Zone again, but then Rhya begins to utilize spatial magic and the Light Magic’s

Asta barely able to counter them

(official spelling in English from author as of latest volume) bursts in, using
his Paint Magic to make a Four Headed Lindwurm, Asta stunned as Rill recognizes
Rhya’s elf soul.
Boku no Hero Academia 176
As Deku and Gentle square off, Deku
recalls that there aren’t any Hero offices nearby, so he can’t expect any
assistance
Gentle and La Brava begin their
broadcast in earnest, the Gentleman Thief ready to attack
Deku rushes forward, but we discover
that Gentle’s Quirk is Elasticity, able to imbue anything he touches with that
property, including the air itself, which he did as he was gesturing for the
camera.
This bounces Deku back, but he
pursues them even as they run, Gentle making the ground elastic instead,
which bounces his opponent into the air, Gentle saying that while he respects
Deku’s feelings of wanting to protect his school, he cannot reject his own
mission to bring a story that will be remembered for ages to come
La Brava recognizes Deku as someone
who made a big splash in the Sports Festival, Gentle thinking they can’t
continue to engage with him, since he was known to have immense power then
Deku remembers how various people
were really excited for the sports festival, such as Eri, who was trying to
smile again, but still not used to it.
Jirou asked him for advice on
organizing her notes to help the band members while they practice.
Deku reveals what Hatsume’s new
support item was, a glove that can concentrate air pressure, letting him attack
with more precision in an area where he wouldn’t want to damage things or risk
hurting civilians.
Gentle seems to shrug off the Delaware
Smash: Air Pressure, Deku rushing to grab Gentle, saying that his sentiments
aren’t just his alone, La Brava crying out as her idol is in danger with the chapter’s
conclusion
One Piece 899
Mont D’or contacts Perospero,
Bavarois explaining that he’s gotten weaker, since his injury hasn’t been
treated in nearly a day
Perospero explains that Bege and
Chiffon dropped the cake off at Puffs Island, everyone just waiting for the
conclusion of this: Big Mom will either die from possible poison, continue to
rampage if the cake doesn’t meet her taste or will be satisfied by its flavor.
Everyone across Totland is worrying
over what will happen, some thinking Pudding couldn’t have replicated the cake
Streusen spent days on, others bemoaning the situation with the Yonkou that was
supposed to be protecting them the one that’s causing such destruction.
At Puffs Island, the denizens start
to run away, not wanting to be around when Big Mom inevitably destroys it in
her fit of eating the cake, but Chiffon says she believes in its taste and
Sanji’s talent. Bege pulls her away, saying they need to escape anyway, not
even able to use the Nostra Castello now after it was destroyed in their
attempt to flee Big Mom, the Yonkou arriving to eat the cake
Luffy and the others, finally reunited,
have to save their sentiments as Smoothie’s fleet is attacking them, Chopper
still needing to treat Luffy’s injuries.
But Judge helps them escape as he
fires on Smoothie’s ships, still berating Sanji and Luffy. He says it was a
fruitless endeavor to try and save Luffy from Big Mom’s territory and that
Sanji was a weakling to begin with, still not worthy of the Vinsmoke name. Luffy ignores this, thanking him for his help
as they flee.
But Carrot and Nami see that they’re
being surrounded again from behind by the rest of the fleet not engaging with
Germa 66 on the coast.
Daifuku and Smoothie both assault
the ship, things not seeming good for the Straw Hats.
But the chapter ends as Wadatsumi
and the other members of the Sun Pirates burst out of the sea, ready to assist
Jinbe and the Straw Hats to escape Big Mom’s crew.
Seven Deadly Sins 259
Howzer leads the army in an attack, saying they
can’t strike head on, but distract them with a large attack to break up their
formation. Guila blasts them with an explosion, the others following it up.
Deathpierce uses his Melody ability to redirect the
attack magic from various demons, but then rushes in to attack one of them,
shrugging off the damage he’s taken, though it’s clearly still hurting their
bodies even if they don’t realize it.
Gowther recognizes it as Cheat Hope, seemingly
something Rueduciel did to them so they’d be less fearful and more willing to
fight
The group is preparing to retreat, but Howzer is
shocked as he sees a massive tide of earth, Diane covering one of the Albions
almost entirely and then smashing their head in.
King also uses his new power, slashing one of them
into pieces with Chastiefol’s true form.
Howzer and Guila are amazed at the abilities of the
Seven Deadly Sins, moving forward to take advantage of the morale.
Sariel and Tarmiel use Omega Ark to vaporize a swath
of the Demons, thinking this will barely warm them up for the fight against
Estarossa
Meanwhile, Monspiet and Derriere are sitting in the
house at the mountain village where they’ve been living for a while, not wanting
to get involved in the war.
But Derriere stands up, saying she plans to meet up
with Zeldris and give their Commandments to him.
The chapter ends as Estarossa has found them,
commenting that with theirs, he’ll have 3 Commandments
