Golem Hearts 15 (END)
We see Sodom’s army of Riddle
Golem’s amass at the Arcanist Federation HQ, surprised that they have humans
opposing them, meaning someone leaked the intel about their invasion
But the two groups then clash,
neither side giving up as Noah and Erebus offer support, but the Riddle Golems
do damage of their own with impressive abilities
Garbo arrives, having apparently
transplanted his body into a golem to attack Noah himself.
Noah refuses to be taken by him,
counter attacking and destroying the golem, saying he’ll be his own person
5 years pass, as we see the start of
the rankings for the #1 Arcanist in the world, Noah managing to beat Erebus to
get to this position
His golem is able to transmit his
voice through every golem in the world, allowing him to communicate to
everyone, telling them that he’s happy to have received this honor. But he also
acknowledges his friends, like Carles and Lily (the latter having just managed
to pass the exam after 5 years) as well as Erebus, his rival that helped him
end wars
But the most important person Noah
recognizes is Lamech, in spite of his master being embarrassed at the attention
Noah thanks his master, his father,
for creating him, which allowed the golem to have the experiences we’ve seen
throughout the series as we conclude on a picture at Lamech’s home of the two
celebrating this accomplishment
It had potential, but like many
series with good premises, they have to compete with other series of similar
talent. Oosuka Gen seems to want to return and I hope to see him again, though
we’ll supposedly be getting some new Jump Starts in the next few weeks
according to leaks
Dr. Stone 48
We learn the rough basics of the process
that goes into making Japanese swords, hammering the steel, then folding it
multiple times
Modern metallurgy and blacksmithing
makes it easier when you observe the crystalline structure of the metal
directly, 2 times all they need for now
The major benefit will be with the
tempering, leaving the dull half of the blade flexible while the edge will be
hard for cutting, that difference making Japanese swords so deadly in the stone
world
Hyouga isn’t fazed as his soldiers
are, saying his flowing spear style and the hollow spear he wields making him
even stronger than the Japanese swords
His technique knocks Magma’s sword
out of his hands and pushes back Kohaku and Kinrou, his strength the real deal
by Kohaku’s perception
Gen tells Hyouga out loud that Magma,
Kohaku and Kinrou are the strongest, Magma thinking that Gen betrayed them,
while Kinrou thinks that he’s assessing their skill against Hyouga’s, their
team up what could beat him
Magma rushes ahead, Kohaku telling
Ginrou to boost her while they use Magma as a way to hide their strategy
As she moves to attack from above,
we see that Hyouga can still counter, the hollow part of his spear allowing him
to make the twisting part of his technique spread the spear’s range out in a
circle so you can’t pinpoint where the head will be.
Before it hits Kohaku, the spearhead
falls off the spear, Hyouga deducing that Gen made a tiny cut in the binding so
that it would come off with enough force exerted
Gen tries to play it off, but
Hyouga’s perception is enough that Gen has to acknowledge he’s been found out
We flashback to Suika being told by
Senkuu to follow Gen, who left behind nightshade in the shade, even though it’s
a flower that needs more sunlight, as a way for them to track his movements
Using her ability to hide in plain
sight, she passed Gen the blade he used to make the tiny slit in Hyouga’s spear
when he touched it briefly.
The chapter ends as Senkuu and Gen
note they also utilized science with blades to take down this enemy.

The Furuhashi admirers club from a
while back is looking forward to seeing Fumino again after summer vacation, but
one of the members says something has gone wrong
Fumino is confused when the three
act a bit strange, asking reluctantly about how her vacation went. But the
member who revealed things to Kashima and Inomori, named Chono, shows that she
found a picture of Fumino and Yuiga together at the hotel after the summer
festival, which makes Fumino panic at the embarrassment.
Chono consoles her by saying that
even though the owner of the social media account is at their school, they
don’t seem to have any followers, so the picture may not have been revealed
yet. They decide to form a group to investigate things, Yuiga and Fumino
pairing off.
He’s not as worried as Fumino is,
which just makes her more irritated at him not realizing the situation.
They notice the account seems to be
mostly pictures of sweets, cats and the sky, thinking the way it’s written
would suggest it’s a girl. The account name, Spielen With Love, makes them
think the German word that can mean playing an instrument suggests one of the
music club students may be involved.
But they find that everyone has an
alibi to account for not being at the festival. As the two leave, they see the
advisor for the orchestra club offering a bag of cakes to the students as a
reward for their performance at a convention during the summer.
Fumino notices the cakes are all in
posts from the account related to the picture of Yuiga and Furuhashi, Nariyuki
noticing that they share another pattern, posted every Friday and the table
having a noticeable crack on the edge.
The pair decides to wait at the
nearby table, hoping they can find the account owner.
Fumino is a bit flustered at being
alone with Yuiga, though he seems to regard it as fun, like they’re playing
detective, while Fumino tells him that normally they’d comment that it’s like
they’re on a date.
She backtracks on that, the two
interrupted by Omori, one of Yuiga’s friends from before who was jealous of the
idea that Yuiga might have a girlfriend
He sits with them, ordering a cake
and posting the picture, which reveals he was the owner of the account from
before. Omori explains that he was with his parents at the hotel and took the
picture, but the shock to his mind made him forget he’d taken it until just now
As he tries to interrogate Yuiga,
Fumino stops Omori, asking him to delete the photo with a deadly glare in her
eyes, the chapter ending as we learn that Omori has the account name based on a
Japanese pun with his last name also meaning “to play an instrument”
Black Clover 147
Julius mourns that Licht was still
able to threaten all of the Clover Kingdom’s people, wondering what his true
intentions were with acquiring the Magic Stones.
He’s sad that he won’t see
Fuegoeleon wake up, Yami saying he can’t possibly die. But Julius tells Yami he
leaves the rest to him, passing on after saying he was happy to have seen so
much magic, the symbol on his forehead disappearing to indicate his grimoire
has also disappeared as it dissipates in the sky.
Yami remembers the times they spent
together, happy in spite of losing the first person he met in Clover Kingdom
that really acknowledged him
Yami speaks to Marx as he and Owen
arrive, saying they will protect the kingdom in Julius’ place
Yuno’s group, back at the Eye of the
Midnight Sun’s hideout, arrives at the central room, seeing Licht surrounded by
an orb of light, the mana recognized by Bell as something dangerous
We learn that Licht intends to
awaken the power of the tree of life, seemingly intended to give them amazing
power, which he speaks of as being reborn into their true selves.
Licht says he’s proud of his
subordinates, Rades, Sally and Valtos all at the site as well. But he speaks
his true feelings to them, saying that as humans, they’re selfish and not worth
his effort, so focused on themselves that they don’t deserve any assistance.
He says they will become the
cornerstone of rebirth, the giant skull near Hage Village, where Yuno and Asta
were found as children, glowing brightly
Mimosa sees this magic power as
dangerous, Licht’s body slowly changing, but she’s also shocked to see Yuno
also glowing as the chapter ends suggesting he has some connection to Licht or
the like.
Boku no Hero Academia 173
The 3 groups for Class 1-A’s cultural
festival dance group are practicing and working out the various aspects for
their presentations
Eri shows up, Aizawa explaining that
this visit is meant to get her used to things so she isn’t shocked when she
comes to the cultural festival proper.
Iida introduces himself, Mirio
saying that he’ll show Eri around, asking Deku for help as well
The group meets up with other
students, including Class 1-B, everyone preparing for the cultural festival,
which is still a month away
Monoma taunts Class 1-A, saying that
Class 1-B is doing their own original play, called Romeo, Juliet and the
Prisoner of Azkaban: Return of the Kings, thinking it’ll blow their performance
out of the water.
They also learn about the Miss Con,
basically a form of beauty pageant at many Japanese school cultural festivals.
Nejire, the former 2nd place winner,
is surprised at Eri being there, revealing that she’s always lost to one of the
Support Class members, called Bibimi Zaki, very gaudy and showy from what we
see. But Hadou won’t give up, wanting to place 1st this year, since she’s
graduating soon
The Support Department is putting
together stuff for a technology exhibition, Hatsume putting together a giant
mech suit of some sort. She says the cultural festival is the best time for the
Support Department to get attention compared to the Sports Festival.
Deku, Mirio and Eri leave as
Hatsume’s suit explodes, catching on fire as well.
The three are sitting in the cafeteria
to cool down, Deku asking Eri what she thinks about it. She’s not sure, but
seeing everyone try their hardest makes her want to see how it’ll turn out
They see Nedzu and Midnight, Nedzu
leaving as he tells them to enjoy the festival when it happens
Midnight brings up that Nedzu was
visited by the commissioner of police, who tried to tell him that they should
cancel the event, but the principal insisted they need this bright moment for a
situation that seems hopeless for Heroes.
They’ve increased security and
agreed that if there is an alarm sounded they will suspend activities at that
point, reaching a compromise with the police.
Deku tells Eri that his class is
doing a live dance performance, hoping that they can make it a fun time for her
too.
But a week later, we see that Deku
has been “fired” from the dance performance, though we’re left with that
confusion as the chapter ends, not sure what exactly it means.
One Piece 896
Oven and other members of the
Charlotte Family, including Yuan, think that Luffy, since he intends to meet
his crew at Cacao Island at 1AM, would try to take Brulee hostage and escape from
Katakuri through the closest mirror
Sanji, in disguise nearby, observes
that the fighters are indeed impressive, meaning Luffy would have difficulty
getting away when he appears from the mirror.
Pudding is several feet from him,
still nervous about her feelings for Sanji. And when he thanks her, saying
they’ll have to part ways here when he leaves with Luffy, Pudding still plays
it off as her hating him, while internally she thinks Sanji is the one worthy
of praise here, not her.
As she yells at him, Sanji says he
understands that she would be angry, Big Mom setting this all up. But Sanji
says he’s glad Pudding was his fiancée, the 35th daughter crying, which makes
him think he made her upset. She surprises him by giving him one last request
as we shift back to the Mirror World
Both Luffy and Katakuri collapse,
Luffy falling into a hole in the floor while Katakuri collapses, both of them
unable to fight anymore, their blows not even landing from the last time we saw
them about to clash
Bege’s ship is still being chased by
Big Mom, who’s hot on their tails, the group wondering if they should give up
but their captain says they should finish this task to its conclusion
Nami and the others consider the
possibility that if Brulee isn’t in the Mirror World with Luffy he might be
trapped even if he beats Katakuri
Luffy manages to pull himself out of
the hole and Katakuri stands up, asking him if he intends to return and defeat
Big Mom. The Straw Hat says that’s his plan as the future Pirate King, Katakuri
impressed with his guts as he falls on his back, unconscious. Luffy puts his
hat over his opponent’s face to hide his appearance as he leaves for the mirror
Suddenly, Pekoms, in disguises as
Nazoms (Nazo meaning mystery in Japanese), brings Brulee with him, offering his
assistance as a repayment for Pedro’s sacrifice.
The chapter ends as there are only 5
minutes until Luffy and his crew are to meet up, Sanji telling Nami’s group
that he’ll try to get Luffy to the ship so that they don’t have to fight the
fleet, while Oven and family ready their weapons for the Rubber Man’s arrival
Seven
Deadly Sins 256
Everyone’s impressed that Arthur has been chosen by
Excalibur, but Hawk still comments that Merlin is likely aware that even with
that sword, Arthur can’t possibly beat Meliodas and the others as we see the
Sin of Wrath and the Piety virtually unscathed as well as Cusack and Chandler.
The Demons say that they just wanted to test out the
sword’s power, Cusack shocked as he realizes part of his mustache was cut off.
Arthur persists, saying he can’t lose as long as he
has Excalibur but Cath says that unless he awakens his magic power, he can’t
hope to win, the auras of the Demons such that Arthur is paralyzed in fear
Cath tells Merlin through some kind of telepathy
that Arthur is in danger of dying
Arthur is suddenly unable to wield the sword, his
body weakened as Cusack tells him that his affinity with the sword doesn’t mean
he had the training necessary to fully wield it.
Plus, since his opponents are the highest class of
Demons, the sword itself can’t expect to be used against them the same way it
could against the lower demons, which feared the human heroes of the past
Cusack uses his magic power, Resonant, seemingly
channeling some sound wave or the like into Arthur.
But Arthur appears, blasting the Demon with Icicle
Castle, freezing him in place
Meliodas demands she give him the Commandment of
Faith, but Merlin says that she won’t do that, telling him that as much as he
wants to become Demon King, his friends are doing their best to save him and
Elizabeth as she teleports away
Merlin asks Elizabeth to heal Merlin, Cath saying it
can wait.
But the effects of Cusack’s Resonant power are still
active, the chapter ending as he forces Arthur to stab himself with Excalibur,
Merlin crying out as her hope falls to the ground wounded.
