Disclaimer: These aren’t official translations, merely scanlations. Buy localized or original manga to support the author if at all possible. Know the difference between piracy/theft and sharing without personal profit.

We Can’t Study is apparently slightly further ahead than even the scans, but Shounen Jump is going to be caught up this week, so I may be using their translations in the future along with screencaps if necessary.

Black Clover is off this week

Dr. Stone 17

Senkuu interprets Kohaku’s statement as suggesting she’s in love with him, but she qualifies she just admires him as a person and wants to work together, which makes him relieved that she’s not thinking illogically.

Kohaku is sleeping with her knives on hand, Senkuu asking her why she’s doing that. She responds that she still doesn’t fully trust him even if she respects him as someone who would sacrifice themselves for another.

Senkuu retorts that she’s like a lioness to him, who’s physically weak and tells her to go to sleep.

The next day, Senkuu and Kohaku agree that they need to work together, Senkuu saying he needs more physical capacity to start his kingdom of science.

Kohaku says she’s heading home after getting some water from the hot springs, which she uses for recovery purposes. Senkuu wonders why she’d need that, Kohaku saying it’s for her older sister, who has some condition that weakens her.

Senkuu’s impressed at how strong she is to have carried multiple jugs of that much water, developing her abilities through that training.

But her injuries still haven’t healed, making it hard for her to carry it. Senkuu is unable to hold it as well, so he puts together a rudimentary vehicle with the parts they had before, traveling to where Kohaku’s family is

It’s shown to be a decent sized village that has around 40 people in it of varying ages, hair color and a relative mix of male and female.

Senkuu is astonished that such a civilization exists, wondering how the people that were the first generation even got revived.

Two of the villagers, Ginrou and Kinrou, try to attack Senkuu, Kohaku protecting him.

They explain that the rule is that no outsiders are allowed and even if Senkuu saved her, they can’t break that tradition of the village. Kohaku offers to fight both of them, giving a handicap of it being 2 on 1.

Senkuu, using some of the soap he made before, generates some bubbles with the water in a barrel, which confuses and mystifies them.

With this in mind, Senkuu plans to use his scientific prowess to get the assistance of the 40 able bodied people in the village.

The chapter ends as Kohaku suggests he first get the assistance of the one called Chrome (all the villagers have mineral themed names either in Japanese or English), since he’s the most lax

We Can’t Study 20

Since Rizu’s glasses were accidentally broken by her dad, it means she has to use her old pair, telling her dad to stay away from her so the other pair doesn’t get broken as well, to his dismay

The next day, her face is much more irritated looking, scaring away people who would otherwise want to see her.

Fumino is explaining to Yuiga that he can’t just keep his distance either to help with his problems regarding Uruka and Rizu

Yuiga goes to leave, Fumino slipping as he catches her. Rizu sees them, seemingly glaring in anger.

But it turns out she can’t see as well with her old glasses, not immediately recognizing it was Fumino next to Yuiga.

Rizu bumps into Yuiga, still not able to see well, but as she tries to focus, she still looks angry, Fumino mistaking this for Rizu being angry at seeing what looked like Yuiga hugging Fumino.

Fumino then tells Yuiga to hold her hand to guide her, Rizu seemingly confused as to whose hand it is.

In class, Rizu’s face still looks angry, but Yuiga eventually figures it out after Rizu knocks over an eraser, offering to help in some way. Rizu didn’t want to bother people with her personal problems, Yuiga wondering if that was why her test scores suffered before, which Rizu says was different.

Yuiga says she should rely on him now and they can aim for a good test score together, which Rizu reluctantly agrees to.

They head to the library, Rizu taking off her glasses, since she noticed people were scared of her, the people around them in the halls noticing how pretty she looks without them.

She asks him which he’d prefer, Yuiga saying without, though Rizu doesn’t like the idea of wearing contacts.

Fumino, worried that Rizu is still angry, pushes Yuiga to make them have an accidental hug, but Yuiga falls into Rizu’s chest

Fumino is told the situation, both she and Yuiga apologizing, the chapter ending as we see Takemoto is still waiting in the library for them.

Boku no Hero Academia 143

Rappa tells Tengai, the barrier user, to take down his shield, but Tengai says they should take their advantage and finish off their opponents.

They bicker slightly about whether they really need to use this combo, Tengai saying that he’ll accept it for now, letting Rappa go wild.

Fatgum can barely defend against the attacks and thinks Tengai would likely put up a barrier if they were ever in any danger. But he concludes that taking out the defensive part of the combo is higher priority, since otherwise it’ll drag on

The Fat Hero tries to draw Rappa’s attention, asking him who will win out, his shield or Rappa’s spear, even bringing up his own past as a bit of a hooligan.

As the pair square off, Tengai leaving them to fight, Kirishima continues to berate himself for thinking he could fight on a Pro Hero’s level and feels awful that Fatgum’s taking so much damage for him.

He tries to think of something he can do, but continues to panic with the stress of things as they are.

Tengai observes Kirishima’s state of stress, thinking he can’t do anything as he is.

Meanwhile Fatgum is still enduring, his Quirk able to actually absorb the shockwaves and keep them stored away at the cost of his defense to release it as his own “spear”. But the damage he’s taken makes it impossible for him to use the same impact he’s taken at this point.

As Rappa moves to finish him off, Kirishima blocks the blows, persisting by restoring his Hardening Quirk every time he’s broken.

Kirishima even tries to attack, but Tengai blocks the blow with his shield, saying that this way, the young Hero will just fall unconscious.

However, it turns out that Fatgum took that opportunity to concentrate the impact into an attack, preparing to use it as the chapter ends with him thanking Kirishima for being a “spear” in his own way

Magi 353

Aladdin, along with the others, leaves the Sacred Palace with Solomon’s Wisdom, leaving Sinbad to occupy David’s projection there.

They meet up with Nerva, saying they need to head to the west where the magic to draw everything into the rukh is being activated.

Nerva is left behind with Arba’s child form, asking her what’s going on. She’s still very disinterested, her severed connection to Ill Illah seemingly killing her motivation as well.

Arba notes that she’s not that interested, though the activation of the magic means that things are seemingly being colored black or at least rendered null and void. She also observes people aren’t really fighting back because of Sinbad’s previous manipulation of their motivations.

The notion of these people welcoming the giant angelic beings to destroy their bodies and return them to the rukh disgusts Arba, wondering what happiness even is when it’s been twisted so by Sinbad altering the rukh in such a way before.

We shift to various places, lingering on Sindria as Drakon and the other Eight Generals are so happy some are crying at the prospect of returning to the rukh and being reborn into a better dimension.

But before they can be attacked by the angels summoned by David, Alibaba attacks one, stopping its assault

Aladdin and the others appear, Judar thinking they won’t be thanked for this. But Aladdin responds that they’re doing this because they want to, not because someone else told them to.

The chapter ends as the group resolves to fight against the black angels, which Alibaba calls death gods, likely shinigami in the Japanese.

One Piece 870

As Big Mom is still demanding Bege come out, Chiffon begs her to spare them, but that only enrages her mother more because she looks like Lola

The rest of the Big Mom pirates and guests of the tea party await Bege’s inevitable defeat, wanting to make an example out of them for underestimating a Yonkou’s crew

Bege is struggling to stand, noting how Big Mom is powerful enough to make his defenses almost pointless, even though they’ve taken cannon fire in the past.

Luffy moves to try and attack Big Mom, but Nami and Chopper stop him, saying they’ve gotten their crewmate back and gotten a transcript of the Poneglyph, so there’s no need for him to start a fight like this. They’ve even saved Sanji’s family, so Nami begs Luffy to think of a plan to escape and regroup with Zoro if he really wants to try and take out Big Mom in the future.

Bege is still defending against the attacks, resenting how Luffy’s group succeeded, not even caring about their safety ultimately, focused more on his own subordinates and family.

Unwilling to give up, he says he has a plan, thinking that he should transform back to his human form and Caesar flying them all out of there, which the Gas Man doesn’t like the sound of, since it puts him in a lot of danger, many of the Big Mom Pirates using Armament Haki.

Judge asks Sanji why he saved his family at all, Sanji responding that his father wouldn’t want him to hold a grudge, referring to Zeff rather than Judge in that regard. He wants to be a person that can still look at his father without shame

Sanji tells Judge that he should never view himself as Sanji’s father again and leave him be. Judge agrees, telling Bege to open the gate and that Germa 66 will cover for their escape

Bege remembers that with their Raid Suits, Germa 66 can fly as well, Luffy saying he’ll help. But Judge says that he refuses to be in the debt of a failure like Sanji, wanting to do this on his own, which Sanji accepts

Caesar reluctantly agrees to the plan after Bege squeezes his heart again, Big Mom and her family right before them. But their assault is blocked by Germa 66, Reiju pushed aside slightly by Prometheus’ attack, but still ready to fight.

However to everyone’s shock, Sanji and Luffy both burst out of Bege’s castle to try and attack Big Mom, both of them seemingly having planned to do this as the chapter ends on the escape being delayed again.

Seven Deadly Sins 223

Elizabeth heals Elaine again with her powers, confiding in Diane about what Zeldris told her regarding the past and her curse to be reincarnated with her memories wiped each time. Diane asks if Elizabeth’s told Meliodas, Elizabeth saying he just dismissed it, which irritates the giantess.

Elaine speculates that Meliodas may be keeping something painful from her, Diane even speculating that he was more of a pervert back then to her. The fairy princess notes she can’t read Meliodas’ heart, so it makes things more difficult.

Elizabeth moves to remember, Diane comforting her, saying that even if there are some painful memories, there must be good ones as well.

A stray red Demon tries to attack the Boar’s Hat, but is blasted away by Hawk’s mother blasting smoke out of her nostrils.

Gowther notes that he can sense the immense magic power from the city of Conrand, still thinking about the pit stop he needs to make on the way

Helbram manifests before King, congratulating him on his relationship with Diane and his new wings, saying things really haven’t changed much to him, King still his friend.

We shift over to Ban and Meliodas, the Sin of Greed telling the Sin of Wrath that he wants to sit out this upcoming fight. His captain understands, since Merascylla, likely the one behind the dimensional distortion, is also connected to Elaine and if she dies, so will Ban’s lover.

Meliodas says he can understand, but before he finishes his thought, Ban thinks he can’t fully understand, since he’s potentially gotten used to it, while Ban’s seen Elaine die and has the chance to be with her again.

Diane calls Meliodas, Elizabeth behaving oddly, speaking about someone called Barzad being bitten by a werefox. She recognizes Meliodas and Merlin, though she speaks as if she knows Merlin from long ago.

Elizabeth’s eyes are both manifesting the symbol of the Goddess Clan, suddenly falling unconscious.

Meliodas explains, along with Merlin, that Elizabeth’s getting her memories back likely from Zeldris forcibly bringing them back when she was freeing Merlin from the curse.

Diane explains this to King, saying this is why Elizabeth wanted to discover her memories.

But Merlin tells Diane to hold her tongue, Diane responding that Meliodas was the one who held back.

Meliodas explains that it won’t take long for Elizabeth to get her memories back, but that once she does, she’ll die in 3 days, possibly from the curse’s backlash.

The chapter ends as we enter a flashback, Meliodas saying he will explain the true purpose of his 3000 year journey and how it connects to Elizabeth.

Fairy Tail 541

As the Dragon Slayers start their assault on Acnologia, Wendy buffs them all with Deus Eques. But as Gajeel, Sting, Rogue. Cobra and Laxus all attack, they seem to do no damage to the Dragon King at all, Natsu barely tanking an attack from him as Acnologia emphasizes that he is the strongest Dragon and that they won’t defeat him.

Meanwhile, outside, Fairy Tail and its allies discuss how they’re to even stop Acnologia’s physical form at all, since only Dragon Slayer magic can truly affect him, all other magic absorbed and physical attacks virtually pointless against his power.

But Lucy thinks there may be one other solution, using the Dragon Slayer’s mysterious vulnerability to being on vehicles to weaken Acnologia and use a certain magic on it. She, Levy and Freed go to the guild library to find it, while another group will go to Hargeon and get a large boat, a separate group drawing the Dragon King to that boat.

The magic in question is Fairy Sphere, the spell that protected them from Acnologia’s attacks 7 years ago on Tenrou Island. The idea will be sealing him within that somehow, the risk warranted by the situation being so dire.

Natsu and the others ask Acnologia why he wants to destroy everything, the Dragon King simply wanting to annihilate by his nature, which Natsu and the others say won’t happen to their world, tough as it is.

Gray and Juvia are teleported with Mest to the port, asking Leon and his friends to find a boat. Meanwhile, Minerva, along with the rest of Sabretooth and Crime Sorciere are thinking of how they can draw Acnologia’s attention, intimidated at his power.

And the chapter concludes as Lucy, Levy, Freed, and the Exceed are searching for the book that has the method for casting Fairy Sphere.
