One Piece and Seven Deadly Sins are on break this week

Black Clover 85

Asta is bull rushed by Noelle, Finral and Vanessa, saying that he needs to consider their feelings, concerned about him and making sacrifices like they were. Finral is impressed at how tough Asta’s arms are, thinking reinforcement magic in involved.

The queen tells Asta to show her his power, the others going as well to fight the combined forces.

The Eye of the Midnight Sun starts to attack the witches as they move to protect their kingdom, the golem used by the queen damaged by Fana’s Salamander Magic.

Asta slashes a witch free from a snake binding magic, though she’s not entirely grateful to be saved by a man, since the witches have some misandry going on.

An Eye of the Midnight Sun mage is binding more witches to use as slaves, Asta telling Vanessa to throw him at the mage with her Thread Magic in spite of the danger it poses.

He slashes past various mages, Vanessa impressed, but not surprised as Asta’s always been a straightforward fighter as well as physically capable. After Asta frees the witches, Fana lets loose a massive fireball, Asta knocking it back at her.

The chapter ends as she vows to kill him, getting revenge for Vett’s death.

Boku no Hero Academia 114

We see that most everyone in 1-A has passed, though Bakugou and Todoroki both can’t find their names.

Inasa apologizes to Todoroki, saying it was his fault that they didn’t pass. But Todoroki thinks that he’s failed to acknowledge his own issues with his father and Inasa brought those to his attention.

Mineta notes how Bakugou and Todoroki failed in spite of being top class, thinking they might’ve become a bit arrogant.

The Hero Public Safety Commission then gives handouts to the students, explaining where they fell short and why points were deducted, some of the students scraping by with 60, though Yaoyorozu got 94

Deku wonders why those who failed weren’t removed from the exam when they fell below the minimum # of points, thinking the system didn’t allow for new points to be added.

Mera emphasizes to those who got their provisional licenses that there is a great responsibility connected with them in that they are now allowed to act as Pro Heroes, for the most part. With things changing after All Might’s retirement, they expect much more from these new Heroes in training. And even those who passed will be given a chance to get their provisional licenses in a few months.

Bakugou, Todoroki and Inasa are all enthused at the possibility, even complimented in that they had such promise, but still needed to curb some bad habits they had to become better Heroes.

Deku is overwhelmed with happiness as he holds his provisional license, thinking now he can support people more than before.

He asks one of the Shiketsu students about the training they did to conceal their presence, but they don’t remember ever doing anything like that.

Kemii, the student that mentioned such in the exam, had to leave early.

But we find out it was actually Himiko from the Villain Alliance, whose Quirk is Metamorphosis, the one we saw “Kemii” use, meaning that hers is still unknown.

What’s more, Himiko managed to get a small sample of Deku’s blood, saying that will make Tomura happy as the chapter ends on this reveal.

World Trigger 164

Yuzuru leaves, saying he’ll look at Tamakoma’s logs more. Kitazoe is happy that his teammate won’t be throwing the match, Toma commenting that they can’t be punished for holding back or Chika would’ve had that happen for not being able to shoot people in the past.

The others are still trying to confirm that, Yuma suggesting it might just be a way to deceive people into thinking that, but with the easy shots she’s had, it doesn’t make sense.

Toma thinks she can shoot people, Kitazoe commenting that she’d be really dangerous with her Trion levels.

According to the #1 Sniper, it’s not a matter of whether Chika can or can’t, it’s whether she wants to or not. If she wanted to, she could change the bullet type mid shot to hit someone with a real bullet instead of Lead Bullet

If she was really someone who couldn’t shoot others at all, she would’ve become an Operator or Engineer at C Rank, but she didn’t, meaning she has the resolve in her, willing to get shot and taking shots in Rank Wars consistently.

The difference is that Chika’s willingness to shoot is based on immediate danger to herself, comparing it to a person eating anything if they were truly starving.

Since she’s already guaranteed on the mission, Toma tells Yuma that they should try to get her used to it, since it could help others and even herself depending on the circumstances.

Back at Tamakoma, Yuma tells Osamu about Toma’s advice, though the captain isn’t sure about doing that to Chika even if it helps her.

Yuma asks about Osamu’s own plans, their captain looking at the future opponents’ logs, especially Suzunari 1, who’s gotten much better, likely even coming up with a counter to the Wire strategy.

Osamu wonders if he should get new Triggers in his array, but Shiori suggests against it, commenting that he’s already consuming a lot of Trion just with the Triggers he has equipped, plus the Bail Out system. And with his low levels, he can’t afford to use more or he can’t function well with the setup he already has.

Hyuse’s presence means their team has potential to win the next few matches and get into the away team, but Osamu still has something bothering him, though we’re not sure what. The presence of a black splotch on his chest makes me wonder if there’s a hint as to something from the Black Trigger attack on him leaving some lingering effect.

The chapter ends as we lead up to the next Rank Wars, starting March 1st.

World Trigger is off next week, since Ashihara is unexpectedly ill

Magi 326

Aladdin notes that there are signs the hole in the sky is expanding, though Yunan says it shouldn’t be a concern, since it was sealed up. He has a negative reaction to something, though he passes it off as nothing of importance, the two splitting up to go their separate ways.

As Aladdin returns, he bumps into Judar, both of them shocked at how different each of them looks. He explains that he felt a great disturbance, though he couldn’t tell what, Kougyoku having heard about a burst of light in the Tenzan Mountains where Aladdin and Yunan observed things.

He’s still uncertain about the uneasy feeling he had, not dissipating after he went to investigate. They thought it might be something similar to what happened in Magnostadt a few years ago, but it wasn’t.

Alibaba says they don’t need to worry that much, noting that Kougyoku seems distracted.

She’s worried about leaving the International Alliance, concerned she might become prideful, but Alibaba thinks she made the right decision, Reim and Kina supporting her as well.

Everyone is still curious about the light at Tenzan, wondering if it was lightning or something. Aladdin notes that it’s near the International Alliance headquarters, Alibaba asking Sinbad through the communications magic tools about it. Sinbad hasn’t heard any such reports

They go their separate ways, Sinbad having a meeting to attend, though he jokes about how he had a speech written up for Alibaba’s wedding, since he wants to treat Alibaba like his own son.

A few days later, Aladdin still notices things feel off, but the chapter concludes as Alibaba knocks on the door, revealing that Morgiana broke up with him.

Toriko 395

Toriko and Komatsu stop by Midora’s grave, placed in a different area from Jirou and Ichiryuu’s at Midora’s request, Toriko also promising to bring a Full Course every week. It’s said to be a place important to Midora and the family he was brought into.

The two rush to the wedding reception, Rin overjoyed at her dress and the whole situation.

Everyone’s eager to eat, the ceremony itself fairly simple, with a minister asking whether they will eat together and be happy even in times of great hunger, which Toriko’s a bit skeptical of.

Afterwards, everyone’s getting ready for the reception, Komatsu encouraging his chefs to make this a feast fit for the high status of many of the guests.

Ootake and Koume are there as well, the first dish the appetizer, a BB Corn along with a chicken quiche seasoned with Melk Stardust.

Next is the Century Soup, Komatsu having vowed to make one for the present era, since the original’s ingredient base was lost in Ice Hell.

The fish dish features the Ougai, as well as ANOTHER, the Shining Gourami and other fish they’ve encountered over the years.

The meat dish’s centerfold is the Endophant Steak, along with Galala Gator meat and the Jewel Meat of the Regal Mammoth, all the memories of those ingredients coming back to Komatsu.

At the climax of the meal is GOD itself, Toriko spotting Acacia and Frohze at the table he set for the spirits, which also includes Jirou and Ichiryuu.

People even request second portions of GOD, Komatsu happy that everyone could eat it together.

The next course is AIR, served with an Ozone Herb. Komatsu remembers when Toriko first asked him to be a combo when they prepared the Ozone Herb.

Nearing the end is the dessert, Rainbow Fruit, suspended in jelly and surrounded by a level 100 Surprise Apple and the Bubble Fruit, as well as the Dodurian Bomb

As the drink, Billion Bird Egg mixed with Mellow Cola arrives, everyone finally greeting Komatsu as he arrives.

The chapter ends as we see Midora’s spirit appear, finally getting to eat alongside his whole family

Next chapter is the final one, so this will be the next series to conclude

Fairy Tail 509

August asks Jellal, the rest of Crime Sorciere utterly defeated, why he stood against Zeref when he once idolized him. Jellal says he finally found a light to guide him, August thinking that’s shallow idealism.

He reveals that Zeref has a son with a power of light, but that he has been twisted by being raised without love, which August thinks may be the true justice, not light or darkness.

Kagura and Yukino are still in shock, furthermore that Natsu is Zeref’s brother and Larcade’s uncle. The son of the Dark Mage notes how he resents his uncle, who has Zeref’s attention much more than his sole heir.

Larcade unleashes blades of light, Kagura narrowly dodging as she cuts the mountain he’s on down, bringing him to her level.

She has the Pleasure magic unleashed upon her, but bites her own tongue to nullify its effects, able to resist.

Kagura rushes at Larcade, closing the distance and unleashing her blade. But Larcade blocks it with a single hand, commenting on how Fairy Tail has underestimated the Spriggan 12.

Larcade, Eileen and August are said to be special exceptions to the rule, possibly much stronger than the others.

Kagura tries to attack again, but is cut down by Larcade as he blocks her sword effortlessly again.

He utilizes Pleasure, seemingly defeating her as he has many others, sending her soul to some kind of heaven.

Yukino is his next target, Larcade noting that he will give her a death full of pleasure to overwhelm her despair.

The chapter ends as we hear August comment that the only one who could possibly defeat Larcade is his mother, strongly implied to be Mavis.
