Black Clover 82
Finral and Noelle arrive at a house,
opening it to find someone naked, shocking Noelle as she blasts him away.
It turns out these are people from
the Diamond Kingdom that Asta and the Black Bulls helped at some point in a
separate novel, one of them a magic item crafter and the other a former
director of military affairs. The third is unknown as to what she does, though
she shares their same fate of running from the law, hiding in a place that’s in
need of repairs.
Domina, the magic artisan, says she
thinks the Witch’s Kingdom, a neutral zone in between the Diamond and Clover
Kingdom, might have a way to reverse the curse magic.
But she and Vanessa are fugitives
from the kingdom, which forbids witches from leaving. Vanessa going back means
she might be in danger and the Witch’s Kingdom boasts powerful magic.
Noelle still insists on going,
Fanzel and the others agreeing as they pick up Asta in the middle of training
Meanwhile, we see Vanessa speaking
with the head of the Witch Kingdom, who berates her student for falling in love
with Yami, taken in by him to leave their perfect life.
She smashes the wall behind Vanessa,
the String Mage not faltering as she demands to be taught how to dispel ancient
curses as the chapter ends.
Boku no Hero Academia 111
The Hero Association is discussing
the test standards 3 weeks earlier in a flashback, the National Police Agency
telling them they need to change them to focus more on cooperation rather than
individual ability assessment as they did in the past. Instead of waiting for
someone like All Might again, they’re going to create Heroes that value group
thinking and collaboration.
In the present, Deku and the others
realize the Villains are near the first aid area, needing to decide how to act
quickly.
Mera explains how the second phase
of the exam is judged based on overall points deducted from an initial pool
allotted to each student, factoring in proper use of Quirk, etc. Anyone who
falls below 50 points automatically fails
Shindou tries to direct everyone to
take the injured further inside, to keep their distance from the Villains. He’s
stopped mid attack by Gang Orca, who uses one of his abilities associated with
the Killer Whale Quirk, a sound attack that paralyzes Shindou.
Todoroki, Ashido, Ojirou and
Tokoyami arrive where the Villains are, leaving evacuation efforts to Asui and
others, while they handle the Villains.
Inasa arrives as well, people
commenting that he’d be good with his combat ability in fighting against the
Villains. Todoroki still thinks he’s being unnecessarily flashy, insisting that
Inasa aid with the retreat of the injured.
But he blasts a gust at Gang Orca’s
group, Todoroki also attacking with fire, which disrupts the wind. The two
bicker as to whether they’re really helping in this situation, Todoroki hit by
a Cement Gun from one of the Villains.
Todoroki insists his father has
nothing to do with this, Inasa saying that he and Endeavor are the same,
focused on getting all the recognition and ignoring anyone around them,
including himself in the past as a child.
He thinks that he’s gotten over his
issues with Endeavor, but realizes that he still resents his father, especially
with Inasa reminding him of how he used to be like his father only half a year
or so ago when they first met before Yuuei’s entrance exam.
Todoroki and Inasa’s Quirks clash
again, the flames threatening to engulf Shindou as the wind redirects it.
The chapter ends as Deku pulls him
out of the way, screaming at Todoroki and Inasa for their squabbling in the middle
of this exam.
Seven Deadly Sins 196
Hawk, having pooped out the Red
Demon skin they ate, has reverted to normal, remembering what happened. Since
they think their mom’s dead, they start to cry, but are stunned when she
appears, seemingly unharmed.
Escanor greets Merlin, each of them
complimenting the other, though what’s more pressing is Meliodas being
confronted by Ban.
He says he’s glad to have his
captain back, while Escanor and Merlin discuss Meliodas’ curse and how he will
always come back from being killed, but anytime he’s resurrected, his emotions
are consumed, leaving him vulnerable to reverting back to his state of the
fearsome Commandment under the Demon King
Merlin thinks Fraudrin, in spite of
his involvement with things, didn’t deserve to die how he did.
The funeral is held for the 4 Holy
Knights who died, one less well known, though his death is still felt by
Howzer. Denzel and Dogget of the Pleiades are mourned for, as well as Jericho’s
older brother, Gustaf.
Hendricksen and Dreyfus are insulted
by Jericho, resenting them for living while others had to die while trusting
them. But Bartra, Howzer assisting by defending Drefyus, says that they need to
unite in order to repair what has been damaged by the Demon attacks.
Meliodas finds some alcohol and
ingredients in the ruins of the Boar’s Hat, putting it together as Elizabeth
arrives, Meliodas thinking he should drink to his avenging Liz’s death in the
past.
Elizabeth and Meliodas eat the food,
still tasting bad, but the Princess noting how it has the taste reflected from
someone who has a kind heart that prepared it, remembering how he treated her
with such compassion when she was at her lowest point
Meliodas replies that he’s scared of
how he’s changed, unable to see what Ban feels, unable to suppress the joy he
still has at having killed Fraudrin.
But Elizabeth encourages him, saying
she will stay by his side always, no matter what happens, the chapter ending on
her embracing him.
World Trigger 161
As everyone’s waiting for Michael
and Yuri to return, Reiji seems a little off, fixing Chika’s collar because he
doesn’t want to be embarrassed.
The pair enter, Reiji volunteering
to take their luggage, though they already sent it ahead with a delivery
company.
Yuri, an Operator for Tamakoma,
introduces herself as Rindou’s niece and is happy to meet them, while Michael
initially goes with his alias as Canadian before being told they know he’s a
Neighbor.
Yotarou and Rindou arrive, Yotaro
talking about making Chika his second wife, Yuri already decided as his first.
Michael is introduced to Hyuse, told
about him being passed off as his relative.
The group discusses the next match,
against Kageura, Azuma and Suzunari 1. With the points the way they are,
Tamakoma 2 is tied with Ikoma at 30 points and they need to surpass Kageura’s
34 points to be in the top 2, so they have to get 5 points in the next 2
matches. Osamu’s confident with their new member and strategies they have a
solid chance against even Kageura squad.
Michael and Yuma go with Hyuse to
decide his Trigger setup, while Shiori reviews the team’s previous matches with
Osamu.
They note that he’ll be staying
here, school on break for a while, preparing for the matches a higher priority,
since they have recommendations for the local Mikado high school from Border.
Yuri asks Chika and Reiji to help
prepare Osamu’s room, Chika noticing how Reiji acts around her.
Meanwhile, Hyuse, Michael and Yuma
all discuss what Triggers Hyuse should use. Hyuse is thinking of using Kogetsu,
but is also interested in the Escudo Trigger that Karasuma used in spite of the
Trion consumption being higher. For a Shooter Trigger, he wants the Viper type,
which can change trajectory.
Hyuse leaves a spot open, saying he
wants to test the layout in a match against Yuma, who agrees.
Chika leaves as Osamu enters the
room, Yuri leaving him to get settled. Osamu notices the name on the door is
“Kido” implying that Masamune Kido, the head administrator of Border, used to
live in Tamakoma 2
Magi 324
David is shocked at Ugo still being
in control of the Sacred Palace. Ugo responds that he saw through his and
Arba’s plan to use Sinbad, but David says that’s not possible, since he
absorbed Ill Illah’s power.
But Ugo retorts that he doesn’t
think creation should be entirely separate from the god that created them, able
to perceive the flow of destiny to some extent or be able to go against it a
new rule he implemented in the world he made with Solomon’s magic.
Ugo notes that he has become a
different kind of God, noting that in his free time, he’s discerned that there
are ranks of gods and he managed to supersede Ill Illah’s abilities.
David is astounded at this, thinking
he and Ugo can be friends, but Ugo ignores him, grasping the interloper in his
hand.
Arba awakens in the Sacred Palace,
confused as to where David and Ill Ilah are. Ugo directs her to see them in
what appears to be a fish tank with a jellyfish and a black hole. David has
been allowed to create a lower tier world, where the beings won’t comprehend
their god or even themselves, more like cells that comprise a human body.
This infuriates Arba, but Ugo notes
that he’s just fulfilled Ill Illah’s will.
Ugo says that he is an all powerful
god and Arba realizes she cannot oppose him, focused on his task so much after
losing Aladdin’s companionship.
He asks Arba if she can be his
friend now, since with time not passing in the Sacred Palace, it feels as if
time is near infinite, so he’s grown bored.
But Ugo is also confused as to why
Aladdin and Yunan haven’t chosen another king with their fear of Sinbad’s
power.
We see David in the process of
creating his world, but perceives something is off, the chapter ending as
Sinbad reveals he is still conscious in spite of being within the flow of the
rukh, saying that David was a stepping stone to this point of his ambitions.
Magi is on break next week
One Piece 843
Luffy’s attack sends Cracker flying
all the way back to Whole Cake Chateau, crashing into Big Mom’s throne room,
where the other 2 Sweet Commanders, Potato Starch and Smoothie are waiting.
The Ministers of Butter, Whipped
Cream and Cheese all crowd around Cracker’s battered body, wondering who could’ve
done this. The Minister of Butter, Galette, remembers that he was heading to
the Seducing Woods with Straw Hat Luffy as his target.
Whole Cake Chateau goes under
lockdown as they prepare to retalitate.
Meanwhile, Luffy is slowly deflating
as Gear 4 consumed so much energy. Nami is ecstatic at their victory, though
Pound and Baum both note that they’re in a dangerous position now, Nami
especially with having a Vivre Card of Big Mom’s soul.
Pound remembers when Snack, the 4th
Sweet Commander, was defeated, Cracker’s forces swarmed into the sea and Big
Mom unleashed a storm that decimated the enemy. She’s rumored to be able to
summon storm clouds and the wrath of the sun itself.
Luffy’s still frustrated at Sanji
just leaving them with the letter and not telling them anything. He wonders why
things have happened in such a way so far: Pekoms disappeared, Sanji and Pudding
not showing up at the meeting place, getting lost in the Seducing Woods. The
imminence of the wedding is still fresh in their minds
Baum is commanded to carry Luffy
back to the city.
Nami briefly communicates with
Chopper and Carrot, who are still trapped in the Mirror World, trying their
best to get out.
Luffy is still shrinking, nearly
back to normal as Baum sights the Germa 66 procession. Nami and Luffy both call
out to Sanji as Niji and Yonji both seem to be smitten with Nami as their
brother is.
As Luffy tells Sanji he’s here to
bring him back, Sanji thinks about the threats to himself and his friends from
Big Mom’s crew and associates.
Sanji kicks Luffy away, saying that
he never regarded them as friends, just keeping his royal blood a secret
because he didn’t want to disappoint them. And he emphasizes that with things
as they are now, he’d prefer to stay with Germa 66 instead of going back to the
Straw Hats.
The chapter ends as Luffy insists he
doesn’t believe Sanji as the Black Leg Chef moves to defeat his friends and end
this conflict quickly before the wedding.
It’s doubtful Sanji is being
truthful here, more than likely a bluff to protect his friends from the wrath
of his family.
Toriko 392
The explosion of CENTER from the
earth shocks Teppei, a massive life force present in it.
Toriko explains to PAIR how he’s
recognized that NEO is slowly taking over Acacia’s personality and consciousness,
very little of the Gourmet God’s mind left. This is because he never ate a
truly compatible ingredient, unlike Toriko and the others
Acacia attacks again with even
greater force as Toriko is pushed back and screaming. But it isn’t one of
despair as NEO desires, his assaults being pushed back by the rage.
We see Toriko giving thanks to the
ingredients, his Gourmet Luck manifesting his hands that were bitten off
before.
Toriko unleashes a massive assault
of Nail Punches, Forks and Knives in his Full Course of Rage, but it still
doesn’t fully defeat Acacia, NEO’s power still too great.
He tries to eat Toriko again, but
the Gourmet Luck, as it did before, takes the attacks as a substitute, Komatsu
and the others actually safe from the attacks that would’ve killed them.
But Starjun observes that Acacia is
intentionally eating the Gourmet Luck, even consuming that of others, somehow
still not exploding from the gluttony he’s manifesting with his appetite.
Acacia stabs Toriko again, saying
that this will finish everything, but he’s shocked to see Toriko’s third
Appetite Demon manifest, consuming the black cells of NEO.
The mysterious Appetite Demon
comments that he cannot be out for long, but that this Full Course of Rage is complete
and Toriko need only say the final words of gratitude
As Toriko does so, the unknown
Appetite Demon touches Acacia and the rage explodes outward as NEO’s form is
seemingly destroyed with the chapter’s end.
Fairy Tail 506
Mavis remembers how she was the one asked to name
Makarov when he was born and become his godmother, breaking down at the loss of
someone she’s known for so long.
Laxus encourages her, saying that Fairy Tail still
needs her help and Makarov would’ve wanted it this way.
Zeref asks Eileen about the status of things, the
Enchantress reporting that 70-80% of their main forces are defeated, though
none of the remaining Spriggan 12 are affected, so she thinks that things will
remain the same.
Meanwhile, Natsu and Gray’s fight continues, neither
side giving an inch. Gray pushes back Natsu slightly, though Natsu’s power
seems to be overwhelming even in the face of Gray’s strength inherited from his
father.
The two are ready to finish each other off, but as
they clash, Erza stops them, tearfully asking why they’re fighting as the
chapter ends.
