Black Clover 63
We see Sekke in the aftermath of
what’s implied to be Vett’s attack on Racque, having taken out about 50 mid to
high level Magic Knights.
Back at the Water Temple, Luck and
Magna are impressed at his strength, Luck even observing how his magic seems to
be higher than even Yami’s.
The Temple Knight Vett defeated
seems to still be able to move after the attack last time. He asks Vett what
he’s doing here, the Beast Mage saying that he wants the Magic Stone as well,
insisting that he’ll make everyone here feel despair before he leaves.
Vett’s subordinates move to attack
elsewhere while the priest’s son thinks Vett’s underestimating him, saying he’s
the strongest in the temple. Vett says they should prove it by exchanging blows
with magic
The strongest Temple Knight uses his
Neptune’s Hammer again, striking Vett with amazing force. But Vett reveals he
was using Rhino Armor, making the attack pretty much ineffective on him.
Vett combines Cheetah Charge and
Bear Claw to defeat Dio, the strongest of the Temple Knights and the priest’s
son, astonishing them with how powerful he must be. Yami tells the priest to
let him in, since things are getting serious now.
But the priest says his magic
doesn’t allow them to enter or exist until the game is over. Yami moves to use
his Shadow Magic to slash into the area, but finds that another spatial mage
like Finral has created a separate dimension, trapping them inside and
preventing his entry.
Vett says he’ll leave eventually and
show Yami the despair of seeing his comrades dead.
The priest changes the rules, the
time now unlimited and the goal to defeat Vett and the others in his group.
Asta and Kiat’s fight is postponed
as well as any others, the 2 groups now allied to fight the mage from the Eye
of the Midnight Sun
Vett’s moving onto a new prey, but
we see Luck and Magna are still ready to fight, their auras more intense now as
they ready their grimoires to fight more as Vett thinks they should’ve given up
when they had the chance. The chapter ends as their fight is set to begin.
Boku no Hero Academia 92
Todoroki contacts Deku, confirming
that they’re safe, heading in the opposite direction and guided by pro Heroes.
Deku’s group is in front of the train station, Bakugou trying to say he wasn’t
saved, just decided to go with them so he wouldn’t get in All might’s way
Deku wonders if they did the right
thing as we shift to All Might’s fight.
We find that Shimura Nana, All
Might’s master, was indeed a woman, All For One calling her pathetic in her
tireless pursuit of justice.
All Might is enraged, knocked into
the air by All For One’s attack. Gran Torino catches him, telling his student
to not get caught up in talking with his rival, since that’s what cost him the
chance last time 6 years ago.
The strategies have changed, so All
Might is advised to wait until he’s vulnerable and take him out in that moment.
Newscasters are covering the scene,
still unaware of the connection between All Might and All For One and their
fight.
As people watch the news, seeing the
destruction in Kamino, they begin to speak as if the Heroes are slacking off.
All For One sees this as an opportunity to truly shatter people’s trust in
Heroes in this day and age.
All For One tells All Might that as
much as he hates him, he also hagtes the #1 Hero, wanting his death to be as
disturbing as possible. As he moves to
attack again, whether All Might should dodge or not is brought into question,
people possibly being in danger if he lets the attack go elsewhere.
The attack blasts him, his weakened
form exposed to the world through the cameras following the incident.
All Might ignores All For One’s
taunts, saying that he cannot break his spirit like this.
But All For One says he’ll reveal
something more important to him: Shigaraki is Shimura Nana’s grandchild.
All Might doesn’t believe him, but
All For One insists it’s true, saying that he must feel awful for not knowing
such a thing and raising a hand against a relative of his master.
The Symbol of Peace is divided at
first, but a woman in the rubble encourages him, other people following suit.
The chapter ends as All Might pushes
himself to restore his power again, saying that he won’t lose, because he has
to protect people, even if it may kill him
Seven Deadly Sins 176
Estarossa continues to step on
Meliodas as the others are relieved he stepped in before the Sin of Wrath used
Revenge Counter.
Merascylla asks Gloxinia to heal her
wounds, the Fairy King agreeing as we see her burnt form restored to its
healthy appearance from before
Meanwhile, Derriere and Monspiet
comment on how they’ve felt something watching them, realizing that it’s
Meliodas’ allies through the scrying orb.
Estarossa then talks to Meliodas,
asking when he planned to betray his new comrades, like he did the Ten
Commandments in the past. Meliodas was seen as one of the greatest ever, making
even the Goddesses cower in his presence, many thinking he would be the
successor to the Demon King.
Estarossa admired Meliodas, but his
betrayal not only crippled the Ten Commandments by killing 2 of them, but then
left a gap where the Goddesses turned the other races against the Demon Tribe.
He continues to mock Meliodas, thinking he’s just imagining some way to use his
new friends and make them suffer as well.
Merascylla chimes in, saying she
should be the one to kill Meliodas, since his allies hurt her and Galan.
Ban is told about the situation as
he embraces Elaine. He asks Gilfrost to teleport him to where Meliodas is
Merascylla is putting forth the
effort to pull out Meliodas’ soul, succeeding.
But in that moment, none of the Ten
Commandments realized that Ban appeared on the scene, his presence negated by
Zero Sign, an ability he may have had or recently acquired through training,
it’s unclear
The Fox’s Sin appears behind
Merascylla and snaps her neck. He then initiates Fox Hunt, ripping out her
throat.
Meliodas says he shouldn’t have
come, but Ban thinks he was equally crazy to do what he did before.
The chapter ends as Ban says that
they’re both fools, so they’ll be good allies in this fight
World Trigger 145
Katori unleashes a barrage of
bullets on Yuma and Osamu, but their reaction makes Izumi and the others think
she’s getting frustrated and they’re trying to wait her out so she’ll waste her
Trion.
Meanwhile, Teruya is getting closer
to Chika, who seems to be ready to fight her, should she get in close range.
Teruya leaps into the air, Chika
firing a shot to take advantage of the positioning. But Teruya then pulls a
piece of the broken structure nearby and blocks the shot, allowing her to get
in range.
As Teruya gets right near Chika, she
deactivates her Sniper, using a Hound instead, combining it with Lead Bullet to
lob a storm of bullets that pin Teruya down with the weights that pierce
through her body.
But with a final burst of energy,
Teruya releases her own Hound, the shots arcing around to get past Chika’s
shield and take her out as well. Teruya uses Bail Out herself, since otherwise
she’d get taken out and Kakizaki’s position would be worse off.
They have 1 point, the other
possible point depending on how Katori fights against Yuma.
Katori has a chance to get even in
points with Tamakoma 2 if she takes out Yuma and Osamu, since the survival
points will boost them up to 4 as well.
She doesn’t think she can really do
it, but she has to try her best to not lose to them anyway.
Katori uses her disabled arm as a
way to create tension on the wire and bounce herself at Osamu, using a Scorpion
on her other arm to nearly slice off his head.
The Trion loss makes Osamu Bail Out,
the commentators impressed that she was able to attack using the Wires that
were meant for Tamakoma 2’s advantage.
As she moves to attack Yuma, Izumi
recognizes that Osamu did something, his last attack a Wire that Katori
couldn’t see.
Since she’s caught on it, Yuma uses
the technique he’d been studying from Kageura to stab her through the body with
a stretching Scorpion blade, the chapter ending as she Bails Out, Tamakoma 2
winning the match
Magi 307
We see Morgiana training with the
Fanalis, seeking to get stronger.
Meanwhile, back at Kina castle,
Hakuryuu is training with Takeru in polearm fighting. He asks him to advance to
the next level with Metal Vessels, but Takeru says he’s getting a bit old for
that, Aladdin even commenting that he’s middle aged, practically.
Aladdin thanks Takeru for letting
them stay here, the king of Kina saying he’s grateful as well, since it was
thanks to Aladdin that they could make the kingdom float in the air. Aladdin
explains it’s also due to the country’s landmass being a collection of magoi
from Alma Torran, making it like an ancient artifact in a way.
Takeru emphasizes how this enabled
them to become independent of Sinbad, not wanting to be tied down by the
International Alliance. He regards Sinbad as his rival, partly because they’re
of the same age and he wants to become a ruler like him, hailed as the King of
the Seven Seas.
Nashime, another retainer of
Takeru’s like Nanaumi, notes how Aladdin is being pursued by Arba, someone who
took the cannon fire of Kina and survived, regarding her as a monster.
But Aladdin says that with their
training, they won’t be beat so easily. They go to meet the Origin Dragon
before they head out to the other side of the Great Rift.
She comments that they met after she
took Judar and Alibaba from the other world. Aladdin, being blessed by the
Rukh, should be able to sense the distortions slightly, along with Judar,
meaning they could be relatively aware of each other in spite of being in 2
separate areas of the world, the Dark Continent part of the old world past the
Great Rift.
With Morgiana trained by the Red
Lions, Hakuryuu by another Metal Vessel user and Aladdin with the Origin Dragon
regarding magic, they are stronger now, like Solomon’s group was when they
fought against David.
The group heads out with Aladdin’s
teleportation magic, but before they start their travels, Takeru asks what’s so
great about Alibaba.
Aladdin says that in spite of being
so ordinary, Alibaba encourages others to do great things and thus helps
everyone in the grand scheme of things as a person who can change the world.
Hakuryuu is impressed at Alibaba
aiding his empire with Kougyoku. He even compares Sinbad and Alibaba to those
who draw others forward and those who move forward with others, almost like the
difference between a black hole and a sun
The chapter ends as Aladdin’s group
heads out to find Alibaba and face Sinbad.
Bleach 676
Inoue is fearful of Ichigo’s new
form, since it reminds her of when he fought Ulquiorra at Hueco Mundo, being
uncontrollable and dangerous. But Ichigo assures her he’s still in control this
time.
Juhabach observes the new form’s
resemblance to a Hollow and inquires about its nature in relation to Ichigo’s
innate powers.
Ichigo explains that with the
reforging of his Zanpakutou, he’s now gotten more of a balance and control with
the powers, though he still required Juhabach’s reiatsu to rein in his Hollow
powers when he releases them with his new Zanpakutou.
Juhabach is impressed, Inoue shocked
as Ichigo moved so fast that he got around her barrier in the blink of an eye.
He tells her to get back to safety while he fights.
The Quincy King unleashes his sword,
blasting a path in front of him.
Ichigo rushes forward to attack, the
clash of the two exploding outward to destroy the walls around them.
But it seems Juhabach can still stop
the blade barehanded, saying that this new power is still insufficient.
Ichigo pulls back, starting a
Getsuga Tenshou, which Juhabach thinks he can handle.
But he realizes something’s
different as the Getsuga Tenshou is becoming white. We see that Ichigo’s
melding it with a Gran Rey Cero, the chapter ending as he attacks Juhabach, the
blast cutting deep into him as the Hollow powers are seen as poison to a
Quincy.
One Piece 828
Luffy’s group and Pudding are both
in shock at the revelation of their identities to each other. Pudding in
particular is concerned for her safety, brandishing a knife at them, thinking
they’re dangerous, especially since they sneaked past security for getting into
Big Mom’s territory.
Pedro grabs her, putting his blade
to her neck, Nami stopping him. They quickly resolve the issue off panel as
Pudding explains how her being Big Mom’s child means she’s resigned herself to
not picking her own spouse. She says that one of her sisters left at some
point, possibly Lola.
Brook asks about her being the 35th
daughter of the Big Mom family, Pudding qualifying that Big Mom actually has 39
daughters and 46 sons, meaning they have quite a large family, spread out
amongst 43 husbands, some of the children even having their own children. And
this is implied to be biological in relation, albeit there are likely many half
siblings
They ask if Pudding’s met Sanji, the
patissier confirming she has once and she’s quite smitten with him, making the
forced marriage potentially less distressing that it would otherwise be. The
group is happy that such a nice person is marrying Sanji, given the
circumstances of it being political in nature.
Pedro says they should restrain her
and keep her prisoner, since otherwise there’s a huge risk that she could
reveal them and get them captured by Big Mom’s crew.
Pudding chimes in, saying that she
and Sanji share a great deal in common, especially the fact that they don’t
want to get married to someone they don’t truly love. With that in mind, as
well as meeting Sanji’s friends, realizing that he’s not being selfish, but
truly wants to continue being with the Straw Hat crew, she gives them a map,
showing a secret route that will get them to Whole Cake Island unnoticed.
She sets up a meeting with them on
the southwest part of Whole Cake Island, where she’ll bring Sanji to them. The
group escapes while Pudding is picked up at the door by soldiers who are going
to return her to Whole Cake Island for the wedding
The group picks up their food
supplies and returns to the ship, but finds Pekoms isn’t there, discovering a
note that tells them to turn back. But Luffy says they’ll keep going forward
We shift to another island in the
New World, where Germa 66 is fighting a war on behalf of a country being
invaded. They finish off the remaining soldiers and get their reward, leaving
to cheers of the people, praising them for helping to end the conflict
The pair is contacted regarding the
wedding, saying they’ll get there in 2 days. Both of them seem to be more of
Sanji’s siblings, one of them interested in meeting his brother, while the
other thinks he’s lying as the chapter ends on the wedding’s date coming
closer.
One Piece is on break next week
Toriko 373
Aimaru and Brunch are still heading
towards where the Gourmet Slime Mold is directing them.
The Gourmet Knight’s face is
changing, Brunch thinking it’s connected to a Gourmet Cell Demon. The irony is
palpable, since the Gourmet Knights espouse a simple diet. But he thinks that
his appetite is also being drawn to what his Gourmet Slime Mold is pointing
them to. It was awakened when he ate Acacia’s Full Course, the drive he had to
compete with Toriko much clearer than it was before.
The location, according to his
appetite, is the place where the meteorite that changed Earth landed many aeons
ago.
It’s called Area 0, where the
Gourmet Cells erupted, also known as the Land of Origin, which then split into
the 7 continents in the Gourmet World today.
They’re heading to the center of
that continent, where CENTER lies, the origin of life on earth all those years
ago. If you take every first letter of the ingredients in Acacia’s Full Course,
it even spells out Pangaea, the original continent that was split into pieces
when the flavor burst forth with the Gourmet Cells out of the earth’s core.
Brunch wonders if this means CENTER
is more important, Acacia saying that those who ate GOD in the past were led to
Area 0, suggesting that it’s the Farthest Origins spoken of by those who seek
the ultimate flavor.
There is a secret entrance nearby to
Area 0 from Area 1, but Brunch and Aimaru are interrupted by Derous, flying
over them. They think this means all the Eight Kings are heading to Area 0 as
well, rather than engage with GOD.
We shift over to NEO’s headquarters,
where the survivors are trying to figure out what’s going on. They discover the
Golden Cookware, Joa having amassed much of the Gourmet Material that never
decays to prepare these tools in order to prepare Acacia’s Full Course.
Nakaume feels strangely confident
holding the Golden Cookware, saying he wants Teppei to take him to where GOD
is. The others think it means his Food Luck is especially powerful, Teppei
noting that he’s become quite determined in spite of his previous trauma that
turned his hair white.
As they start to leave, the
secretary of the IGO, Umeda, seemingly never being controlled by Joa, moves to
stop them, Zaus and Apollo, another chef in the area, preparing to hold him off
while Teppei and Nakaume leave to travel towards GOD
We see Toriko still being affected
by Acacia’s Hard Back Channel, the Gourmet God explaining how with eating NEWS,
the sheer speed of Gourmet Cell division, said to be able to exceed light
speed, is awakened. And when you push it to its limit, you can slow down time
so much that even though 1 second may have passed outside, a month has
progressed inside the Back Channel, Toriko being sized up by NEO all that time.
But Toriko isn’t fazed, saying that
his Gourmet Cell Demons have been doing some observations as well in that time
Toriko bites into NEO to his shock,
tearing off some of his flesh. The chapter ends as Toriko states that, even
though he has nothing against NEO, he will make him the meat dish in his Full
Course
Fairy Tail 487
We see Brandish’s group approach August, Brandish
explaining that she’s here to negotiate. He asks about Jacob’s status, Brandish
confirming he’s been taken captive. She inquires regarding God Serena, August
suggesting he’s still alive in some sense.
The amount of power August has seems to dwarf even
Brandish’s in the eyes of Natsu’s group, particularly Mest.
Brandish answers August’s question regarding what
she means by negotiation, saying she wants to stop his advance. He concludes
she hasn’t been tortured, thinking she has betrayed them. The Spriggan retorts
that she’s loyal to Alvareth, but sees no meaning in the war.
August claims that very thought confirms she has
betrayed Zeref, since she swore to uphold his will.
We shift to the fight in northern Fiore, both Fairy
Tail and Sabretooth doing their best.
Gajeel and Levy’s fight with Bradman is resumed with
the Reaper saying that there are 3 seals he will open: the first negates their
magic, the second reveals the underworld and the third passes judgment on their
souls. Beyond the third, they have no hope, but Gajeel says his power seems
weak.
Bradman qualifies that what he manipulates is not
magic, but curse power, meaning he channels the power of the Tartaros Nine
Demon Gates, utilizing Ezel’s sword powers. We see him use the other powers,
Levy and Gajeel managing to counter Torafusa’s Tenchi Kaimei and Silver’s Ice
Demon Roar, but Bradman then unveils his third seal, Over Skelter, trying to
send their souls to the underworld by force.
The whirlpool of skeletons seems to absorb them, but
they avoid the brunt of the effects. Levy’s mask, however, has been removed,
the mage coughing up blood. She explains that anti magic particles can be
absorbed through the skin, so she was never safe to begin with.
Gajeel rushes to attack Bradman, his iron pillars
ineffective now and the Spriggan stabbing him in return.
The Iron Dragon Slayer remembers how he’s always
fallen behind, not getting an Exceed partner until later and not learning
Dragon Force yet in his training.
We see Gajeel resolve to save Levy, even confirming
to fans that he indeed does love her, sucking in the anti magic particles to
Bradman’s disbelief.
He metabolizes the iron in the particles, changing
his body’s power to that of the curse, able to harm the Spriggan with physical
attacks. After a barrage of blows seemingly destroys Bradman, Gajeel is
satisfied in his victory.
But the chapter ends as Bradman’s tentacles of curse
energy draw the Dragon Slayer into a portal, saying that he will take him as
well, trapping him for eternity in the underworld.
