Boku no Hero Academia 62

Deku is shocked at the collateral damage to the city All Might caused, but the Hero explains he’s behaving as a Villain in this test, so they shouldn’t underestimate him.

All Might rushes at them, the pressure of his presence stunning Deku. But Katsuki uses his Stun Grenade to stop All Might in his tracks.

However, All Might manages to grab his face, but he’s taken aback as Bakugou still tries to attack him with bursts of explosions. Bakugou is slammed down as All Might turns to face Deku, who starts to use Full Cowl.

Bakugou appears behind him, not fazed by All Might’s attack and still trying to attack head on.

Recovery Girl notes how Deku’s strategy to flee is because he respects All Might too much, while Bakugou, with all his talent, is still being reckless for some reason.

As Deku says they really need to retreat, Bakugou notes that a Hero must win, because that’s how they must be seen to the public, flashing back to the Explosion Quirk admiring how cool All Might was in his younger days.

But All Might takes a guardrail, pinning Deku harmlessly to the ground, punching Bakugou in the gut and knocking him out.

The punch didn’t manage to completely neutralize Bakugou, All Might telling him that his jealousy isn’t warranted, since he’s already strong enough compared to Deku. What needs to change is not his strength, but his heart.

Deku thinks to himself that he admired how Bakugou never gave up and always strove to win, Katsuki telling All Might that he’d rather lose than get help from others like Deku.

Suddenly, Deku, having escaped the restraints, punches Bakugou and takes him away, retreating as he tells him that he shouldn’t think that way, since he’s always been an inspiration to Deku with his strong resolve.

We flashback to Deku remembering how Bakugou took on fourth graders as a first grader, noting again how the number 1 Hero always wins.

As All Might thinks Deku and Bakugou will retreat, the Explosion Quirk user appears behind him with an attack. With that distraction, Bakugou calls out to Deku, begrudgingly working with his rival.

The chapter ends as Deku has Bakugou’s other grenade armlet, prepared with a blast and releasing it.

Seven Deadly Sins 143

We’re reminded about the dead wandering around seeking revenge, Ban moving to kiss Elaine again. But Jericho is shocked at his reaction, since she slit his throat last time before embracing him. But Ban says he won’t die from this and that it’s definitely Elaine.

The fairy is still jealous of Jericho, attacking her. Ban stops her, saying that she’s a friend, but she insists that the Holy Knight is trying to take him away. The Sin stops her before she attacks again, saying he only loves her, not Jericho or anyone else.

Elaine strikes at his shoulder, cutting him deeply. She asks why he protects Jericho, thinking that he betrayed her. The fairy guardian wanted to go on a journey with Ban, but he didn’t do it, allowing Jericho to travel with him instead.

Jericho moves to attack, saying Elaine shouldn’t act like this to someone she loves, Elaine retorting that she just wants to stop Ban from letting her kill the Holy Knight. Jericho manages to pin Elaine down, both of them proclaiming that they love the Fox’s Sin, but Elaine claiming that he won’t look at Jericho ever.

The Holy Knight replies that she owes her life to Ban, but that Ban still focuses on Elaine, seeking out some way to revive her. Jericho insists that she loves Ban and won’t do anything to make him sad, while Elaine’s feelings are so shallow that she was manipulated after death to seek revenge against a rival in love.

Elaine acknowledges this, wanting someone to stop her, seemingly moving beyond her will now. Ban grabs her, saying that he accepts her and will make her his, like he promised.

But suddenly as Elaine apologizes, she faints.

We see Merascylla and Galan of the Ten Commandments, the Commandment of Faith explaining that her magic only works on the revived subject if they still have regrets, losing it returning them to death.

She’s impressed at seeing one of the Seven Deadly Sins that Fraudrin told them about. Ban leaves Elaine with Jericho, moving to fight them as they introduce themselves, the chapter concluding on this imminent clash of powers.

World Trigger 117

The meeting begins as we’re reminded that Enedora gave more info, telling them that another invasion is coming soon. There are 3 nations according to Replica’s map that are in close proximity, 2 of which are subordinates of Aftokrator.

Some wonder if they’re going to try to kidnap people with Trion again, but Jin says he can’t be sure, since he hasn’t seen any futures where people are attacked or the like.

Azuma thinks they might be after other goals, like info or tech, Kazama suggesting that freeing Hyuse, a prisoner of war, might also be logical. But the countries aren’t big, so they can’t be sure of how they’ll attack.

Shinoda says they’ll keep an eye on the 2 Aftokrator vassal nations for now, Kido giving one order before they start to decide the defense formation.

The Commander in Chief says they will keep this mission confidential, so as not to incite panic in the citizens. Kazama notes that this will mean controlling information flow in Border itself. Only necessary staff above B Rank (excluding Azuma and some others, most likely) will know about this, everything else continuing as normal.

Azuma suggests Amo should know, if only because he has a Side Effect that will be useful, the others agreeing. Kido reminds Jin that his Side Effect is essential to this plan, the ace agreeing as we shift to Tamakoma HQ

Konami and Reiji have mixed thoughts about Osamu trying to recruit Jin, Osamu explaining that he was inspired by Kazama to try to improve the team in other ways besides getting stronger himself.

But now that Jin has rejected his offer, Osamu has to focus on strategizing with the team, considering other Trigger combinations and such.

Osamu wonders about Jin’s recommendation of someone else, Yotaro discerning that it’s Hyuse. They bring up the bet, Hyuse thinking that Jin was going to make him join Tamakoma 2 if Osamu won, but he flatly says he’s not joining.

Konami and Reiji bring up obvious issues with the idea, since Hyuse is an enemy, not to mention he targeted Chika and would be joining a squad with her as a member. The only advantage might be for negotiation purposes, but it’s too risky to let him on the team in their estimation.

Chika and Yuma enter, saying they’re heading to HQ for training and Kinuta requesting them respectively, Osamu going as well. The chapter ends as they’re driving towards HQ and we see someone watching recordings with the RAD that has Enedora in it, leaving us with mystery as to what’s going on.

Magi 281-282

Morgiana asks Hakuryuu if he was planning to kill himself, the Emperor saying that he can’t do that as the new ruler. The Fanalis blames him for Alibaba’s death, but notes her regrets, feeling like she’s responsible for her friend dying because she didn’t stop Hakuryuu years ago.

Hakuryuu says she can’t do that, since she loved him, Morgiana saying that she’s realized her true feelings now. But she also says she cannot hate Hakuryuu, because both he and Alibaba fought with all their resolve. Even if it was part of fate, she tells Hakuryuu he should press on, the Zagan/Belial King Vessel thinking that he and Alibaba shared a goal in mind of saving their country.

Morgiana notes that she’ll continue to watch over him and stop the new ruler if he gets out of line in the future.

After she leaves, Hakuryuu wonders what the purpose of his revenge really was or if he’s become satisfied at all with such a goal completed. Sinbad had loftier visions and Alibaba claimed that the world can be good as long as we persist in questioning things like justice.

He realizes that he cannot sever himself from those people he hated and his own judgment is not perfect, which is why he decided not to kill Kouen. He is dead to the world, but Hakuryuu could not bring himself to kill someone who had such strong ideals. So Hakuryuu declares that he cannot pursue revenge anymore.

We shift to the place where Koumei and Kouha were exiled, the two shocked to see their brother alive. The two reunite, Hakuryuu leaving them. We find out that it was Aladdin who created the illusion of Kouen dying as he looks to see Kougyoku, who pledges her loyalty to Hakuryuu.

Hakuryuu wonders if she is plagued by guilt with her family shattered and betraying her comrades under Sinbad’s control. The chapter ends as we see her enraged, vowing that she cannot forgive the King of Seven Vessels for what he has done.

The next chapter starts with Judal, Alibaba and the Origin Dragon flying towards the new world out of Alma Torran, the Magi impatient to get to the battle with Kouen.

Back at Rakushou, capital of the Kou Empire, Hakuryuu is being officially enthroned, Aladdin thinking to himself that maybe the new emperor could patch things up with Kouha, Koumei and Kouen in the future to help Kou move forward.

But Aladdin thinks that things aren’t settled, since ultimately Sinbad is the one in control now and both he and Yunan feel a strong unease regarding his power.

We shift to Sinbad speaking with Hakuei, who thanks him for supporting Hakuryuu’s rise to emperor, Sinbad saying he’s happy to do so.

Suddenly, we see that the suspicions about Sinbad being connected to David are true, also revealing that Gyokuen is still alive, somehow either taken over Hakuei’s body or otherwise taking on her appearance. Arba remembers David and how she resented him, but now she realizes he is one with Il Illah and will follow him.

Sinbad notes that he is in control, David apparently more in the background and that he doesn’t want to use her as part of Al Thamen, but in regards to his own plans, Arba pledging her loyalty.

Judar and Alibaba appear in the Dark Continent, seeing the true form of the Fanalis, but still wanting to move forward to where Aladdin and Hakuryuu are.

Things are coming to a peak, Aladdin worried about Kougyoku, even though she assures him Sinbad has removed Zepar’s influence from her, while we see that Sinbad seeks his own agenda in all of this with Arba’s aid.

The chapter ends as we see that it will still take Judar and Alibaba 2 years to get to the main continents, ending on a likely timeskip as we await the start of the next and final arc in the last week of October.

One Piece 803

We see that the Thousand Sunny is near Zou as well, confirming that Sanji, Nami, Brook and Chopper, along with Momonosuke and Caesar, are likely at the moving island as well.

Bartolomeo’s crew bids Luffy’s group farewell as Kanjuro uses his Devil Fruit power to summon a Climbing Dragon, the groups splitting up as Luffy and crew start to climb up Zou.

Meanwhile, Dragon is told by Koala and Sabo about how there are many revolutionary armies sprouting up in the countries left hanging with Doflamingo being removed from power. Koala also says that the weapons they recovered from Dressrosa had trace amounts of a mineral called Liquore. Dragon compliments her on finding out this intel, asking her to call together the leaders of all the armies, since they’ll need their help in the upcoming war.

We shift to one of Blackbeard’s ships, Burgess contacting Lafitte and Shiryu, telling them that he’s at the headquarters of the Revolutionary Army, where he says that there are a lot of weapons for them to get.

Buggy is encouraging his men to continue to pillage, since under his authority as a Shichibukai, they’re permitted to do so. He’s told by one of his subordinates that Hajrudin and his other 4 giant mercenaries quit, leaving him somewhat weakened without their power under his command.

Back at Zou, Luffy asks Kinemon and Kanjuro why they’re heading to Zou, the two samurai explaining that they’re interested in Momonosuke’s safety, but also whether their 3rd companion, Raizou, a ninja, might have taken shelter here.

The chapter ends as something is falling down on Luffy’s group.

Bleach 646

Shinji complies with Kyouraku’s order, Hinamori surprised at his willingness to leave the Captain Commander behind. He explains that they should trust him as the leader and also that Ukitake would’ve supported his decision. Even if it had been Yamamoto, they’d have probably wanted to press on, since the commander of the Gotei 13 will take responsibility.

Shunsui’s fight continues, Lille recovering his gun, since it’s made of his reishi. The Captain Commander moves behind the Quincy, stabbing him as he utilizes the Kageokuri power to overwhelm him and pierce him through.

But it turns out that with this 3rd successful attack, the Ex Axis can fully utilize his power, Shunsui’s sword passing through him, rendering him seemingly invincible. Ex Axis continues to explain, noting how this second eye power was the last one granted by Juhabach, and is the most dangerous.

He unlocks his Vollstandig, Zyrael, taking on a butterfly like form, Shunsui unable to move from the power as the Quincy fires three blasts at him as the chapter ends.

Toriko 342

We see some Rock Mimics feeding on a monster, but running away as they sense Toriko, who’s seeking out something, pushing his sense of smell to its absolute limit. As he searches for Komatsu, he’s unaware that he’s releasing the aura of his Gourmet Cell Demon, making powerful Gourmet World monsters avoid him.

Midora speaks to Starjun after he releases Komatsu to Toriko, noting that as powerful as he was, even Midora might have had problems fighting Toriko if he had tried to take his partner back by force.

In the present, Starjun realizes the power Toriko is emitting now and that Midora wasn’t just flattering him, but was legitimately impressed.

Toriko notes how Acacia’s Full Course ingredients are all letting out a cry, now just waiting for the Eclipse and GOD to appear, which he says will be here in Area 2, because of the great diversity of climates and ecosystems it possess.

It turns out that the initial Battle Wolf Toriko and Starjun met wasn’t the Eight King, but his second in command, the actual Battle Wolf King, Guinness, appearing before them, emitting a much greater presence. They recognize that Toriko’s awakening of his Gourmet Cell Demon 2 years ago was what they sensed across the world.

The two square off, not emitting malice, but appetite, the thing that motivates them to seek out GOD, the main course of Acacia’s Full Course meal. Toriko lands a punch, the fight interrupted by the call from Komatsu.

He reveals that they finished preparing ANOTHER and are bringing Don Slime with them, the chapter ending on this, making us hope that they’ll flashback to this event and not skip over it.

Fairy Tail 455

Erza and Azir square off as Natsu, Wendy and Gajeel move to confront the ships that have already landed, thinking she’ll be fine on her own.

But Makarov thinks that even the S rank mage will have difficulty against one of the Spriggan 12 on her own, Mavis saying they should trust in her for now.

Meanwhile, Freed’s burden of shielding from the assault is cut down by the Flying Dragon squad’s assistance, while Bisca waits for the Jupiter Cannon to recharge.

Some of the Alvareth soldiers start to attack, thinking that they have someone in their ranks that can handle Freed’s Jutsu Shiki barrier. Baqel and Kareem of Azir’s squad are both ready to fight, though for vastly different reasons, one from duty and the other from desire.

Natsu, Gajeel and Wendy attack the group, but Baqel manages to ward off Natsu’s magic to his surprise.

Meanwhile, Erza’s attacks don’t seem to even intimidate Azir, who dodges them and starts to engulf her in his sand, preventing her from using Requip.

Freed notices someone’s pierced through his barrier, the scene shifting to show Wahru, who’s apparently able to negate magical defenses somehow. The reveal of another one of the Spriggans invading pushes Mavis to mobilize the rest of the forces.

Gray, Juvia, Laxus, Elfman, Lisanna and Mirajane all move to start fighting, Lucy following suit at her place. But she hears something, discovering Brandish and Marin in her bath just relaxing.

Warren reveals to Mavis that there are 2 other forces mobilizing from the north and south, both likely with 3 of the Spriggan each included, so there are 9 out of the 12 attacking them at once.

But it’s revealed there’s an even bigger force coming from the east, so all the cardinal directions are covered, Fairy Tail a sitting duck as the chapter ends on Mavis trying to figure some way out of this predicament.
