Hi Fi Cluster 11

It’s been a week since the incident in Shibuya, the news focusing on the user of Lu Bu’s Hi Fi and not Ichiro Noto, Kandera’s previous associate. Peta is also worried that nothing about Landscape Mole has come up. The other members of Special Unit Six are pretty much not present or busy.

Peta goes home with his childhood friend Nano, who’s glad that Peta’s going to school regularly, but is also curious what he does after school with Kandera and the others.

A group of students from their school are beating up someone, Peta leaving Nano to defend him. Peta’s beaten up badly, the hoodlums giving up. The would-be victim thanks Peta, introducing himself as Yokuto Asukawa, a first year in his school. Peta has a weird feeling like he’s seen Yokuto somewhere else (the headphones in particular make me think this is Landscape Mole in disguise)

Yokuto says that those guys were too cocky, thinking Peta was amazing to go against so many. Peta replies that someone he respects (Kandera) told him there are some things everyone is capable of. Kandera calls Peta back to the office, Yokuto thinking this must be fate as Peta leaves.

Yokuto is playing a driving game with someone called Shanon, the chapter ending as he entrusts Shanon to do a specific task to deliver something to him, revealing he is indeed Landscape Mole, Shanon revealing the Hi Fi (though we can’t see the name) as the chapter ends

Seven Deadly Sins 105

King, Ban and Jericho continue into the Fairy Forest, coming upon Elaine’s body, preserved as it is, meaning she must’ve been a real fairy, as opposed to King, who may not have been one to begin with.

King runs away in frustration, while Ban grabs her, saying he’ll definitely revive her. 

 

The fairies ask if they can help him, Ban asking them not to call him the king, saying Harlequin should be their leader. They claim he doesn’t deserve it, abandoning Elaine to save a few friends. But Ban responds that he’s no better, since he tried to kill Meliodas to save Elaine.

King is despondent, not even able to look at his sister’s body. But other fairies start throwing rocks and sticks at him, saying he should leave, wondering why the forest even allowed him in. Oslo, King’s black hound, appears from a portal. He increases in size, threatening to eat them, but King stops him.

He says he was wrong, especially because he couldn’t even save Helbram, having to kill him 3 times.

Oslo tells him they could go back to the kingdom, but King says he isn’t needed, nor is he even worth anything to the fairies, a nobody.

But suddenly Helbram appears before him, saying that he’s still such a crybaby. King discovers it’s an image projected through the helmet on his hood. Helbram thinks his soul might be trapped somehow. But he then confirms that he left the Capital of the Dead on an errand from Elaine, to keep King company. She also told him to tell her brother to protect Ban.

Helbram says he’s suspicious about something related to Hendricksen, but he doesn’t elaborate further.

The scene shifts back to Liones, where Bartra is giving recognition to the Sins that are present, including Hawk, who’s managed to get back to normal size, likely after eating so much. There are people in the crowd that seem to be resentful of the Sins, possibly speculating about other things.

But the chapter ends as Meliodas objects to this honor from the king, leaving on a mystery.

World Trigger 84

Karasawa and Osamu meet up with Kasumi as they’re leaving the hospital, Karasawa explaining the situation. He assures her he has permission and mistakes her for Osamu’s sister, the two reminding him she’s his mother, which shocks Karasawa.

The group arrives at a Border press conference, people wanting to know what happened, since 6 Operators were killed and 32 trainees were captured.

After the introduction, Border takes questions from people. One inquires whether Border is really capable of defending Mikado when they lost 6 people in Border HQ’s building in the attack. The Public Relations officer responds that while they regret losing people, they actually lost far less than the first attack 4 years ago. This invasion was 8 times the enemies and yet they only lost 1/40 of the casualties from 4 years ago. The level of preparation was far better, so the losses are to be expected, Border argues.

Another person questions whether this means they disregard the lost lives as simply a margin of error in their readiness. Border responds that the trainees made the sacrifice knowing they were in significant danger, which should be admired.

But someone asks why the trainees didn’t have the Bail Out function, Border responding they just don’t have enough Triggers with that function built in. Their resources are too limited even at this point, so they have to make sacrifices in that respect.

Another inquiry targets whether the Neighbors knew that Trainees couldn’t escape, referencing the attack a month ago on Osamu’s junior high, thinking that might’ve leaked to the Neighbors.

Karasawa thinks that Border planted a reporter to narrow the target of the mass media, thinking that they’ll blame all this on Osamu, even if there’s no real evidence that he was the cause. 

Osamu’s injuries start to throb in pain. Osamu starts to blame himself, but Yuma says he’s still stubbornly trying to take all the responsibility himself.

Osamu moves to enter the press conference, Yuma asking why Karasawa is supporting Osamu. Karasawa responds that someone as heroic as Osamu should be given a chance to defend himself, the chapter ending as Osamu enters, shocking Border administration.

Magi 248

We resume Judar and Hakuryuu’s fight against Gyokuen. Judar recounts that she stole most of his Black Rukh and Hakuryuu can’t use more for Djinn Equip because of Phenex’s curse.

Judar says he has a move he didn’t want to use, since it’ll render him completely powerless, but also Gyokuen. He initiates an Isolation Barrier, which we saw used in the flashback to Alma Torran, negating all magic use. This makes her, according to the Magi, just a wizened old crone.

Hakuryuu punches his adoptive mother with amazing strength, knocking her back. He continues to pummel her, asking Judar as he takes a break why he didn’t tell him this earlier. Judar says it’ll make both of them weaker, since Hakuryuu can’t use Zagan, which is what allows him to adequately wield his spear. Judar points out he can still use the sword to finish Gyokuen off, but Hakuryuu finds it gone.

Gyokuen is holding it, asking Judar to give Hakuryuu one as well. She notes that while Solomon was the strongest magician in Alma Torran, the strongest sword-user was her, Arba.

She pushes Hakuryuu back with her amazing skills, Judar wondering how she’s so strong as a mere magician.

Hakuryuu is pinned by Gyokuen, who asks if he really thinks he can kill her. After he persists in claiming he will end her, she kisses him, seemingly sucking out some of his blood as she gives him another twisted grin.

But something else knocks Gyokuen away, the chapter ending as we see Hakutoku’s two retainers, Seiryuu Ri and Hokuhyou Shuu, the Right and Left Generals respectively of the Kou Empire Army, appear to defend him, saying they won’t let Gyokuen/Arba harm the future emperor. They’ve apparently been inspired by his ambition and loyalty to his family, in spite of creating the chaos that will ensue from this conflict.

One Piece 769

Law slices a part of the rampart near Doflamingo and throws it at him, the fallen Tenryuubito stopping it with Spider’s Web. But Law uses his Ope Ope Fruit’s power to break apart another area while Doflamingo is blocking the castle chunk. With Shambles, he appears behind Doflamingo and attacks, but Doflamingo is ready this time, stopping his attack by grabbing his wrist before he can attack with Mes.

Doflamingo tells Law he shouldn’t have abandoned the plan to pit him against the Yonkou Kaidou. After telling him about Corazon, Doflamingo thinks Law has sealed his fate.

He reminds Law that it he hadn’t interfered, Corazon might’ve been able to save Dressrosa with the info he was planning to give to the Marines. Doflamingo says he would have just changed his plans and taken Dressrosa eventually, though. Law responds that everything he does is in Corazon’s name, but Doflamingo says that the fact remains there are already grave errors that cost lives that he can’t change.

Doflamingo attacks Law with Jigsaw, severing his right arm. He prepares to finish him off in the same manner as his father and brother, with a flintlock pistol.

But suddenly, Doflamingo’s clone of himself bursts from below, Luffy having defeated it. He demands Bellamy be set free, Doflamingo obliging him.

Bellamy flashes back to his first meeting with Doflamingo as he falls unconscious. Doflamingo gave him a symbol and demanded that if he lost to anyone, he must give it back. Bellamy then later lost against Luffy, but was given a chance to become part of Doflamingo’s crew by killing Luffy. 

Luffy tells Bellamy to wait here while he helps Law, but Bellamy reveals he’s strengthened his Spring Hopper technique from 2 years ago. Even as Luffy tells him to stop, that he’ll die from that kind of exertion, Bellamy says he still has to remain loyal to Doflamingo, asking him to fight him for the last time as the chapter ends.

Toriko 303

The group is still in shock as Bambina appears before them. Toriko thinks to himself that Bambina’s power compared to Heracles seems weaker at first glance. Thinking it’s asleep, he uses Riddle Chapter to check its Capture Level, which makes it screech in anger.

Sani looks at the display, showing a Capture Level of 6000, about 5x that of the Goritaurus that took the 4 of them together to beat.

The group prepares to fight and, in a literal blink of an eye, Sani is left alone, blown back by a wave of pressure. He looks around, having seen a flash of vision that seemed like everyone else was slaughtered.

The chapter ends as Sani screams in despair at the situation, everyone else possibly killed and Bambina nowhere to be found. 

I’m thinking this might be a Routine, since I seriously doubt the author would just kill off 3 of the main characters. The sheer speed of Bambina within the 0.1 seconds it took Sani to blink makes me think there’s definitely an interesting twist coming up, though I can’t say what.

Bleach 607

Juhabach continues to taunt Ichibei, saying that his power was so great that the leader of the Shinigami had to halve it, meaning he was legitimately scared.

But Juhabach reminds Ichibei that he can restore this power back to himself. Even someone like Ichibei cannot truly take away his power, because, according to the Original Quincy, everything is his to take.

He attacks Ichibei with a blast that he stops by crushing between his hands.

Ichibei says that he was only trying to spare Juhabach’s pride by taking away half his power instead of outright trouncing him at full power. He throws a kido at him, but Juhabach uses Blut Vene Anhaben, projecting the Blut Vene outside his body as a barrier.

But Ichibei uses an advanced hakuda attack, Teppuu Usatsu, smashing the barrier and grabbing Juhabach by the throat. Juhabach brings up that his Blut Vene Anhaben can invade the bodies of others to destroy them, but Ichibei, by sheer force of muscle, breaks the Blut Vene Anhaben and pushes Juhabach back.

The chapter ends as Ichibei says Juhabach has really pressed his patience and now he has to be killed, releasing his Shikai, Ichimonji.

Fairy Tail 410

Natsu and Gray’s attack knocks Marde Guile down temporarily, but he quickly recovers, dodging Natsu and Gray’s attacks, striking with Dea Yggdrasil, a tower of Thorns. 

The Dragon and Devil Slayers manage to stop the attack. Gray unleashes Ice Make Gungnir, Marde Guile dodging. But Natsu was in the ice, hitting the demon with Fire Dragon’s Brilliant Flame.

Marde Guile crashes to the ground, but stands up, with seemingly no injury. Natsu wonders if he’s invincible, Gray saying he can manage something if he gets into contact with the demon.

The Demon Lord compliments the two, saying that they are the product of the One Magic spread out into human society. But END discovered Curses, powered by emotions. Natsu says magic will forge the future, Marde Guile responding that Curses are superior, unleashing one on them that he made specifically for killing Zeref, Memory of Death: Memento Mori.

The way Marde Guile thought would be best to kill Zeref the Immortal was to erase him, make him nothing. The attack concludes, Marde Guile returning to his human form and saying that now he only has to resurrect END as the chapter concludes.
