Golem Hearts 12
The enemy golem is shocked that Nyx
is able to find its core, but at the moment of contact, a flash of light
results.
Instead of being defeated, the
Riddle Golem absorbed Nyx into its body, changing the form to reflect Nyx’s
black appearance, patching up the damage it took in the process
With this, the rogue golem says it’s
stronger now than ever and will continue to grow in power. It wants to praise
Erebus, but more than anything, it’s irritated at their resistance and wants to
kill them
Erebus remembers how his grandfather
was praised for making golems that killed people for the sake of his country,
not wanting to die here when he still desires to stop such golems from
existing.
Noah rushes in to block the attack
from the Riddle Golem, unleashing Golem Art Level 5: Paladin
Erebus tells Noah he doesn’t need the
golem’s help; that he would’ve done something, but Noah says he helped Erebus
because they share the feeling of not wanting people to die.
But Erebus still regards Noah as
trash, the enemy golem moving to attack them both. Noah pushes Erebus out of the
way, fighting on his own as he remembers Eir telling him that he needs to train
his body as much as his golem arts if he hopes to remain a contender for the
strongest arcanist
Noah is pushed back, Erebus
recognizing that he’s fighting in such a way that he won’t let Carles, Lily or
himself get hurt, even avoiding the corpses in the tower, which makes it so he
can’t gain an advantage against the Riddle Golem
Erebus, seemingly inspired by Noah’s
courage, stands up, ready to fight, which makes the Riddle Golem turn his
attention to them.
Noah moves to defend them, but the
enemy takes this opportunity to slash Noah, lopping off one of his arms.
The chapter ends as Erebus rushes to
his side, saying he can’t lose yet, asking Noah to lend him his body, wanting
to fight alongside him
Dr. Stone 45
Suika’s confused about the story Ruri’s
put forth, Chrome explaining that Senkuu’s father and the 5 astronauts were
saved from being turned to stone and they’re the ancestors of everyone in
Ishigami Village
Kohaku’s worried that means they’re
all related to Senkuu by blood, but he confirms Byakuya’s statement before that
they’re not related biologically, just on the same family register. Plus they’re
thousands of years apart anyway, so even if he was Byakuya’s son it wouldn’t
matter
The others call Senkuu’s group over
to celebrate the new chief. Later, Ruri pulls Senkuu away to tell him the last
bit of the story
Connie got sick, Yakov and his wife
leaving to get antibiotics on a raft. Shamil also contracts the disease,
Byakuya deducing it’s pneumonia. As Shamil is slowly dying, he tells Byakuya
that the ramen he ate before the world’s population turned to stone was
delicious. He’s happy that he was able to survive and have a family even if it
was just himself and the other 5.
Byakuya echoes this sentiment,
confident that humanity will rise from the proverbial ashes.
We shift forward a few years,
Byakuya writing out the Hundred Stories, Lillian wanting him to try in Japanese
as well as English. The stories are intended to help guide everyone, such as
keeping out of danger or finding food, as well as a story about minerals to
help guide someone in the future who will collect them
The final part of the story from
Byakuya tells Senkuu that he’s confident that with the “souvenirs” in the form
of allies to help him, his son will rebuild civilization from scratch
Ruri takes Senkuu to the village
graveyard, showing the stone said to be where the founders are buried from 3700
years ago
Senkuu stays around for a bit,
mourning the loss of Byakuya. But he also thanks his father for the allies he
gave him, able to make more progress than he would have alone.
Returning to the party, Senkuu approaches
Gen, asking what’s been going on in Tsukasa’s village.
The chapter ends as Gen tells him
Tsukasa’s army is approaching, Senkuu excited at the prospect of what they’ll
have to do next, the next arc beginning soon.

Can’t Study 49
In a flashback, we see that Kirisu
was at a party for teachers, stepping away for a moment because she’s not good
with such social situations. But a crab grabbed her swimsuit top and the wind
and waves carried it away, leaving her in the state Yuiga found her
He volunteers to help her get to the
changing room to find her bag, but she tries to convince him otherwise.
They progress with his plan to find
a less populated area, but Kirisu steps on a sea cucumber, grabbing onto Yuiga
and crashing down, causing him to break his glasses.
Kirisu is guiding them forward when
they stumble across a shop, Yuiga going in to get a swimsuit. The shopkeeper
says they don’t have many left, the major one a revealing type. He suggests
another one, Yuiga rushing him before he gets the explanation
It’s a school swimsuit, a bit tight
on Kirisu because she didn’t tell Yuiga her actual size, but she accepts the
situation.
Kirisu hides as two teachers spot
Yuiga, asking him if he’s seen her around. He says he hasn’t, the two leaving.
Yuiga says maybe they should just go
to the BBQ, but Kirisu doesn’t want to be seen in the school swimsuit. She
explains that her upbringing made her not like such crowds, viewing everyone as
an opponent.
Instead of saying it’s a problem,
Yuiga says that she should focus on taking help from people, like himself,
who’s helped her on multiple occasions.
She smiles, Yuiga not noticing this
as she says he might be right. As he’s squinting to check, Kirisu thinks he’s
being perverted, the two of them managing to get to the changing room.,
Kirisu, having changed, tells the
other teachers she’s heading back.
Yuiga thanks her, Kirisu insisting
that she get him a shirt and compensate him for his glasses, offering him a
ride home as well.
Considering how dangerous it is to
be in a car with Kirisu, Yuiga initially rejects the offer, but she insists,
since it’d be dangerous for him to walk home with his impaired vision. The
chapter ends as she drives him home, driving recklessly as before.
The series is finally at the 1 year
serialization, the author only having one other series that lasted past this
point and it was probably around for a couple of years. But lasting this long
in a weekly magazine is a bigger task, so Tsutsui Taishi has done a great job
Black Clover 144
People in the town notice the fight
as well as Marx, who contacts the Magic Knight Captains with his Communication
Magic
Yami heads out, wondering if his
suspicions might be true
Meanwhile, Licht is still being
pushed back, Julius dodging his attacks, even turning one against him
accelerating its time.
Licht narrowly avoids Julius’
attempt to capture him in Chronostasis, wondering how this human is so strong
to take him lightly and not attempt to kill his opponent.
Julius points to his grimoire, pages
spinning in a circle as he explains it has no cover, something peculiar for
magic tomes.
He tells Licht to really think about
who he is, reflecting on his own path that led him to become the Wizard King.
Licht is frustrated at this turn of
events, saying they intend to use the Magic Stones to turn the world’s logic
upside down
So Licht releases the Sealing Magic
on him, unleashing even more power as he says Julius must prove he can protect
everyone
Julius realizes the danger as Licht
manifests a massive cloud of light swords, threatening to rain them down on the
whole city as the chapter ends.
Boku no Hero Academia 170
Deku and Mirio are excited as they
see Eri, as we’re told in a flashback that she requested to meet them. The
nurse is concerned, but the doctor says that she isn’t really at risk of having
another incident like before.
The pair offers her a fruit basket,
Mirio incorrectly guessing Eri’s favorite fruit is peaches when it’s actually
apples.
She tells Deku she didn’t know his
name, Izuku telling her. She’s grateful that they helped her, not knowing that
Nighteye has died, Aizawa saying they shouldn’t bring that up.
But she’s also apologetic, thinking
it was her fault Lemillion lost his powers. Mirio retorts, saying they’re just
happy Eri’s okay
Deku seconds this sentiment, saying
they want to see her smile, but Eri is still suffering Chisaki’s influence, not
really remembering how to smile, only knowing fear and guilt.
To try and make her happy and
improve her psyche in some way, Deku asks Aizawa if Eri could go to the
Cultural Festival, Aizawa saying they just need to ask Nedzu for approval
Eri is happy about this, wanting to
learn more about the people who saved her
We shift to the police station,
where they’ve gotten another film submission by a mysterious villain who they
can’t seem to track.
The man asks for the money in the
register, the cashier recognizing him from his online videos.
Heroes arrive to stop him, but he
uses his or his assistant, La Brava’s, Quirk to seemingly make a “cut” (like a
video edit?)
We see the villain, Gentle, escape,
and then he meets up with La Brava, who tells him the views aren’t going up
The chapter ends as he says they
need to accomplish something even greater to gain people’s attention, Gentle
seeking something that will make him truly extraordinary
One Piece 894
We see Luffy training with Rayleigh
on Observation Haki in the past, initially attacking blindly, to his master’s
frustration
Luffy can sense Rayleigh’s anger,
the two talking after the training’s conclusion. Since Luffy can sense emotions
better than others, he has an innate talent for this Haki, though Rayleigh
wonders if he could beat someone that can see a glimpse of the future with
Color of Observation
In the present, Luffy gets a glimpse
of Katakuri’s attacks, dodging, but he still takes some of the blows
afterwards. Katakuri uses Grilled Mochi, which slams Luffy across the room, but
the Rubber Man rushes back and attacks again
Back with Bege’s group, they’re
almost at Liqueur Island, but Chiffon says they need to go to Puffs Island
instead, since they want Big Mom to be far enough away she can’t turn around
and get to Nami and the others.
Luffy is fighting Katakuri, while we
shift to Nami’s group avoiding attacks from Smoothie’s ship, the Sweet
Commander growing in size somehow.
Sanji and Pudding are heading to
Cacao Island, the chef still intending to protect Luffy somehow, though Pudding
is wondering how.
The group continues on as another
hour passes. Back on Cacao Island, many more of Big Mom’s children have arrived
on the island, wary of Luffy and generally wanting to keep the Big Mom family’s
honor.
Another hour goes by as it’s less
than an hour until the Straw Hats arrive at Cacao Island.
Luffy and Katakuri are at a
standstill, Luffy barely able to stand. But Katakuri encourages his rival,
Luffy standing up and initiating Gear Fourth Snake Man as the chapter ends
Seven
Deadly Sins 253
We see Elizabeth waiting for Meliodas, King and
Diane also sitting with Elaine awaiting Ban’s return as well.
Meanwhile, Merlin is tinkering with Gowther’s body,
amazed at how well put together he was by his creator. Gowther tells her how his predecessor praised
her, saying she was a genius and would grow up to be dangerous.
He requests something of her, Merlin wondering if it
has something to do with how the original Gowther was said to have ended the
Holy War.
We’re left wondering as the scene shifts to Hawk and
Escanor talking about how they may have to fight Meliodas if it comes to it.
But Escanor is sad that Elizabeth and Meliodas, seemingly so in love, have to
be in conflict now.
He asks Hawk how he thinks Merlin feels about him,
the pig saying he’s brawny at noon, scrawny at night. Escanor is confident that
he appeals to women, but he can’t bring himself to confess to Merlin, wanting
to ask Hawk instead.
At the local bar, Rueduciel and the other Archangels
are drinking with the townsfolk, Rueduciel wondering why humans still imbibe
this poison, but Tarmiel and Sariel thinking it’s not so bad
Rueduciel uses Invigorate to relieve his drunkenness
and notices a presence he hadn’t felt before.
Escanor and Hawk are approached by the Archangel,
who asks Escanor’s identity. He says they met before, but moves away, his pride
not allowing him to have someone smaller than him stand in front.
Rueduciel inquires about why he didn’t sense the
power last night, Escanor explaining that it’s inactive then. The Archangel
puts the pieces together, confirm that Escanor has taken it from someone he
knows.
Escanor tries to restrain Rueduciel, but he
disappears, appearing behind him.
The Archangel explains that this is his Grace, similar
to the Commandments bestowed by the Demon King, but from the Supreme Goddess.
Flash is Rueduciel’s, Ocean is Tarmiel’s and Tornado is Sariel.
Mael, Rueduciel’s younger brother, had Sunshine, but
was killed by the Ten Commandments, the Grace lost, but found in Escanor’s
possession.
Escanor is warned that the power will waste away his
human body, but the Pride doesn’t care, saying that he was chosen by this
Grace, born with it.
Rueduciel laughs as Escanor says they cannot lose
with him on their side, the conflict avoided as the chapter ends with the
Lion’s Sin saying the Archangels shouldn’t hold him back
