Golem Hearts 13
Erebus asks to use Noah’s golem
body, begrudgingly because he doesn’t have any other golem to use. Noah insists
he can still fight and that he’ll be the #1 Arcanist, the two bickering before
the Riddle Golem interrupts them, saying they can’t hope to win
We see Erebus thinking about how
hard he’s worked to surpass his grandfather and he uses a new Golem Art on
Noah, Brave Knight, great power flowing through him
He smashes the golem away, but it
rushes at him, using God Hand to try and overtake Noah’s body
To his shock, Noah still retains his
form, even Brave Knight not disappearing, which confuses Erebus
Noah says that it’d be easy for the
enemy to manipulate golems with no heart, but Noah has a dream he wants to
accomplish and he won’t give up now
As the Riddle Golem tries to attack,
Noah counterattacks, saying that someone who’s been alone all this time can’t
beat Noah, who has friends who help him, a teacher who believes in him and a
master that inspired him
The core falls from the destroyed
body, Noah picking it up and telling the others he’s going to make a new golem.
They’re worried he might make another dangerous golem, though the Riddle Golem
phenomenon is pure chance.
Erebus moves to stop him, but Noah
says that they’re the same in being golems with hearts and so he intends to
make him a kind golem, the chapter ending on this
Dr. Stone 46
The others try to figure out what
Tsukasa’s planning, Kohaku asking if he’s amassed a large group of people. Gen
confirms that Tsukasa had depetrified a lot of people, but that the leader and
another guy called Hyouga are the most dangerous, such that they should run if
they arrive
Kinrou and Ginrou are standing guard
at the village, Kinrou telling Ginrou to run and tell the others as he sees
some of Tsukasa’s supporters arrive
Kinrou says that Ginrou should cut
the bridge if he’s defeated, since the children are the closest to the
approaching army
One of the men attacks Kinrou with a
sword as another watches. Kinrou easily beats his opponent, the other man
observing revealed to be Hyouga, who confronts Kinrou
Ginrou warns the others as we see
Kinrou isn’t having an easy time with his eyesight, plus Hyouga’s skill with
the spear is amazing, managing to stab Kinrou
Kinrou tells Ginrou to cut down the
bridge, Kohaku held back by her father since it’s dangerous to fight Hyouga on
the bridge. But Ginrou hesitates, not wanting to kill his brother
Senkuu moves to ready the gunpowder,
even though he says it’d just be a bluff in this situation
Gen stops him, asking who the
strongest is. Chrome says it has to be Magma, Gen instructing Magma to throw a
rock at Hyouga.
Magma is resistant, but Gen
manipulates him with the idea that he could take Senkuu’s position and the
threat is such that they have to work together for now
The rock is thrown, the splash
drawing Hyouga’s attention as Gen tells him that the Kingdom of Science has
achieved guns, Senkuu using the iron pipe and gunpowder to make it seem like he
has the weapon along with the splash from Magma's rock that he threw furthering the illusion
The chapter ends as Hyouga says
Tsukasa will be impressed, Senkuu telling him to report that he’s alive to his
leader, the war on the horizon now as Tsukasa’s army retreats.
We
Can’t Study 50
There’s a few pages celebrating the
one year anniversary, though barely half a year has passed in the story itself,
which Rizu points out
The chapter proper starts with a
study camp, which is the final part of the cram school, 4 days and 3 nights at
a lodge, diligently studying all the while.
Rizu and Uruka are in the open air
bath, relaxing after another hard day, Uruka commenting how Rizu’s chest is
floating in the bath, to her embarrassment.
Fumino is washing her hair, wanting
to avoid the conversation about chest size. But she thinks to herself about
whether Yuiga has made any progress with Rizu or Uruka, and whether her sharing
a room with Yuiga counted as progress in their relationship
Getting shampoo in her eyes, she
washes it out. But to her shock, Yuiga comes in since he thought it was the
men’s bath, the employee forgetting to switch the signs before he entered.
Uruka and Rizu move to get out,
Fumino asking if Yuiga saw anything. He says he didn’t even realize it was a
girl next to him, making her a bit angry.
But Uruka and Rizu rush back,
Sakamoto’s group from a few chapters ago coming into the bath. They point out
to Yuiga that they can peek into the girls’ bath through a hole they plan to
make in the bamboo fence, Yuiga trying to act like he isn’t interested, since
Rizu, Uruka and Fumino are right there.
While the guys are trying to peek,
the girls hide under buckets to sneak out. Yuiga’s stopped by one of the guys
asking who he likes out of the three
Yuiga tries to deflect, but the guys
persist, one even noting he really likes Furuhashi, though when he brings up
her small chest, she throws her bucket at him.
The girls hide, bubbles coming up as
they’re worried about being discovered. But before they can investigate, the
guys reveal that they’ve gotten a hole opened in the fence
When the guys peer in, Asumi is
right there, poking one of them in the eyes as she comments that they were so
loud about it, she easily knew they were trying to peek.
Yuiga is still processing things afterwards,
but is stunned when he sees a bra left on the floor, quickly picking it up
After Uruka and the others have
escaped, they offer Yuiga some flavored milk as a thank you for helping them.
He brings up the bra he found, telling Fumino specifically, who’s taken aback
at this, though it turns out to be hers, the chapter ending on this reveal
Black Clover 145
The people of the Clover Royal
Kingdom are confused at what’s happening, Yami seeing the mass of magic as
well.
Julius realizes that Licht intends
to attack all the populace with the attack, Licht saying he’ll kill everyone
even if he can’t take out the Wizard King, using his Arrows of Judgment
Julius remembers how he saw that the
nobles were often arrogant and selfish, not wanting to use their magic to
protect the commoners.
Zara, Zora’s father, the first
commoner to become a Magic Knight, showed Julius how much hard work can make
someone strong enough to protect others, even with little magic power.
But after Zara died, his death
attributed to a betrayal from within his team Julius was more motivated to
change things, working his way to Wizard King. Things slowly began to change,
Asta and Yuno’s presence both demonstrating to everyone that commoners are just
as worthy of being Magic Knights and want to protect the Clover Kingdom
With this in mind, the people that
he trusted and put his hope in for the future, Julius uses Time Reversal Magic,
Chrono Anastasis, reversing the light swords’ time and making them disintegrate
Licht expected this, figuring that
Julius would do that and expend his magic power, readying an attack to take
advantage of the opening
Julius is stabbed with a light sword
by Julius, the chapter ending as he says that was the Wizard King’s one
weakness, wanting to protect others, Yami having arrived on the scene,
threatening a new conflict.
Boku no Hero Academia 171
We see a video that La Brava is
watching, the debut of Gentle, introducing himself as the Gentle Criminal,
suggesting that he is between a Hero and a Villain, some of which we’re told
about that are brand new to the story, like Destro, while others are familiar
like All Might and All For One
Gentle explains his intentions, not
committing crimes at random to upload on the internet, but targeting specific
places, such as the convenience store before which was hiding the expiration
labels of a popular pudding
But the company deflected and
pretended not to know. Gentle presents himself as the modern chivalrous thief,
a proverbial Robin Hood or the like.
La Brava is still frustrated at
their low views, in no small part because of Stain and the Villain Alliance’s
exploits.
Gentle says they gain such attention
because of the violence in their exploits, but he intends to do the opposite,
his next plan involving the place where they started
We shift back to UA, Brad talking to
Aizawa about Class 1-A’s plans for the cultural festival.
Bakugou hears students from the General
Education course disparage Class 1-A, thinking they’re trying to be overly
considerate even though they’re seen as the clear source of the conflicts,
including the Villain attacks and the new dorm system to keep students safe. He’s
clearly frustrated at this, not liking when people diss his class, but possibly
also not liking something about the idea itself
Jirou and the others are discussing
what kind of music to play, but since they intend to use instruments, Jirou
thinks that they’ll have a more difficult time without someone who has expertise
in the drums versus other instruments she’s better at, like guitar.
But Kaminari brings up that Bakugou
was forced to go to music classes, to everyone’s shock. He’s surprisingly good
at the drums, but he rejects the offer, saying he doesn’t want to do this
performance
Jirou begs him, saying he should try
to be nice to his fellow classmates. But Bakugou retorts that this just seems
like self satisfaction, to seem nice to everyone rather than doing stuff
because they genuinely want to.
His motivation is more selfish in
nature, even bringing up how they don’t fight the Villains because they want to
get hurt. But in this situation, Bakugou decides that he’ll do this because he
wants to show his talent rather than pleasing others that blame him for the
situation UA’s in
Jirou is galvanized by Bakugou’s
speech, wanting to do her best as well with the hobby she was lacking
confidence in
The chapter concludes as we learn
that Gentle intends to attack the cultural festival, showing that he can get
past even UA’s advanced security and show up the Villain Alliance
One Piece 895
We see Luffy’s Snake Man form as
Katakuri comments he does look different from Bound Man.
Luffy says he’s much faster, Katakuri
dodging his first blow, but struck from the side by another
We see that Luffy’s attacks are
snaking around, the stretching much faster as Luffy hits Katakuri, though he
does block some of the force.
As Luffy rushes to strike again,
Katakuri uses Diced Mochi, making his arm sprout spikes, Luffy getting stuck in
them as Katakuri slams him into the ground
Luffy and Katakuri continue to pound
each other in the face, both refusing to give up.
Black Mamba, another new technique
of Snake Man, is let loose, a rush of attacks going at Katakuri who manages to
dodge them
The chapter ends as the two clash,
Katakuri using Diced Mochi again, while Luffy readies King Cobra
One Piece is on break next week
Seven
Deadly Sins 254
Zeldris returns, unable to acquire the Faith
Commandment from Merlin. He also tells Meliodas that the Four Archangels have
come back and allied with the Seven Deadly Sins.
But Meliodas isn’t worried, saying that once they
gather the Commandments and he becomes Demon King, they won’t stand a chance
Estarossa, meanwhile, finds Galand’s petrified body,
smashing it to pieces and chanting an incantation to get the Truth Commandment
Arthur is trying to get to the castle, but seems to
be delayed by a magic of some sort, the cat attached to him disappearing.
We see Peronia, using Marchen Maze to keep Arthur
away from the castle and Excalibur
But she’s approached by the cat, seemingly called
Cath, and Arthur manages to get into the castle, Cath meeting back up with him
as we see what may be pieces of Peronia, still alive, but weakened by Cath’s
attack
Zeldris appears before Arthur, saying he’s not
authorized to be here and that his Commandment didn’t react to him, Arthur
panicking as Cusack appears behind him.
Cath uses telekinesis to keep the two occupied as
Arthur runs ahead to where Excalibur is.
He arrives in the chamber, but before he can grasp
the sword, he’s attacked from behind, Cusack and Zeldris holding Cath’s beaten
up body.
Meliodas appears as well, Arthur infuriated at his
betrayal of everyone, even Arthur’s own admiration for the Sin of Wrath. The
king remembers how Meliodas told him that he shouldn’t be concerned with what
others think of him, but how he can help others instead.
The chapter ends as Arthur pulls out Excalibur,
ready to fight Meliodas.
