Dr. Stone 25

Gen is still in disbelief that Senkuu’s working towards use of electricity in this stone age. Meanwhile, Kinrou is frustrated at the loss of his gold lance, even hitting Ginrou when he taunts him.

Kohaku is confused, unable to make the powerful magnets touch, Senkuu pointing out that she’s got the poles mixed up, showing that they indeed stick together and stronger than before.

With this, they can start to make electricity, Gen wondering how they’ll do it. Senkuu says it’ll be man powered, Gen reluctantly accepting that such a thing is the only option now.

The next step is to cut out a disc of copper and use corundum to do so, the second hardest mineral besides diamond. They cut out 2 discs, Senkuu’s face puffed up because he’s allergic to the lacquer they’re using to coat the copper for insulation.

Chrome and Kohaku note that they’ll need two people to spin the discs in perfect sync or the dual sided generator will break.

Senkuu and Gen look at Kinrou and Ginrou, Gen building up the appeal of electricity more by saying they could even make and repair gold and silver lances, though Senkuu says such a process is more complex than he realizes.

The brothers are convinced by this, working hard at spinning the copper discs. Gen wonders what they’ll do with the electricity, Senkuu showing a bamboo fiber he made.

He connects wires to the fiber, which lights up, to Gen’s amazement. Gen even notes that it’s like Edison’s light bulb.

Senkuu explains to Chrome that with this invention, the night is no longer scary, though it’s noted that the brightness they see is limited, but still an amazing feat in the primitive time.

Gen is impressed at how they’ve progressed, Senkuu noting that Edison’s biography was the first he read when he started getting into science.

The essential nature of electricity being one of the four basic forces in the universe, electromagnetism makes Senkuu even more motivated to study and increase his knowledge.

We see that this is one of the biggest achievements to date in the Stone World, after over a year of work, they’ve finally gotten to this stage, the chapter ending as Senkuu is smiling brightly.

We Can’t Study 28

Yuiga’s mom is sick, so he volunteers to help at her job while she recovers. Turns out she works at a lingerie shop, which he thinks might be weird for him as a young man. The employee says it’s okay, since mostly older women shop here anyway and even puts him in the mall’s mascot outfit, Hanako Woofball, to make it so he doesn’t feel as awkward.

But the main employee has to leave to take care of her sick daughter, Yuiga now the only one there.

Rizu and Uruka are also in the mall, looking for a shop that has cute bras in a size more fitting for Rizu. Takemoto calls out to Yuiga in the mascot outfit to ask him to help her check Rizu’s cup size.

Yuiga finds he can’t take off the suit, Uruka thinking he’s nervous because he’s new there. She offers to help instead, Yuiga more flustered at the situation of learning his friend’s measurements even though he’s just holding the measuring tape steady at her back

Uruka then asks about which style of bra Yuiga recommends, still not aware that it’s him. She wonders if the sexy or pure style would be more appealing, even asking a hypothetical of which one a high school boy would like. Yuiga points to the pure one, letting them leave awkwardly as he contemplates that he was biased in thinking of a way to make her seem less open to her crush.

But soon after, Kirisu asks Yuiga for help, her bra strap stuck. He hesitates at first, Kirisu worried she might have damaged the bra. But it comes off, Yuiga trying to avoid seeing Kirisu’s naked chest

After a while, Fumino comes in, wanting to be by herself when she tries on underwear instead of going when Rizu and Uruka invited her. She asks Yuiga for a few bras in an A cup and then decides to ask for a B cup and C cup as well, hoping she might be growing, which she isn’t, to her dismay.

The main employee comes back, thanking Yuiga for minding the shop and helping him get off his mascot outfit. Fumino happens to see this, Yuiga explaining the situation afterwards.

She says it’s a good thing only she saw it, letting Yuiga figure out why Rizu and Uruka should never discover this as another homework assignment for the female psychology as the chapter ends with Yuiga buying her ice cream.

Black Clover 123

We begin as “Zechs” is still angry at Asta for destroying his traps, Asta responding that this means he should make a plan for them, since he’s clearly the smartest out of the group. “Zechs” tells him he should just use that ability again, but Asta explains that he needs to rest after using it like that.

Asta emphasizes they need to have teamwork here, willing to use the traps, just that “Zechs” should cooperate with them. He says the goal of the Royal Knights Exam is to find the best people to fight against the Eye of the Midnight Sun, Asta wanting to fight with strong people to defeat other strong people.

“Zechs” remembers someone close to him talking about how the Magic Knights indeed have to rely on others to fight at their best and not be afraid, referring to him as his apparent real name, Zora. He then agrees that he’ll help, but not to have a friendly match, instead for his own objectives, Asta accepting this.

Zora explains that he can use traps, but he needs a lot of time to prepare something like what he used in the last match.

The traps he can use now are binding traps, pitfalls and traps that unleash an attack magic upon contact. He asks them which ones they want to use, warning them that they’ll disappear once they’re triggered once and will take time to put together, which they don’t have much of

Meanwhile Magna is impressed at Asta’s development, revealing he’s a commoner to Kirsch, who decides to go ahead, telling him and Sol to guard the crystal, since he doesn’t want to be tainted by Magna’s commoner mana.

Kirsch senses Zora and Mimosa’s magic, still confused that he can’t sense any from Asta.

Asta tries to attack him, Kirsch countering with a burst of cherry blossoms that Asta can’t push past, retreating to an outcropping, which Kirsch interprets to mean they’re trying to lure him into a trap

He uses Magic Clones to destroy the traps, mocking Asta, since he’s now trapped and can’t fight back.

But he falls into a pitfall, Zora explaining that they dug that one out, tricking him into thinking all they had were magical traps at their disposal.

Kirsch moves to get out, but Asta leaps down the hole, ready to finish him off. The Cherry Blossom magic is blocked by the antimagic sword, Kirsch finally realizing this as the chapter ends with Asta beating him down.

Boku no Hero Academia 151

Overhaul tells Eri to come over, that she’ll be responsible if Mirio dies, even suggesting that her very nature is destruction and that anything which connects back to her is sure to die.

Mirio protests that Chisaki would say that about his own daughter, but Chisaki confirms that Eri isn’t his daughter, the story just a façade.

Chisaki then uses his Quirk to disassemble the ground below him and then reassemble it at rapid speed to attack Mirio with spikes, Lemillion narrowly dodging with his Quirk.

Overhaul then tells Mirio that he can afford to hurt Eri, since he can reassemble her, Eri knowing this first hand. Mirio, on the other hand is unable to phase out of here with Eri in tow, so the only option would seem to be fighting the yakuza boss.

Chronostasis threatens to shoot Mirio with the Quirk cancelling bullet, but hesitates since he knows that Mirio has great control over his Quirk, so one missed shot means he can counterattack.

Mirio uses the opportunity to cover his body with the cape so Chronostasis’ aim is affected, missing him. He uses the cape to wrap Eri up, even comparing it to a sort of protective comfort for those threatened by villains, which is why Heroes wear them according to Mirio

This lets Mirio phase through the ground and knock the gun out of Chronostasis’s hand and then punch Overhaul. Chronostasis moves to get the gun, but is pushed back by Mirio, who says he’ll defeat them both

We see Chisaki when he met the former boss of the Eight Precepts of Death and how he still insisted they need reforms to continue to exist. But the boss says they can’t stray from a moral path or they lose the heart of the yakuza

Nemoto, in spite of being beaten handily by Mirio, hasn’t lost consciousness and crawls to help Chisaki, the one person he feels he can trust with how his Quirk made people reluctant to speak to him.

The chapter ends as Chisaki throws a case of the anti Quirk bullets, telling Nemoto to shoot Mirio

Magi 361

Alibaba, staking everything on his next attack using the Extreme Magic from Amon’s Metal Vessel shocks everyone, especially Kougyoku.

As he moves to attack them, they’re ready to take it. But he strikes at the black rukh magic circle, protecting them from the follow up attacks in spite of how much it’s clearly draining his stamina

Kougyoku and the others are stunned at him fighting the messengers of the rukh rather than them, since it’s just pushing him closer to death. Kougyoku even wonders what he’s really fighting for, thinking he’s not yet lost his sanity

She then recalls when she moved to protect Kouha in spite of the risk it posed to her. This then reminds her and others about their loyalty to the Kou Empire and how it motivated them, others thinking of how their devotion to the Reim Empire similarly was something that made them fight to the end.

Alibaba pleads with them to think for themselves rather than just accept the reasoning that destiny has forced upon them.

The chapter ends as David says it’s futile to fight against destiny, not something so simple as he keeps beating back Sinbad.

One Piece 878

Chopper and Brook are faltering against the onslaught of Perospero’s assault with the Chess Soldiers. The Candy Man threatens to kill Chopper by invading his body with the candy he can secrete, turning him fully into a sweet treat for him to lick away. The timer starts as Perospero says they underestimated him, thinking he was going to let them go after they refused his offer to escape on their own

But Katakuri notices something from the woods, Big Mom chasing the Straw Hats as they escape, figuring out that it was their soldiers that were defeated by the giant blast from Zeus before.

We see that Brook is also becoming candy-fied by Perospero, Katakuri telling the Chess Soldiers to retreat or they’ll be beaten by Luffy.

Perospero makes a Candy Maiden, its spikes threatening any who attack it. But Luffy ignores this, using Gum Gum Red Hawk to ignite his attack with fire and blast through the Candy Maiden

Katakuri clashes with Luffy, Carrot noticing how similar their stretchiness is.

Jinbe tells Luffy to get Katakuri off the ship and that they’ll get it out to sea somehow. Luffy pummels Katakuri with Jet Gatling.

Pedro tells Carrot that he truly believes that Luffy’s crew is the group that the Kouzuki Clan and the Kingdom of Zou have waited centuries for, those who will bring a new dawn to the world.

Perospero tells Mont D’or to summon more warships, Jinbe noticing this as he and Nami are trying to use Coup De Burst to escape with that special function rather than trying to get out to sea otherwise.

Luffy is knocked back by Katakuri’s attacks, but they find that the ship can’t even leave, Perospero having used Candy Web to trap it.

Pedro attacks Perospero, who taunts him, saying his bounty is 700 Million Berries. But Pedro then reveals he has explosives in his clothes, setting them off in a suicide attack to take out the Candy Man. The chapter ends as Carrot cries out for her comrade’s sacrifice, willing to do this so Luffy’s group can escape.

Seven Deadly Sins 231-232

Escanor is happy in spite of Meliodas being irritated by him, since the Sin of Pride thinks now is the best time to show how much stronger he is in the Perfect Cube’s impenetrable walls.

He swings down Rhitta, Meliodas blocking with Lostvayne, the demon thinking a human could never hope to defeat him.

Escanor continues to smash down, Meliodas eventually dodging and counterattacking by kicking him in the face and then spinning around with his sword like a whirlwind.

As the Lion’s Sin tries to counter back, Meliodas swiftly dodges, stabbing him through the stomach. Escanor tries to grab his head but Meliodas just unleashes his hellish energy into Escanor’s wound

Elizabeth tells Merlin to drop Perfect Cube, saying she’ll try something, but Merlin tells her that Meliodas is too dangerous now to be released. She also observes that it’s nearly high noon

We see that Escanor has bulked up even more, his wound healing rapidly as he compliments Meliodas, saying he’s strong, but not as strong as he is.

He attacks with Super Slash as Hawk notes that Escanor’s power level is now at 114,000, likely his maximum power now.

But Meliodas simply punches Escanor in the gut, knocking him down again as the chapter ends with him saying the only thing that’s changed is Escanor’s attitude

The next chapter begins as the others comment that Meliodas is just toying with Escanor, Merlin saying this is Meliodas as he was when he was renowned as the leader of the Ten Commandments

Escanor continues to attack, Meliodas dodging easily. He then unleashes Cruel Sun, Meliodas merely using Full Counter, which Escanor dodges the backlash from

The explosion is blinding, creating a smokescreen which Meliodas uses to knock Rhitta out of Escanor’s hands, slashing him in the side.

Meanwhile, there’s a voice speaking about the time coming soon, which the others outside the Perfect Cube are confused at.

Escanor seems to regard Lostvayne’s attack as a scratch, ripping the Sacred Treasure from his side and tossing it away, pummeling Meliodas mercilessly.

But Meliodas still punches him down with one blow, impressed that a human has withstood his attacks for this long.

Merlin and the others wonder what they can do, the Boar’s Sin thinking they have one chance, which is when Escanor becomes his most powerful in the minute of high noon, seemingly invincible, and merely called “The One”.

The form Escanor has now is even greater in size and muscles, Meliodas trying to finish him off with a flurry of slices

But this barely fazes Escanor, who uses a slash just using his hand, calling it Divine Sword Escanor. This makes a massive wound in Meliodas’ chest, which frustrates the demon.

The chapter ends as Escanor taunts Meliodas, asking him what it feels like to be looked down on by a human
