One Piece is on break this week

Dr. Stone 6

Taiju and Yuzuriha are both willing to fight against Tsukasa, Senkuu wanting to explain why he thinks they should run from Tsukasa, a murderer.

But before they can initiate a plan, Tsukasa arrives, saying that he isn’t just killing for its own sake, but to thin out the population.

Senkuu isn’t surprised that Tsukasa would just admit his killing in front of the others, since he thinks they can’t oppose him.

Taiju rushes at Tsukasa, telling Senkuu to protect Yuzuriha.

Senkuu thinks his friend’s crazy to go up against someone that knocked out a lion with a single punch. He has no other choice than to utilize his trump card, a crossbow, thinking if he can at least land the arrow near them, he could stop the fighting.

Tsukasa is so skilled, however, he snatches the arrow out of the air, stopping it almost instantly.

Taiju takes Tsukasa’s kick to the head, impressing the athlete that he’s still standing, as well as that he had no intent to fight.

In exchange for Tsukasa stopping his murdering of the stone people, Taiju offers to allow Tsukasa to continue hitting him, not offering any resistance

But Tsukasa doesn’t think that really makes sense, bringing up that Taiju might change his tone if he threatened to attack Yuzuriha.

Yuzuriha realizes that she’s going to be made a hostage, which is why Senkuu told her and Taiju to leave earlier.

Taiju faints from the blow, blood coming from his head, though he’s seemingly just unconscious

But surprisingly, Tsukasa decides to leave them, seemingly changed by Taiju’s willingness to protect others, but not unwilling to stop his plan of thinning the population

Senkuu thinks there’s only one way to stop Tsukasa now, and that would be to create gunpowder.

The chapter ends as Taiju wakes up, apparently just putting on an act to make Tsukasa leave, the group ready to advance civilization again with discovering gunpowder

We Can’t Study 9

Furuhashi is delighted that she’s solved a math problem with such ease, but already shows signs she might be ill. She studies late into the night, which likely made it worse the next day

Yuiga says they should see if they can delay the test, but Fumino says that’ll just take 20% of the total off if she does that, so she won’t be able to make the average.

They decide to nurse her back to health before tomorrow, Yuiga going after Takemoto with various food and drink given by Ogata, who has to work.

Her house is quite large, suggesting she’s rich, Yuiga a bit intimidated at first.

Going inside, he knocks and then enters the room, not heeding Takemoto’s warning and seeing her wiping sweat off of Fumino’s back, exposed to him, which is embarrassing.

Yuiga leaves, Takemoto eventually coming out to say he can come back, but notes how he’s a guy and he’d want to see something like that, drifting off from that thought as he goes into Fumino’s room

She’s embarrassed to be seen in her pajamas, her hair not even done properly as she hides herself under the covers.

Takemoto goes into the kitchen to make some rice porridge and such to help Fumino get better. Yuiga is impressed at her cooking skills, the dishes actually tasting quite good.

He even makes a comment about her looking like a wife, which makes Takemoto imagine her and Nariyuki married, embarrassed at what she’s thinking.

After eating the porridge, Fumino is resting, Yuiga commenting that she’s improved a lot, solving most of the upcoming test’s problems.

We flashback to him teaching Furuhashi, suggesting she can approach math by thinking about the symbols as words rather than thinking about the formulae. This allows her to understand things better and progress somewhat past her fear of math.

She’s so happy, but Yuiga brings up that her sweating has made her top see through, revealing her bra to him, which makes her embarrassed as well.

The headmaster is impressed at Fumino and Ogata doing better on their exams, but Narisu is still skeptical of Yuiga’s teaching methods.

The chapter ends as everyone’s at a drink bar, but Yuiga has caught Fumino’s cold, sick at home the next day

Black Clover 105

Asta and Yami are unable to get any closer, while Charlotte and Vanessa are too drunk to even get up

The Wizard King himself appears, saying that with all the conflict recently, more than ever the people need to praise those who are willing to protect the Clover Kingdom from the Spade and Diamond Kingdoms’ attacks.

7 of the 9 Magic Knight captains appear, the new Crimson Lion captain a woman and the new Violet/Purple Orca a man with a prominent mustache.

Julius is surprised that Charlotte is late, though not so much about Yami

The award ceremony starts, the Golden Dawn breaking their previous record of 96 stars with an immense 125 stars this year.

And Yuno receives an award for his contributions to that star total, seen as the next promising member of the Golden Dawn.

To everyone’s shock, the Black Bulls are in second place with 101 stars, many seemingly connected to defeating the Eye of the Midnight Sun members as well as fighting against the Diamond Kingdom forces.

People think there must be a mistake, but people support them, including Rebecca, vouching for them being good hearted in spite of their rough methods.

The Wizard King equally praises them, saying that they climbed the ranks magnificently from negative 50 stars

He asks for the newest member who contributed to the Black Bulls’ rise to prominence, but the crowds are such that they can’t find him easily.

Yami, however, with Asta right near him, picks up the short Magic Knight and throws him at the stage, the chapter ending as Asta and Yuno finally speak after not having met since the Diamond Kingdom’s invasion.

Boku no Hero Academia 133

Suneater finds that he can’t activate his Quirk as Kirishima goes after the Villain, even though Fatgum tells him not to rush ahead.

Kirishima corners his opponent, saying he shouldn’t just leave like a coward after he attacked. In spite of the gunner trying to take down Kirishima, Red Riot easily takes him down with a punch.

The criminal cries, frustrated with his inferior Quirk and thinking he could become stronger by associating with other powerful people. But Kirishima, picking him up to apprehend him, says he understands, but that he’s still in the wrong

Suddenly, the shooter injects himself with something (likely the drug Trigger from My Hero Academia Vigilantes), his Quirk much more powerful and dangerous now.

As the rest of the smugglers of illegal drugs are rounded up, Suneater is worried about what will happen.

Kirishima can’t get close to the villain, his Quirk of blades from his arms much sharper than before as he threatens people in the area. The smuggler taunts him, saying that his boss plans to take down this new age of Heroes, likely referring to Overhaul

We flashback to Kirishima talking with Bakugou and some others about All Might’s advice on how to improve his Quirk in some way, but he can’t think of anything.

Bakugou says that his unshakeable will is what makes him strong and he should use that.

In the present, Kirishima increases his Quirk’s toughness, breaking the blades as the chapter ends with us seeing his new form he achieved from training, Red Riot Unbreakable.

Magi 341

Alibaba and Aladdin are confused at 2 Djinn Equips of Zepar as well as one of them being the princess of Parthevia.

As they decide they should team up, Arba teleports Alibaba to the next dungeon, leaving Aladdin alone to face the two Zepar users, since Sinbad says he doesn’t want their connection as King and Magi to give them an unfair advantage.

Sinbad even comments that he doesn’t like that system, both he and Serendine attacking Aladdin, who manages to counter with Strength Magic to oppose their Sound Magic.

Their teamwork allows them to get an attack in on Aladdin, reiterating their question of whether people should live by their own will or that of others, the riddle of Zepar’s dungeon, that of the convictions of souls and puppetry.

Sinbad says he knows what Aladdin’s answer will be, that people should live by their own wills.

Aladdin affirms this, saying he learned it in Magnostadt. Sinbad replies that he learned something there as well in the past: that you shouldn’t devote yourself wholly to one person, because no one is completely right.

But Sinbad insists that Aladdin has already entrusted himself to Solomon’s system and thus is a puppet of him and Ugo

This makes Aladdin a contradiction in Sinbad’s eyes, saying that people should live by their own will, but he’s just following the guidance of others.

Aladdin fully admits that he’s influenced by others; that his way of thinking changed as he met people. This only seems to make Sinbad confident that his argument is sound

But Aladdin argues that he wasn’t influenced by one single person, that everyone he met supported his growth and gave him a push towards that. Before he came to this world, he was only interacting with Ugo, who was like a robot. So Aladdin finding people with their own will sparked his own will and started him down a path of becoming his own person

Aladdin is concerned that Sinbad, when he becomes God, will be wholly alone and will have no real input from others, becoming lonely.

Sinbad retorts by smiling, saying that Aladdin is kind for worrying about him, but he thinks he’s above that, especially since he has David and Arba to keep him company.

But Aladdin wonders if this means Sinbad has abandoned his previous bonds, Sinbad not answering.

The chapter ends as Sinbad says he’ll explain how things will change when he influences the Rukh completely, how people will change, how the world will change

Seven Deadly Sins 212

Gowther explains how the Comandment of Selflessness stole his freedom away, so he created the doll version of Gowther to allow him to interact with the outside world. But now that has reached its end and he wants to say goodbye

King and Diane are confused at the true Gowther’s reveal, both Gowthers affirming this, the Demon Gowther shutting off his connection to the doll temporarily. But it still functioned as his body, so it was like him in a way.

Before he explains further, King demands to know why they were being delayed from getting to the tower, Gowther saying that the humans intended to rebel against Stigma, infiltrating the group and using the Demons as an aid to take out the other clans.

King accuses him to of just using the humans so he could get out of prison, but Gowther insists that his overall goal was ending the Holy War.

The Fairy King says they have to go, but Diane wants to talk to Gowther further, saying she’ll follow King as soon as she’s done.

Gowther asks Diane if she and King are lovers, thinking their bond is such that they aren’t affected by his Commandment because they are so selfless and only seek what benefits each other rather than themselves. Diane is embarrassed at the thought, but focuses and asks Gowther if he really can end this war.

He thinks it is so, asking Diane if the Holy War is over in the future, Diane confirming it is so. This makes Gowther happy that his death won’t be in vain.

The doll Gowther auto awakens, Demon Gowther telling him that he needs to live on his own, admitting that the doll’s emotional maturity is still underdeveloped, even if his intelligence is the same, suggesting they’ve been synchronizing in some way, Demon Gowther’s mind part of the doll’s mind now.

But this makes the doll sad that he’s being left behind, crying in this sadness.

Demon Gowther explains that he’s not an ordinary doll, saying that the heart inside him has been infused with his essence, though it also seems like the doll may be its own self rather than Gowther’s.

He tells the doll that he will eventually lose his memories in the future and he asks Diane to be the doll’s friend and guide him should he become wayward.

Demon Gowther hesitates to ask such a task, but the doll pleads that Diane guide him in the future. Diane agrees, shaking Gowther’s hand, albeit a bit roughly with Dolor’s strength.

In thanks for Diane’s kindness, Demon Gowther grants a gift to her, though we don’t know quite what it is as we shift to King

Gloxinia/King is worried about Gerharde, frustrated that he’s always too late and that Rou would betray them.

He wonders if the trial Gloxinia put upon him was to protect Gerharde. But if she’s alive in the future, he wonders what’s going on now.

As King arrives, he’s in shock to see that Rou has already killed Gerharde, holding her bloody corpse in his arms as the chapter ends.

Fairy Tail 529

As Christina heads out Ichiya says he will explain things.

Jenny, who’s piloting the ship, encounters some turbulence, making Erza accidentally fall onto Jellal

The mysterious woman explains that the ship is fine for Dragonslayers to ride on, Wendy taking a breath and feeling fine, but shocked at who is talking to her.

Christina is equipped with the Jupiter magic cannon, firing it at Acnologia, who just eats it to their shock. They fire live rounds at him instead, Acnologia dodging and increasing speed.

Blue Pegasus activates the magic boosters, causing Jellal to fall into Erza’s bust, both of them embarrassed again.

Wendy recognizes the woman as Anna, Lucy’s ancestor, who was also present when Wendy, Natsu, Gajeel, Sting and Rogue were all transported from the past to the present time.

In response to the question of whether they could defeat Acnologia, she asks for patience, since there’s a procedure they have to follow

Anna explains that she was the one who taught Wendy and the other Dragon Slayers from 400 years ago about reading, writing and such, coming through the Eclipse Gate as well.

Meanwhile, Lucy is still saddened at the prospect of Natsu dying, his essence being contained in the Book of END

Natsu continues to fight Zeref, who becomes more deranged at the prospect of them both dying in this fight

But Natsu doesn’t care, not even acknowledging his identity as END, affirming that he is Natsu in the end.

Anna explains that their plan was to use the young Dragon Slayers, sending them to a future with much more magic power to have a chance at stopping Acnologia. Zeref constructed the Eclipse Gate and Anna opened it, Zeref giving up on his goals of going to the past.

Lucy’s mother, Layla, opened the gate in the present and Anna was going to explain things to her, but everyone was separated, 5 years passing before they could find the children. Anna decided that they would wait to explain things to them, letting events pass normally

She was especially concerned with something that had come into existence after the Eclipse Gate incident, something that she thinks might enable them to seal Acnologia in the rifts of time itself, the chapter ending on this revelation
