We should be back to a normal schedule
now, since the last one covered roughly 2 weeks of manga from the various
magazines (Shounen Jump, Sunday and Magazine, though the latter 2 only have
Magi and Fairy Tail so far until Seven Deadly Sins returns, which should be
soon)
Magi's been delayed, so we might have 2 chapters next week for catch up, depending on scanlator schedules and such
Black Clover 92
Ladros falls, Fanzel noting that his
magic’s disappeared, seemingly defeated
Asta’s still in disbelief at Mars
supposedly being an ally, but Fanzel vouches for him.
Mars notices the flames of
Salamander and then the ones from Fana, who he sees, Fana possibly also
recognizing Mars from her childhood.
We see a flashback of Mars and Fana
speaking about how they can continue their harsh training because they fight to
protect people they love, which are each other as orphans. Fana’s death still
haunts Mars, his brainwashing by the magic scholar Morris broken by Asta’s
antimagic sword in their first fight.
Afterwards, Mars decided to try to
help people and has now made the choice to fully leave the Diamond Kingdom.
Mars tries to talk to Fana, Asta holding
him back, still confused as to why he’s suddenly become such a kind person.
But Fana doesn’t seem to recognize
him, Fanzel speculating that the eye on her forehead is magic that’s affecting
her memory somehow. Fana notices her head hurts, not able to recall things.
She unleashes a massive blast of
magic, threatening to burn everything around her to ashes.
Asta moves to stop it, but Mars
takes the brunt of the attack, Fanzel saying he shouldn’t hurt himself so.
Mars insists that he has no right to
fight her, blaming himself for her death.
Asta wonders if that’s really his
childhood friend, Mars insistent that he wouldn’t forget someone so important
to him. Asta, remembering his bond with Yuno, agrees to help, saying that they
should try to get her back to sanity.
The chapter ends as everyone plans
to act together, Noelle thinking that this time, they won’t suffer like they
did against Vett, ready to face off against Fana and defeat her.
Boku no Hero Academia 121
Bakugou is told about the secrets
behind One For All and All For One’s powers, thinking that now he is more
motivated to become as strong as All Might.
Deku is also resolved to surpass his
rival, both of them supporting each other in their competition to become the #1
Hero.
Aizawa is furious at the situation,
All Might explaining that it was ultimately their fault for not recognizing the
problems their students had, Bakugou in particular
But Aizawa nonetheless punishes the
two by putting them both under house arrest and cleaning duties.
The others leave them to their
punishment, happy that they at least seem to have made up, though they’re
hoping they learn from this.
Bakugou tells Deku about how there
are still some weaknesses to his Shoot Style and how it’s not suited for the
fight they had, which was part of why Deku lost.
On their way to the entrance
ceremony, Class A is approached by Monoma, who gloats that Class B all passed
while Class A had 2 fail.
Tsunotori, a person with a Horn type
Quirk, saying that they’ll be in a class together in the second semester. She’s
also told that she should be excited to beat them by Monoma, since her being a
foreigner means she’s not as good at Japanese. Shinsou is also seen as Class A
enters the school building, observed to be much tougher looking than before
The principal gives advice about
hair care before getting serious and mentioning how the recent incident with
All Might retiring has changed the climate.
But he’s confident and says that he
will trust the students with the future of the Hero world.
The chapter ends as all Might
remembers when he was hired as a teacher, Nedzu saying that surely there would
be someone who could be his successor.
One Piece 851
Pudding continues to gloat at the
prospect of the Vinsmokes being killed, but says they should try not to get
blood on the wedding cake, or Big Mom will be furious. She fires a bullet
coated in candy (probably from Perospero’s Devil Fruit), able to pierce armor
plating, which was demonstrated before when she shot Reiju offpanel, who
supposedly was impenetrable with the strength she gained from Judge’s genetic
manipulation of her and the other Vinsmoke siblings.
She also thinks of how satisfying
it’ll be to see Sanji’s face when she betrays him, wondering what it might be
like, doing some impressions of what she thinks might appear. And Pudding
further mocks Sanji by noting how cheesy he was, with his face beaten up and
proposing that they get married after Pudding said she wanted to make the
marriage bearable.
Sanji continues to hear her insults,
crying at the situation and how things have turned out.
Meanwhile, Brook is still fighting
Big Mom, who wonders why he persists. Brook explains that, even if Sanji
decided to never come back, the Straw Hats would accept that, the major goal
for Luffy now to get the Road Poneglyph. And Brook is willing to fight to the
end in order to achieve that for his captain.
Chopper’s group manages to find out
that they can talk to the mirrors from Brulee instead of asking her directly,
slowly getting an idea of where they should go, though Carrot still needs to
draw some images of their friends so the mirrors will recognize them.
Back with Pudding, she moves to
alter Reiju’s memories with her Memo Memo Fruit, able to pull a roll of film
from her memory and edit it as she sees fit. She calls for a medic to help
Reiju.
Luffy and Nami are still imprisoned,
Luffy continuing to stretch his arms.
Opera is planning to torture Lola’s
location out of Nami, but before he can start, Jinbe appears and smashes Opera
with 5000 Tile Justice Fist, the chapter ending as he moves to free Luffy and
Nami.
Fairy Tail 516
Erza and Eileen both conclude that
they don’t recognize each other as family, clashing, but neither having a major
advantage, Eileen too tough and Erza not strong enough to deal serious damage.
But Eileen thinks that Erza can’t
hope to defeat her. Erza counters that she has family to give her strength,
Wendy attacking the Crimson Mage with Sky Dragon’s Wing Attack and Erza following it up with her own sword strike.
As the Wind Dragon Slayer calls out
Eileen for being so callous to her daughter, Eileen notes that the Dragon Seed
exists in the Dragon Slayers as well.
But Wendy responds that theirs have
been suppressed by their adoptive Dragon parents.
We see Natsu being told of how the
Dragon Seed’s power is slowly awakening in him, or more precisely, it’s fusing
with the other seed in his body, the Demon Seed that is his Etherious powers
from Zeref. But that fusion is said to be what will kill him.
Eileen is impressed that the Dragons
knew of a way to stop the progress of the Dragon Seed’s awakening, but is furious
that she was unaware of it, hating her body that still holds the senses and
powers of a dragon even with the human appearance.
Erza is enchanted by Wendy with a
powerful spell, which enhances all her abilities. Eileen tries to counter, but
Wendy, with her own expertise in enchantment magic, is able to nullify her
attempt at dispelling.
After Eileen is struck with Erza’s
power, actually wounded for once, she tells her she’s had a revelation
regarding enchantment.
It’s not that she couldn’t do it to
Erza because they were related by blood or because the idea of enchanting
oneself onto another person’s body was impossible, but compatibility with the
host.
The chapter ends as we learn that
Eileen has enchanted herself onto Wendy’s body, because her being a Dragon
Slayer and an enchantress makes her the perfect candidate, Eileen ready to
fight anew now.
