Black Clover 94

Mars thanks Asta for helping him, though Asta says he had Mars’ help as well.

Fana wonders if this is Mars’ friend, Asta confirming it in spite of Mars’ reluctance and their previous fight.

Asta is chastised again by Noelle, Finral and Vanessa for being so reckless.

Fanzel praises Mars and Fana greets her old master, who is so happy both his students are alive and together.

Fana notes that she doesn’t’ remember much. After the trial with Mars, she came back to life, but was eventually abandoned by Morris because she didn’t meet his expectations of increasing her magic power. She was then taken in by Licht, who apparently used forbidden magic on her, which affected her memories, Fana commenting that it was like she was taken over by someone else’s hatred.

Mars is so happy that they’re together, Fana also vowing that they’ll stay by each others’ side, Finral so jealous he’s crying blood and Noelle slapping Asta out of jealousy for that close relationship.

In response to the question of why she came here, Fana says she remembers she was here to get a Magic Stone.

The group moves to head back to the Witch Queen and ask about this, though Fanzel is still worried about Domina and Mariele.

But something unexpected occurs, Ladros still alive after absorbing Fana’s Salamander Magic and unleashing a barrage of lasers again. It took him longer than usual to recover, but he managed to trick Fanzel into thinking he was out of magic power by releasing it at the moment he was seemingly defeated.

Mars has shielded Fana from the initial assault, Ladros shooting a beam at him to finish the Flame Stone Mage off, which Asta knocks away.

Ladros asks why Asta would even help someone who he has nothing to do with, the chapter ending as Asta says that Mars is his friend and that’s all that matters.

Boku no Hero Academia 123

Everyone’s impressed at the Big Three, Deku remembering the one from before as someone who didn’t perform very well in last year’s Sports Festival

Aizawa asks them to do self introductions, starting with Amajiki, who seems intimidating, but also has significant stage fright, unable to talk effectively.

Hadou, the lone girl in the trio, explains that he’s naturally a bit cowardly. She shows how socially intrusive she is, asking questions to Shouji and Todoroki regarding their faces.  The others observe that she’s naturally curious about all of them, such as whether Asui’s a tree frog or a toad and if Ojiro can support his whole body with the tail that’s his Quirk.

The third student, Mirio, tries to change the mood, but falls flat as well, his introduction involving the students responding to something that only he had the plan for in his head.

He then explains that since the first years have their provisional licenses, he thinks they should have a match against him as a team, for a more direct experience. Aizawa accepts, the group moving to the Gamma Gym.

Amajiki says that Mirio’s being too unorthodox with his teaching, while Hadou continues to be intrusive, commenting on how Mirio almost gave up on being a Hero and had some issues in his past

Kirishima wonders if they’re just taking the first years too lightly in spite of their more practical experience, Mirio saying they should just come at him however they want.

Deku insists on being first, wanting to close the gap from the last 3 days and seeing how big of a chasm of power there is between him and the top of Yuuei’s class.

Mirio’s Quirk, which seems to involve phasing through things, activates and his shirt falls off, the #1 at Yuuei still not able to fine tune the power yet.

But as everyone else attacks, he still manages to defeat them, few left as in the space of 5 and a half seconds, he beat most of the class, Amajiki saying that his real strong point is his training under a certain Hero, not the Quirk itself. The chapter ends as we’re shown that he isn’t someone to be trifled with.

Seven Deadly Sins 202

We see Helbram trying to wake Diane and King, but Gloxinia says they won’t wake up until their trial is complete, also explaining that he can see the spirit because he was also the Fairy King.

Meanwhile, in the trial, Meliodas, Dolor and Gloxinia all combine their efforts to take down Karmadios, though Meliodas thinks they’re just retreating for now.

Gloxinia/King is worried about the other demons nearby, but Elizabeth has convinced them to leave by talking to them about how they don’t want this war to continue.

They’re approached by a human, who thanks them as members of Stigma, an alliance between the Fairies, Giants and Goddesses.

Elizabeth heals the wounded and tells the others they need to go back to base, the humans going as well.

King and Diane wonder if the trial is over with that battle, though with them still being here, the trial must still be ongoing. They think about what Gloxinia noted, that the trial was determining whether their choice was right or not, likely referring to their betrayal of Meliodas.

Everyone arrives at the base, which is located in the Fairy King’s Forest.

They’re approached by Nerobasta, the Goddess that possessed Denzel in the present, but someone even more powerful arrives, one of the four Archangels, Ryudoshel.

He tells them that the end to the war is in sight, Elizabeth thinking it must mean they can reach a peace with the Demons.

But Ryudoshel’s expression becomes monstrous as he says that they intend to eradicate the entire Demon Clan instead.

Magi 334

We begin with Nerva Julius Caluades (his full name) saying that he is an ally to Alibaba’s group, since he believes Reim should be the ones to dominate the world. Alibaba remembers that Nerva was, along with Hakuryuu and Takeruhiko, one of the major wanted criminals.

It’s also noted that Judal was allied with Nerva in the time that Alibaba was recovering with Yunan, so it’s more that Nerva was tricked by Judal and is angry about that.

Judal was unable to find any other Metal Vessel users, so Nerva was the next best thing. But when Nerva intended to return to Reim and try to raise an army, Judal left him in the dust to try and help Kou become a strong business with Alibaba.

This ultimately caused Nerva to be conscripted into slavery and curse destiny, making him fall into depravity like the others who have the Black Rukh.

In spite of Nerva not being strong enough to do Djinn Equip, unlike the other Reim Metal Vessel user, Aladdin says he can still aid them in keeping the gate stable.

Aladdin utilizes Solomon’s Wisdom, opening the gate as he says they could still turn back. Judal notes that he still doesn’t full agree with them, but Aladdin is fine with that, since they can’t expect everyone’s thinking to be the same, just part of how the world works.

Everyone resolves to change the world to a better place, using Djinn Equip as the chapter ends on them entering the gate into the world of the Rukh.

Fairy Tail 517

Eileen is still appraising her new body, Erza asking where Wendy went. Eileen’s old body crumples to the ground, the Scarlet Mage explaining that Wendy has basically disappeared

Erza tries to attack, but Wendy’s body still has sufficient power that Eileen is impressed with the potential she has, preparing to eliminate her daughter completely.

In spite of Erza telling Wendy to fight Eileen, the Dragon Slayer says that the young girl’s ego is completely gone and she is Wendy now.

Erza tries to attack, but holds back as Eileen comments that Erza couldn’t be expected to attack a friend.

Eileen attacks, planning to destroy Erza, but the explosion’s damage is reduced.

It’s revealed that Wendy managed to enchant herself onto Eileen’s body and enhanced Erza’s resistance to damage.

Wendy, having gained some skill with Eileen’s body and its magic, blasts her body, even attempting to pull Eileen’s soul out of her body.

Eileen slashes the Wind Dragon Slayer’s body, saying she won’t let things end without damaging her host’s body in the process, but Wendy says such scars are badges of honor to her.

Wendy, having returned to her body, faints, leaving things to Erza.

The chapter ends as Eileen has a deep expression of rage, ready to finish them both off for driving her to this state.
