Magi delayed this week, sadly
Boku no Hero Academia 74
The remedial students are taken by
Aizawa to where Monoma is being taught, since he apparently failed as well.
Before they can start, Mandalay
contacts them, explaining the situation with the Villains and telling them they
should not engage.
As Aizawa leaves, he’s attacked by
Dabi, trying to keep the pro Heroes occupied while they target the trainees.
Meanwhile, the two Villains who
attacked Pixie Bob introduce themselves as the strike team for the League of
Villains. One gives his name as Spinner, the one who will carry on Stain’s
legacy, pulling out a blade composed of various tiny ones.
Mandalay and Tiger resolve to hold
them off, Spinner revealing his Quirk may be reptilian in nature, the students
retreating.
Midoriya tells Mandalay he knows why
the Villains are here as we shift elsewhere.
Kendou is approached by Tetsutetsu
and Ibara, who got gas masks from Momo, giving some more to their friends as
they head to Class B’s safe zone.
But Tetsutetsu tells Kendou he’ll
stay behind to stop the Villains, since he thinks Class A is ahead of them
because of their experience and that they need to respond to danger like proper
Heroes.
Meanwhile, we see Kouta approached
by the Villain from before, who explains that he’s the newest there, so they’re
hazing him by making him wear a silly mask. Kouta tries to retreat, but the
Villain corners him.
The child realizes that this Villain
is the one who killed his parents by the scar he has on his left eye, panicking
at the revelation.
Deku leaps in to save Kouta,
narrowly dodging the Villain, whose Quirk is physical enhancement of his
strength.
His phone is destroyed, leaving him
alone to fight this enemy, the chapter ending as he resolves to keep Kouta safe
even if he has to fight on his own.
Seven Deadly Sins 157
The Meliodases continue to advance,
Elizabeth and Hawk thinking it might be the same creatures from the Forest of
White Dreams early in the series.
The monsters demand that they return
the forest to them, blaming the three for the state of their home.
Hawk tries to trick them by asking a
question only Meliodas would answer specifically for, but they instead answer
in a way that targets Hawk, wanting to eat him.
Diane can’t bring herself to attack
something with Meliodas’ form, but as the group starts to retreat, Gilthunder
and Hauser save them.
Even they are forgotten by Diane,
the pair explaining that the rest of their group has been separated by the
labyrinth’s magic, leaving only them together.
The monsters are speculated to be
the inhabitants of the area before the labyrinth came up, explaining why even
something normally peaceful could become violent.
Suddenly, Hauser is attacked by one
of the native beasts, a Sand Crawler. Before it can attack again, Hawk bites it
and even eats it, changing into its form, albeit his face is still present.
He explains that this is his power,
according to Merlin Anything he eats with magical power, he can absorb the
traits of it until he excretes in the form of poop or the like.
Gilthunder explains that what they
met was probably an infant form of the creature, the adult growing well over
100 feet sometimes and eating even dragons.
Hawk thinks their luck just got
worse, a giant mouth appearing behind Diane.
We see that there are other giant
Sand Crawlers like that one, devouring knights in the area.
The chapter ends as we see a
mysterious figure, someone we don’t know about, who’s also challenging the
labyrinth along with the Seven Deadly Sins and their allies
World Trigger 127
Yotaro tells Raijinmaru to seek out
Hyuse by the curry he ate recently. Jin thinks he has to follow the kid
directly, since it’s such a low probability future that could happen.
Meanwhile, Ninomiya’s group is
fighting the Idras, pushing them back so that the Snipers can eliminate them
with half their numbers while the others provide cover fire.
The others wonder why Ninomiya is
taking control, Kuruma wondering if age would be a better determinant for
leadership. Suwa, being the oldest there, goes to Ninomiya for advice, the
authority retreating back to him from the lower tier B rank agent with his
capabilities as the #1 Shooter and a former A Rank agent.
With their numbers, Ninomiya guides
them with tactics that’ll allow them to get to Miwa and Yoneya’s battle.
Yomi is contacted by Reghindetz,
saying they need more numbers, summoning more Dogs in response. He also takes
control of an Idras to give them support, since Gatlin’s group is almost at
their target.
Gatlin and Radarikov arrive,
preparing to fight Tachikawa’s group.
The #1 Attacker notes that Kinuta
arranged things so they can fight at their strongest, no concern for damaging
anything important.
Gatlin is confused, since they know
their target and have apparently analyzed their Triggers as well.
Kazama appears from camouflage with
his Chameleon Trigger, slicing off Gatlin’s arm.
The Neighbor decides to unveil his
new Trigger power, four bladelike arms appearing out of the device on his back.
Konami compares it to Reiji’s Full Arms. He also uses one of the spikes in the
device to place a gun on his stump where his arm used to be.
The chapter ends as they start
fighting proper, the threat larger with the unpredictability of Galopoula’s
Triggers.
Bleach 659
Toushirou and Gerard introduce
themselves as their battle begins. The Miracle strikes at where the Soul Reaper
would be, but he manages to dodge, unleashing his Bankai and covering the
Quincy’s giant upper body in ice.
Hinamori is carrying Shinji on her
shoulders away from the battle as we shift to a flashback from Uryuu’s
perspective.
He remembers Ryuuken doing some kind
of surgery or investigation on his mother’s corpse, the thought of his father
doing such a thing to his loved ones making him never want to be a doctor. At
high school, Ichigo wonders why the son of a doctor isn’t going to a special
school, but Uryuu says he doesn’t want to be a doctor, so it doesn’t matter,
also bringing up how Ichigo’s father is also a doctor.
In the present, Uryuu is approached
by Haschwalth, who notes that since Juhabach is now asleep, he possesses the
Almighty power, implying that his future vision concerns him greatly.
Uryuu wonders if this implies he
thinks the inheritor of Juhabach’s powers will betray them, Jugram saying he
didn’t hint at that in the slightest.
He brings up these tiny cubes that
he found scattered over the Soul Palace/Wahrwelt, noting that they’re connected
to the Sanrei Glove, which he calls the Leidenshand, the Glove of Suffering,
which Souken, Uryuu’s grandfather, stole in the past.
Uryuu insists he isn’t doing
anything with them that warrants suspicion, Juhabach unsheathing his sword to
prove it in a conflict.
A wall explodes as their fight moves
outside, Uryuu running into Ichigo, the chapter ending as they meet up again
after their last separation on bad terms.
One Piece 813
Everyone’s still in shock at the
announcement of Sanji being betrothed in some way to Big Mam’s daughter.
Brook seems to recognize the
Vinsmoke name, but we don’t get any details as Sanji’s cigarette that fell out
of his mouth starts a fire, Capone putting it out.
The others remember that Sanji said
he was born in North Blue rather than East Blue, Brook noting that it’s a huge
endeavor get there, since you have to cross the Red Line.
Caesar also notes that if Sanji
marries into Big Mam’s family, Purin likely her daughter since they share the
surname Charlotte, the Straw Hats would become underlings in her crew by
default.
Sanji refuses, saying he can’t just
marry a woman he’s never met, plus Luffy wouldn’t suffer to be anyone’s
subordinate, seeking to be the Pirate King.
But instead of letting them leave,
Capone just says he gave them the invitation: they’re still in his Castle, and
he controls it, so they’re already captured.
Not to mention that the importance
of one of Big Mam’s tea parties is such that refusing it would create more
problems.
We see a member of the Firetank
Pirates, Monster Gun Vito, who notes that it’s his choice to accept or not. He
whispers something in Sanji’s ear, the Black Leg wondering how they figured
such a thing out. In response, Vito says that it’s because Big Mam is one of the
Yonkou.
Sanji begrudgingly goes along with
this, handing a note to the group and apologizing for keeping some kind of
secret from them. He kicks them out, Caesar still left as a hostage for Sanji
to use as collateral.
He brings up how his wanted poster
qualified that he was wanted alive, speculating that Big Mam arranged that
along with the marriage. Capone decides they have no choice, since Catviper is
outside.
The Castle Man retreats, Sanji
telling them that they don’t have to worry, that he’ll fix this problem on his
own.
The chapter ends as Brook tells the
others they shouldn’t pursue, since he thinks Sanji has no intention of
returning, the note simply saying Sanji has a girl he has to meet.
Toriko 355
We’re told that the Wolf King’s
sense of smell allows it to discern information about a person down to their
Gourmet Cell Demon and even can be applied to inorganic matter, like rocks.
The things it analyzes seem to be
frozen as if their soul was drawn out of them. So it’s not a literal soul sucking
so much as the analysis has this effect on them in a temporary fashion.
Toriko’s Gourmet Cell Demon,
specifically Red, appears as Toriko notes they have a good sense of smell as
well.
Before they can fight, Starjun,
having recovered, teams up with Toriko to attack the Wolf King.
Their attacks make the Wolf King
remember a battle it had ages ago with a powerful beast (most likely Jirou from
the appearance we see), the combined strikes creating a giant chasm in the
earth.
Toriko and Starjun see the Wolf King
behind them, Toriko and the Wolf King exchanging information through their
senses of smell.
The nature of NEO is revealed in
some sense to Toriko, while the Wolf King learns of Toriko’s Gourmet Cell
Demons, of which there appears to be a third.
The two continue to process this
information as we move to Area 5 with Zebra and Brunch.
The chapter concludes as Yunyun
appears, Komatsu and the others arriving to bring them along with NEWS.
Fairy Tail 469
Cana and Porylusca come in, Happy explaining that
Natsu turned out like this after they retreated from their fight with Zeref.
Porylusca checks Natsu out, concluding that his
constant exertion has made his magic overheat and he’s developed a tumor of
Anti Eternano in his body that must be removed.
But she says there’re no doctors on Ishgar who can
perform the surgery.
Brandish says she can use her magic to shrink the
tumor to practically nothing if they’ll release the seals on her. Lucy pleads with her to do so with tears in her eyes.
Natsu is recovering afterwards, Porylusca and
Makarov discussing how they managed to be saved by a youngster who was
originally their enemy, Brandish voluntarily going back to her cell.
The Spriggan still insists she won’t be Lucy’s
friend, Aquarius bidding her farewell as she takes Lucy elsewhere.
She reiterates that her key has reappeared somewhere
and Lucy has to find it without her help. Lucy agrees, saying she won’t lose it
to anyone else, relieved that she has a mission of her own after they save the
world.
Meanwhile, we find that Lamia Scale and Mermaid Heel
were forced to retreat because of Dimaria and Wahl’s forces being too powerful.
We flashback to Kagura, her clothes all but stripped away by Dimaria’s skill.
Blue Pegasus and Sabretooth were forced to retreat
as well due to Bradman’s power that took out many of their numbers
And the 4 Wizard Saints of Ishgar are shown to be
defeated utterly by God Serena’s power, meaning this war has turned greatly in
Zeref’s favor.
The chapter ends as Warrod says he wished he
could’ve seen Mavis smile again, remembering their initial friendship in Fairy
Tail years ago, God Serena readying himself to finish them off.
