Boku no Hero Academia 29

Bakugou is still ready to target B Class’s Monoma and his group for stealing his headband.

Meanwhile, Todoroki, Shouji and other teams are going after Deku’s team for their points.

Kaminari unleashes all his power, shocking everyone behind them. Todoroki follows it up with using his ice power to freeze them to the ground when they were unable to move. Mei’s gadgets were damaged by the electricity, so Deku’s group’s mobility is hindered.

Tokoyami explains that Kaminari’s attacks are the biggest threat to him, since his Dark Shadow is stronger the less light there is. In daylight, it’s easy to control, but not much for attack power. Kaminari’s creating light, so Dark Shadow will be weaker against his attacks.

Deku thinks they can fake everyone out, since nobody really knows this weakness, and maintain their lead.

Bakugou finds out Monoma has a Quirk that allows him to copy any Quirk of someone he touches, able to use it for five minutes, but only one Quirk at a time. He leaves, taunting Bakugou, who still says he’ll win this at first place by taking back those headbands from Monoma and getting Deku’s as well.

There’s only about a minute left, Deku’s group managing to evade Todoroki by staying to his left so his ice attacks would also damage Iida at the center.

Iida says he’s going to use a technique that will cripple him temporarily, but it’ll allow Todoroki’s group an opportunity to get Deku’s headband.

The Engine Quirk User pushes his power to the limit, rushing them past Deku and stealing his headband before he even realizes it.

The ability was something Iida had been hiding as a trump card and now challenges Deku to get it back.

The chapter ends as Deku resolves to get it back, as everyone in his group has put their trust in him, All For One and Fire and Ice’s powers starting to clash.

Seven Deadly Sins 113

Elizabeth is seemingly in a dream, wondering what she was doing. She grabs a piece of paper, which is Meliodas’ wanted poster.

A figure in armor walks up to her from behind, appearing to be Meliodas as he is on the poster. Elizabeth is confused, woken up by the real Meliodas. This suggests she might’ve had just below the required Spirit power or was otherwise woken by Meliodas’ Spirit power.

Meliodas explains that Gowther has knocked everyone unconscious with his power, Elizabeth explaining that Gowther and Diane are fighting.

Diane and Gowther’s fight seems to be relatively even, Gowther dodging Diane’s stone pillars and Diane dodging Gowther’s arrows from his Sacred Treasure. Gowther compliments Diane’s Strength rank of 950, nearly as strong as Meliodas and higher than initially measured.

Diane summons her twin giants from the past, but Gowther uses Hi Jack to turn them against her.

Diane punches through them, leaping up to attack Gowther, telling him to stop this nonsense. The clash creates a huge explosion of light and power.

Meliodas’ group arrives, Diane somewhat injured, but telling them to look after Guila and Zeal.

Gowther is curled up with his knees to his chest, regretful of his actions and telling them to lock him away from everyone else. He speaks as if he will stop being himself eventually, Merlin related to this as Meliodas says they need to focus on other issues.

The Ten Commandments are looking at Edinburgh castle, bewildered at its destruction, particularly a huge hole. Zeldoris, the black haired Meliodas lookalike thinks this was Meliodas’ doing.

Other demons say they should wait, but Zeldoris asks his brother, Estarossa, what they should do.

Estarossa, the demon who resembles an older Meliodas, awakens from a brief nap, the demonic symbol appearing over his left eye as he smiles with dark thoughts on his mind as the chapter ends.

Magi 255

Judar is confused at Aladdin’s use of Solomon’s ability, thinking he couldn’t be using a formula he didn’t know. Aladdin reveals he’s using Solomon’s Wisdom, sort of his trump card ability in the series. It allows him to access the Sacred Palace, where all Rukh travels through, as well as the souls of all Magi. With that, he can access even magic from Alma Torran, which is the truest form of omniscience in the series.

The Black Rukh Magi unleashes a combination magic, Aladdin trying to knock it back with his Halharl Infigar, but the types of magic negate the flames. Aladdin tries to use Gravity magic to defeat the cold air dragons Judar summoned, but it doesn’t work.

Judar taunts Aladdin, saying he hasn’t really mastered Alma Torran magic and that it was really a bluff.

Aladdin admits this in his head, never having been able to use Alma Torran’s magic truly, only able to make slight imitations, like what he did with bending space itself just a while ago.

Aladdin has tried to access the memories before, but the sheer amount is too much for even him.

As he fights Judar, Aladdin is trying to find the right path to get the information, since accessing it all at once would destroy him. It’s dangerous, since Judar implies that using the power at all could make Aladdin fall into depravity by accessing memories and twisting them in some way.

Judar says that since Aladdin is an outsider, he has no real reason to try to save the people in this world, that he should curse those of Alma Torran who forced their mission on him.

Aladdin responds that he’s wrong: he’s gained more knowledge by being in this world and he’s grown fond of everyone, so he has bonds that motivate him to move forward in his mission, both accepting and denying his fate through the choice Ugo gave him.

The chapter ends as Aladdin actually utilizes a more complete version of the Gravity manipulation magic and knocks Judar away.

World Trigger 92

The chapter begins with the various squads interacting. Kitora gets little recognition from her junior, Futaba from the all girl squad, feeling depressed at not receiving any praise from someone lower-ranked than her.

Meanwhile, Yuma and Midorikawa decide to have their follow up duel after Yuma showed off his Grasshopper technique in the recent Rank War battle.

Usami bickers with Kazama squad, having previously been their Operator. Kazama compliments her use of Suwa to defeat Arafune, but says it won’t work a second time. Kikuchihara has the most direct and critical approach, Usami putting him in a headlock to show her appreciation for being so honest.

She also compliments Kodera from Miwa Squad for his commentary before, Kodera blushing at the attention and praise from what is likely a crush.

Osamu asks whether Miwa is S rank now, Kodera saying that his squad leader thought it was better to use in specific situations and remained the squad leader and A rank after talking with Commander Kido.

Kodera further explains that since HQ has Fujin, and it’s so compatible, they’ll eventually be giving lessons on utilization to others who can use it, which Jin offered to teach.

The group thinks Jin still has a plan, but we’re left with more speculation as we change scenery back to Tamakoma.

Reiji says they did well overall against middle class B rank squads, but one thing bothers him. The plan to have Chika Bail Out if Osamu and Yuma were defeated seems like they’re being overprotective of her. In away missions, Chika will have to fight on her own occasionally.

Usami responds that the group knows that Chika blames herself for her brother being taken by Neighbors and that she generally doesn’t care about her own safety, so they’re trying to instill a habit of protecting herself in Rank Wars for future endeavors, so she won’t be reckless.

Reiji meets with Chika and decides to treat her to dinner to show his appreciation.

Back at Border, Yuma and Midorikawa’s fight ended in a 7-3 split, meaning Midorikawa is arguably a bit better than before, the last fight was 8-2 in Yuma’s favor.

The chapter ends as Murakami, the #4 Attacker in Border and head of Suzunari-1 Squad appears, Kodera saying that Murakami was the reason Arafune quit being an Attacker.

One Piece 776

Franky motions the Tontatta to destroy the Smile factory, falling unconscious after he’s finished his task.

Back at the Flower Fields, Kyros and Diamante continue to fight, the Flag Man having an advantage with his mobility and Devil Fruit ability.

Diamante taunts Kyros, saying he should give up with this hopeless situation, but Kyros says he’s not going to give up and he isn’t letting his handicap affect him.

Diamante unleashes what appears to be some kind of fireworks, shooting confetti into the air. But it’s actually a hail of spiked balls he made into fluttering paper, unleashing the power.

Robin manages to utilize her Hana Hana power and create an umbrella to deflect the balls and protect Rebecca and herself.

Kyros, on the other hand, is deflecting the attacks with sheer skill and experience, rushing at Diamante. But Diamante shoots him with his flintlock, the balls striking him.

Rebecca wants to fight and protect her father, Robin holding her back.

Kyros says that Rebecca doesn’t need to fight, not because of some notion of her being a weak woman, but because she’s preserved her mother’s ideals, never drawing blood with her sword in the years of fighting in the coliseum.

Diamante thinks Kyros is crazy, the gladiator responding that he represents Dressrosa’s anger and he will take Diamante down.

The Flag Man prepares to finish him off with his Half Moon Glaive that he used before, but Kyros attacks with Trueno Espada/Thunder Sword, cutting Diamante’s sword in half as the chapter ends on his seeming victory.

Bleach 615

We see there’s an earthquake in Karakura, apparently a steady one, which is definitely a concern, since it implies the Soul King wasn’t just maintaining Soul Society’s stability, but the Physical World as well.

Returning to the Soul King’s death, Ichigo wonders why he did it.

Juhabach explains that with his Almighty power, he can see the future, as well as steal power from others and bestow power unto others and items as well, such as his sword.

Ichigo moves to attack Juhabach, who blocks with a barrier of some sort. Juhabach says Ichigo has no more reason to fight him, now that Soul Society is crumbling.

Kisuke’s group starts to realize this, Kisuke explaining that with the Soul King’s death, all worlds will start to crumble.

Juhabach further explains that the Soul King was meant to stabilize the flow of souls from all the worlds, meaning that the destruction is caused by the imbalance that was a threat from the Quincy’s actions. Now even that doesn’t matter, the world balance severed.

Yoruichi reveals she placed a bunch of deadly wires around Juhabach, telling Inoue to restore the Soul King with her power.

But it doesn’t work, Juhabach saying a mere human’s powers cannot restore such a thing as the Soul King.

The chapter ends as Renji thinks there’s got to be something they can do, Ukitake with a serious look on his face in the last panel.

I wonder if the Kamikake that we saw from Ukitake when he met with Shunsui will have something to do with it. And we still don’t know what Shunsui is doing. If it has something to do with Aizen, I wonder if a replacement to the Soul King is possible.

Toriko 312

We see some people feeling a sense of unease, trying to eat their favorite foods so they won’t have any regrets. The source of that fear and concern is Bambina’s true form, felt even in the Human World.

Zebra explains that whether it was clothing or an outer layer of skin, this is Bambina’s true form.

Bambina unleashes a powerful attack, the group’s Gourmet Cell Demons appearing and allowing them to dodge the otherwise fatal strike with the Monkey King’s tail.

Kaka explains that Toriko using the Gourmet Cell Demons previously disrupted his Enbu and the appearance just now was what allowed them to avoid Bambina’s attack, since they were assaulted with the full force of 100x normal gravity with their cell harmony affected.

Toriko’s group resolves themselves to fight Bambina, even if he’s at full power.

Kaka manages to get past the animals guarding Komatsu, possibly through Enbu techniques, moving to where Komatsu is. It seems like Komatsu is somewhat awake, looking at Kaka as they both seem shocked at the other being there.

The chapter ends as Toriko’s group tries to sync their cells together, the power of 240 trillion cells possibly enough to beat Bambina and get PAIR.

Fairy Tail 419

The chapter begins as we see Natsu is acquitted by the king for his seeming crimes in the Grand Magic Games and property damage.

Lucy meets up with him, Natsu asking where everyone else is. Lucy explains the guild’s dissolution, Natsu in shock at this. But he’s more frustrated than anything, wanting to take it out on Makarov.

They don’t even really know why it broke up or why everyone else just accepted it. Lucy reminds Natsu he didn’t tell anyone about his decision to go on a journey, so he should consider that everyone else had their reasons as well.

Lucy lets Natsu and Happy crash at her place, the two hanging out as usual with their banter and bickering.

Natsu and Happy wake up, planning to draw on Lucy’s face to let out their feelings about the guild being broken up, but stumble upon Lucy’s chart.

Natsu and Happy look at the map showing all the locations she’s discovered of Fairy Tail members, impressed as they see her asleep.

The next morning, the army shows up at Lucy’s house, seeking out Natsu. He bursts out carrying Lucy as they flee to another area.

Natsu put a message in temporary flames of Fairy Tail’s name so everyone could see it and recognize that Fairy Tail isn’t dead.

The chapter ends as they begin their journey to find the other guild members.
