Seven Deadly Sins 87
Elizabeth tells Meliodas to remember the promise he made to
always protect her. Hendricksen flies away with Elizabeth, Meliodas unable to
chase after him. Meanwhile, Diane and the others are having their own issues
fighting off the demons, King fighting the resurrected Helbram and the others
just struggling to keep alive.
Margaret notices Gil’s wound is getting worse, Meliodas
saying it’s Hendricksen’s power, Acid. They have to defeat him or dispel the
power. But Ban still remains, ready to challenge Meliodas, Hawk intervening to
say they have to go find Elizabeth, but help the others before that.
Ban then speaks, attacking Meliodas and taking off his right
arm. He says that Meliodas shouldn’t dodge so this will be painless, but
Meliodas continues to fight. He even manages to reattach his lost arm, using
his demon powers.
Ban asks Meliodas directly whether he’s a member of the
demon clan, Meliodas not answering, saying they have to save Elizabeth and not
fight amongst themselves. But Ban says bringing Elaine back to life is more
important to him than anything and that killing Meliodas will allow him to do
that. When Meliodas asks who told him that, Hawk explains it was someone from
the Goddess Clan, which stuns him enough for Ban to get a solid hit, knocking
him into a wall.
Hawk says he’ll fight Ban, who says he should do it, since
he doesn’t want to kill his best friend. But Meliodas says he’ll let Ban do it,
since he’d do it if he were in Ban’s shoes.
Elsewhere, Elizabeth says that she’ll kill herself, having
found a shard of debris. Since she knows Hendricksen needs her for his plan,
she’s willing to sacrifice her life to save everyone else. But she’s stopped by
Griamor’s Barrier power as Hendricksen grabs her arm, Griamor saying she
shouldn’t make her dead sister sad. The chapter ends on Griamor, looking more
determined than before.
The anime will debut October 5th and continue weekly. Next
week will introduce the staff and cast, as well as give us a visual pinup.
Magi 233
Ugo explains the situation, Solomon having redistributed the
Rukh from Il Ilah to everyone. But Ithnan thinks that it’s just made things
worse, since the magicians can now only use a limited amount of magoi, instead
of the unlimited amount from Il Ilah. The other magicians are concerned this
will create more conflicts, but Sheba says they’re wrong. She says that since
the Rukh is white, it’s now Solomon’s will, which was for peace.
But Arba says they’re still chained by destiny: it’s just
the person behind it has changed from Il Ilah to Solomon. Ugo responds that Solomon’s will was to create
a utopia, so it cannot be as it was before.
Ithnan continues to question things, saying that they should
act of their own will. Wahid and Ithnan argue that destiny just insults the
dead, who he thinks are now sealed with Il Ilah. Sheba responds that it’s been
shared with everyone. But Falan and
Wahid still oppose this, since they cannot accept something like destiny,
especially with their dead daughter seemingly gone for good.
Falan says that Sheba, Ugo and Arba are different, since
they have become Magi, able to draw power from the Rukh around them. The
inequality makes people think Solomon is little different than David in being a
tyrant, making executive decisions without consulting the others.
Sheba retorts that Solomon sacrificed himself to become a
king, while David was made into a king by coercion and manipulation. She thinks
they’re ungrateful, since they have equality now, but cannot accept it as it
is.
Arba tries to calm things, but Ithnan, Wahid and Falan say
they cannot accept things, Arba seemingly trying to twist the situation to her
position that Solomon is now the new God.
Sheba talks with Solomon later, saying he should try to convince
everyone that things are better now. But she realizes that Solomon isn’t fully
there, only a reflection of the Rukh, his true self now beyond the vision of
most people. She says she’ll persist in his place to keep the world peaceful.
Later, she is approached by Arba’s group, the conflict
persisting. But it suddenly stops, Sheba thinking that they’ve understood
Solomon’s will.
But the chapter ends as we see Arba, seemingly summoning
black Rukh, leading up to the Black Spot incident that destroyed Alma Toran.
World Trigger 69
Chika is turned into a cube as the chapter begins. Izumi and
Karasuma tell Osamu to run with Chika’s cube while they hold off Hyrein, the
user of Alektor, which is apparently a Black Trigger (meaning there are at
least 3 Black Trigger users including Enedora and Viza).
Two of the Rabits, now unoccupied after Midorikawa Bailed
Out, go after Osamu, who dodges their attacks. But one of them fires magnet
bolts, Osamu blocking them with his shield. The other fires a basic shot, Osamu
dropping Chika’s cube.
But before the Rabit can grab it, Osamu thrusts his Ragyust
into it, retrieving the cube. But the Rabit prepares to attack again, Replica
coming in at the last second and blocking the attack, using a Gate to summon a
Black Rabbit as the chapter ends on Replica saying that things are getting
dangerous, so they have to pull out all the stops.
One Piece 755
We start at the Scrap Heap, Kanjurou having drawn ladders
(poorly as usual) for the prisoners to escape on.
At the SMILE factory, the Tontatta are fighting the workers,
using earplugs to avoid their lies. They stop them from calling for
reinforcements, the princess’ aide rushing to help her, breaking down the door
to her room accidentally. Other Tontatta start to open the front door.
Franky tries to trick Senor Pink by saying there’s an old
lady in trouble. The Tontatta inside are attacked by the head of the factory, a
woman with a vacuum cleaner. Franky opens the door, the boss attacking him. But
he grabs her, suplexing the boss into Senor Pink as he tries to attack Franky
from behind.
The boss is still conscious, enraged at Franky. But he
kisses her, serving as a distraction. Both he and Senor Pink call the boss a
naïve young girl who doesn’t know anything of love. The two of them are praised
as heartbreakers by the women in the vicinity. Senor Pink and Franky then
unleash their attacks: Diaper Bomb and Nipple Light Special.
We return to Zoro and Pica’s fight, Pica having managed to
escape Zoro’s attack from last time.
Rebecca, Robin, Leo and Bartolomeo are still floating
towards the palace. They’re contacted by Moussy, Princess Mansherry’s aide from
before, who confirms the princess isn’t in the factory. They think she might be
in the palace.
Usopp is panicking as he realizes the kingdom is after him
and King Riku. Viola calms him, saying they won’t hurt Riku. She starts to look
everywhere to find Mansherry with her power.
The chapter ends as we see Mansherry weeping and hoping Leo
will save her.
Naruto 687
Kakashi is still in shock that Obito sacrificed himself.
Kaguya and Black Zetsu realize they need to go back to what’s called the
Genesis dimension (the central world) to recharge chakra. Naruto, Sasuke and
Sakura are still processing things, Obito thinking to himself that Kakashi has
to remain as the support for the new generation.
Naruto realizes the situation and tries to help him, but
Black Zetsu says it’s useless, taunting Obito as useless scum that betrayed
them even as he became Naruto’s ally. They continue on with this, saying how
pointless Obito’s life has been, losing Rin, failing to become Hokage and not
leaving any impact on the world.
Naruto is growing further frustrated at their words, Sasuke’s
Sage Rinnegan recharged, prompting him to try to attack Kaguya. But she teleports
them to the Genesis dimension. Sasuke tells Naruto he’ll distract Kaguya,
insisting that he leave Obito. Naruto is still struggling, Obito thanking him
for reminding him of the past and making him remember how strong his dream was.
He flashes back to Rin gaining resolve to protect and watch over him as he
tries to become Hokage.
As Obito crumbles away, he says he admires Naruto’s nindou
and is confident that Naruto will become Hokage, Naruto agreeing as the body
becomes ash.
Sasuke, meanwhile, is fighting Kaguya, Black Zetsu further
taunting Obito. This enrages Naruto, who says Obito was a great person, since
he shared the dream of becoming Hokage.
The chapter ends as Rin and Obito meet in a sort of
afterlife, Rin complimenting Obito for trying his best to become Hokage, the
two of them passing on.
Toriko 287
.
We resume on Toriko’s Blue Oni attacking Horse King
Heracles. The clash of their power makes all the beasts on the continent start
to flee. Meanwhile, Kiss, Quinn and Terry notice what’s happening, moving to
help, presumably.
Blue Oni is impressed at Heracles’ power, saying that Toriko
should be able to hold out. He and Red Oni eat different ingredients, but
they’re both his appetites. We see Toriko’s hair has gone black, Blue Oni
having fully left his body temporarily.
Mappy and Komatsu arrive where Food King AIR is, Slow Rain
Hills. The sheer density of the air makes it hard to move. Zebra appears behind
them, saying Brunch went to get a knife. Komatsu explains the situation, saying
they have to prepare AIR fast, Zebra using Jet Voice to propel them through
faster.
Brunch has found the knife left by Ichiryuu, pulling it out
with some difficulty, amazed at its power.
The chapter ends as Zebra, Komatsu and Mappy arrive where
AIR is, the size dwarfing them.
Bleach 591
Yumichika and Ikkaku are shocked to see the Arrancar as
allies, Ikkaku having fought Luppi before and Yumichika thinking he defeated
Charlotte before. Dordoni and Cirucci are looking for Ichigo and Uryuu
respectively, Luppi annoyed at their simple mindedness.
Mayuri hits a switch, which sends a shock through their
nerves to simulate pain. Their bodies are safe, so they’re in a bad spot,
saying how sadistic Mayuri is. Mayuri confirms that the three Arrancar besides
Charlotte were apparently stolen from Szayelaporro’s vault in Hueco Mundo.
Giselle says that those 4 Arrancar can’t beat all her
zombies, Mayuri further provoking them by saying that she’s calling them weak.
They move to attack, Yumichika and Ikkaku concerned about attacking the
unseated soldiers. But Mayuri responds that it’s their duty to die in order to
protect the Seireitei.
Dordoni and Cirucci quickly discuss that getting zombie
blood on them wouldn’t be a problem, since they’re zombies and Ikkaku got some
on him and hasn’t turned.
Giselle reattaches Bambietta’s arm, Charlotte appearing to
challenge Giselle, saying they are alike. Bambietta moves to attack, Charlotte
grabbing her and throwing the body at Mayuri, just narrowly missing. Charlotte
insists his hand slipped, but Mayuri thinks otherwise.
Bambietta rushes to attack again, Charlotte thinking that he
has to vaporize her, unleashing his Cero, which seemingly burns Bambietta
completely.
The chapter ends as Giselle says she has to bring out her
best fighter, revealing that she’s made Hitsugaya a zombie slave, seemingly
having died as he’s like Bambietta in appearance, his skin dark gray.
Fairy Tail 395
We start with a revelation that Juvia’s win was not
completely without some setbacks, as Keith had Magic Barrier Particles in him,
putting Juvia’s life in danger. Lucy catches Juvia as she falls, ensuring her
that she’ll see Gray again.
Meanwhile, Sting and Rogue are only managing to be remotely
even with Mard Geer, who’s impressed by their Dragon Slayer magic and general
power.
Minerva, Erza, the Exceed and Franmalth are moving to get
out of Tartaros’ base, trusting in their friends to keep the others occupied
while they stop the Face bombs. Frosch and Lector are happy that Minerva seems
to be more trusting in the guild, Pantherlily and Happy more interested after
the Sabertooth Exceed mention Minerva can cook well.
Back with Natsu and Gajeel’s fights, Torafusa and Tempesta
decide to take the fight more seriously, treating the two like Dragon Mages.
The two demons start to change drastically into their Etherious forms (the true
appearance of their demonic heritage), the two Dragon Slayers starting to power
up as well, unleashing their combination powers of Lightning Flame and Shadow
Iron.
The two compete over whose power is better like children,
rushing to strike their opponents. They manage to do it at the same time,
knocking the demons back and making them think their opponents are monsters in
their own right.
The chapter ends as Gajeel and Natsu punch each other, still
bragging about who’ll be the best, stunning Torafusa.
