Strongly contemplating adding Golem Hearts to the lineup, since I have confidence in it. It may end up getting cancelled and end abruptly as Hi Fi Cluster did when I covered it, but we’ll see.

Golem Hearts 2

We see that Noah, after saving kidnapped children from the village he lives in, has been accepted in spite of being a golem that looks overly human and his inexperience with the golem arts similar to his father, Lamech

A soldier is visiting the village for their skunk mushrooms, ordering 10 in spite of it potentially affecting his work. Another patron orders 50, though we don’t see their face

Lamech is working on another golem, but it’s a failure again. Noah says he’ll become the second best arcanist (sorcery scholar in fan translations, since the Japanese is madou gakushi, magic scholar) to show how great Lamech is for making him, noting that they’re both seen as failures in a way, not great at golem arts yet in spite of having minor successes.

Noah is picked up by a military golem, controlled by the soldier before, Captain Garbo. He wants Noah, slashing him with a knife, testing his durability and proving that he’s indeed a golem.

Lamech refuses Garbo’s request to take Noah with him, saying that even if he’s a golem, Noah is his family.

Garbo has his golem destroy Lamech’s home, though Lamech tries to play it off as a minor inconvenience

Noah is taken away by Garbo’s golem in spite of Lamech’s protests, Lamech trying to destroy it with a golem art called Zero, but Garbo has put Padlock on it so that only he can affect the golem, which punches Lamech away

The golem’s arm is smashed by Noah, who runs to Lamech, revealed to be mortally injured by a broken plank from the house

Noah wants to use golem arts to help him, but realizes he can’t, wanting to stay with Lamech forever. Lamech tells him that it’s sad that they will part, but he believes his son will become the best arcanist around

Garbo moves to retrieve Noah, but his golem is slashed in half and himself scarred by the force of the attack as Noah uses Golem Art Level 5 (noted to be the most powerful by Lamech last chapter): Paladin, his arm morphed into a massive sword

As the soldier flees with his assistant, Noah is divided between happiness at showing how he’s improved in his golem arts and sadness at losing his father in the process of this accomplishment.

The chapter ends as we see the patron from before who ordered 50 skunk mushrooms, a girl, who sees a commotion nearby connected with Lamech.

Dr. Stone 35

Suika, having been tied to a tree by Mantle, thinks she can’t escape, but then remembers her ability to contort her body, getting into her melon helmet and rolling to the tournament

Kinrou is doing well against Magma, seemingly evenly matched for now with a flurry of strikes, Senkuu and the others impressed

Mantle moves to throw rocks, but Chrome notes that his directly intervening like that to affect the match would be considered illegal by Jasper, Magma’s subordinate trying to make like he was just clashing the rocks together. Senkuu reveals he had his own plans, throwing away the stuff he was going to use

Magma pulls back, Kinrou’s vision unable to focus on him now and making his strikes shallow as Kinrou is knocked back by Magma’s blow

Suika notices this, deducing that Kinrou also has the fuzzy disease. She rolls up to where Ruri is, rolling down the stairs to build up speed and then throws her helmet off into the ring for Kinrou.

Kinrou puts it on, looking a bit silly to Senkuu and Chrome, but he’s able to dodge Magma’s attacks easily now with the power of science

Magma is frustrated, attacking Kinrou again, who dodges and steps on the spear now, counter attacking with a newfound precision as the chapter ends with him saying that he’s surpassed Magma’s strength now

We Can’t Study 38

Yuiga and his family arrive at the summer festival in the area, wanting to help Yuiga take a break from studying.

They meet Uruka and Fumino, both in yukata, which Yuiga says suits them, especially Fumino, comparing her to an ideal Japanese woman, a yamato nadeshiko.

Uruka’s super excited that Yuiga complimented her, Fumino leaving them alone as she says she needs to get a present for her father.

Uruka shows Yuiga how her tongue’s turned light pink from the shaved ice she’s eating, even offering him a taste, though Yuiga’s having awkward thoughts with Uruka showing her tongue

They see Rizu and her father at their udon stall, Rizu going out for deliveries, Yuiga offering to help since she has so many bags and Uruka helping Rizu’s father with food preparation

After finishing up their deliveries, Rizu enjoying apricot candy in between, which makes Yuiga comment that she’s like a small animal again when she’s eating.

They see a woman wearing a Kamen Rider mask of sorts shooting the prizes at a shooting gallery with perfect accuracy, taking a bag full of them.

Yuiga immediately recognizes her as Kirisu, who tries to run away, but trips and hurts her ankle, needing to be carried on Yuiga’s back. She explains she was sent there by the principal to keep an eye on the students in secret

Kominami and her father are at the first aid station, helping out people, Yuiga told to take care of Kirisu’s injury.

Yuiga does so, Kirisu screaming in an awkwardly sexual fashion as he sanitizes the wound.

The time passes as Yuiga continues to help Kominami and her father, who apologizes for him being inconvenienced, since the last train is going to leave soon. Kominami even teases him that she'd like to go to the festival just the two of them next time

Yuiga leaves, but finds a girl crying, separated from her mother and sister.

She finds her family, telling them about the nice man who helped her, though Yuiga’s already left. The girl, Kana, is told by her older sister that a nice lady helped her to find their mom as well.

Yuiga arrives at the station, the train already having left.

The chapter ends as another person is at the station, Yuiga recognizing them, but we can’t tell who it is

Black Clover 133

Zora is leaving, Julius stopping him as he wants to give the Magic Knight praise for his efforts. But Zora says he already knew better than Zechs about how to be a true Magic Knight

Julius recognizes Zora as resembling his father, who was part of the reason that they implemented the star system to make things fairer between nobles and commoners.

He asks Zora if he’d want to wear the robe of his squad, someone offering him a robe in the past, very likely Yami because of how unconventional Zora is. But Zora says he’s not a Magic Knight, just a wandering magic nomad

Meanwhile, Asta’s still in shock at the outcome of things, since he not only wasn’t able to fight Yuno, but it was revealed that Zora wasn’t Zechs from before. But Vanessa brings up that he passed, so he should be happy about it.

Charmy is so overwhelmed by how cool Yuno was that she can’t even eat as much as she could before.

Asta’s thinking to himself about all the stuff that happened, Finral in intensive care at the Royal Capita’s hospital, Langris following him.

But what really makes Asta worry is that Langris’ magic was definitely like the Demon magic used by Fana and Vett before.

Suddenly, Mereoleona bursts in, Magna trying to tell her to be quiet, though she shuts him down.

Fuegoleon has given her a bottle of powerful alcohol to gift to Yami.

She then takes Asta, Noelle and Luck, Magna shocked since he wasn’t approved to join the Royal Knights, though Mereoleona says one other Black Bull should’ve passed but isn’t here.

At the ceremony, Mereoleona reveals she will be the captain for the Royal Knights, saying everyone here has passed, team members from Yuno, Asta and Luck’s teams comprising 8 people so far. She notes one person isn’t here, Zora leaping from the shadows as she attacks with her flame magic.

His trap magic turns it back on her as we see that he’s wearing the Black Bull’s robe, a fellow member like Asta, Noelle and Luck, the chapter ending on this reveal as he tells them his true name, Zora

Boku no Hero Academia 159

Chrono is concerned that Chisaki might be losing. Since he needs to escape with the serum if that’s the case, he moves to attack Aizawa again, but is stopped by Suneater as he and the police come in to apprehend him. Asui shows up, telling the others to come with her to where Deku is.

Deku slams Chisaki into the ground, seemingly victorious. But Eri’s Quirk is getting even stronger, rewinding even more than before

Chisaki gets a second wind, but is knocked back by Eri’s Quirk pushing Rikiya out of him as Uraraka restrains him

Ryukyu and the others come up, Uraraka explaining the situation as we see Eri’s Quirk is still going berserk, Eri crying at the despair she’s feeling

Aizawa uses his Quirk, knocking them both out after their Quirks are deactivated from the sheer exhaustion they experienced

Everyone’s trying to help the injured, Aizawa and Nighteye telling Deku that this was still a decent success, managing to save Eri, who has to be taken to the hospital since she’s feverish after activating her Quirk

But as the chapter concludes we see that Shigaraki, Dabi and Mr. Compress have taken 11 of the Eight Precepts of Death members and are hoping to heal them at a villain hospital, also acquiring the bullets and a mysterious capsule they didn’t know about

One Piece 885

Katakuri brings up Luffy’s weakened state, the Rubber Man running as Gear Fourth’s time limit is coming. Katakuri follows, turning himself into mochi again.

Luffy comes across Brulee, using the opportunity to grab her and go through a nearby mirror, escaping Katakuri

Luffy dodges her attack, Perospero and Amande trying to stop him as well, Luffy narrowly getting out of the way with Brulee in tow

Mont D’or sends all the fleet ships to search for Bege, Luffy and Jinbe’s crews, since the territorial sea slugs are unable to be used.

Back with Sanji and the others making the cake, we learn that Sanji has made an exceptionally sweet whipped cream with sesame, making one of the chefs faint, Pudding nearly the same

The chapter ends as they’re right on schedule to head out and finish the cake as they take it to where Big Mom is, Sanji ready to wow her.

One Piece is on break next week

Seven Deadly Sins 242

Merlin wakes up as Hawk and the others explain the situation, the Sin of Gluttony having been knocked out when the Boar’s Hat was attacked.

She moves to reverse the magic seal on her, but Escanor starts to cough uncontrollably, King and Diane also feeling unwell.

Merlin explains that it’s the miasma from Meliodas getting more corrupt, Elizabeth taking him outside. The others wonder where Ban is, King remembering that he went to meet with Elaine

As Elizabeth continues to tell Meliodas she won’t give up on him, Merlin has restored herself, the others looking through the storage room, a mess now

King tells the others they need to develop some way to fight against Chandler, the Demon moving quickly to where they are, Escanor reverting to his weakened form as night falls in the area again

But Chandler is bowing before Meliodas, who has awakened, Merlin recognizing his form as that of when he was the commander of the Ten Commandments.

Meliodas seems to still remember the others, but says they were once friends. He demands Chandler take him to Zeldris, bringing Elizabeth with him. He says he has a way to save Elizabeth, but that the others should not follow him

The chapter ends as Meliodas states he doesn’t want to have to kill his former comrades, disbanding the Seven Deadly sins
