Dr. Stone 22
Senkuu and Chrome think they should
use science as bait, telling Suika to seek out more people as she rolls into
the village to investigate.
We see that some of the villagers
don’t care as long as they don’t intrude, though some are interested in
romance, like the younger females and others are more interested in fish and
cooking them.
Suika reports back, saying that
Ruby, Sapphire and Garnet want boyfriends, Senkuu and Chrome thinking that’s
near impossible. Kohaku thinks Senkuu could be a candidate, though Chrome seems
to regard women as troublesome, only making exceptions for Kohaku, who he sees
as a gorilla and Ruri otherwise, though Kohaku beats him a bit for referring to
her as such
The two main people that Senkuu
thinks are a good opportunity are Ganen, the town foodie who’s tired of eating
fish, and Ruby, one of the “sparkling sisters”, who wants someone to dote on
her with food.
Senkuu concludes that they can use
food as an appeal, but Chrome wonders what that has to do with science. He explains that the umami in fish comes from
glutamic and inosinic acid, so science is directly connected to food.
Suika is playing with Chalk, waiving
a green foxtail around.
Seeing that, Senkuu thinks they can
make a great delicacy. They harvest a massive amount and with scientific
methods, they start to thresh the foxtails into flour through trial and error.
Combining it with an egg, ash lye and potassium carbonate, they make a rough
version of ramen, which to Chrome, Senkuu and Suika is amazing, though Senkuu
thinks it’s still quite bland compared to modern ramen
With food being the basis of modern
civilization, Senkuu and Chrome set up a ramen stand, hoping to draw in more
people than ever, Kohaku and Ruri’s father and Ganen, the foodie, drawn by the
scent as the chapter ends.
We Can’t Study 25
Takemoto’s told that her swim times
are getting slightly lower than usual, her coach saying she should try to
balance her studies and training.
We see that Uruka’s getting better
at her study material, Yuiga impressed. He also encourages her regarding the
upcoming summer swim meet, which makes Uruka even more galvanized to train
Uruka’s getting better, her
teammates thinking they were worried over nothing. But in the showers, Kashima
tells Uruka that she needs to pace herself and not overwork in regards to
training just because studying has affected her times. Uruka says she’s just more
motivated and she doesn’t want Yuiga to worry, her teammates teasing her about
the crush she has on her tutor.
As she goes to sleep, Uruka
remembers Yuiga’s praise, even more encouraged to work at her swimming.
The coach is impressed as Uruka’s
scores seem to have been improving much more than expected.
The next day, Uruka leaves for
practice after lunch, a half day at school today. Fumino notices that Uruka
didn’t eat a pot sticker, wondering why her appetite’s suddenly changed.
Yuiga goes to check on Uruka, but is
shocked to see her collapse, taking her to the nurse’s office.
He thinks to himself that he
should’ve noticed, but is impressed that Uruka would work this hard for the
stuff she’s passionate about. Remembering when she talked about her crush at
the shrine, he thinks that guy is pretty lucky to have her like him.
Uruka turns over in bed, grabbing
Yuiga and pulling him close. She says his name in her sleep, Yuiga freezing in
confusion.
But he has to quickly hide under the
bed as Uruka’s teammates come into the nurse’s office. They talk amongst
themselves about how she didn’t want her crush to worry, one of them revealing
it’s Yuiga as the chapter ends, Nariyuki shocked at learning this.
Black Clover 120
The last match starts, Yuno and
Noelle slightly worried about their teammate from the Green Mantis, En
Ringarde, who looks as if he’s on the brink of exhaustion.
Noelle tells Yuno to keep his cool
unlike Asta, but Yuno counters that she might not be okay since she can’t
control her magic very well
The two continue to bicker, Noelle
getting more flustered as Yuno brings up how she seems to want Asta’s
attention.
Solid comments how the group is
outclassed and misplaced with Noelle being a failure in his eyes in so many
ways, Noelle remembering how her siblings bullied her so horribly in the past.
The opposing team reins Solid in,
Yuno and Noelle still disagreeing about who should take the lead.
As they’re debating, we see Solid
rushing at them in a combo with the other two to take them out in one blow.
Yuno unleashes a massive sickle of
wind, blasted back by another Magic Knight’s Fire Magic.
Noelle creates Sea Dragon’s Nest to
block the attack, but the third member uses Sand Magic to absorb the water
Yuno pulls her out of the fray,
Noelle insisting she can still fight. But he tells her that she should fight
the others off with Ringarde while he guards the crystal
Noelle accepts his proposal, Yuno feeling
more confident that he can protect the crystal himself.
Solid moves to fight Noelle, while
Yuno faces off against the Sand Magic user.
We see them flashback to when they
heard about Yuno’s exploits when the Diamond Kingdom’s Shining Generals
attacked, noting how confident he was.
The chapter ends as we resume in the
present, Yuno being called arrogant by his opponent, Yuno just hoping he fights
him seriously
Boku no Hero Academia 148
Deku and Aizawa are worried about
the state of things, since Toga being here means that the League of Villains is
allied with the Eight Precepts of Death.
Twice attacks Nighteye with the
Rappa double, but even without using Foresight, he manages to take down the
giant fighter with a well placed kick along with throwing an 11 pound seal
referred to as being hypermass. Nighteye says that he’s impressed that the
League of Villains is working with the yakuza, Twice infuriated.
Nighteye rips off part of Twice’s
mask with a barrage of the seals, Twice running away. He’s struggling to retain
his identity, the mask what keeps him whole.
Toga appears and helps him, saying
that she understands how he feels guilty for Magnee getting killed and
compliments the Double Man for doing his best
We flashback to Shigaraki explaining
why they should join up with the Eight Precepts of Death, Twice still
questioning the logic, especially since he blames himself not only for Magnee
getting killed and Compress losing his arm, but Overhaul being drawn to the
League of Villains in the first place.
Toga moves towards Shigaraki,
brandishing her knife and holding it at his neck, asking why they should do
what he says, the next Symbol of Evil simply saying it’s for all their sakes.
They’re convinced to go along with
his plan as he says that he believes in them, that they aren’t expendable to
him unlike with Overhaul.
Twice thinks to himself that he has
to do what he can, doubling Irinaka and making him start to twist the hallways
again. The chapter ends as he plans to just take out anyone in his way,
seemingly going berserk.
Magi 358
Alibaba thinks this whole situation
is going to be much tougher now with the armies of Reim, Parthevia, Magnostadt
and Kou, along with having to protect everyone from the angels of the Sacred
Palace trying to return them to the rukh.
But he remembers that the magic
rewriting the rukh is from the Sacred Palace, thinking that Sinbad must be
doing something.
David tells Sinbad they should join
together as singularities and challenge the other dimensions.
Sinbad responds that they’re not so
different from the humans they regarded as below them, since they have dreams
as they do and they’re both easily attached to them rather than moving on.
David claims he’s beyond such
attachments, disregarding anything other than himself and the destiny he sees.
He argues that the humans below them were just a means to the end of getting to
the Sacred Palace, but Sinbad doesn’t consider it that special
The first singularity ponders what
Sinbad’s thinking, since he thinks Sinbad may be looking at a different destiny
than him and thus that his destiny would be to lose this battle.
Suddenly, David’s appearance changes
to a younger form, commenting that the Sacred Palace’s magic is advancing
faster now
Alibaba still holds hope that the
rukh rewriting can be erased, but he sees the Great Rift expand, a giant magic
circle appearing in the sky.
A mysterious black mass comes down
from the sky out of the magic circle, stabbing into the ground and draining the
rukh more forcefully, not unlike what happened in Alma Torran.
The chapter ends as David says
they’ll finish this battle soon.
One Piece 875
The group narrowly dodges Big Mom’s
attack with Napoleon, which sends a massive shockwave through even the ocean.
Baum is barely clinging on after having a part of him blasted off, Nami
inspiring him to keep running by learning that the female tree that was helping
him before is his fiancée.
Nami holds back Luffy, saying she’s
got a plan. She unleashes Black Ball from her Clima Tact, the thunder
attracting Zeus’ attention as he moves to eat them. This makes Big Mom fall,
unable to follow them as they continue to run into the Seducing Woods.
Zeus appears behind them, wanting
more of the Black Ball thunderclouds. Nami offers him more in exchange for his
servitude, the cloud considering it
But Big Mom shouts to the Seducing
Woods, commanding them to attack.
King Baum manages to resist her
control, pushing through again, but Prometheus appears and falls on Baum,
burning him to ashes as the Straw Hat group narrowly escapes.
Meanwhile, Mont D’or and the others
are mobilizing their counterattack, Brulee having 10000 soldiers on standby in
the Mirror World
We see Katakuri waiting in the
Thousand Sunny, his Observation Haki still uncertain as to whether Luffy’s
group will be defeated by Big Mom or not, hoping to ambush them even if only as
a minor possibility.
Bege’s group is still fleeing,
Pudding suddenly appearing on her flying carpet and asking for Chiffon’s help.
She refuses, but the chapter ends as Pudding pleads with them, saying that she
just wants to help Sanji and his friends, her eyes genuinely sad.
Seven Deadly Sins 228
Diane begins to rampage, King and Merlin thinking
that this is different than it she was hypnotized and that there’s no easy way
to stop the vengeful spirits possessing her.
Helbram tells King it’s his fault, but we don’t
figure out why as Merlin tells everyone they need to go at Diane with the
intent to nearly kill her or it won’t go well.
King gets into between them, saying that attacking
her won’t stop the vengeful spirits.
Gowther observes that Diane’s power level is at
48000 now, warning King to get out of the way.
But King persists, crying out to Diane to fight the
hateful spirits. Diane ignores him, smashing him away, though his helmet is
seen by Gowther to have shielded him from a more dangerous blow
Escanor decides he’s had enough, punching Diane hard
in the stomach, considerate of her being female.
Diane counters immediately, Escanor ready to fight
more directly.
Gowther stops him, saying there’s no need to fight
Diane directly. He uses Invasion, stepping into her mind, where he sees that
she’s beating herself up over hurting King after they realized their feelings
for each other.
The Sin of Lust tells Diane that he understands how
much she’s suffering, holding out a hand.
But suddenly, an amorphous blob, likely the evil
spirits, wraps up Diane, saying they won’t give her up
Gowther is smashed with Diane’s hammer, seemingly
defeated as we see Merascylla observing the fight from her Dark Cocoon.
She’s surprised that Gowther’s doll is one of the
Sins, taunting Meliodas to fight her in order to help his allies.
Gowther tells the spirits he won’t let them do
whatever they want, the vengeful entities taking that as a suggestion to stab
Diane in the head with her hammer’s sharp end. Ban pulls it away with Snatch
Helbram appears, telling the evil spirits in Diane
that he killed them and that they should try to eliminate him to satisfy their
hatred and desire for vengeance.
The helmet floats near Diane, the spirits making her
crush it as Helbram bids farewell to King, telling him to take care of the
giantess.
But they still aren’t sated, Diane moving to attack
again against her will.
Suddenly, a blast of wind knocks Diane back, Ban
recognizing it as Elaine’s attack.
And the spirits are blasted out of Diane and
purified by Elizabeth’s Ark power, the chapter ending as Diane asks why they
would help her, the two saying that they’re her friends and that’s all they
need to aid her.
