be back to a regular schedule by January
Golem
Hearts 8
The Sodom arcanist and Carles are
both shocked as Noah reveals he’s a golem. But Noah ignores the insults of
their attacker, used to it
The enemy golem is enhanced with
Acceleration, ready to attack as it manifests the Porcupine Golem Art. As it
pierces Noah’s hand, the gauntlet seems to regrow and destroys the golem
breaking it into pieces
Carles asks Noah to help him,
resurrecting his golem and constricting the Sodom arcanist with Amphisbaena
(two headed serpent of Greek mythology). They press the arcanist to reveal
where the Golem’s Tear is, revealing he had it on his person
Noah remembers that they have to
help the others, but Erebus appears, saying he’ll be taking it, even if he has
to force it from Noah
Egmont says they only need one
individual for the Federation, but as we see the results of Erebus’ fight with
the other Sodom arcanist, his power is far more immense than Noah’s, creating
massive rifts in the ground from his golem’s Berserker form
Noah tells Erebus he doesn’t have
time for this, throwing the Golem’s Tear into the air and breaking it into 3
pieces. Egmont’s assistant Lotte is shocked at this, but Noah responds that
they can’t just think logically, or they’ll just be a regular arcanist
Since Noah’s aiming for the top, he
won’t do things normally. He insists that since there are 3 pieces and Carles,
Erebus and himself are here now, that means they’ve all passed.
Lotte claims that because they broke
the thing they were supposed to acquire, they fail, but Noah retorts that the
Federation arcanists can repair it with their skills.
Egmont acknowledges Noah’s resolve,
in spite of it being foolish, telling them that all 3 of them passed as the
chapter ends
Dr. Stone 41
After Ruri takes the sulfonamide,
Senkuu does a quick examination, checking her lungs with the cup he used to
give her the medicine, which is a slight shock to her. He hears something like a
whining goat, thinking there might be water on her lungs.
He notices the corpse of a rat, bringing
it to the lab for an autopsy, though Kohaku thinks that they might’ve intended
to eat it, to Gen’s disgust
Senkuu thinks that there’s an
inflammation of the lungs caused by germs from rats. The problem is that if it’s
tuberculosis, the drug isn’t guaranteed to be able to eliminate the disease.
Suika calls everyone back, Ruri
having a coughing fit that, according to Jasper, is much worse than in the
past. Turquoise blames the drugs, saying that the “sorcery” is the cause of
this problem with Ruri
But Senkuu thinks that what’s
happened is that the germ’s special ability to spread the number of infectious
bacteria, something doable by streptococcus pneumonia, meaning her disease may
be something as basic as pneumonia.
The goal now is to keep utilizing
the sulfonamide, but Kokuyou won’t have this, attacking Senkuu. Kohaku stops
him, saying she believes in Senkuu and in science, Chrome and others echoing
this sentiment
Senkuu notes that Kohaku may have
been a crucial point in Ruri’s survival, the hot water baths slowing down the
progress of the disease so she could live to be 18
Ruri’s health improves, Kokuyou
happy at this development, his oldest daughter now able to run surprisingly
fast, almost as her sister does.
Kokuyou, in gratitude to Senkuu,
declares him Ishigami Village’s chief, Senkuu shocked at the village’s name
Ruri reveals that she was aware of
this as well, Senkuu’s last name Ishigami, holding some significance that we
still don’t know with the chapter’s conclusion

Can’t Study 44
Rizu finds that she didn’t score
very well on her practice exam, disappointed that she can’t show Yuiga any
improvement
Fumino, Uruka and Asumi are all
talking about the beach, Fumino dismissing it when they bring up swimsuits.
Rizu says that her scores were E’s,
the other girls misunderstanding her and thinking she was talking about cup
sizes. They quickly fix that mix-up, Uruka and Asumi saying that Rizu should
start to understand how much influence her bust could have, since they think
men tend to focus on that
Yuiga’s tutoring Rizu that night and
he asks her about her scores, whether they’re E’s or F’s, Rizu thinking he’s
asking her bust size, which she says is actually around a G now.
This confuses her tutor, still
trying to encourage her in spite of not knowing what the grade means. But Rizu
thinks he’s still interested in her cup size, taking his words of encouragement
the wrong way, even leaping to the conclusion that he wants to grab her
breasts.
She offers them to Yuiga for him to
feel, her father angry at the situation he sees out of context.
The two go outside, Yuiga finally
being told that she was talking about test scores, to her irritation.
He says that they can still work on
this, Rizu happy that he’s not that interested in her boobs, though he does
glance over again, the chapter ending as Fumino is dismayed that Rizu has
G-cups.
Black Clover 139
Gauche asks what the Eye of the
Midnight Sun’s goons are doing here, Rades saying they came here to smash their
hideout.
The Mirror Magic attack is deflected
away by Sally’s Gel Magic. She says they’re not supposed to kill them even
though she has no interest in them, unlike Asta.
Gauche thinks to himself that the
others, Yami, Charmy, Finral and Vanessa, are all away from the base, the three
of them having to protect the base themselves
Sally injects a Dark Magic Tool into
one of Rades’ zombies, greatly enhancing its strength.
Gordon shows a form of his Curse
magic, Poison Curse: Aufwachen Dachs (Walking Badgers), which he’s able to use
fully because the enemy before him isn’t human
Grey shows off her own abilities,
managing to change the Gel magic to Crystal magic with Magic Convert, Gauche
sending his Reflect Ray through it to shatter the giant salamander
Sally is impressed at this, but
Valtos helps Rades by summoning his 0th Servant, Michael Caesar
The corpse uses two types of magic,
devastating the other zombies around him with tornadoes and thorns.
Rades reveals this corpse is made
from two different Magic Knight Captains, a force to be reckoned with, the
hideout getting holes put in it
Both Gordon and Gray remember how
they felt outcast from their families, either because of their magic being seen
as bizarre or not having self confidence.
But Yami and the other Black Bulls
accepted them as they were, the two resolved to protect their new home. Gauche
is ready to fight as well, but Rades says they can’t possibly win
Suddenly, the base seems to react to
the danger, shifting around and someone coming out of a new passage as the
chapter ends with their identity unknown, possibly another Black Bull member
Boku no Hero Academia 165
The training exercise continues,
Bakugou frustrated as the kids have taken part of his Hero costume and Camie
still not entirely understanding what to do. Present Mic and Mera tell her that
as long as it’s not too dangerous, they’re free to try whatever they think is
appropriate.
Present Mic asks the teacher what
she wants, the stressed educator explaining that the elementary school years
are essential for personality formation and they try to counsel the students
accordingly. She hopes that interacting with students who have dreams to become
Heroes may help them open up again.
Bakugou thinks that there must be a
kid that’s the boss of sorts, creating the base for their attitudes. He
suggests they find them, beat them up and show the kid how insignificant they
are, Present Mic and the others shocked at this
Inasa decides to try a different
approach, asking the kids if they want to become Heroes. Many respond
enthusiastically, and he says that if they bother the teachers, they can’t
become proper Heroes. But one of the students brings up how he’s also doing
that by making the teachers and public workers like Mera hold extra training
sessions, Inasa taken aback by this revelation
Bakugou insists that violence can be
a motivator to problem children, but Todoroki thinks there’s another way,
Bakugou remembering from the sports festival how he learned about Todoroki’s
past with his father.
Endeavor tells All Might that he’s
entrusted everything to his son. After he achieved the #2 Hero spot at the age
of 20, he realized he couldn’t reach All Might, since he wanted to be the
strongest, but couldn’t be like the Symbol of Peace
All Might says he doesn’t really
know what to say, having just wanted to be a light to inspire people and show
Villains that there was someone who wouldn’t give up. But he also admits that
he had his flaws, pushing away people who wanted to help him, shouldering the
burden on his own, such as with Nighteye.
In spite of people comparing them,
he says that they need to be recognized as two separate people. Endeavor must find
his own way, not just imitating All Might as Deku did, which caused his own
problems.
Todoroki tries his method, seemingly
showing a kind of fatherly love in Camie’s eyes, which impresses some of the
girls who were angry at her, though they quickly revert back to being jealous
He starts to explain things, but it’s
very rote and boring to the kids, since it’s stuff that’s going over their
heads in regards to his resenting his father and not getting along well with
his class initially.
Camie suggests they just show off
their Quirks to really reflect their personalities and connect with the kids
that way.
The kids seem to realize what’s
going on, remembering that their parents and people on TV have brought up their
uncertainty as to whether they can rely on Heroes. They start to bring out
their own Quirks, saying their generation will be better like their parents
claimed.
The chapter ends as Bakugou and the
others get ready to fight as well, Present Mic shocked that they had to resort
to this for grade school kids, but not saying it out loud.
One Piece 890
Everyone’s still shocked at Big
Mom’s emaciated appearance, even Perospero not having seen her like this in a
while.
The Yonkou starts to tear apart the
Sunny, but Jinbe reveals that there is no cake, which she also starts to
notice, saying she’ll kill her oldest son if it turns out to be the case.
Perospero is getting nervous, but
then Big Mom moves to attack Jinbe, saying he shouldn’t call her son a liar.
Napoleon combines with Prometheus to
utilize a technique called Cognac, setting the blade on fire.
Jinbe uses Haki, called Shark Skin
here, but even as he manages to take the blow, Big Mom pushes him back with her
own power into the ocean
As Big Mom continues to wreck the
ship, she gets near the room where Carrot is, Nami shouting for her to stop.
She attacks Nami with Napoleon, the navigator narrowly dodging.
Chopper protects Nami with Guard
Point, Big Mom impressed at his power.
The flames have started to spread to
the sails, Brooke panicking. But Jinbe uses Fishman Karate to douse the flames,
Big Mom stopped temporarily as well with Prometheus being injured by the water
Then Jinbe rushes at Big Mom, using
Fishman Karate’s ultimate technique, Vagabond Drill, pushing her off the ship,
Zeus narrowly catching her.
Jinbe tells Brooke and the others
they need to keep trying to get away, since if Perospero and the others catch
them, they’ll be doomed
Nami moves to tempt Zeus again, but
he zaps her. It turns out she used Mirage Tempo to make Brooke look like her,
immune to lightning himself.
Big Mom starts to slash at Brooke
with a longer Napoleon sword, but he shockingly asks to see her panties. This
distracts Big Mom enough that Brooke can use his swordsmanship, Notch Slash, to
cut through Zeus.
Nami releases Positive Charge Black
Balls, unleashing another massive shock into Big Mom
Prometheus catches her as we see
that Zeus is now shrunken to a much smaller size than before
Nami tells him that he should serve
them or she’ll kill him, the chapter ending as Big Mom now rides on Prometheus
to pursue.
Seven
Deadly Sins 248
We see Cusack mourning his inability to protect
Zeldris, smashing a portion of the castle with just his hand gripping it.
Chandler tells him he should just straighten himself up for the future.
But Peronia steps in, telling Cusack something in
secret that makes him decide he must leave. Chandler comments that Meliodas is
the best candidate for Demon King, the only thing making it difficult
Elizabeth’s presence
Elizabeth is begging Meliodas not to go through with
this, since him becoming Demon King could still result in Elizabeth losing her
memories and even if she didn’t, Meliodas would likely have to leave Britannia,
the sheer power of the Demon King more than the world could bear
Meliodas says that Elizabeth doesn’t need to worry
about being separated from him, claiming that her love that’s persisted through
each reincarnation has only been imprinted by the Supreme Goddess’ curse, to
Elizabeth’s shock. He says it’d be impossible for her to have loved only him
all this time
Elizabeth says that Melidoas should have just left
her if he believed that, since she’d have forgotten him anyway. But Meliodas
retorts that he can’t help but love her in every form, reverting to his
previous form, the demon markings no longer present.
He’s embraced by Elizabeth, who insists that she
fell in love with him every time through her own free will. She says they
should try to find some other way with their friends
Meliodas returns to his demonic form as he says that
he feels nothing when she embraces him now, the only thing motivating him the
promise he made to her that he would break their curse by any means necessary
As Meliodas tries to restrain her, she slaps him,
the Sin of Wrath saying that if she wants to hit him, then she can. Elizabeth
then utilizes Ark and strikes him with its power, knocking him back into a
wall, smashing it out. She prepares to attack again as she says she won’t give
up
We shift back to the Boar’s Hat, everyone worried
about the immense magical power coming their way. But Merlin is calm and
collected, saying she’ll negotiate with them, bringing out Merascylla
Zeldris is the first to arrive, not recognizing
Merlin even though she seems to know him. As she reverts to her childlike
appearance, Zeldris realizes who she is.
The chapter ends as we’re told that she’s been
blessed by the Demon King and the Supreme Goddess, someone of immense power in
the scale of the world.
Translation here says she’s the daughter of the
Demon King and Supreme Goddess, but this seems to be a mistake, since the word
used in Japanese is musume, which can mean daughter, but also just a girl in
general. Japanese says she has received a blessing from the Demon King and
Supreme Goddess, a shukufuku
