There’s reportedly a Black Clover anime special of sorts that’s coming out in March of 2017, which makes me hope that an anime adaptation is being greenlit soon. It’s a bit later than Boku no Hero, which got that announced in the late 70s-early 80s, I believe, but the popularity is a bit different, so the anime could come later for that reason

And it seems like Seven Deadly Sins is taking a similar break to World Trigger, Nakaba-sensei going into surgery of some sort, though we have a date for a return in January of 2017, so we’ll be short 2 series until either World Trigger comes back or Seven Deadly Sins with the new year.

Black Clover 89

Fanzel asks his students if they’d just retreat, but Ladros says that he’s been looking forward to getting revenge on him for deserting the kingdom. He also explains that their king is dying and since there are rumors that the Witch Queen has lived for hundreds of years, they want that secret and they’ll kill everyone to get it. Fanzel says that attitude of taking whatever you want is what made him leave the Diamond Kingdom.

He moves past Mars and Ladros, noting that they can’t be expected to attack their own allies with the power they possess, taking out the small fry with his wind based magic as they’re held back by their orders.

The groups start to increase their power to take Fanzel down, but his student, with the assistance of the witches, mounts a surprise attack. With her assassin training, she’s able to discern their formations and attack the cracks in them as they scramble to try and counter attack.

With her stone magic, she stops one of the lower generals, who mocks her as a traitor. But she says it doesn’t matter, since she wouldn’t want to disappoint Asta, who saved her from the life of a hired killer for the government.

Meanwhile, a golem that Domina manipulated unleashes a blast of light on the Diamond Kingdom mages, allowing the witches to attack them as they’re vulnerable and weakened.

Ladros notices the traps set by Domina, but moves in to destroy them.

Suddenly, Fanzel binds him with his wind magic, Landros mocking him again, saying that he can’t expect to turn them good when he was the one who trained them to be killing machines in the past.

Fanzel replies that this is why he’s going to make things right and fulfill the promise he made to Asta, slashing Ladros as he moves to stop his kingdom’s soldiers with the chapter’s end.

Boku no Hero Academia 118

Eraserhead is contacted about his 2 students being outside the dorms after curfew, but he sees someone that shocks him as we move back to Deku and Bakugou’s fight.

Deku is still trying to convince Bakugou that he’s not in the wrong here, even if they differ in some ways.

Bakugou thinks back to how Deku always stayed with him even when he threw so much abuse on him, demanding that Deku stop running away in the present. They both admired All Might, but he can’t catch up to Deku, which is still frustrating him now.

He and Deku clash, Deku managing to knock him back with an acrobatic move, utilizing his focus on kicking attacks.

As Deku tries to help Bakugou up, he slaps him away, saying that he can’t stop blaming himself for All Might losing his powers in his fight against All For One. If he’d been stronger, then he wouldn’t have been kidnapped and things might have not turned out the way they did.

Deku realizes what a burden Bakugou’s been holding onto this time and concludes that he’s the only one who can truly take on his feelings, the chapter ending as he resolves to start fighting.

Magi 330

Aladdin and Alibaba still think no one would agree with Sinbad’s idea to remake the Rukh, but the Eight Generals step in, all in agreement with their king’s plan.

The argument is still that they are thinking for the future, not just the present peace, which could fall into chaos after they have died. Sharrkan is thinking of Heliohapt’s future as someone who has recently become king, while Yamraiha is also thinking of the present and the future as things that should both be guarded from war.

With the rukh as it is, Yamraiha and the others see themselves as being enslaved by the higher ranked gods, exploiting them in the lower ranked worlds like Magnostadt did with the non magicians in the 5th District, draining their magoi for the gain of those above them.

But Aladdin claims they’re being controlled by Sinbad, though the Eight Generals say they’ve always followed Sinbad’s will regardless.

Everyone is focused on the bonds they have and hopes to fight again together after being turned into Rukh to fight against the gods that bind them into fate.

Even Jafar says he would’ve aided Sinbad in this pursuit, even though he’s been the one who kept Sinbad in check as far back as they’ve been allies.

Sinbad reveals that they’ve been broadcasting this conversation across the world.

He asks everyone their opinion as to whether they should return to the Rukh and make a better world, the people all seemingly in agreement that they will follow Sinbad’s plan.

Alibaba is despairing at the situation, though the chapter ends with Morgiana watching the broadcast, suggesting she might not be entirely affected by Sinbad’s manipulation of the Rukh from the Sacred Palace.

One Piece 849

Judge, Niji and Ichiji discuss the situation with Sanji and Pudding’s wedding, also wondering where Reiju went, which they dismiss as not important. They’ve decided they’ll have the couple live on Germa to keep Big Mom in check by having her daughter as a “hostage”, though Ichiji is concerned whether they’re planning to do the same thing.

Meanwhile, it seems that Carrot is going to be dropped into Brulee’s stew, but Chopper observes that the Carrot that’s above the cauldron is actually a frog made to look like Carrot by Brulee’s Mirror powers.

Chopper also notes some of the most dangerous people, including Randolph, Brulee, the Noble Croc and someone called Diesel.

Before they chop the rope, Carrot reveals herself, Brulee shocked at having been deceived and Carrot kicking over the boiling water onto her.

Chopper changes into his original form and then Monster Point as Carrot unleashes Electrical Luna to shock most of the group while Chopper slams Noble Croc onto the others.

Diesel tries to retreat, but Carrot’s speed catches up to him, the Brulee group defeated as Chopper plans to use the mirrors to travel around Tottland.

We shift over to Sanji being told the situation, but he’s focused on cooking for Pudding.

Meanwhile, Brooke manages to get the key, having defeated the guards in the process and insisting that he must acquire something so that Pedro’s sacrifice of being the bait won’t be in vain

But Smoothie is shocked, Brooke as well as we see that Big Mom herself has shown up to confront whoever’s trying to steal her treasure.

Shifting over to Pedro, we see he’s been cornered in the courtyard, Tamago noting that he’s put himself in a terrible situation, especially since his lifespan was reduced by 50 years by Big Mom the last time he was here, Pedro saying he doesn’t intend to return back alive, sacrificing himself to help Luffy’s group

The chapter ends as we see that Reiju has gotten injured at some point and is struggling to get somewhere.

Fairy Tail 513

Sting, Rogue, Yukino, Minerva and Kagura all meet up, Minerva apologizing to Kagura, who says she considers it all in the past, moving on from holding grudges.

The group is pretty much spent so they leave the rest to Fairy Tail, Kagura trusting in Erza’s strength.

Meanwhile, Erza and Eileen’s fight continues, Erza’s swordplay posing something of a challenge to the Scarlet Mage, but she unleashes her own powerful attacks, even seemingly manifesting a claw as she does so. Erza throws a hail of blades at Eileen, waiting for the dust to settle.

But Eileen is unscathed by the attack, merely having arranged them in a flower circle as a reward of sorts to Erza, recognizing her amazing skill in controlling her swords in such a massive counterattack.

Erza still demands to know who Eileen is, the Enchantress saying that Erza’s already started to realize, but is denying it. Wendy observes that their scents are similar as well, Eileen revealing that she is Erza’s mother.

Fairy Tail’s Sword Mage rejects such a thing, saying that she only recognizes Makarov as a parent

Eileen and Erza both resolve to fight each other as enemies regardless of the blood they may or may not share.

The chapter ends as Eileen reveals an even greater secret: that she is the former Queen of the Dragons, meaning Erza has Dragon heritage.
