One Piece is on break this week. And there's a delay on Boku no Hero Academia, so we'll cover chapters until they catch up.
Seven Deadly Sins 149
There’s a bonus chapter about Guila
and Veronica bonding through training to improve Veronica’s battle potential
listed as 145.5. Unexpected, but a fun read
The chapter proper begins as Galan
taunts Escanor, saying he’s too arrogant for a human. But the Sin of Pride
slices Galan in half at the waist as he takes his turn in the game.
Merascylla is impressed at Escanor’s
strength, but warns him that Demons won’t die so easily, Galan reattaching his
body with Hellfire.
Galan starts to use his magic,
Critical Over, Merascylla shocked as the Truth notes he wanted to wait until
his rematch with Meliodas to use it, but he has to kill this opponent now,
saying he’ll regret not killing him completely with that first attack.
Merascylla explains that Critical
Over boosts Galan’s power level to 40000, making him a berserker in terms of
power, unstoppable until his magic runs out.
Galan’s attack causes an explosion
felt miles away. Merlin notes that the power level she senses is increasing,
over 50000 already, thinking it must be Escanor.
Galan is told by Merascylla that
they should retreat, but he says he won’t stop until one of them is dead. We
see he managed to lodge his axe somewhat into Escanor’s arm, but the Sin of
Pride is otherwise unaffected.
Escanor then prepares an attack, his
axe glowing with power. But the Demon of Truth retreats, turning to stone as
the chapter ends with Escanor’s victory, disappointed he couldn’t show his true
power.
Magi 284
We see Alibaba flying with a magic
tool that Yunan gave him, since he doesn’t have Amon’s sword with him. He’s
worried about everything, still needing to see things for himself as to how
they’ve changed, and to meet Sinbad directly.
As Alibaba stops to rest in a town,
he sees people using magic carpets commonly and after asking someone about a
ship, they tell him they’re only used for goods, an airship better if you have
money.
The airship, a massive vehicle,
stuns Alibaba, who’s even more vexed by the advanced technological state of
Parthevia’s capital, looking like Magnostadt 3 years ago with even more use of
magic tools.
The chapter ends as we see even more
visuals of the radically changed city, Alibaba at the Sindria Trading Company
headquarters, amazed at the world Sinbad’s created in just 3 years.
World Trigger 121
Hyuse has realized that Galopoula
and Rhodkrhoun are getting close to Meeden, thinking that those in Aftokrator
might be trying to rescue him. Yotaro comes in, telling Hyuse he might get to
go home eventually.
Meanwhile, the Galopoula attack
force reviews their mission from Aftokrator: to stall Meeden and damage them in
such a way that they can’t go after Aftokrator. The goal is to cripple the
base, not even focusing at all on getting Trigger Users or attacking the people
beyond HQ.
The others object, but Gattlin,
their captain, says that if they did what Aftokrator already did in their
invasion, Galopoula would be targeted, since it’s closer in orbit to Meeden.
Their goal, therefore, is not to do
what Aftokrator wants and make Meeden focus on their country, but instead
sabotage them by attacking the HQ, still fulfilling their overall mission.
Yomi, the helmeted member, explains
the data Aftokrator gave them, noting that their general numbers are around 50
capable soldiers and 1-3 Black Trigger users. Even with all their Trion
soldiers, the Galopoula force thinks they’ll have a tough time, wondering why
Rhodo didn’t come as well, Gattlin saying they sent a higher amount of Trion
soldiers, about 300 total, to compensate for not having any active Neighbor
agents on their side for the mission.
The group decides they’ll do some
reconnaissance in the meantime and once Rhodokrhoun’s soldiers arrive, they’ll
start the mission proper.
We shift to Border HQ, Yuma lost.
He’s helped by Kakizaki Squad’s captain, Kuniharu, who reminds the Neighbor
that they’re one of their next opponents.
Kako Squad’s Nozomi arrives, asking
Yuma directly if he wants to join her team. But he flatly refuses, the A Rank
agent having expected that as she smirks.
Osamu gives what I believe is
supposed to be some money as gratitude for training him to Arashiyama squad.
They ask him whether he learned anything from his loss, Osamu saying that he
was too hasty in trying to score points. He says he’ll develop more team
tactics, but he still doesn’t know how to train himself.
Tokieda thinks that Osamu should
train under Kitora, the chapter ending as he reveals she’s like Osamu, not having
much Trion, but still having reached A Rank at his age.
Bleach 651
We see a flashback of Shunsui as a
child, woken up by someone he calls sister, who greatly resembles Nanao, likely
her mother.
Ex Axis starts to look for the Soul
Reapers, stretching out his face to see more. He notices the shadow where
Shunsui and Nanao are hiding, creating a blast of light to negate the shade.
Suddenly, his face is cut, Nanao
appearing with a wrapped sword as we shift back to her receiving it from
Shunsui.
She’s confused, thinking Kyoukotsu
is her Zanpakutou, Shunsui explaining that her true Zanpakutou is hidden in the
Kyoukotsu part of his Zanpakutou, Katen/Ohana creating Kyoukotsu for that
purpose.
He exposits about Nanao’s family,
only females who must marry outside the family to pass on the name to future
daughters. But any man who marries into the Ise family is said to be cursed to
die an early death, Shunsui’s older brother no exception in spite of Nanao’s
mother trying to get out of the family to avoid the curse somehow.
Nanao’s mother theorized that the
curse was based in the sword passed down through the Ise family, having to
return there after her husband died. So she asked Shunsui to hide it, the Soul
Reaper doing so with his own Zanpakutou’s power.
Lille Barro is stunned that Nanao
managed to damage him, coming from such a small shadow.
Nanao tells Shunsui in the flashback
that she is willing to accept the curse, thinking that the person she admires,
Shunsui, would regard the whole curse thing as superstition and laugh it off.
The Quincy thinks it’s pathetic that
only the Vice Captain has appeared, and that it’s impossible for her to defeat
him.
We’re told about the Ise family not
having their own Zanpakutou, only passing one down through the generations. It
has no blade, so it cannot hurt a person, but is said to be able to defeat
gods, taking their power into itself.
The chapter ends as we see Nanao
unleash the sword, indeed not having a blade, Shunsui revealing the name:
Shinken Hakkyouken: Divine Blade Eight Mirror Sword
Toriko 347
Don Slime is worried about NEO’s
possible revival, but moreso when Ika reveals he can’t find Ichiryuu’s soul
anywhere.
Komatsu’s group is preparing GOD,
Match amazed at how much strength is being drawn from him just from such a tiny
piece of meat from GOD.
As Komatsu wonders where Chako is,
his mother, in a different body, approaches him. She was killed for fertilizer,
but her cooking skills were acknowledged in the Soul World, so she was
transferred into a new body. The chef recognizes her son’s scent on Komatsu,
figuring out that he was the one who helped Chako and prepared AIR recently.
She asks Komatsu a favor, but we don’t figure out what it is as we shift
elsewhere.
The other chefs are waiting for the
Golden Cookware materials to be brought by the Gourmet Knights, Pukin coming in
and explaining that she’s figured out the flow of time for each of the Seven
Kings.
We find that Don Slime tamed pieces
of the Seven Kings, creating Camping Monsters so the Gourmet Knights can get
close and retrieve the materials. Jiji gives them 6 days of food, the Knights
saying they’ll be fine if it’s going to only take about a week.
But Pukin explains that the time of
6 days given was relative to the surface, not the actual time taken for getting
the materials from the Safe Zone monsters. Even the Giant Shell’s time flows at
1/60 the speed of the surface, every minute there accounting for only 1 second
on the surface.
The rate for the other 7 Beasts is
10x that, meaning 6 days takes around 10 years of pulling. Jiji wanted to test
the Gourmet Knights’ resolve, since this task is very intimidating with what
they’re trying to achieve. But Damala Sky thinks they can do it.
Jiji also explains that they won’t
age 10 years, similar to everyone else not aging 2 years in the Giant Shell,
except by stress, since they came from the surface.
The chapter ends as we see Don Slime
almost finished with the clone of Ichiryuu’s body, asking him where his soul
is, since he wants to share a meal with his friend again.
Fairy Tail 461
Evergreen and Bixlow are confused as to why Ichiya’s
here, the Blue Pegasus master explaining that everyone was basically walking
over him, borrowing his ship, going to Alvareth and returning home, while he
was in the background. It’s been a week since then, Ichiya still in Magnolia
because of that depression, but ready to fight all the same.
He had been fixing the ship, refueling it and such
when Alvareth attacked. He’s still irritated, not swayed by everyone’s
apologies or compliments about him helping when they were in danger.
Suddenly, Freed realizes that Wahru is still alive,
initiating some kind of attack. Ichiya is pushed out of the way as Wahru’s head
explodes.
The three managed to shield Ichiya from the blast,
losing consciousness as the Perfume Mage starts to weep at their emotions and
willing to protect him.
We shift to the south of Magnolia, where Dimaria is
annoyed at a new member of the 12 Spriggan, Wahl Icht, who was behind Wahru’s
creation, a doll that he didn’t think could’ve succeeded in his invasion. He
laughs hysterically at how Azir, Brandish and Wahru were defeated by Fairy
Tail. Dimaria’s amused at Azir being defeated and Brandish’s capture by Fairy
Tail.
But Wahl isn’t amused at Fairy Tail making light of
them, summoning a giant gun that he plans to fire at the guild, which Dimaria
thinks is impossible, since it’s 400 km away. He says he won’t be insulted by
the likes of her, unleashing the blast, as he claims he’s the master of Machina.
The blast is nearing Magnolia at rapid speed,
everyone panicking.
But suddenly, Ichiya pilots Christina, the ship they
used in their missions before, to intercept the blast.
He tells Fairy Tail that it isn’t just their fight
as he contacts the other guilds, including Sabretooth, Lamia Scale, Quatro
Puppy and Mermaid Heel, the chapter ending on this revelation.
