World Trigger and Magi are likely going to be delayed until next week.

Boku no Hero Academia 68

Shigaraki tells Black Mist to teleport the two visitors away, but he responds that their broker recommended them, so they can’t be weak fighters.

The pair introduces themselves, the girl called Himiko Touga, wanted for a series of killings, the patchwork man calling himself Dabi, both of them idolizing Stain for different reasons.

Shigaraki resents them speaking so highly of Stain, moving to attack, But as they all strike, Black Mist creates portals to stop them from landing any blows, telling his superior that they need to expand their numbers to accomplish their goals.

All For One’s apprentice leaves in frustration, Black Mist telling Himiko and Dabi that they’ll have a response soon, his master likely discerning enough to realize what they must do for his ideals.

Back at Yuuei, the failing students are worried about their missing the summer camp. But Aizawa comes in, revealing that everyone’s going, explaining that those who failed need it the most, since the whole point was to push everyone to create new strategies with challenging situations.

However, the ones who failed will still have supplemental lessons at the training camp, so it’s not a complete deception on his part.

Everyone’s looking at the packing list, Hagakure suggesting that they go shopping as a group on their day off.

The next day has everyone splitting up, since they need different things. Deku and Ochako are left alone, but she leaves, still flustered about Aoyama suggesting she likes him.

The chapter ends as Deku is approached by someone who feigns being impressed with his accomplishments, revealing himself as Shigaraki Tomura and telling him they need to talk about something important.

Seven Deadly Sins 151

Diane attempts the dance, but Matrona and some children say she’s terrible, the Sin of Envy getting angry at them for a bit. Her mentor says the children are like her own, though their real mother died, implied to be Dolores with their blonde hair.

The man in question, Zarupa, helped Matrona when she was heavily wounded at some point, coincidence having it that he was spared by Diane back when they were fighting his tribe as mercenaries. Matrona thinks it was Diane’s kindness that enabled her to be where she is now.

But she’s still confused about Diane’s memory loss, since this is the second time she’s returned to the giant’s homeland as an amnesiac, the first time after she was hanging out with King. She also wonders about the monsters that attacked her, Diane reliving the trauma in her mind and becoming distressed.

Matrona notes how powerful they were, wondering about Diane’s status and why they were pursuing her, since Matrona said it took all of her power to escape. But her student wants to resume the dancing practice, not willing to face her past.

As they begin, Matrona emphasizes that the Droll Dance is sacred to the giants, something that brought great joy to those who saw it. She notes that her student must become one with the earth in her dancing, appreciating it and growing a deeper connection in doing so.

Diane practices on her own, wondering about what she’s doing wrong, but moreso about her past, not recognizing her tattoo or the clothes she’s wearing, or even her hammer, Gideon.

Suddenly, a mysterious demonic being flies over her, seemingly stirring some memories in the giantess as she holds a piece of paper it dropped among many others.

Meliodas’ group finds a flier for a Fighting Festival in Byzel, which happened in the past with the group ending it with a fight against Holy Knights and nearly destroying it with Diane’s Sacred Treasure, Gideon.

The others think it might be a trap, but the Sin of Wrath thinks it’s their best bet to find clues about the Ten Commandments, since Escanor left them abruptly.

We see the being flying back to 2 of the Ten Commandments, having sent out the fliers everywhere, including where Diane was, meaning she knows of the tournament as well. One of the 4 is missing, suggesting it was found by someone and killed.

The chapter ends as the smaller one, surrounded by tentacles, says this idea is better to find souls as well as Meliodas, whom she has a history with.

Bleach 653

We flashback to Shunsui’s brother getting one of the 2 hairpins that Nanao’s mother had. She says this is so she can be inspired by knowing that someone else has something she’s also wearing while she’s protecting Soul Society.

Shunsui is making a smug face, his brother hitting him in jest. He notes how he might appear to have mellowed out to his younger brother, but he says that’s because of how kind Nanao’s mother is and that it’s manifest in his own behavior as well.

In the present, Nanao has been pushed back by Lille’s attack, cut by it on the leg. She’s panicking, never having held a sword and never fought so directly.

But Shunsui calms her by placing his hand over hers, Nanao noting how he’s always supported her, resolving to support him as well and work together to end this fight.

The Ex Axis releases a Trompete, essentially an angel’s trumpet and blows it to finish off his opponents.

But the attack is reflected back on him, the chapter ending as he realizes the power of the blade and continues to call the Soul Reapers arrogant for trying to attack a god, destroyed for good this time.

One Piece 808

Jack’s arrival has thrown the country into chaos, the pirate’s request for Raizou still confusing them as one of his subordinates, Sheepshead, taunts them.

He introduces his captain as one of the 3 Calamities, serving under Kaidou in his crew, Jack the Drought.

But as one of the older Mink tells them they don’t know where Raizou is, the crew starts to attack, not distinguishing between the elderly or children, everyone a target for their assault.

One of the crew members, Ginrummy, notes that their focus is to get Raizou and not to split hairs like Sheepshead does about Raizou being a ninja and not a samurai.

The Mink show that they aren’t weaklings, even the children able to defend themselves against the first onslaught with the similar electrical attack that Carrot used. But Jack refuses to give up or even negotiate, sending out stronger forces that push forward with more monstrous transformations.

Wanda notes that they had no idea how they’d gotten there or why they thought Raizou was there. Luffy speaks out in spite of Brook’s warning, saying that this likely means that the ninja Kinemon was with isn’t there, provoking an attack from some of the Minks.

Brook covers his captain by saying they were worried about the injured, the insult forgotten as they get to where Duke Inuarashi is, Luffy still a bit beaten up.

We meet one of the Musketeers that are the strongest protectors of the Duke, similar to the Guardians for the Cat Viper King. Sicilian is a Lion type Mink, very serious about everything, insisting that no one speak about nice things in front of him, like flowers or children.

He shows his gratitude with a deep prostration as they meet the Duke, who thanks them for saving his country.

Luffy thinks he must be strong, but Inuarashi says they can’t compliment him after he was defeated.

The chapter ends as we find that the only reason they lost was because of a weapon that Jack used from Caesar, a poison gas weapon.

Toriko 349

Komatsu enters through the Food Spirit Gate, his “appetite” drawn out forcefully in a way that seems somewhat traumatic to his mind.

Don Slime notes that Komatsu’s appetite is small compared to the massive forces in the Soul World.

Meanwhile, Jiji and Rin are moving everyone’s bodies to a protective area, so that Food Spirits don’t possess them. Jiji explains to Rin that the bodies without appetite are essentially dead, even though they still are living in a basic sense, since the Gourmet Cells and the like are inactive.

The group meets Soul Reviver Ika, who starts to explain to them about how to Revive Souls.

Komatsu is still in shock at the experience he’s having in the Soul World, everything vastly different in how he perceives it, especially time and space. The only thing he’s certain about is that the Food Spirits are aware of him being a chef.

He wonders why there are so many Food Spirits here, Don Slime explaining that the food Whale King Moon eats comes out here, as his stomach is connected to the Soul World. The meals becomes Food Spirits and this draws other Food Spirits here as well.

Komatsu sees a weak spirit floating around, Don Slime telling him that souls without Gourmet Cells start to lose all memories and form the longer they’re in the Soul World, explaining why Chako’s mother was starting to lose her recollections about her son.

But the same rule applies to even those with strong appetites over time, it seems. Komatsu starts to forget why he came here, experiencing a massive change in scenery as he sees the others trying to cook Spirit Food, also seeing the Gourmet Cell demons, including Toriko’s Blue and Red. Chiyo seems to have encountered her son’s flickering soul, while another chef is overwhelmed by how many Food Spirits are demanding food.

He still can’t recall why he’s here, but Red and Blue tell him that it’s for everyone to eat together. The Gourmet Cell Demon’s face changes to Toriko’s, reminding Komatsu of his friend.

This encourages him to take on the challenge of the myriad Food Spirits that appear before him, demanding food.

The chapter ends as Don Slime sees what appears to be ANOTHER coming towards them, shocked at how fast it’s appeared before them.

Fairy Tail 463

There was a Christmas special chapter that was a fun experience of the King Game, Erza feeling left out with the other people being paired up (Gajeel/Levy, Natsu/Lucy and Gray/Juvia), trying to get people to do risqué things under the pretense of the game, but failing, even ending up naked in front of her love interest Jellal as the chapter ends with them returning home together.

Gray insists that everyone needs to go after Natsu, but Erza stops him, saying they need to trust him, since he mentioned he had an ace to use against his sworn enemy.

The Ice Mage thinks the Sword Queen is putting too much trust in the Flame Dragonslayer, Erza wondering if he’s lost faith in his friend.

Lucy breaks them up, asking Mavis what they should do. The First thinks they should let Natsu do this, since if he takes out Zeref, it will significantly change the battle’s flow in their favor.

Charle also reminds Gray that Natsu isn’t alone; he has Happy with him.

The pair flies towards a massive army, looking like a giant black carpet. Natsu starts assaulting the army, which tries to fight back. As they start to overwhelm him with magic blasts from spears, he unleashes Roar of the Blaze Dragon King, which creates a massive scar in the landscape.

Zeref appears in a mass of black energy, revealing that Natsu only managed to take out 973 soldiers, still leaving over 900,000.

The chapter ends as Natsu and Zeref square off, Natsu indicating he’s going to end this once and for all.

WSR 11-16-15

Disclaimer: These aren’t official translations, merely scanlations. Buy localized or original manga to support the author if at all possible. Know the difference between piracy/theft and sharing without personal profit.

Hopefully we’ll catch up with Boku no Hero Academia. And because of a sudden illness, Daisuke Ashihara’s World Trigger will be delayed, though we may still get it next week in an early scanlation rather than Viz’s release.

Boku no Hero Academia 67

We see Rikido and Kirishima fighting Cementoss, unable to really fight against his constant walls that he builds up. Rikido’s Quirk, Sugar Rush (or Sugar Dope depending on translation), is finally explained. For every 10 grams of sugar he consumes, he quintuples his strength for 3 minutes. But conversely, his cognitive capacity is affected the more he uses it, making him slowly dumber.

Iida and Ojiro’s team managed to get through in spite of the difficulty with their footing against Power Loader’s Quirk that apparently keeps creating holes.

Ochako and Aoyama’s fight against No. 13 is mostly troubling because of his suction keeping them from escaping through the gate. Aoyama transfers some of his power into his knees, firing a laser that No. 13 absorbs with his Black Hole Quirk.

Ochako’s trying to think, Aoyama discerning this and suggesting she likes Deku, since she’s relied on him in the past. Her embarrassment causes her to let go, but she manages to hit No. 13, seemingly disrupting his Quirk.

It’s announced that Hagakure and Shoji won against Snipe, the only 3 remaining teams being Kaminari and Ashido against Nedzu; Kirishima and Sato against Cementoss and Mineta and Sero against Midnight. It’s possible the first 2 could still win, but Mineta’s given up, considering Midnight’s allegedly one of the strongest Heroes around, alongside All Might.

We find out Midnight’s Quirk is an aroma she emits that puts people to sleep. Mineta is still retreating, the Somnabulist user guarding the gate.

Recovery Girl tells Deku that they all need solid goals beyond even being a Hero to overcome the challenges UA will present to them, Mineta being honest that he just wants to touch girls and be cool, one very crude goal and the other simple, but concrete in his mind.

Ochako’s team manages to win, Uravity instinctively using her training from Gunhead to disable No. 13 and handcuff him.

Mineta is still panicking, thinking that his goal was silly in hindsight, not getting any girls as a Hero. Midnight catches up to him, whipping him as she admits that her sadistic tendencies are coming out with his retreating in fear.

Grape Juice thinks to himself that Heroes aren’t cool for being Heroes, they’re cool to begin with and becomes Heroes as a result. He explains that he did all this as part of a strategy, wanting to be cool in front of the Hero he admired.

With his resolve stronger, he uses Sero’s tape to bind his mouth, rushing at Midnight, who thinks he’s in a worse situation, suffocating to avoid her scent. But he throws out his sticky balls at her, keeping her stuck by her whip as he rushes through the gate, ending his challenge.

The training concludes, Kaminari/Ashido and Kirishima/Sato failing as we shift to the League of Villains.

The chapter ends with 2 new villains, one with an almost undead feel to him, the other a creepy almost yandere girl, who’s excited to join Shigaraki’s group.

Seven Deadly Sins 150

Escanor is surprised at the law of the Ten Commandments applying to even the ones who initiate it, but moreso at how Demons can fear death.

He gives Merascylla an option to run, Ban warning him about her power. But it’s too late as she initiates the Cocoon of Darkness, pulling out Escanor’s soul.

She consumes it, but is overwhelmed by great heat soon afterwards, vomiting out Escanor’s power, the Sin appearing afterwards as he explains that this is a result of his Sunshine ability, the demon’s flaming body falling into the cliff.

Escanor tells Ban he has something to talk to him about, but they should wait until night when he calms down, leaving to expend his power.

Elaine seems to be dying, but Jericho says that since she still regrets not spending more time with Ban, she’ll live for a while longer due to the magic.

Escanor introduces himself formally to Jericho that night in his weaker form, asking Ban about where Meliodas and the others are. But the Sin of Greed doesn’t know, thinking they’re moving around since the Ten Commandments were unsealed.

Before he rejoins the Sins, Escanor says he must finish the last task given to him as a bar master: delivering some alcohol in a few days.

We shift scenes after Elaine is overwhelmed with happiness as King and Oslo appear, having likely followed Ban.

Diane watches Matrona dance, a particular dance only passed down to the head of the clan, telling her mentor it might’ve been better if she’d learned to dance instead of fight. Matrona tells her she can stop fighting now, telling her student she will be a dancer from now on, the chapter ending on this revelation.

Diane losing her memories seems to be creating a great deal of chaos, as well as bringing suspicion on Matrona.

Magi 285

Alibaba talks to the receptionist at Sindria, but is told that Sinbad is booked up for 8 months. He’s thrown out, meeting someone from the Imuchakk tribe who’s talking to someone about the release of a new model and how she has to go there personally to see about it.

She’s shocked to see Alibaba, thinking he was dead. It’s Piprika, Hinahoho’s younger sister. She works under Jafar as a secretary, needing to tell him something with a device that confuses Alibaba, since anything like a phone or such would be entirely foreign to him.

She talks to Jafar, adjusting his schedule so Alibaba can meet him, which stuns everyone, since he’s likely very hard to get a hold of with his duties under Sinbad.

Even Jafar is shocked, since everyone thought he was dead. Alibaba explains how he got here, Jafar noting how Sharrkan and Yamraiha were both broken up over his passing, not even seeing his body.

Jafar tells Alibaba he managed to set up an appointment with Sinbad for 30 minutes, Piprika stunned at Jafar doing this, though he uses the same line she did, emphasizing that it’s easy for them to alter the schedule of someone that they’re the right hand of.

The chapter ends as they go up an elevator, meeting Sinbad, who’s as frightened as the others at seeing someone that was reported dead for years.

World Trigger 122

We’re told that Kitora originally progressed as a Gunner, using Scorpion later. But she’s regarded as Arashiyama squad’s ace, since she really knows how to fight in a team.

Kitora flatly rejects the offer, thinking Osamu doesn’t have that kind of potential. She also notes that she’s increased her Trion to average levels, suggesting that one can somewhat increase potential over time with training.

She notes that he needs to have a solid and realistic goal, just trying to be chosen for the away squad to the Neighborhood too much. Kitora thinks Osamu could manage with 2 years of training, achieving skills that could match the top B Rank agents.

If Osamu tries to shift away from that initial purpose, Kitora claims that he’s not facing reality. He needs to train instead of distracting himself with strategizing with the team in order to somehow compensate for his lack of skill in her view.

Osamu asks if she thinks there’s a way he can improve, Kitora replying that she doesn’t have to tell him. She brings up a story about Ninomiya asking Izumi to be his mentor in spite of Ninomiya already being considered the #1 Shooter at the time and having a high amount of Trion.

Osamu begs her, Kitora saying she’ll give him a 15 minute lecture at most.

Her training will focus on the Spider, a Trigger that she’s had custom built into her Gunner Trigger. The version Osamu’s using functions with a cube form, directed by arrows to fire wires that lodge into the wall.

It’s good for obstructing enemy movement and the appearance of the wires can be changed, with Operator support to be near invisible. If you can get the situation just right, it works, but Kitora notes it’s very difficult, her only success that we’ve seen being when she was fighting against Yoneya early on in the series.

Osamu wonders why Kitora’s suggesting it, Arashiyama’s ace explaining that traps are best used to psych out the opponent, distracting them so that their teammates can score points.

The fact that buildings and such are static means Osamu can plan more precisely and even if he’s eliminated, he can set up traps to disrupt the opponent’s movements in the future parts of the match.

We conclude with Osamu thinking that with this in mind, he can do well in the next match, the others preparing in their own ways.

Bleach 652

Lille Barro is confused at Nanao’s sword, the Soul Reaper explaining that it reflects the power of whatever god it is facing. This means that it’s diffusing the light that the Ex Axis is emanating, though he doesn’t seem to understand what that means, focusing more on being called a god.

As Nanao rushes forward to attack, we flashback to her overhearing the discussion between Shunsui and her mother. He says he cannot accept the sword, but she tells him that it won’t affect him and she can only trust him with this task.

Nanao remembers the first time she distinctly saw Shunsui when she was still in the academy, recognizing the kimono he wore as similar to her mother’s, as well as the hairpins he wore. She’s later accepted into the 8th squad, congratulated by an elderly couple that adopted her after her mother’s passing, related to the Ise clan in some manner.

From the beginning, Nanao’s major talent was kidou and without a Zanpakutou of her own, she thought she’d be best suited to the Kidou Corps. But after she was approved to the 8th squad, she noticed Shunsui had removed his hairpins and changed his haori, thinking that he must be the one her mother spoke to all those years ago.

Nanao almost lands a blow on Lille, but he parries it away, still losing his arm in the process.  He prepares to finish her off as he mocks her sword having no blade and saying that he cannot let his guard down now.

We flash back to Shunsui being told that Nanao’s mother was executed for giving away the sacred sword of the Ise clan, Shunsui remembering that he took the hairpins his brother gave him as a keepsake as well, everyone who entrusts something to him dying.

But now that Nanao has taken the burden from him of keeping the Ise clan’s Zanpakutou, Shunsui wishes to protect her. The chapter ends as he appears behind Nanao, ready to support her in the battle.

One Piece 807

We see Kinemon’s group is struggling to progress, while Luffy’s group is feasting with the Minks, who are especially touchy feely, called Minkship (a pun on skinship), which is their way of showing gratitude.

Brook appears, apologizing to Luffy for what happened to Sanji. He explains that they shouldn’t use the words samurai or Wano Kingdom on Zou, since it would create hostility from the Mink. They’re still unclear about where Kinemon is, though they tell Brook they’re heading towards Zou.

Momo has locked himself in his room, not comfortable with the Minks, though also likely because he’s from Wano Kingdom, among other things, like the revelation that they eat only the meat of things without fur, like lizards.

The canine Minks love Brook, calling him a corpse out of affection and even biting his body, since it’s made of bones.

Nami’s still worried about Sanji, though Zoro notes that he at least sent a letter, evidently not captured, but having left on his own.

Everyone’s still trying to wrap their head around the situation, thinking the Minks would’ve been hostile towards them, but quite the opposite has happened.

Robin asks Nami to explain what happened in the last 11 days to them in detail.

We start where they left off in the Dressrosa arc: Nami’s group had encountered Big Mam’s flagship, along with Bege, head of the Capone Gang, who had allied with the Yonkou.

Instead of fighting them directly, Sanji suggests they fight on the stern to distract them

Combining their efforts, the group uses Caesar as a bag to hold the souls that Brook summons with his newly developed powers post-time skip, Chopper throwing him at Sanji, who then ignites the Gas Man with his flaming kick.

The explosion distracts the crew while Nami creates Rain Tempo with her Clima Tact, generating fog and mist so they’re able to escape unseen.

They managed to get to Zou the next day, already close to it. But Robin observes that the city had signs it was damaged earlier than 10 days ago.

Wanda concurs, saying that the appearance of Nami’s group was what saved them from greater crisis in the wake of destruction they had already experienced. If it weren’t for their intervention, everyone likely would have died in the Mokomo Kingdom.

Suddenly, we’re told that the Duke of the Kingdom has awakened, asking to see the saviors of his country.

Wanda notes that there are 2 kings of the country: that of day, Inuarashi (Dog Storm), who is the one that regained consciousness, and that of night, Nekomamushi (Cat Viper).

It was about half a month ago, over a month since Bepo’s crew had arrived. Instead of the Bell of Welcome, the Raid Bell was rung, a group of invaders seeking Raizou of Wano Kingdom, the chapter ending on this revelation as we see what is likely Jack, using a Zoan Devil Fruit in the form of a Mammoth.

Toriko 348

The Gourmet Knights return, everyone amazed at how exhausted they are from the intense task given to them.

The others prepare themselves for the equally difficult tasks leading up to ANOTHER’s presentation.

Kuriboh is using his hands, pressing the materials against a gold foundation to slowly mold them into the Golden Cookware. With the help of Maymay’s Warp Kitchen, Kuriboh is able to utilize all the time he needs, which would otherwise take weeks or months for the process to complete.

Meanwhile, Asarudy explains that eating Acacia’s meat dish, NEWS, is what allows them to generate artificial Back Channels. But he says that the ingredient has no flavor, only able to be experienced by those who have the disposition. He compares it to a table and chairs made of wood being food to a termite, because they can process the cellulose in the materials.

ANOTHER is what allows the Gourmet Cells to recognize new tastes, which follows to one being able to taste NEWS’ previously unknown flavor, since ANOTHER unlocks the tongue of the Gourmet Demon.

Jiji enters, saying that the other ingredients have been prepared, including GOD, which Komatsu had heard the voices of as he completed the ingredients.

Komatsu and Chako meet, the boy confused as to where his mother is. Komatsu tells him that she’s elsewhere, preparing more important food. He promises Chako that they’ll eat the Full Course together when it’s complete.

Everyone has gathered to enter the Soul Kitchen, Kaka already inside preparing for ANOTHER as well. Jiji and Meyl will stay behind to finish the basics of the Full Course.

The chapter ends as the chefs all arrive at the Food Spirit Door, ready to enter the unknown world where only their appetites and minds will remain once they proceed.

Fairy Tail 462

Everyone’s happy, but Makarov reminds them that they still have the threat of Alvareth from the other 3 sides of Magnolia.

Mavis is disappointed that she has to depend on the others, not wanting to trouble them. But Laxus reminds her that this is a problem for the whole continent, though his focus is to get revenge for Freed and the others.

Warren proceeds to explain the battle situation as we shift to Brandish, her magic kept in check by sealing stones.

Lucy and Cana stop Macao and Wakaba from borderline sexually harassing Brandish, Lucy asking the Spriggan what her connection to Layla, her mother, is. But Brandish refuses, saying that they should just kill her while they have the chance.

We see Marin preparing to sneak in, apparently only knocking unconscious when Lucy smashed the vial that contained his shrunken form.

Winter reports the loss of Brandish and Azir, Zeref noting that they’re not dead, which is Fairy Tail’s major weakness against his cruelty.

Warren notes that the eastern attack force has stopped after taking control of the country of Bosco, while the northern group is being faced by Blue Pegasus and Sabretooth, the south covered by Mermaid Heel and Lamia Scale.

Fairy Tail thinks they need to go and support them, Mavis sending the 3 Strauss siblings along with Gajeel, Levi and Pantherlily to the north, while Gray, Juvia, Wendy, Charle, Laxus and Natsu are going to the south, but the Fire Dragonslayer is nowhere to be found. Erza volunteers to go in his place, though some are worried about her injuries.

Lucy and Cana will guard Brandish, the other members tasked with protecting the guild itself.

The western attack force is the slowest, Mavis theorizing Zeref is with them, which they’ll focus all their attempts on once the other 3 battles are concluded.

But with the eastern force being their biggest threat at present, Mavis sends the 4 Wizard Saints, Jura replacing Serena as the last member they have.  They feel responsible for the war, especially with one of their numbers betraying them, facing off the major enemies that lie before them.

Fairy Tail manages to locate Natsu, shocked as they discover he’s heading right for Zeref, the Fire Dragon Slayer saying that he has to finish this fight now with his sworn enemy as the chapter ends.
