Naruto 700 +6
Sasuke knocks away the blades thrown by
the mysterious figure with Sharingan imbedded in his body, but they reach at
him, Sasuke slashing their hand with his blade. But it turns out they were
holding Sasuke immobile so Shin could attack.
The Uchiha then uses his Rinnegan to
teleport past them, then unleashing his signature Fire Release move, Great
Fireball. The unnamed Sharingan user then seems to use his Sharingan to pull
Shin in the path of the fireball, protecting him from damage.
The Akatsuki leader, revealing himself
as Uchiha Shin as well, says that now that he knows the power of Sasuke’s eyes,
he wants to use them to revive Akatsuki. Sasuke responds that they’ll draw the
info out of him by keeping him here.
Naruto figures out from Sarada that
Shin referred to this Shin as his father, so he used his own son as a shield.
Sasuke tells Naruto to get the kids out
of here, Naruto agreeing, waiting for an opening.
Shin uses his Sharingan, seemingly
moving the sword out of Sasuke’s hands to stab Naruto.
The group figures out that Shin took
the moment when he grabbed Sasuke’s katana to put some mark on it and use his
Sharingan’s ability to manipulate weapons freely.
As Naruto unleashes Kurama’s chakra,
Shin manipulates the tiny blades to target Sarada. Sasuke takes the blades as
Shin speaks about peace and how it halts progress of humanity.
Sasuke finds the blades have restricted
his movement somehow, Shin summoning more from his cloak.
But Sakura suddenly appears, punching
Shin with all her might to protect the two. She demands to know what’s going
on, Sasuke saying they were trying to figure that out.
Naruto uses Kurama’s chakra to grab the
two Shins, Kurama commenting that such a blow with a blade won’t kill him, but
that he’s gotten soft in these years after the war.
Sakura says she wanted to sit Sarada
down and talk to her, but Sasuke says it’s his responsibility, not hers, since
he’s been away all this time.
But the tiny Juubi monster appears,
saying he’ll take these two away, Sakura caught in the area of effect and taken
with them. Shin kills one of the Shin clones when they arrive at their hideout
as we shift back to Naruto’s group.
They’re impressed at their use of space
time ninjutsu, Naruto saying he really has gotten weaker.
The chapter ends as we see Sakura is
being forced under threat of the blades by Shin to perform a transplant of one
of the Shin clones’ organs.
Boku no Hero Academia 44
The awards ceremony starts this
chapter, Bakugou furious, trying to get at anyone, but restrained while they
start the event. Iida had to leave because of his brother’s situation, Tokoyami
taking his place in 3rd.
All Might arrives to hand out the
medals. He commends Tokoyami, telling him he should train himself as well as
his Quirk to get better overall.
Todoroki is also complimented, though
the Fire and Ice user says he still has things to sort out in order to seek out
his goal of becoming a Hero.
Bakugou tells All Might that even if
society acknowledges this win, the Explosion Quirk user cannot accept it in his
own mind. All Might responds that he’s certainly made an impression on people
and he’ll be constantly evaluated, so he doesn’t have to worry about people
just having one perception of him as a Hero.
All Might concludes by saying that
everyone here deserves praise, even those who lost in the initial rounds, all
the Heroes doing their best and supporting each other in the competition.
Aizawa tells everyone they’ll be
getting a break from class for the next few days and that he’ll prepare the
nominations for when they return.
We find out Iida’s brother is fine,
recovering after the attack with medical help. He apologizes to his family
about losing, thinking he’s dishonored them in some way.
Meanwhile, Shouto is heading to meet
his estranged mother after all these years, not telling his father, only
confiding in his older sister. He thinks that he has to talk to his mother to
really gain his full resolve to become a Hero and get things straight with her
and his father.
Elsewhere, Ochako is going home, but
finds her parents have come to surprise her.
Deku is with his mom, who was so
excited, she fainted multiple times during the festival while she was watching.
He thinks to himself that he has to
find a new method to train, since everyone is worried about him in the overuse
of his Quirk. The chapter ends on this resolve, as well as a brief panel of
Bakugou furiously brushing his teeth to take out his frustration.
World Trigger 104
We’re told that the next match for
Tamakoma-2 will be in about a week, so they have time to rest and strategize in
the meantime.
Yuma and Rindo are leaving for HQ
because Kido needs to use Yuma’s Side Effect for a bit. Osamu tags along,
discovering they’re taking Hyuse with them as well.
Rindo comments on how Hyuse thought of
the same strategy as Osamu, noting how they seem alike in some ways.
Hyuse has deduced that they’re trying
to get information out of him, though when they get there, Hyuse refuses to
answer any questions related to Aftokrator.
Kinuta tells him they’ll use any means
necessary, since human law doesn’t apply to Neighbors.
Shinoda cautions against this, asking
Yuma how the Neighborhood treats prisoners. Yuma responds that they usually
interrogate multiple people and corroborate their statements. Asking one person
usually results in useless info even under duress.
But Kido notes that they can tell if
he’s lying with Yuma’s Side Effect, which is why they brought him.
Shinoda tells Hyuse that they don’t
entirely blame him for the loss of life in the invasion, since he was just
obeying orders.
He notes that Mira, from her behavior
when she killed Enedora, was planning to do that from the start, suggesting the
unit wasn’t entirely in agreement on everything, or some people were out of the
loop.
Shinoda suggests that they could show
him the evidence of the seeming plans of the higher ups regarding a plan to
abandon Enedora and Hyuse, but the Neighbor responds that he’s still loyal to
his country, ready to die when he started the mission.
The interrogation is concluded, Yuma
going with Kinuta to help him with something.
Kikuchihara tells Osamu that the match
yesterday showed that he was overly reliant on Yuma and Chika, unable to score
a single point himself.
Meanwhile, we find out that HQ made a
deal with Tamakoma, using Yuma’s ability in exchange for letting Tamakoma
decide what to do with Hyuse as a prisoner.
The chapter ends as we see that a Rad
has been preserved and Enedora’s Trion has been injected into it, Yuma
apparently expected to interrogate him as well.
Seven Deadly Sins Diane Gaiden Part 2
Diane and Matrona arrive at another
battle, meeting Gannon from Liones. The giantess asks if Meliodas is in his
order, but Gannon regards him as unworthy of any recognition.
Matrona asks where the savages they’re
to fight are, Gannon explaining that they’re hiding with a sorcerer’s power.
Some of the soldiers tease Diane,
saying she should be careful not to get in their way, Diane saying they ought
to direct their complaints to Matrona.
Matrona warns Diane not to let her
emotions get in the way of her fights or she’ll die, Diane reminding her of
Dolores’ death.
Some of the knights hear a sound in the
distance, Matrona using her earth manipulation to send a huge pillar of stone
into the air. She jumps towards a second sound from a different direction,
smashing into the ground.
But it’s a pitfall trap, Gannon’s power
of Hollow Sound allowing them to distract her. He thinks with this, he can go
up many ranks in Liones’ Holy Knights. However, Matrona appears, having altered
the earth to protect her.
The army starts firing giant arrows at
Matrona and Diane, hoping to hit them.
Matrona realizes something about one of
the arrows that got through, Diane using Heavy Metal to protect herself. But
Matrona blocks the attack, Gannon revealing it has deadly venom that could even
take down a dragon, already affecting the giantess.
Diane tries to keep Matrona alive, but
her mentor is dying. She reveals she was tasked by Diane’s parents to raise the
younger giantess to become a strong woman. But she was only trained to fight,
Matrona knowing nothing else to teach her apprentice.
The knights try to mount a final
assault, but in her final moments, Matrona protects Diane by killing most of
them, the remaining troops fleeing. Matrona
tells Diane to train so she can become stronger.
But instead of just telling the kingdom
about the danger, they frame Diane for the murder of Matrona and the 330
knights that Matrona killed in self defense. Meliodas stops the execution,
saying that King Bartra has ordered that she be taken into the Sin of Wrath’s
care as the Sin of Envy as the gaiden concludes.
One Piece 789
People are
still trying to keep the Birdcage at bay, King Riku and Captain Tank also
joining in to help. Riku thanks everyone for their contributions, having saved
many lives.
As they
continue, we see Violet is failing to hold back Doflamingo, who’s nearly killed
her. The String Man controls Violet and Rebecca, making the Glare Glare user’s
niece move to slash and kill her immobile form.
Everyone’s
still persisting, Gatz encouraging them through a loudspeaker system. The
people initially brush him off, but he reminds them of Luffy’s performance in
the coliseum, fighting with great strength he had never seen before, taking
down legends.
He reveals
that Lucy is actually Luffy, infamous pirate. Even Riku considers him a hero
for the people, their only salvation in this time of peril. Gatz taunts
Doflamingo, saying Luffy promised to defeat him in one blow.
Suddenly, the
warriors healed by Mansherry’s Dandelixir (a better translation than
Dandehealion) are now reverting to their damaged state.
Mansherry
weeps, saying she has taken away hope, but Kabu assures her that she saved many
by healing them when she did.
The countdown
of ten seconds draws closer to the conclusion, Gatz stabbed by Doflamingo and
everyone trying their best to keep Birdcage at bay.
Viola is
about to be attacked by Rebecca, but Luffy, having recovered, stops the attack
and turns to face Doflamingo as the chapter ends.
No One Piece
next week, but we’ll be getting a nice final battle for our waiting.
Bleach 629
We’re
reminded of the significance of this palace to the Quincy, a new world from
which they can start their future endeavors. Haschwalth says that they will
achieve total genocide against their enemies to christen this new kingdom.
Kisuke’s
group is astounded at the size, but persist and move to make their assault.
Shunsui
notices Mayuri isn’t with them. We see that the 12th division captain and Nemu
split off from them and are going to investigate some coordinates Mayuri
discovered.
But Zaraki
and his group, along with Hanatarou, found him, commenting that being separated
from the others makes it easier for them to fight without worries. Kenpachi
managed to get through the gate because of Mayuri’s scheming, coming back after
relieving himself to find that everyone had gone through already.
The two start
to clash, Mayuri regarding everyone else as below him and Kenpachi resenting
that he’s being lumped together with them.
Meanwhile,
Ichigo’s group is heading to the palace as well, Ichigo sort of like Yuushirou
in trying to make footholds and almost falling. The group thinks they should
meet up with Shunsui and the others to act as a single unit.
Grimmjow says
they shouldn’t do that, since they’ll be spotted easier, heading off on his
own.
Askin Nakk Le
Varr sees Grimmjow and is attacked by him, Ichigo noting that they’ve lost any
element of surprise now.
The chapter
concludes as we see Bazz B, Liltotto and Giselle near the entrance to the
Wahrwelt, called the Gate of the Sun in the Silbern before it was
reconstructed. They plan to take this fight directly to Juhabach and
Haschwalth.
Toriko 326
The group has
met up with Jiji and is now in a Camping Monster called a Magneticlam that
makes the area around it a safe zone with magnetism.
Komatsu is
amazed to meet the Gold Chef, Starjun confirming how skilled he is by noting
that the soup he has contains Puzzle Plankton, which are so tiny that
connecting them to enhance their flavor would require great precision.
Toriko asks
if Starjun is here on Midora’s orders, the Sous Chef confirming that, also
noting the recent capture of PAIR by the Gourmet Hunter. The soup of Acacia’s
Full Course revealed something to Midora; the person whom he should aim his
anger at, which is most likely Acacia.
Meanwhile,
we’re told that Brunch negotiated the release of the chefs held prisoner by
Midora once they get all of the Full Course.
Komatsu
confirms that Jiji was the one who wrote the notebook they found in Gourmet
Pyramid, though now it’s been lost. Jiji says that those were old recipes, so
the Blue Nitro are waiting for even greater ones to be found.
Toriko
explains the situation, Jiji saying that he can tell them where to find the
other ingredients, but he has to decide who will go to each ingredient. His
eyes turn out to be below what appeared to be his mustache, which is actually
his eyebrow.
Jiji decides,
after investigating everyone, that most of the group should stay in Area 6,
since the Beast King here, the Black Hole Whale, is the most dangerous. Some
elites will go to the other areas: Brunch and Zebra to Area 5 to capture NEWS,
Sani and Livebearer to capture EARTH in Area 4 (fitting, since Sani desired
EARTH already), Coco and Tairan in Area 3 for ATOM (again, appropriate, since
Coco planned to acquire it much earlier), and Toriko and Starjun for Area 2 to
capture GOD.
The chapter
concludes with this determined, everyone to go towards Area 1 when they’ve
captured all the other ingredients to pursue CENTER.
Fairy Tail 438
It’s been five days since everyone returned to Magnolia, the
female dorms restored and everyone settling back into place, even the town
accepting their old guild with open arms.
Lucy comes out of the shower to see Natsu, freeloading
again. He picks her up, saying they have a job, the Stellar Spirit mage excited
until her towel comes off.
The job, however, is just rebuilding the guild on the crater
where it used to be. Gray is working, but overhears people talking about rumors
regarding him, Juvia and Lucy, among others, which irritates him.
We also find that Lisanna has become more comfortable around
everyone, having worked as a waitress with Mira and Elfman in the last year.
Elfman mostly did manly training, as expected.
Levy is organizing documents, since Fairy Tail still has to
get approved and processed through the council. They’ve mostly established
everything, thanks to Pantherlily and Gajeel’s help.
But the major issue bugging everyone now is who will be the
7th Guild Master. They think Gildartz is too noncommittal and that they’d still
just be a replacement for Makarov, since he’d still be in charge when he
returns.
A brawl starts after Natsu and Elfman start fighting, but
Erza breaks it up, telling them to get back to work, everyone obeying quickly
with how intimidating she is.
Levy says that Erza’s the best suited to be the next guild
master, the sword mage surprised at this.
The chapter concludes as Mest appears, now using his true
name and telling everyone that they have to come with him to save Makarov
