Seems like there isn’t a Magi chapter this week.
Seven Deadly Sins 85
Jericho wakes up as the chapter starts, threatening to kill
Guila. But Zeal stops her as she asks what’s going on. Guila explains the
situation, Jericho dumbstruck and furious, Guila warning her that it could open
her wounds.
Jericho asks why Guila drank the demon’s blood, Guila
responding that it was in order to protect her brother. Guila is concerned that
she’s become more monstrous now, originally concerned about hurting others, but
presently caring less and less.
Jericho, meanwhile, has a simpler motive, wanting to become
stronger than her brother and prove to him that she can become a Holy Knight
even if she’s a woman.
Dawn Roar is commanded to put Dreyfus in a dungeon until the
king sentences him later. The king observes how much Arthur has grown, but
starts to suddenly cough up blood. Merlin sees that he’s become weakened and
tells Arthur that they should go back to Camelot to treat him. Arthur asks if
Meliodas will join him as Camelot’s Great Holy Knight. Meliodas says he might,
if he feels like it, but for now they have to rebuild the kingdom. Merlin says
the same for whether she’ll join the Seven Deadly Sins again, teleporting away.
King reminds Meliodas that he should’ve asked Merlin about
10 years ago, the two clashing a bit. Elizabeth asks if Meliodas would really
leave her in the future, but before he can answer, we see a huge commotion
outside the castle, sending a shockwave that knocks the tower apart, scattering
the group.
Hendricksen ignores the Holy Knights asking him what
happened, awakening the Demon Blood of one of them, morphing him into a monster
that starts to rampage.
Elsewhere, Meliodas concludes that Jericho and Guila,
writhing on the ground in pain, are suffering the same issue that happened to
Dale, Guila’s father, morphing into a demonic monster.
The chapter ends as we see other second generation Holy
Knights warped into monsters attacking the kingdom, Meliodas stating that the
demon blood is running out of control.
World Trigger 67
Karasuma summons an Escudo shield to stop one of the Rabits
following them. The group decides they have to find another way to
headquarters, since he blocked off the way they were going. They realize
how many Rabits there are, a rain of lasers creating a diversion for them.
It’s Yosuke, Shun and Izumi. They attack one of the Rabits,
its armor tougher than the last ones they beat. Karasuma leaves them to hold
off the Rabits, Shun excited to be doing something for Jin.
Osamu’s impressed at Izumi’s Trion, Karasuma reminding him
they’ll still have some Rabits following them, since Yosuke, Izumi and Shun can
only hold off 3 or so.
Natsume tries to shoot at one of the Rabits, missing it as
it dodges, Osamu telling them to keep running. The Rabit shoots spikes at
Osamu, the spikes functioning like Hyuse’s Trigger and pulling Osamu to the
ground. Osamu fires an Asteroid shot at the Rabit, but it’s so weak, the Rabit
doesn’t even dodge, the shot bouncing off its armor.
Natsume and Chika move to support Osamu, Osamu telling them
to leave. But Chika offers her Trion, creating a link so Osamu can use it,
which she did before in using Osamu’s weapon a while ago.
Osamu thinks back to Karasuma asking him and Kitora about
the advantages of other Trigger users compared to Attackers. Range is one, but
the biggest one is ease of coordination.
They can attack without disrupting the attacks of others. Osamu uses
Chika’s Trion to create a bigger Asteroid Trigger, attacking one of the Rabits
already in combat to lower their numbers that way.
The shots first seem to be ineffective, but slowly pierce
into the armor, breaking it apart and destroying it.
The Neighbor army notices this, the leader saying he’ll go
after Chika himself as the chapter ends.
One Piece 753
Doflamingo is speaking with Bellamy, who demands to know why
Derringer was sent after him. He responds that he and Bellamy differ in their
goals: Bellamy wants to become a pirate, but Doflamingo doesn’t care as long as
he can destroy the world (which he puts in brackets, for some reason I’m not
sure of).
Elsewhere, we see Derringer fighting against Suleiman, a
participant in the Colosseum. Derringer darts around Suleiman with amazing
speed. He suddenly headbutts him, goring the fighter with his bull horn helmet.
Gilly Blue, another fighter, notices this, Derringer turning to face him.
Don Chinjao moves past the officers, Gladius making the wall
he’s climbing pop in some points, knocking him down. We see other officers
taking down the colosseum fighters with ease, showing how powerful they are.
Meanwhile, people who were being manipulated by Doflamingo’s
Parasite are captured, someone showing up to say they know where Riku is. The
group plans to draw out Riku and Usopp, who’s with him, and capture them with
their hostages.
We move to inside the SMILE factory, the Tontatta inside
being denied knowledge of what’s happening outside. But the Tontatta outside
create a message with their insects, telling the Tontatta inside to open the
lock. They then say that they’ve been tricked, encouraging them to fight, which
they do.
Luffy, Law, Cavendish and Kyros are moving towards the next
level to find Rebecca and Robin, Cavendish telling Kyros to get off. Kyros is
seeking out Diamante to kill him. The group comes upon the Colosseum fighters,
who’ve organized with Dagama’s help and seem to be doing well enough to keep
them occupied while Luffy goes ahead. Derringer headbutts Dagama, but he grabs
him, keeping him immobile.
The chapter ends as Luffy and Cavendish unleash attacks to
keep people away from them, moving towards the next floor.
Naruto 685
We start with a confirmation that it was Naruto’s clone
helping Sakura and Obito that got killed by Kaguya with the bone technique.
Naruto’s real body flashes to the experience of his Shadow Clone, Naruto
himself actually unable to catch up with Kaguya.
Naruto’s Shadow Clone follows Kaguya, along with Obito and
Sakura. He sees that Black Zetsu noticed them, Obito having marked this place.
The two teleport to Obito’s dimension, which is explained as what Black Zetsu
sensed: the three of them, Obito and Sakura disappearing quickly.
Kaguya pieces everything together, the real Naruto moving to
engage her again, so she can’t teleport.
Meanwhile, Sakura pours most of her chakra into Obito, who
is amazed at the distance Kaguya can effortlessly travel between dimensions.
Obito checks the dimensions one by one, slowly losing power and stability, his
eyes bleeding.
Elsewhere, Kaguya reveals she knew Naruto was a clone
before, since the original has the Gudoudama following him, the black balls
that Madara and Obito also used when they were sages.
Sasuke, in the dimension Kaguya sent him to, senses Naruto’s
chakra for a moment.
Obito opens another dimension, a sea of acid pouring out as
they narrowly dodge. Sakura is burned slightly, Obito confirming that dimension
was wrong too. He wants to wait until Sakura heals herself, but she says they
have to take this opportunity. The next dimension they peer into is where
Sasuke is. They call to him, Sasuke running to the portal, which is slowly
closing because Obito’s running out of chakra. Sakura then pours even more into
him, but the portal closes before he can make it.
Sakura falls back, but Sasuke reveals he switched places
with the jacket she discarded, so things are okay for now as the chapter ends.
Toriko 285
We see Zebra using Voice Missile to try to dissipate the
Meteor Rain, but it isn’t working. Branch uses the electricity in his body to
magnetize himself, drawing the meteorites to himself. Zebra then uses Voice
Eruption, wiping a huge swath of them away. The pair then bolts to avoid more.
Meanwhile, Sani and Nosh are avoiding the Laser Rain, Sani
using Hair Lead to deflect them, Nosh actually dodging. A Laser Squall comes,
Nosh bulking up and then directing the muscles to their bald head, creating a
Plate Shield. It deflects all the lasers, but they explain they can only keep
it up for a short time and then they can’t move for around 2 minutes. Sani
grabs them and runs.
Coco and Dinner are doing well, Coco making a Poison
Umbrella and Dinner using an Antidote Flower he revived as an umbrella.
Suddenly Poison Hail hits Coco’s Poison Umbrella, punching a hole in it. The
two decide they have to make a run for it, since Slow Rain Hills is nearby.
Komatsu and Mappy are rushing on Careru towards Slow Rain
Hills, concerned about Toriko.
Toriko is preparing to fight with all his strength and punch
Horse King Heracles, but the beast blows a gust out of its nose, the sheer
force creating a crater near Toriko and blowing off part of his face in the
process. And it’s not an illusion or such, Toriko falling down, defeated in one
blow. The chapter ends as the Horse King and the other beasts leave Toriko
behind, completely outclassed.
Bleach 589
Ichigo and the others find that Kisuke and Mayuri had
predicted something like the Zero Division coming down would happen, so they
created a working replica of Kuukaku’s cannon. Ichigo’s impressed, Kisuke
responding that this one is just an imitation, since the true one was made with
secret techniques from the Shiba family. They also don’t have enough energy to
fire it yet. Akon tells Kisuke that the person he sent for a mission has
returned, the two leaving.
Chad asks Ichigo what he thinks of Inoue’s clothes, Ichigo
saying they’re a bit revealing, Inoue worried Ichigo thinks she’s a pervert.
She says that Urahara lied to her, saying it would make Ichigo happy. Yoruichi
appears out of nowhere, after a long absence. She says Ichigo’s dense and
didn’t realize Orihime was pressured into wearing it. Kisuke stops her, asking
about the goods, Yoruichi revealing them under her cloak.
Kisuke explains Yoruichi was investigating the distortion
created by the Quincies. The moment one is created and when it is closed, a lot
of energy is released at once. Yoruichi went to where Hiyori and the others
were and collected the energy after they closed the distortions so they could use
it. The preparations are nearly complete for launching to Soul Palace.
Meanwhile, Ikkaku and Yumichika are encountering difficulty
with fighting Bambietta. Ikkaku decides he’ll have to dodge her bullets
embedded with her reishi, Yumichika providing support with kidou. Ikkaku stabs
through Bambietta, the blood getting on him and Bambietta nearly blowing his
head off. But Yumichika chops off the arm that was about to release the
explosion.
Giselle says it’s pointless, since Bambietta’s already dead.
Yumichika and Ikkaku are hit with a huge explosion form Bambietta, Giselle
explaining she had to finish off Bambietta to truly make her able to be
zombified. Giselle is ecstatic remembering the moment when she killed her
superior, Yumichika still thinking how crazy she is. She emphasizes all she has
to do with Soul Reapers is splash her blood on them.
But before she can do that, Mayuri appears in a flash of
light, saying she’s piqued his interest with her ability as the chapter ends.
Fairy Tail 393
Silver asks
Gray to finish him off, but Gray says he can’t, since Silver must be his dad.
Silver responds that he was waiting for Gray to come and kill him, since he’s
no longer human or demon; he’s merely a corpse.
Keith is explaining this to Juvia, meaning he’s likely behind this as
well as resurrecting the Chairman Kyouka killed.
Keith, whose
curse allows him to control the dead, collected Silver to see how well he could
make a corpse resemble and behave like its previous existence. He was the one
who survived the longest, at 17 years. He persisted in killing demons to avenge
his family killed by their kin, mistakenly thinking the ones at Sun village
were also demonic (meaning he learned the magic after he became a corpse?)
He was ready
to execute a plan to destroy Tartaros, but discovered Gray was alive during the
tournament. Silver concluded then that
he was far too guilty to be justified in his revenge and wanted Gray to destroy
his existence.
Silver asks
Gray to finish him, Gray saying he can’t. The Demon Slayer responds that he’ll
die soon anyway. Gray realized that Silver did all this so Gray could conquer
the proverbial demons of his past, Silver stating Gray should forget him, since
he’s been dead for so long.
Gray tries
to justify killing his father by saying that even if they’re blood related, he
has to destroy the enemies of his guild. But he says he can’t bring himself to
kill his own father, Silver understanding the paradox.
Before his
body runs out of energy, Silver stands up and embraces Gray, saying he’s grown
up to be a fine son.
Silver then
contacts Juvia through telepathy, telling her to kill Keith, saying he’s not
even that strong in terms of the Nine Demon Gates. The chapter ends as he tells
her that to stop the Face Operation, she’ll have to destroy Keith, which will
also end up killing Silver, which Juvia realized at some point.
