Seven Deadly Sins 86
Jericho’s body
warps, her human body barely visible from the huge demon body that grew around
it. The demon attacks Guila and Zeal, Gowther moving to stop it, but Diane
stops it more directly with her size. King thinks the demon blood started going
berserk on its own, but Meliodas thinks it’s someone’s doing.
Hendricksen speaks
to the group, noting how perceptive Meliodas is. The second generation was a
group he took advantage of, their inferiority complex and general weak wills
easily manipulated with the promise of power. And with the incantation he
spoke, the blood started going out of control.
Everyone notices
Hendricksen, surprised he’s alive and confused at his somewhat new
appearance. Hendricksen explains that he
has made a more complete unity with the demon blood, done through the
experiments he conducted over the years. He asks them to give up Elizabeth and
he’ll let them live. But Meliodas and the others refuse. Hendricksen says he
expected as much, King wondering if he expected a sneak attack from behind,
Hendricksen responding in the affirmative.
King’s attacked by
Helbram, who’s somehow able to attack. Hendricksen explains that Helbram was
dead 150 years ago, Hendricksen using a forbidden spell from the druids,
Enslavement of the Dead, to bring him back to life after acquiring his body on
the black market, since fairy bodies never deteriorate. This is the last time
he can use the spell (a maximum of two revivals) and each time they become less
stable and weaker. This revelation paralyzes King with anguish, that he killed
his friend twice already (once when Helbram first went insane and the second
time more recently).
Before Meliodas and
Gilthunder can attack Hendricksen, he points out that Vivian has captured
Elizabeth and Margaret. Hendricksen then
slashes down Gil, impaling Meliodas, the two collapsing. Vivian asks why
Hendricksen attacked Gil, Hendricksen replying that since Gil will be a corpse,
she can have him all to herself. But Meliodas isn’t dead, ready to attack as
Hendricksen prepares to finish them off.
But Elizabeth
volunteers to go with Hendricksen in exchange for Meliodas and Gilthunder’s
safety, Hendricksen agreeing. Meliodas tries to stop her, but she says he
should let her save him once ina while,
seemingly divided as to her love for Meliodas, but also wanting to protect him.
The chapter ends as
Ban appears, seemingly ready to finish off Meliodas.
Next week will
reveal the anime’s broadcast schedule.
Magi 232
The group is still standing before Ill Ilah, Solomon wondering
to himself why David led him here with the staff given to him. Suddenly,
tentacles come from Ill Ilah, touching Arba, Ugo, Solomon and Sheba, opening
their third eyes. In that instance, they understood the plan of “God”, destiny.
The necessary nature of existence follows a flow generated by the various
phenomena created by God to go forward.
The group despairs at their situation, seemingly nothing
more than insignificant pawns. But Solomon says that they have the power in
front of them to change things, to steal the rukh from God and make a world
different from what it is. The others are concerned Solomon will become like
David and kill God, but Solomon says he’ll share God with everyone, dividing
the rukh evenly between all living beings.
But Arba says she cannot allow this, attacking Solomon. He
stops her with relative ease, Ugo saying that he cannot control this, leaving
it in Solomon’s hands to manipulate this vast quantity of magoi. Solomon
prepares to initiate his plan, leaving things to Sheba, Ugo and Arba, each with
their own roles.
Solomon rips all the rukh from Ill Ilah, sealing its body in
another dimension and distributing the rukh evenly amongst all species. He also
changes all the rukh white, purifying it of the corruption David had instilled.
Solomon seemingly disappears, Sheba not wanting him to leave
her behind to become the new “God”. The chapter ends as Solomon’s body has
changed, looking much more like David in appearance and Solomon’s Rukh watching
over the great flow of Rukh that comprises the world.
Things aren’t over yet, though, since there’s still the
black spot incident. Not sure whether Gyokuen is Sheba or Arba. At this point,
it could be either of them for different reasons.
World Trigger 68
Yosuke, Izumi and Shun notice that one of the new model
Rabits has been destroyed, Osamu and Chika moving to the one near them. As it
runs towards them, Izumi uses a combination Trigger to pierce the armor,
distracting the Rabit enough for Osamu to blast it away. Izumi’s impressed,
thinking Osamu had all that Trion, Osamu explaining he’s using Chika, which
makes Izumi think they could take them on.
Chika suddenly senses a Neighbor nearby, the leader
appearing in the distance. He notices two of the new Rabits are defeated
already, so he unleashes his Trigger, Alektor. It fires birds, which, when they
make contact, turn the person it touches into a cube, like the previous Rabits
had.
Yosuke and Shun notice that the Trigger manifests the Trion
into animals, trying to knock them away. But even their Triggers are turned
into tinier cubes. Shun is knocked down and has to Bail Out before he’s turned
into a cube. Izumi tells Osamu to run while they handle the Rabits.
The leader fires more birds at Izumi, who catches them all
with his own Trigger fire. But lizards appear on his legs, the birds a
distraction, as they knock him down.
Osamu uses even more power, firing a huge blast at the
Neighbor leader, but the Trigger blocks the attack easily. The amount of Trion
impresses the Neighbor leader. He notes the magnetic shards on Osamu as a
marker for later, focusing on capturing Chika. He angles his shots to miss
Osamu, hitting Chika as the chapter ends on her possibly getting captured.
One Piece 754
We see Kinemon has met up with Kanjurou as the chapter
begins in the Scrap Heap. Kanjurou apparently isn’t big on formalities and
thanks Kinemon for keeping Momonosuke safe, offering some food he can
apparently produce with a Devil Fruit power that he calls magic. We see the
power in action as he draws a bird on the wall and it comes to life, the other
prisoners thinking he has a Devil Fruit as well. The others ask Kinemon and
Kanjurou to help them escape as the scene shifts elsewhere.
All the soldiers under Doflamingo are targeting Luffy, the
Colosseum army keeping them occupied. Derringer uses his high heels to attack
Gilly Blue, seemingly taking him out. Cavendish says that it’s pointless to
play Doflamingo’s game and instead kill him so that they can avert the danger
of his crimes getting out of the island, which Doflamingo would stop at anything
to prevent from being leaked. He made one major error, however, in bringing so
many powerful people to one place.
Cavendish vows that he will take Doflamingo’s head, but
Luffy, Law and Kyros also say they will do so, provoking a minor squabble before
they arrive at the third level. A group of giant puppets that look like
nutcracker dolls are walking around, looking very threatening.
Zoro’s fight with Pica seems to be at a standstill, since
any time Zoro gets an opportunity to strike, Pica moves to another part of the
statue. Pica attacks with tentacles of stone, Zoro dodging and seeing Rebecca’s
group floating on the Tontatta’s bugs. Robin tells Zoro to hold Pica off so
they can get past Pica’s statue. Pica returns to the statue itself, punching at
them with his giant fist. Zoro unleashes 1080 Pound Cannon, one of the
strongest Santoryu techniques in the series, chopping Pica’s statue in half as
the chapter ends on Zoro saying that Luffy’s crew is out of their league.
Naruto 686
Hagoromo explains the situation to the Hokage: specifically
that Madara’s body having the mix of Nine Tails, Indra and Ashura’s chakra
allowed him to appear. He then proceeds to teach them the technique Kaguya used
to teleport between dimensions (since it is said to require a huge amount of
chakra that he doesn’t have anymore)
Meanwhile, Kaguya is attacking all of Naruto’s clones, some
of them moving to protect the original Naruto, since they know it’s the attack
that could kill Naruto. Kaguya and Black Zetsu conclude the one with the Truth
Seeking Orbs on its back is the original one. Even more clones move to surround
and protect Naruto, Kaguya blasting through them quickly.
Kakashi is watching, feeling helpless, unable to do anything
to help. Naruto shouts that he won’t lose, giving Kakashi some indirect
encouragement. Sakura, Sasuke and Obito appear from the other dimension,
shocking Black Zetsu. Naruto’s happy to see them, but is suddenly caught by
Kaguya and seemingly killed. But the other clones remain, revealing Naruto
attached the Truth Seeking Orbs to a clone to distract Kaguya and Black Zetsu
further.
As Naruto and Sasuke move to team up, Kaguya is told by
Black Zetsu they have to take drastic action, Kaguya teleporting everyone to
another dimension with enhanced gravity, pulling everyone down, even Kaguya.
The clones are defeated, leaving the original body. Kaguya
fires the bone spears at Naruto and Sasuke, narrowly missing because of the
gravity.
She prepares another volley, Kakashi and Obito moving to
protect them, encouraged by a vision of Rin in their minds. But before Kakashi
can be struck, Obito uses Kamui to teleport the bone spear away, leaving him to
die, saying he can’t have Kakashi following him as the chapter ends.
Toriko 286
We flashback to Chichi giving the group Cure Water to help
them regenerate from serious damage. Chichi asks about Toriko’s hair being blue
(rather than Sani, for some reason), Toriko saying it was black when he was
born. Chichi thinks that there are other monsters inside him besides the Red
Oni that manifested when they saw the apple with a bit of the scent of Acacia’s
Full course on it, one being especially dangerous.
Back in the present, Toriko is still near death, the Cure
Water bottle broken. It seems like most of it was used on Toriko (by accident?)
and his Gourmet Cells are quickly regenerating the damage. Horse King Heracles
notices something, which isn’t the spike in power from Toriko, but that a
single Air tree is making more air with a different scent.
We see what is probably the inside of Toriko’s self, two of
the oni inside him meeting, the Red and Blue Oni. The Red one says that he
didn’t want to ask for the Blue’s help, but Toriko’s in danger and he can’t use
his full power. Blue warns him that Toriko’s body may not hold out, but Red
says if they eat a certain ingredient, it’ll be okay. They just have to hold
out for a few minutes. The Blue Oni agrees, wanting to at least play with the
Horse King Heracles.
Toriko regains consciousness, noticing the scent from the
single Air Tree Heracles noticed as well. It turns out Komatsu, when he used
his knife before, made the Air Tree’s fruit edible, all the tentacles placing
their seeds together and creating a single fruit. Toriko’s regenerated half of his
body, now resembling the Blue Oni, stretches out his arm, grabbing the fruit
and gobbling it down.
The Blue Oni’s body more fully appears from Toriko’s,
attacking the Horse King with a punch to the face. The chapter ends as Blue Oni
taunts the Horse King, who seems to be ready to take it seriously.
Bleach 590
Giselle notes how bright Mayuri shines, Mayuri responding
that he’s great, so he should shine appropriately, which just makes Giselle
think he’s arrogant. Ikkaku and Yumichika knew it was Mayuri from either his
voice or his taste in clothes.
Bambietta appears, Giselle thinking she wants to protect her.
Bambietta speaks about wanting something of Giselle’s (flesh, blood?), Giselle
slapping her as punishment. She grabs Bambietta by the hair, saying if she
completes her task, she’ll be rewarded, Bambietta apologizing and promising to
win, not wanting to be punished further.
Mayuri comments on how pitiful that display was, Giselle
commenting on his light getting dimmer. He simply responds that it was so peons
like her could see him, Giselle still noting how arrogant he sounds, Mayuri not
caring one bit.
Giselle commands Bambietta to attack, firing the reishi
bullets, which explode around Mayuri, who manages to dodge them. He comments on
the consistent speed of the bullets and commands Nemu to use a device. She
inquires about the parameters, Mayuri responding that 3 seconds will suffice.
As the reishi bullets race toward him, Pokeball looking
items appear around him, intercepting the bullets and stopping them, the
explosion resulting a few seconds later and nearly destroying Bambietta, doing
little damage to Giselle.
Giselle is confused at what happened, Mayuri explaining
those devices were reishi manipulators, stopping their flow for a set period of
time. The devices became bombs, but temporarily malfunctioned. He says with
this, Bambietta’s ability is pointless, so he asks them to come along quietly.
But Giselle responds that it’s not just the two of them:
she’s created a small army of Soul Reaper zombies to do her bidding.
Mayuri says he’d feel bad in attacking fellow Soul Reapers,
so he reveals that he has Arrancar zombies: Dordoni and Cirucci of the Privaron
Espada, Luppi, former 6th Espada and Charlotte Chulhorne, Fraccion of Barragan,
the chapter ending as Mayuri leaves it to them.
Fairy Tail 394
Natsu makes a solid punch on Tempester, but he
counterattacks with just as much power. Gajeel’s having difficulty as well,
Lucy thinking Juvia must be in danger too.
Juvia tries to contact Silver, but can’t establish a link.
She wonders if this is best for Gray. Keith says that Tartaros knew Silver was
trying to fight against them, but Keith recognized that the desire for revenge
and getting stronger as a result was what allowed him to prolong his undead
existence, which piqued Keith’s interest. Juvia thinks he’s a monster, Keith
responding that with Gray killed by Silver and Silver killed by Gray, he’ll
have an even greater research subject.
This enrages Juvia, who starts to attack with more
intensity. Keith binds her with his seemingly formless body. Lucy tries to move
and help Juvia, but skeletons start to appear from the ground, Torafusa
explaining this is a huge gravesite, making it a cache of weapons for Keith.
Keith continues to provoke Juvia, saying she will sever the
bond between Silver and Gray by killing him, since Silver will cease to exist.
Juvia hesitates, saying she can’t do it, Keith seemingly tearing her into
pieces with his power.
But Juvia has turned into water and gotten into Keith’s
body, exploding him from the inside as she says feelings will always remain in
some form, human bonds not broken that easily. With Keith defeated, Face is
stopped and the skeletons fall apart, Torafusa and Tempester shocked.
Silver speaks to Juvia as he begins to cross over, thanking
her and telling her to take care of his son. As Silver disappears, he thinks to
himself that the reason he learned Ice Demon Slayer magic is because END is a
flame type, and he passes the magic
onto Gray, markings appearing on his body as the chapter ends on Gray vowing to
defeat END.
