Dr. Stone 56
As Magma escapes from the hole as
well, Senkuu jokes that if they’d been in there any longer, he’d have had to share
Magma’s warmth, making Magma vomit at the thought
Senkuu is delighted when they find a
skarn deposit, created by magma super heating water which then flows through
limestone and reacts to various chemicals in the stones to create a “jewel case”
of ores.
As Magma moves to start excavating,
he thinks that he could attack Senkuu and Chrome from behind, but doesn’t,
striking the stone instead. This makes Senkuu bring up how last time, Magma was
apparently trying to push Senkuu out of the way from the mica caving in under
his feet rather than what it initially appeared to be
Chrome apologizes, Magma saying it
doesn’t matter now, since he needs to make up for his attempt at killing them,
smashing through the rocks and acquiring tungsten
As they leave, Chrome comments that
the bonds they’ve made are as tough, if not stronger, than the tungsten they’ve
acquired, though Magma and Senkuu think that’s really corny
Magma remembers that Gen told him to
bring Senkuu and Chrome back in three days, blindfolding Senkuu as they arrive
at the village
Senkuu thinks they’ve betrayed him,
Gen planning to give him up to Tsukasa to maintain the village’s safety
But it turns out it’s January 4th,
Senkuu’s birthday and the village has put their efforts together to make a
telescope. Senkuu’s amazed at it, though he wonders how Gen was able to figure
out his birthday. Gen says he told him how many days he’d lived, but Senkuu
says he’d still need to know how long he’d been petrified
Gen reveals that he found the date
that Senkuu wrote on a wall when he came out of stone, amazed at how precise it
was
He says everyone’s been like that in
a way, the chapter ending as Senkuu comments that it’s a cheesy line, Gen
admitting it is.
We Can’t Study 60
Yuiga meets Asumi at the local
library, who asks him to get a book on a shelf she can’t reach. As he gets it,
he slips, Asumi moving to help him.
But she ends up spraining her wrist
in the process, Yuiga feeling guilty about it
The two start to study, but Yuiga’s
overly helpful attitude, even though Asumi’s dominant hand wasn’t injured,
makes her think that there is a way he can help with the situation
She asks him to feed her like the
boyfriend he’s supposed to be in her dad’s eyes, serving as a way to show them
that they’re a couple
As Asumi eats, Yuiga’s worried that
her father is angry, though he’s just thinking about whether they should marry
in a church or a shrine
Asumi goes to work at the maid café,
though this just makes Yuiga worry even more. She insists she’s fine, but as
she goes to take her break, Yuiga told to take her staff meal to her, Yuiga
sees that it does actually pain her more than she let on
She’s trying to study in spite of
that, Yuiga impressed that she’s persisting through the pain and inconvenience
At home, they’re back to studying
again, Asumi teasing Yuiga by noting that her back’s gotten sweaty from work,
asking him to wipe it down for her, which means unhooking her bra
He does so, blindfolding himself to
make sure he doesn’t get a peek at anything.
Asumi’s surprised at how forward he
is, Yuiga saying that Fumino’s helped him try and understand a woman’s
feelings, though he comments that her hiding that her injury still hurts didn’t
help in his understanding her position
He says he’s upset about this, even
if their relationship as lovers is fake, Asumi thinking that he’s saying
something odd for him, though Yuiga doesn’t hear that
As they continue to bicker slightly,
Asumi’s dad thinks that their relationship might proceed fast enough that he
may see grandchildren in the future
Later on, Asumi meets up with Yuiga,
Fumino, Rizu and Uruka. Yuiga’s embarrassed at meeting her, thinking that he
might’ve been too forward
The chapter ends as Asumi teases him
again, calling him Back Wiper, which sounds similar in Japanese to a character
in a series called Moomin that embarrasses Yuiga
Black Clover 154
Asta asks if Yuno really is his
rival and not an elf in his body, Yuno telling him to shut up as he tends to.
Bell is excited to point out that she and Yuno both have pointy ears, which
Asta pointed out before, though Asta and Yuno don’t really care
As Klaus and Hamon try to attack,
Yuno pushes them back with his magic
Rhya notes that both Patri and Yuno,
with Licht and another elf soul in their bodies respectively, still haven’t
fully reincarnated, their dormant souls still struggling for control
Yuno notes the situation as well,
his supposed allies attacking again, saying that they must destroy the humans that
keep him from being able to awaken as an elf
But Yuno resists again with even
more power, saying he won’t forgive them manipulating the bodies of his
superiors in the Golden Dawn
Asta is amazed at this power, Yuno
telling Asta that he’ll stop them, but Asta says he won’t let Yuno do it alone
Klaus and Hamon combine their magic
into Chateaux De Vere, the castle structure rushing at them
But Asta and Yuno aren’t fazed at
all, unleashing their strongest powers and combining their efforts to blast
through their opponents’ magic as the chapter ends
One Piece 903
Sanji tells Luffy and Chopper that
he doesn’t want a scientific Germa 66 item that Niji gave to Luffy, having slipped
it into his pocket when he first met them
He says he doesn’t want his strength
to come from science, Nami bringing up that her Sorcery Climatact is a
combination of science and Usopp’s engineering.
Zeus pops out of the Climatact,
Sanji bickering with the cloud, claiming he was Nami’s “slave” long before Zeus
came around
As they continue fighting, Luffy and
Chopper irritating Sanji by asking him to put on the Germa 66 tech, Carrot gets
the newspaper
It says that Luffy, Jinbe, Sanji and
Bege tried to assassinate Big Mom and Sanji’s bounty has nearly doubled to 330
million berry, 10 million higher than Zoro’s at the moment. But Sanji’s name is
given as Vinsmoke Sanji, which makes him depressed to be associated with them
But Luffy’s bounty has seemingly
gone down to 150 million (though I wonder if that’s the case, since Luffy could
easily have misread it), the others taken aback at that, since it was 500
million before
Reverie is beginning, Neptune told
by Shirahoshi that she wants to attend, not willing to let Luffy down and call
her weak again
But even more important than Reverie
at the moment is news that has spread of Luffy threatening Big Mom’s position
as a Yonkou, having 7 pirate crews under his influence and managing to convince
Germa 66, the Sun Pirates and the Fire Tank Pirates to ally together and deal a
blow to Big Mom’s kingdom. This makes Luffy recognized as an unofficial 5th
Emperor of the Sea
Sakazuki is told that the princess
of one of the kingdoms heading to Reverie was kidnapped by pirates and we see
that same crew moving in a submarine towards the ships holding Dressrosa and
Prodence’s dignitaries.
They fire a torpedo at the ship, but
it’s redirected, exploding harmlessly elsewhere by Coby, now a Marine Captain.
The pirates are captured by Helmeppo, the princess Komane rescued as Coby looks
at the newspaper, overwhelmed with emotion at seeing the pirate he met when he
was still a rookie rising in the ranks this much
Various people are commenting on how
Luffy has been recognized as an Emperor, such as Kaidou and Blackbeard as well
as Shanks.
The chapter ends as it’s revealed
that Luffy’s bounty is actually 1.5 billion Berry
Boku no Hero Academia 181
We flashback to earlier when
Ectoplasm was contacted by Hound Dog about the intruders, as we learn that the
cancellation of the festival is based on whether there is hostile intent
Gentle insists to Hound Dog that he
just tripped, not invading at all, but the Hero recognizes the scent of one of
the students
As Gentle tells Hound Dog that the
student is over there, he thinks to himself that he must change his ways now,
Deku having inspired him to do something for another person, La Brava in this
case. Gentle always had a heart that cared for people, but he was too self-centered
to realize that until now
The Gentle Criminal claims that he
brainwashed La Brava, who tries to say otherwise.
Deku tells the Heroes that Gentle
was just trying to pull a prank, Snipe confirming that this appears to just be
someone who trespassed on U.A. property, not an emergency situation
Gentle tells Deku that his crime
spree was born from his despair of being a Hero dropout, hoping that Deku can
change more peoples’ minds
Deku panics as Ectoplasm reminds him
about the festival and Class 1-A’s performance in less than an hour
As he manages to get to the
performance just in the nick of time, Deku thinks to himself that he and Gentle
did have a similar mentality of fighting for others, Gentle for La Brava and
Deku, in this context, for Eri, the chapter ending as the performance starts,
Eri smiling naturally
Seven Deadly Sins 264
Sariel and Tarmiel tell Estarossa that their
combined power will vaporize him so there’s no way the Demon can regenerate
anymore. Estarossa seems to activate his Commandment for some purpose as we
shift elsewhere
Meanwhile, the main army notices that a presence has
vanished in the fight, and the soldiers ask Howzer if they should kill
Derriere, since she is one of the Ten Commandments
Derriere asks Elizabeth if she knows the words that
Monspiet was keeping hidden away because of his Commandment, but the Goddess
says she wouldn’t be aware
The Purity mourns that she never was able to help
Monspiet, who always assisted her even though she was reckless. Elizabeth says
they’re similar in that respect, Meliodas making so many sacrifices for her.
Elizabeth notes that with that in mind, she has to
live in a way that will do all in her power to save him, saying that Derriere
knows her own feelings, so she should live her life in Monspiet’s memory
As Sariel and Tarmiel arrive, they say Estarossa is
defeated, but Guila points out that the Demon is right behind them, his form
more twisted than before. The Archangels are shocked, since it would require
power of their level in order to escape that dimension
Hawk observes that his power level is now 88000,
seemingly much stronger than before. It’s also noted by Elizabeth that he’s
more deranged than before, Derriere seemingly realizing something too.
Tarmiel is surrounded by darkness, falling to the
ground as he’s unable to use his Ocean Grace to shift to liquid.
Estarossa tries to grab Sariel, but his Tornado
Grace blasts him back. However, to his shock, the Goddess is grabbed by the
Love, his sheer force able to break past the sphere of wind. Sariel slashes the
Demon in half with a wind scythe, but he’s already starting to regenerate
Tarmiel blasts Estarossa into the ground with a
pillar of water, but even that isn’t stopping him
We see that Estarossa absorbed Galand’s Commandments
he had from before into his body, now doing so with Monspiet’s Reticence (which
Derriere recognizes), in order to increase his power so he can defeat the
Archangels.
Sariel and Tarmiel are blasted through the chest
with Estarossa’s power, the others retreating, Guila telling Elizabeth even she
has to leave.
The chapter ends as Estarossa refers to himself as
the great Meliodas, his mind seemingly even more twisted than before with the
newfound power he’s acquired, his form enveloped in a garb of darkness energy.
