Boku no Hero Academia 81

The magician Villain says that Bakugou is no one’s to claim, Todoroki attacking him as he dodges.

He says that the young Heroes have had values put upon them by Yuuei, but that there are other ways to view the world.

The group notices Tokoyami is gone as well, Todoroki thinking that the Villain’s Quirk allowed him to sneak up on them unawares.

He asks if the Villain just came to make a speech, the magician noting he used to be an entertainer, so it’s a habit from that job. Since Tokoyami took out Moonfish, someone that was on death row, he judged that the Dark Shadow Hero could be of use to them.

Todoroki attacks again, but the Villain easily dodges as he communicates that their mission is over, 5 minutes remaining for them to get to the collection point.

Dabi and the cloning Villain are resigned to just wait there, though the Gas Villain being defeated means that they’re not as concealed as they could be.

Aoyama is hiding, Momo tasking him to keep the Class B students with them safe while she moved elsewhere, but he’s panicking.

Dabi seems to notice the Hero, but the clone villain brings up that there’s a Noumu in the group that only the scarred up Villain can control. Shigaraki gave him the custom monster, rampaging around instead of helping directly in the mission.

The monster has various weapons as part of a multi limbed body, attacking Awase from Class B and Momo, who’s nearly unconscious.

Before the Noumu can attack, he’s stopped, called back by Dabi.

Momo tells Awase to use his Welding Quirk with something she made, the Hero fusing the item onto the Noumu’s body, only able to weld things he touches into something else.

Meanwhile, Magne and Spinner have been captured by Tiger and Mandalay, the male member of the Pussy Cat’s Quirk revealed to be Soft Body, making him somewhat like Mr. Fantastic from Marvel or Plastic Man from DC

Spinner is frustrated at being thwarted, Mandalay saying that he didn’t even use his Quirk.

But Black Mist appears as we shift back to Deku’s group, unable to catch up with the Villain.

Deku puts together a plan, using everyone’s Quirks in tandem to throw himself, Shouji and Todoroki at the Villain, determined to do something in spite of the pain he’s feeling to save his friend.

Himiko meets up with Dabi and the Clone Villain, explaining what happened briefly.

But Dabi notices something, Deku, Shouji and Todoroki crashing down with the Magician Villain as the chapter ends with them preparing to get Bakugou and Tokoyami back.

Seven Deadly Sins 165

We find out how King got into Diane’s cleavage, the giantess putting him there because she didn’t recognize him and thought he was weak.

Gloxinia asks Dolor why they’re fighting the duplicates they made, the Giant ancestor saying it was pure luck, but it’s somewhat appropriate, since they are a Fairy and Giant as they are.

Diane is knocked back by the team, King demanding to fight. She doesn’t think he’s a fairy, so he transforms, his new appearance shocking her enough to slap him away at Gloxinia’s doppelganger.

He’s caught after pausing at the recognition of the duplicate’s face as Gerharde’s, but uses Chastiefol to fight back, and amazing Diane with his power as he also explains that he’s the Fairy King now, called Harlequin.

Gloxinia and Dolor are impressed as well, powering up their representatives to full strength.

King starts to try to tell Diane his feelings, but she points out that Chastiefol’s Guardian form is getting beaten up, the pair pushed back by the Ten Commandments’ duo.

Diane is nearly killed by a finishing move, but King releases Chastiefol’s full power, saying he’ll never let Diane be afraid again, further confusing the giantess as to their relationship.

The chapter ends as we see the Guardian form’s new appearance much more monstrous

World Trigger 134

Hyuse communicates his need, since Reghindetz is aware of him being from Aftokrator. He notes what house he’s from and his connection to the ruling powers, requesting that they take him on their away ship.

The Neighbor remembers Gatlin’s orders to kill Aftokrator prisoners, but before he can act, Yotaro appears, having something to tell Hyuse.

Meanwhile, Gatlin makes an attempt to fire his cannon even after being cut in half, but Kou blocks it easily, the two Trion bodies exploding.

But Gatlin disappeared, a black portal appearing where he was, Ratarikov following suit and disappearing after he compliments the Meeden team’s ability to work together.

Koskero and Wen So are also gone, HQ thinking that they must’ve had their own version of Bail Out as a failsafe in case the mission didn’t succeed. The Trion soldiers are retreating as well.

Shinoda cautions the agents to not pursue the Trion soldiers too far.

Tachikawa gloats at their victory, but Konami brings up how he was cut in half. The #1 Attacker retorts that he took Jin’s prediction and turned it to his advantage, meaning he was superior to Jin in some manner, at least in his perspective.

The team guarding the away ship has completed their mission, but they think there’s still a need to be cautious and aware of what’s happening until the threat is gone completely.

Back with Hyuse and Reghindetz, we see Yotaro bring out the Aftokrator Neighbor’s Trigger, Lampyris.

We flashback to Yotaro and Jin talking about Hyuse joining Osamu’s team, the child supportive of either outcome, showing some maturity for his age. Jin gives him the Lampyris Trigger, saying that it might be a way to convince the Neighbor to stay.

Yotaro tells Hyuse in the present that he could’ve just told them if he wanted to return home, Hyuse taking the Trigger with gratitude.

Yomi contacts Reghindetz, telling him the mission was a failure. But the Neighbor doesn’t want to leave things unfinished without any sort of benefit to them. He sees Aftokrator as the cause of their mission even being necessary.

Reghindetz notes that things went suspiciously well for Meeden, questioning whether Hyuse has defected to this country against his own. In order to test his loyalty and for them to take him back to Galopoula, he demands Hyuse capture Yotaro.

The chapter ends as Jin has found Yotaro, likely clashing with the Neighbors to keep Yotaro out of danger.

Magi 296

Alibaba explains how they’ll use the various new technologies Kou has developed to improve their trading company, such as the Eight Trigrams talismans, so they can stop the Sindria Trading Company’s monopoly on airships, as well as the teleportation technology. And they’ll keep the food production lines familiar for both soldiers and farmers.

Koumei agrees but thinks the whole situation can’t be good overall, since it’s creating a global conflict.

Alibaba thinks they should ask a professional merchant, hiring on Budel to open a winery. The merchant was thinking of such a plan, but didn’t know who to ask before. The Dungeon Conqueror even further explains how the Kou Empire’s research into teleportation magic was how they advanced in the past, transforming conquered areas in days with the ease of transporting materials, people, etc.

With that decided, Koumei explains that they need to negotiate with all the areas to set up magic circles so they can use the teleportation magic from their location.

He entrusts Alibaba with this task, the Amon Candidate agreeing, saying he can also search for Aladdin in the process.

Koumei comments to Kougyoku how Alibaba has a strong influence on many people he’s met, including such important figures like Sinbad and Kouen. He vows to help Kougyoku as well and thanks her for keeping the empire afloat.

Alibaba’s first destination is Balbadd, the prince thinking back to when Hakuryuu told him he was selfish to abandon his own country 3 years ago.

Barkak explains the situation, Balbadd having taken a more republican type of government, where representatives are elected from the people, creating a sense of no privileged class existing.

But the general of Alibaba’s father begs the prince to come back to his country, thinking he has a duty here, not to the Kou Empire.

Alibaba responds that he appreciates that someone thinks of him in that way, since he doubted himself, doing so many things under the pretense of being a King Candidate.

The chapter ends as he says Balbadd doesn’t need a prince anymore, that it can stand on its own two feet.

Bleach 665

Kisuke’s Bankai revealed to Askin confuses the Quincy, since he had no data on it. But the Soul Reaper says it’s because he’s never used it in front of them.

Askin asks about the powers of Kannon Biraki Benihime Aratame, Kisuke responding that even if he doesn’t tell him, he’ll find out soon enough

The Death Dealing sees his arm being torn apart, pulling back as Kisuke compliments him for discerning that his Bankai has a range, his arm reverting back to its original form

He explains that the nature of Benihime Aratame is to restructure anything it touches, healing the wounds the Quincy gave him before.

The two clash, Askin still in disbelief, Kisuke simply stating that the eyes have been restructured from when they were destroyed by the Gift Ring. We see Kisuke’s hand broken apart slightly and then sewn together again, punching the Quincy as an explosion results from the impact, likely strengthening done before the attack.

Askin is frustrated that the battle has just become a match of brute force. He begins to enhance the power of the Gift Ball Deluxe, having held it back to make things interesting. Not wanting to delay the battle anymore, he proceeds to move the fight to an end.

But suddenly, Askin is impaled through the chest by Grimmjow, who has grabbed his heart.

Kisuke wondered if the Gift Ball Deluxe was impenetrable as well as inescapable, using Benihime Aratame’s power to restructure anything it touches to create an entrance into the Gift Ball.

The chapter ends as Grimmjow crushes the Quincy’s heart, though who knows if this has finished him off.

One Piece 819

The group is shocked to find that Momonosuke’s father was in Gol D. Roger’s crew, along with Silvers Rayleigh, having learned the true history of the world.

But they also learn that Momonosuke, Kinemon, Kanjuro and Raizou know none of what Oden learned, so their being pursued seems to be purely based on Momo’s father’s reputation.

Oden told them they must open the borders of Wano, so they sought to find allies, since the shogun and Kaidou’s allied forces were too great for them.

The Minks and the Kozuki clan had a longstanding bond, Catviper and Dogstorm both retainers of Oden along with Kinemon’s group. They feel shamed for losing to a cowardly tactic of Jack, but say that next time they’ll reveal their true strength.

Kinemon asks Law and Luffy to provide assistance in the fight against Kaidou and the shogun, but Luffy rejects him, Usopp frustrated at his captain’s attitude.

Nami thinks they should negotiate, but Luffy interrupts her by saying that Momonosuke is weak, little more than a figurehead in spite of being the heir to the leader of great warriors.

The others say he shouldn’t be so harsh, but Momo thinks to himself that he was unable to help his parents or defend them against Kaidou and the shogun, pleading with Luffy to help him defeat Kaidou.

Luffy, acknowledging Momo’s resolve and willingness to fight in some respect and depending on him as a friend, accepts his premise, forming an alliance with the Wano warriors and the Minks to defeat Kaidou and free the kingdom.

The next objective is to get Sanji, Luffy telling the others to sit tight and not make trouble, seeing Sanji as especially useful in this upcoming conflict.

But we see that Jack’s fleet is approaching Zou, the Drought saying that instead of attacking Zou by mounting an assault on the Minks, he’ll just take out the giant elephant itself, the chapter ending on this threat.

Toriko 362

Brunch is frustrated to find Ootake at the Bishokukai’s headquarters, telling him Midora already left to handle some other business (likely fighting Joa and the others), but that he also released all the chefs, so that part of the bargain has been fulfilled. The 3rd Ranked Chef recognizes Ootake as one of the top 100 ranked Chefs in the world

Ootake hopes Midora comes back so he can hear him say “delicious” to something he prepared for the leader of the Bishokukai. But Brunch thinks he won’t be coming back, since he released all the chefs he had as collateral.

Brunch suggests that Ootake come with him and bring a meal for Midora, since they’re both interested in providing him with food as Chefs.

Meanwhile, as Komatsu is opening the can, Toriko is overwhelmed by the smell that comes out, his third Gourmet Cell Demon fighting with the other 2 for dominance, Red and Blue worried that his body wouldn’t be able to handle the power of the one still awakening.

The ingredient is revealed by Jiji to be an Ougai, an ancient shellfish that was said to have consumed many fish over the centuries, having much more space inside than its tiny size suggests. It was thought to be extinct, exceedingly rare.

Toriko and Komatsu pull out and eat some of the meat, Toriko concluding he’ll make this the seafood dish in his Full Course

Jiji was concerned that it might’ve been a demon sealed inside the can, the reveal of Toriko’s third demon awakening meaning it may have been released along with the Ougai when the can was opened.

Sani speaks up, saying his Full Course is now complete with adding EARTH to it, Coco having added the Sundoriko Flower and ATOM, only lacking his Main Course. Zebra added ANOTHER, only missing his Main Course as well. And Toriko, besides GOD, needs his Meat dish.

Starjun also says he found the ingredient he was looking for, the group mobilizing to head towards GOD.

The chapter ends as we see Don Slime, seemingly having finished off NEO, though it’s possible there’s still something lying in wait.

Fairy Tail 476

We’re reminded about the nature of Third Origin, about how it grants magic power that you may have in the future, but that it will also negate your ability to use magic afterwards.

Both Sherria and Wendy are willing, but Ultear explains she can’t give it to both of them, because someone needs to have their magic to heal Charle. Wendy volunteers, but Sherria insists, because she wants her friend to be able to help someone that’s been her closest friend in her life. The Wind Dragon Slayer says she was motivated because she wanted to save Sherria, so she has to do this herself to feel like she’s made the right choice.

Sherria is pushed away by Wendy as she tells Ultear to go through with it, the power overflowing as she rushes to attack Dimaria.

The attack seems ineffective as the Chronos Mage uses Age Scratch, inflicting all the pain of time on Wendy at once. The empowered Dragon Slayer presses on, but is still knocked back, thinking that Third Origin hasn’t been activated, weakened after being shot through the leg by Dimaria.

As she fires another blast to finish the Wind Dragon Slayer off, Sherria appears, knocking away the beam, appearing more mature than before, revealing that she had Third Origin used on her instead of Wendy, who was meant to buy her time.

Ultear was convinced by the God Slayer’s pleas, saying that Wendy will be needed in the future more than her and that she can defeat the God of Time with her God Slaying Magic.

With her power, Sherrisa starts to break away Dimaria’s God Soul Take Over, but is pushed back again. But Wendy manages to help her with an enchantment, allowing her to utilize her final move.

Sherria thinks to herself that she was only recognized because of her magic, but that she can still live on as a normal person.  Wendy tells her they’ll always be friends, Sherria agreeing as she prepares to finish off the Spriggan.

The God Slayer blasts Dimaria with her final attack, Ama no Murakumo, defeating the Chronos Mage as Ultear restores time.

Wendy heals Charle, Sherria collapsed after her attack. The Wind Dragon Slayer weeps as she thinks that she should’ve been the one to help Sherria, but the chapter ends as Sherria consoles Wendy, saying that magic isn’t as strong as love, noting their friendship. And we see Ultear, seemingly still alive as an old woman, noting how strong their bond was
