Gen manages to use mentalist tactics to direct Mozu to agree to an alliance, but can’t quite get him to give up the petrification weapon to them in exchange for taking over the island, still planning to take them out if they resist, since he’s been in a deadlock with Kirisame possessing the weapon and Ibara having control of Mozu being in or out of the inner circle. But afterwards, the plan starts, Mozu attacking the village under the guise of being an invader to make them use the petrification weapon

We Never Learn 129

When Yuiga comes home, his leg slightly injured (not serious), everyone has a snowball fight with Asumi’s provocation. Afterwards, Fumino, Rizu and Mafuyu, who got the wettest from snow, share a bath and make up, Rizu and Fumino apologizing for thinking badly of Mafuyu and their tutor apologizing for forcing her unrealistic standard on them

Fire Force 190

Arthur faces off against Dragon, who seems to be able to Infernalize at will, shocking Licht, but the power is too great, even shattering the Excalibur formed by Arthur. Meanwhile, Hibana is investigating the doppelgangers that attacked Konrou, thinking it might be connected to the spontaneous human combustion phenomenon.

My Hero Academia 244

Hawks helps Endeavor when the glass manipulating villain we saw before tries to trick him, faster than even Deku, Bakugou and Shouto. But then the #2 Hero tries to drop a hint by quoting the MLA’s book, suggesting to Endeavor he’s the traitor/double agent

One Piece 957

We learn more about the Rocks Pirates, the most dangerous crew 38 years ago, Garp and Roger teaming up to defeat the leader. Big Mom and Kaidou, as well as Whitebeard, were former members of his crew as well, the government keeping it quiet regarding the destruction on God Valley Island

Black Clover 222

Dorothy explains in her Dream World that Noelle’s mother Acier died from a curse by a devil called Megicula, and Nozel and everyone else, if not in the Dream World, cannot reveal this or the curse will consume them as well, Noelle now more linked to helping Asta in solving a mystery related to herself

Seven Deadly Sins 327

Escanor’s battle with the Demon King seems evenly matched, but as the time limit is reached for The One’s power, Escanor continues to emit even greater Sunshine power

The group discerns that there’s only 1 petrification weapon and that Kirisame doesn’t know. But Mozu appears, having tailed Amaryllis and Senkuu and the others deduce that he was aware of the infiltrators, wanting to sabotage Ibara. Gen moves to try and convince him to join their side.

We Never Learn 128

Yuiga is helped by Uruka, the dog guiding her to him, and Mafuyu drives them to the exam site, getting him there on time to take the Central Exam

Fire Force 189 

Arthur increases the strength of his attacks, but still doesn’t seem to be doing any damage to Dragon. After Dragon attacks with a single breath that makes a massive explosion, we see Arthur has extended his plasma pyrokinesis to a mantle to protect himself

One Piece 956

Two major developments come up after Reverie has concluded, Sabo seemingly reported as dead after fighting against the Marines to free Kuma (Blackbeard wanting to get the Flame Flame Fruit in his possession quickly), but more importantly overall, the Seven Warlords are all stripped of their influence, Riku and Cobra protesting how Crocodile and Doflamingo show the system’s flaws, the Marines trying to take all of them out now

Black Clover 221

 Yami is still dense about Charlotte’s feelings, Asta not helping by suggesting that she, like Noelle in his perspective, just trusts him a lot. The two talk more about how Charlotte’s curse is related to forbidden magic and she thinks someone in the Black Bulls is affected. The chapter concludes as Noelle goes to ask Dorothy about how her mother and the devil are related

Seven Deadly Sins 326

Diane’s Mother Creation power lets her manipulate the earth even more, lifting the Demon King off the lake and creating a barrier so he can’t gain magic power from it anymore. And the battle turns more in the Seven Deadly Sins’ favor as it’s high noon, Escanor’s powers at their peak

Kohaku continues to fight with Mozu, but Ginrou is stabbed by Ibara. The petrification weapon is used, Kohaku seeing it in more detail and bringing Ginrou with her so he can be petrified and eventually saved when Senkuu and the others revive them, hoping Amaryllis can convey what they’ve learned 

We Never Learn 127

The Center Exam, part of the major tests for admission into university is nearly upon everyone, the headmaster noting how Yuiga is much like his father in helping others. But after much preparation, Yuiga falls down the stairs after saving a dog from being hit by a car, in danger of missing the exam entirely

Fire Force 188

Obi’s hard muscles prevent the bug from entering his body, flexing them to keep it up, though Burns thinks he’ll burn himself out, Shinra ready to keep fighting. Meanwhile, Arthur makes a strike with Excalibur on Dragon, though it’s uncertain if he managed to win against such an opponent

My Hero Academia 243

We see that Hawks is becoming more strained in his double agent investigations for both sides. And Deku, Bakugou and Shoto start their internship at Endeavor’s, the #1 Hero only focusing on his son, the others still ready to learn

Preparations continue for the upcoming raid by Luffy’s group against Orochi and Kaidou at the Fire Festival on Onigashima. Enma’s power is such that Zoro has to train to wrestle it under his control, otherwise forcing immense Haki from him.

Black Clover 220

Damnatio briefly confronts Julius about covering for the Black Bulls, warning him that he’ll judge even the Wizard King if Asta is deemed a threat. Afterwards, Charlotte has an awkward moment, thinking Yami is going to ask her about her feelings, implied when she was possessed by Charla, running away before Yami can ask the real question regarding her curse

The final B Rank Wars begins after a chapter focusing on the team’s strategizing, Tamakoma-2 just needing 4 points to get 2nd place over Kageura squad. Chika and Yuma are close together at the start and Chika fires off Hound for real, Yuba squad deciding to focus on the others while Ninomiya is occupied dealing with Chika and Yuma

Ginrou is called by the village head, trying to occupy Ibara’s attention and distract him with ethyl acetate, but discovers that the leader is petrified and resembles Soyuz, Ibara attacking him from behind. Meanwhile, Kohaku fights against Mozu, trying to keep him distracted from discovering Ginrou

We Never Learn 126

Asumi is worried about maintaining her luck for the upcoming exams, but lucky things keep happening as she and Yuiga try to study. After the hamster that frightened her a while ago returns, Asumi is helped by Yuiga and her luck starts to stock up again, with awkward moments interspersed

Fire Force 187

 We see how Burns struggled with his belief in God and his prayers seemingly having no source, but then he found some revelation, claiming Shinra will never complete his wish. Obi has the Bug used on him, starting to turn into an Infernal

My Hero Academia 242

The UA teachers speciulate about why the internships are basically being forced on the students, possibly because fo the Deika City incident.The students speculate about who they want to intern for and after Christmas party fun, Todoroki approaches Bakugou and Deku (both not able to go to their agencies, Best Jeanist likely dead and Nighteye also deceased) to possibly intern with Endeavor

Black Clover 219

The Black Bulls and Asta are exiled per the Wizard King’s orders, Fuegoleon and Nozelle arriving to give this report to Damnatio, the Black Bulls ordered to keep Asta in custody and investigate further to determine his guilt or innocence

Seven Deadly Sins 325 

Meliodas arrives to assist the others against the Demon King, Diane using the Dance of Droll to power herself up.

A second new series in Jump this week from a new author, Tsurun Hatomune,  Mitama Security Spirit Busters. It’s a gag type series, where our character of focus, Joh Mitama, is a bodyguard for people against evil spirits, though he himself is terribly afraid, only able to do well when he’s extremely stressed. He saves Rena Haze from an evil spirit and then proceeds to move in next to her, since she has a line of spirits that are seemingly harmless, but could become evil

  

 Dr. Stone 119

 Kaseki is revived, Taiju putting in lots of effort to bring back the statue pieces for everyone, including a mysterious person lumped in with them. Kaseki starts to make not only the propeller base, but also ball bearings, presented first by Senkuu bringing up fidget spinners. And the prototype is made, though it still needs work

We Never Learn 125

Mizuki, Yuiga’s sister, brings him lunch at cram school and gets caught after being pulled into the classroom, though to be a student. After seeing how much everyone appreciates him, she leaves, thinking that he’s grown away from her. But Yuiga finds her and says they’ll always be close as siblings, Mizuki happy 

Fire Force 186

The next Butcher, Stream, uses heat and the resultant wind to create cutting attacks, but Arthur arrives, having fallen off the Matchbox before, easily defeating him. But then Dragon, seemingly the strongest of the Butchers, arrives, Arthur motivated by his perception of being a knight to defeat this eternal rival of knights

One Piece 954

Luffy’s alliance builds up their resources, and we discover the meaning behind the changed image, indicating a different port in Wano that they’re leaving from. Law learns that Apoo betrayed Hawkins and Kidd in the past to Kaidou, already loyal to the Yonkou. We also discover that Big Mom and Kaidou have formed an alliance, as well as the existence of giant monsters on Onigashima coming to the Fire Festival

Class 1-A has practice interviews for dealing with the public and most of them do well, though Bakugou and Deku both have issues they need to work out. We also hear internships are coming up again 

Black Clover 218

When everyone hears about Asta being on trial, the Black Bulls arrive, ready to fight the Magic Congress and become enemies of the Clover Kingdom to save Asta and Nero

Seven Deadly Sins 324 

Meliodas entrusts Gelda to help Zeldris, after she manages to find the true Zeldris amongst the illusions. The younger brother must now face the Demon King with his love alongside him as Meliodas is ejected
