Joker and Shinra face off against Burns, who is unwilling to bend in his newfound devotion to the God presence of the Evangelist

Momonosuke motivates the group of samurai to mobilize against Orochi and Kaidou, Shutenmaru remembering how the first attack 10 years ago was a failure. Meanwhile Zoro goes to get Shusui back and Law is being tortured by Hawkins for information

We see how Shigaraki was taken in by All For One, encouraged to embrace his desire for destruction (and also aware of his Quirk being underutilized from its full potential), while keeping his memories mostly suppressed, only coming to the surface with the fight against Re Destro

Black Clover 214

Rades forcefully revives Patri’s soul into Licht’s soulless body, forcing him to really atone. Lumiere thanks Nero for helping him and says that he will entrust the future of Clover Kingdom to his descendants (including Noelle and Mimosa). But Yami and William discover that Julius is indeed alive, having used stored up time with his magic to be reborn as a younger self.

Seven Deadly Sins 320

The Demon King gains newfound power as Zeldris is seemingly extinguished from his enhanced body and Meliodas struggles, stunned when the other Seven Deadly Sins (minus Escanor) appear to assist

 Shinra and Joker go ahead of the others to challenge the White Hoods, particular Captain Burns and Dragon the Butcher, leader of the group who all seem to have gold-themed names, one of whom killed Hague.

Luffy inspires the prisoners to finally rebel against the warden, saying that he wants to save them even though he’s an outsider to the country and seeks to release them from Kaidou’s bondage

Tenko, after initially thinking a villain was attacking, continued to use his unstable Quirk, killing his dog, sister and family, finally feeling a sense of relief after destroying his father, who returned home later, shocked at the scene

Black Clover 213

The war is brought to an end as Patri has Asta release his soul from William’s body, the Golden Dawn Captain bringing in all the souls with his World Tree Magic and Asta sending them back into reincarnation with his Demon Destroyer sword. Yuno is confirmed to have been possessed by Licht’s son and Asta is told that his grimoire is truly his now, Licht passing on

Seven Deadly Sins 319

The Demon King’s power continues to grow, Zeldris’ consciousness observed by Meliodas to be disappearing as we see that he is still trapped in the illusion, a phantasm of Gelda keeping him entranced.

We see a chapter based on a fan poll in Japan where Yuiga has a bizarre flashback in time and interacts with a younger Mafuyu when she skipped her skating lessons to go to an amusement park and learns it actually happened that way (time paradox!)

My Hero Academia 235

We start a flashback, Tomura remembering that his father prohibited him from even mentioning Heroes in the house, but lashed out when he discovered his son learned about his grandmother being a Hero. This caused Tenko to start to hold hatred in his heart 

Black Clover 212

The demon perishes, Asta’s devil taunting him. The group seeks to escape the Shadow Palace, barely getting away from the demon’s magic with Valtos’ help

Seven Deadly Sins 318

As Meliodas and Elizabeth continue to push the Demon King back, he realizes that they’re not even using their full power, still trying to save Zeldris from his influence.

World Trigger 180-181

While Yuma and Midorikawa prepare to meet Takuma Yuba, captain of Yuba squad, Mikumo talks with Kazuma Satomi, the top Gunner in Border and also part of Yuba Squad. He learns how Ninomiya and Yuba are both considered exceptionally strong, but each has particular advantages.  But Satomi is so focused on praising them both, he neglects to even tell Osamu how skilled he is as a Gunner

Yuma briefly spars with Obishama of Yuba Squad, who really admires him, but then gets Yuba to acknowledge his strength and shows his own power and skill with Shooter Triggers to instantly defeat him, the two sides both eager for the final B Rank War

While Kohaku discovers something at the inner palace that she wants to try and convey to Senkuu and the others, they are putting together a basic motor and such, their first test a small vehicle that will then be controlled with a remote

We Never Learn 118

Yuiga and Asumi have to stay at a nearby hot springs after sleeping through the last train past their stop and they have more awkwardness. But Asumi helps Yuiga get over some of his worries about exams, saying that even failures can help you improve

Fire Force 179


Company 8 enters Joker and Licht’s base, but while they’re trying to think of a plan, Shinra has an Adolla Link with Burns, learning that they plan to use the bug on Akitaru and turn him into an Infernal, Gold the Butcher from before approach Obi’s cell

My Hero Academia 234

Shigaraki remembers more of his memories with family, but still is unclear about the exact experiences. His Quirk seemingly evolves, Re Destro utilizing his Stress Quirk more to try and finish the battle, recognizing Shigaraki as an actual threat. But Skeptic warns Re Destro about Gigantomachia, who bursts onto the scene

Black Clover 211

With Nero’s help and Yami’s Mana Zone enhanced Dark Dimension Slash, Yuno providing support as well, Asta manages to land a solid blow on the demon, seemingly finishing it off

One Piece 948

Luffy is restrained by the other prisoners, their spirits broken, unable to imagine they can have real freedom with Orochi and Kaidou’s despotism in Wano. But Kawamatsu, the kappa samurai/yokozuna, breaks free with Raizou’s help and joins forces with Hyougoro, Kiku (Kikunojo, actually a trans man) and Raizou to inspire the prisoners to fight back against Queen’s goons.

Escanor is nearly killed by the baby Indra, but Mael intervenes and the Sin of Pride asks to use the Sunshine Grace once more, even after the Archangel tells him he’ll die from using it in such a state. But Escanor insists, saying he wants to protect people as the others did, Mael granting him the power.

While Kohaku, Amaryllis and even Ginrou get chosen for the harem, Senkuu quickly puts together a rough earpiece and reveals his plan to make a drone so they can take the petrification weapon out of the sky when Kirisame throws it

We Never Learn 117

Rizu, after reading through an essay for Yuiga’s quiz that was written by Fumino, realizes that both of them admired the other for traits they didn’t have and learns to appreciate herself more, especially with all her friends coming together for a party. This also makes her understand that her grandmother wanted her to have friends her own age, the supposed fight they had more to push Rizu away (also her grandmother may have been sick and dying)

Fire Force 177-178

Company 8 all resolves to follow Oubi’s principles of sticking together as a family to save him, even Licht agreeing as he says they’ll be going up against the Tokyo Empire as traitors.

Licht and the others continue to evade the law, while others like Hibana are divided as to what they should do. But Joker arrives, offering his assistance with Licht to keep the others hidden

Black Clover 210

While Asta, Yuno and Yami, with Charla’s help, focus on eliminating the demon, Lumiere and Licht combine their magic to protect the other Magic Knights in the hideout from the otherworldly magic.

One Piece 947

While Big Mom rampages through Udon, Queen gets into a position to headbutt her from above. But this just returns her to her senses, thankfully falling asleep and getting taken to Onigashima. Luffy, told by Hyougoro that Haki can be pushed into someone after cladding oneself in it, readies himself to fight the wardens left behind

Seven Deadly Sins 316
Ban uses Courechouse’s full power, managing to take out all but one baby Indra, which attacks Liones. Gilthunder, Howser and Griamore are all in danger of its power, but Escanor arrives to fight in spite of not having his Sunshine power, but willing to protect Liones regardless
